Glynda took a sip of her coffee before placing it on the counter, looking at Jaune and Nimueh with piercing eyes. Even the two powerful warriors shuttered at the gaze of the green-eyed beauty.

"Aunt Glynda," Argent yelled in excitement as he ran up and hugged his old babysitter. "I've missed you!"

Glynda rubbed his head with a sweet, motherly smile. "Yes, it has been a long time, hasn't it, my dear. Have you been keeping up with your studies?"

"Shi-shi-shi, I bet I can answer any of your questions. I did my homework in a week."

"Oh, did you?"

"Yeah, dad said if I get all of my annoying work out of the way, I can do whatever I want for the rest of my vacation."

"Hmm," she went as she glanced up at Jaune.

"It was a good idea, wasn't it," he asked sheepishly, still a bit scared of his ex-girlfriend and former teacher.

"I suppose. Argent, I bought you the Schnee System Supreme."

"THE LATEST GAME CONSOLE MR. WHITLEY MADE," Argent asked with starry eyes.

'Why am I just a mister,' Whitley in a comic bubble asked.

"Indeed. And I even bought that new game you kids enjoy. What was it? Skyline Taboo North?"

"THAT'S THE SEQUEL TO SKYLINE FINAL SUNRISE," he went in excitement.

"They're in your room. It's a Welcome Home gift. Go and enjoy yourself," Glynda said with a smile.

"YAHOO," Argent went as he ran off. "I LOVE YOU, AUNT GLYNDA!"

"Love you, too, sweetie," Glynda said with a wave. "Now then," she began as she got a serious expression.

"Uh, Hey, Glynda. What's up," Jaune went nervously. He jumped when Glynda took out and snapped her riding crop.

"YOU RECKLESS IDIOTS!"

"What did we do," Nimueh asked.

Glynda's eyebrow twitched. She then growled before she wiped out scroll. "AN ELDER KING ICE DRAGON!? WAR IN NEW MANTLE?!"

"Hey, we handled that, didn't we," Jaune asked.

"According to this article, YOU ALMOST DIED!"

"I'm a Huntsman, Glynda. That's part of the job."

"IS PART OF THE JOB PUTTING YOUR SON IN MORTAL DANGER?! TWICE, I MIGHT ADD," she yelled as she swiped to other articles. The first article she swiped to was how Jaune and Argent was attacked by an entire army of criminals while riding King's Glaive, the two falling off a cliff only to be saved by a Nevermore. "I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK WHEN I READ THIS!"

"Well, at least I got an awesome Nevermore out of that," Jaune went nervously.

"AND BEFORE THAT, YOU WERE ATTACKED BY A CULT! LEAD BY TYRIAN CALLOWS! IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH, ARGENT WAS INVOLVED IN THE FIGHT!"

"Hey, he did well in that fight," Nimueh defended.

"HE'S TEN! HE SHOULDN'T BE FIGHTING AT ALL! I'll admit, I'm proud of what he was able to accomplish."

"See? Argent is growing into a fine Huntsman," Nimueh said.

"I'M NOT EXCUSING THESE ACTIONS! AND I SURE AS HELL AM NOT EXCUSING EITHER OF YOU FOR ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN!"

"Allowing? Glynda, we were ambushed," Jaune said. "I'm the #1 Huntsman. I have countless enemies. Now that I'm the Grimm King, I have an even bigger target on my back."

"Meaning your son has one as well, if not one even larger since he's, like I said before, A TEN-YEAR-OLD BOY!"

"A ten-year-old who can send people three times his size flying over a mountain! Literally," Nimueh yelled.

"He shouldn't HAVE to be doing that! He should be being a child! Learning, growing, playing, a boy being a boy! Not following the most dangerous man in the world into literal wars! Especially when that man is supposed to be PROTECTING him from such horrors!"

"Hey, I TRIED to leave Argent behind. I've tried to leave him with Ren, my parents, I even tried to leave him with his mom; but the kid is as stubborn as I am. He's an Arc. We do what we have to and want to."

"Oh, I'm well aware. Still, as his parents, you two should have done more. Nimueh, you're his mother! How could you allow him to be put in such danger?!"

