Chapter 1: Day of Hell.

Birds sang out over the warm spring afternoon and many people were out enjoying it with a young man lying in the grass of the local park in the town of King's Hight. His shoulder length black hair rested on his hand and his average build was showing through his white muscle shirt and jeans with sneakers on his feet.

"You're so lazy." a voice rang out and the annoyance to its tone was clear, and when he opened his eyes he could see a young brunette staring down at him with clear blue eyes.

"Get off my back Lisa, school out." he whined closing his eyes and trying to get a little more which was met with a hard kick to his side by her own boot, "Ouch, the hell was that for?"

"Lucas, you need to think of others." she scowled and walked away from him, her arms crossed over her chest and he sat up to see he turned to stare at him, "right now. You'll just live a lazy life and never gain anything the way you are."

"Oh, and you doing nothing but studying none stop will help you live a better?" he spat back and yet she just continued to walk away, leaving him there with a long sigh and then laid back on the grass, but his nap never returned as he just looked to the sky through the shade of his tree, "Maybe i should try something other than just napping." He just laid there for another hour before the sun began to set, and then he began his walk home his hands in his pocket. What Lisa had told him resting on his head and he felt an itch in the back of his that was ordering him to listen to her.

"Shoot." a yelped came out and his eyes turned to older lady trying to juggle groceries with her door. He just stared at the door for a few moments, his mind locked on what he should do when Lisa's word rang out again. He checked his watch and shrugged.

"I'm already late, a little longer." Lucas said walking up and quickly offered to help her, which she accepted smiling at him and he helped her get everything put away.

"Oh, you're so sweet helping me." she said sitting at the table smiling at Lucas, "How about i get you some treat before you leave as a thank you."

"O-oh, there's no need for that." Lucas said putting his hands up and smiled at her, not wanting to overstep his welcome.

"Oh, nonsense. It's not right to not offer something in return of such kindness i say." She got up and walked over to the cupboards, looking through things as Lucas let out a long sigh, text his mom that he was going to be late.

The sun had set long before Lucas arrived at home, and he could feel his mother's angry look on her face for him being late. She had always told them to get home before dark and that was her one hard rule, she refused to make any exceptions with that rule, even if he helped an old lady get her food inside. He just stared at the house, staring at the lights were all on. He sighed, knowing he had to go in there and slowly walked to the steps leading to the door. He lifted his hand to knock on it yet something felt off and when he touched the knob, the door swung up.

"Mom?" Lucas called out stepping inside the foray and looked to the living room, his heart sinking as there on the couch was the body of his young brother and sister, looks of horror on their faces and blood all over the room. "My God, no." Lucas said covering his mouth and looked at their bodies, their faces engraving into his mind, and he wanted to puke from the sight before him.

"AHHHHHHH!" a screamed pulled Lucas from his stooper and he charged up the stairs, that was his mother screaming and he moved faster than he ever though he could. Arriving at the second floor, Lucas was met with more horror with blood covering the halls and his mother's body lying on the floor.

"M-mom?" he stepped closer to the body, his heart sinking looking at her and reached out before movement caught his eyes. He looked at the door at the other end of the hall and his heart sank even deeper than even he thought possible, for that was the room of his baby sister's room. Lucas saw movement inside and gulped grabbing the bat in the closet his brother used for baseball practice. With weapon in hand, Lucas moved swiftly towards the door and pushed it up, bat pulled back ready to swing. There in the dark room was a tall man in a long, black trench coat and wide brim hat standing over Mei's crib. His large arms seemingly moving around something and Lucas felt something he couldn't quite figure out yet sweat ran down his face and his mind was screaming at him to run from whatever he was. But he couldn't just leave his possibly alive sister in his clutches. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Lucas yelled out to him and held his bat firmly in hand, he wanted to sound as tough as he could with cracking of fear in his voice and sweat running down his body.

"Hmm?" the man turned to look at Lucas, allowing him to see his complexion was ghostly grey with long black hair and goggles over his eyes, yet even without seeing them, Lucas could feel them glaring at him and since this man was not human simply by how he stood. Yet in his right arm rested Mei, soundly asleep from what he could tell. This fueled Lucas, clinching the bat in his right hand and staring at the man.

"Let go of my sister!" Lucas ordered stepping closer and then stopped, he felt so much pressure on his body and he couldn't move. His eyes that where still locked on the man widen as he seems to be a giant, looming over Lucas as if he was prey.

"Oh, I missed one it seems." his voice was crisp and clear, yet something about it made Lucas' blood run cold looking at him holding his baby sister. "That's fine, she's the only one I really need." Lucas' eyes widen when he heard that and gritted his teeth before forcing himself to take another step further, glaring at the man.

"Leave my sister alone." Lucas spat out stepping closer slowly while the man stood perfectly still and looked at Lucas moving towards him.

"Well, I can tell you have spunk." he spoke pulling out a pocket watch and looking at it, "But I'm afraid it's feeding time." Just as those words left his lips, Lucas heard movement behind him and when he turned, he saw his younger siblings and mother standing in the hall, their eyes yellow and nails sharped into claws as they looked at him with hunger in their eyes.

"M-mom? I-it's me." Lucas tried to speak yet he could see they weren't listening, as they snarled and looked at him as if he was meat and a loud gulp could be heard from him when they all leapt at him. Lucas rolled under them, and he turned to see them land where he once was and watched them turn to look at him. Lucas saw the man behind them grinning, showing off jagged teeth and an ugly chuckle before his attention went back to his family attacking him. His mother leapt into the air, her claws and fangs ready to rip you to pieces when you swung the bat as hard at you could, slamming it into her head and sending it back into your siblings.

"Oh, that was a nice one." the man said whistling at his actions and the horrid look on Lucas' face after doing that to his own mother, "if she had been human, you would have killed her."

"W-what do you mean if human?" Lucas didn't need him to answer when he saw his mother stand up without a any sign that had done anything other than push her. She growled like a rabid dog and Lucas felt pure dread inside his heart. There was no way he could fight her and so he ran. He nearly leapt down the stairs and booked it out into the night. He ran as fast as he could his heart pounded in his chest, a burning feeling forming with himself pushing his body to what he thought was his limit, and he just kept pushing it. He looked at all the houses around, him and tried to call out for help, yet the words caught in his throat and only heaving huffs escaped from him. He could call for help and the growling sound of his monster family echoed out behind him. He didn't dare turn back, for that he knew they were close and that he would soon be dead on the ground. As if to prove him right, Lucas lost his footing in a pothole and turned his ankle. He yelped in pain and tuples over. Rolling across the ground and skidding slightly to a stop, his chest heaving and his eyes looking at the full moon. He felt a sense of peace with the sound of his emanate death approaching and he knew he had nothing really left to give as he could see his mother leaping over head, aiming towards him to use him to feed. But something in him took over and out of insisting placed the bat he held onto up, which stopped the biting jaws. But her claws dug deep into his flesh and he winced from the tearing into his body.

"So, you aren't just dead meat." a voice rang out over his growling mother and a chain suddenly wrapped around his mother's neck, and she was quickly pulled off of Lucas. He used what energy he had left to sit up to see a towering man holding the chain that had snagged his mother and was pulling her towards him. He was wearing a black outfit with long dread locks, dark skin complexion, and sunglasses of his eye, "here she comes."

"I know you oaf." a smaller figure wearing a similar outfit said their hand on what he thought looked like rapier pulled back in her hand with a light pink tint to it, "Breath of Music Third From: Mort Instantanée." And in a second, the sword was thrusted into his mother's head, and she wailed in pain before the man pulled with all his might to firmly pinning her. His mother wailed as she began to melt and turn into nothing. Licas just stared at the spot where his mother once was, now nothing be her sleep clothes and yet he could need to say something.

"There's more." Lucas said just as his siblings leapt into the air behind them.

"Thanks for the warning." the man said turning to face them and pushed his hands into sleeves on his side, pulling out two bladed knuckle things with an orange tint to them, "Beath of Muscle First Form: Infinite Jab." His arms were a blur, cutting them into piece and Lucas watched them vanish like his mother. And in that moment, Lucas felt more alone then he ever did before with all of his family now gone, and these two and that guy the cause of it. He felt an anger form in his body and it burned hot.