"Maybe because I'm his mom and I know what my kid can do! I raised him, didn't I?!"

"Well maybe you didn't raise him well enough!"

Nimueh's eyes widened before they narrowed. "Oh, NOW I get it."

"Get what," Glynda went in annoyance.

"You think you could have been a better mom."

Glynda's eyes widened. "I beg your pardon?!"

"Admit it! This isn't just about being worried about Arie! You're jealous of me for being his mom and Jaune's wife!"

"W-What does being married to Jaune have to do with Argent's safety?!"

"You were also worried about Jaune's safety!"

"OF COURSE, I WAS WORRIED! HOW CAN I NOT BE?! ARGENT ALMOST LOST HIS FATHER!"

"YOU THINK I WASN'T TERRIFIED?! HOW DO YOU THINK IT FELT, BEING A SWORD HE COULDN'T EVEN TOUCH AS HE WAS FIGHTING A NEW SPECIES OF GRIMM THAT NEARLY BEAT HIM TO DEATH!?"

"WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE RATIONED YOUR AURA BETTER!"

"YOU THINK I DIDN'T TRY?! HE WAS USING ME TO TAKE OUT WAVES OF GRIMM WITHOUT RECHARGING!"

"WELL, WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM?!"

"I DID TRY, BUT HE'S STUBBORN AND WE WERE BEING OVERWHELMED! WE WERE IN A WAR, GLYNDA!"

"THAT'S YOUR EXCUSE FOR FAILING YOUR PARTNER?!"

"FAILING?! AT LEAST I WAS THERE! HERE YOU ARE JUDGING ME WHILE YOU WERE BEING COMFORTABLE IN MY HOUSE!"

"I WAS KEEPING IT SAFE!"

"OH, GREAT EXCUSE, SIS! I WAS JUST HOUSESITTING WHILE MY SISTER AND MY EX-BOYFRIEND WERE FIGHTING DADDY DEAREST'S NEWEST MONSTERS WHILE PRETENDING TO BE WHO I'M NOT!"

"EXCUSE ME?! AND WHO PRAY TELL WAS I PRETENDING TO BE?!"

"YOU WERE PRETENDING TO BE ME!"

"WHAT IN OUR FATHER'S NAME ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!"

"ADMIT IT! YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE A BETTER MOM TO ARIE AND A BETTER WIFE TO JAUNE THAN ME!"

"MAYBE I DO BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE IT'S TRUE!" Both sisters' eyes widened before they turned to look away from each other, Nimueh looking angry while Glynda looked ashamed.

Then, clapping was heard. "And the truth comes out."

Both sisters looked to see the third and final sister.

"Jinn," Glynda went in a tired tone.

"Hello, sister," Jinn said with a smile.

Jinn walked in and poured herself a cup of the coffee Glynda brewed. She blew on it a few times before taking a sip. "Aah, I could get used to this."

"So, you brought another one of my sisters back, did you," Glynda asked Jaune.

"I needed her help. Giving her a functioning human body was the least I could do."

"Mm, that's technically true for now, and it's also unimportant. What is important is that little outburst of yours, Glynda," Jinn said as she glanced at her older sister, who looked away. "That was quite a bold statement for you to make."

"Especially coming from the woman who broke up with him in the first place," Nimueh spat out.

"I'm the Headmistress of New Beacon Academy and a member of the New Vale Council."

"Oh, real good excuse," Nimueh went with a role of her eyes. "Just admit to the real reason you broke up."

"Real reason? What real re-"

"You were afraid to commit to him," Nimueh interrupted. Glynda's eyes widened before she looked away. "When you two were dating, Jaune was famous for being one of the heroes who defeated Salem, only for his fame to continue to rise as he was slowly reaching the title of World's Greatest Huntsman. You were afraid you weren't going to be good enough, right?"

Glynda turned her back to Nimueh. "That's not it."

"Oh, then what?! Was it too weird to date a former student?! Too weird to date your sister's partner?! Or did you just fall out of love with him?!"

Glynda shot up before looking at Nimueh with enraged eyes. "I WOULD NEVER FALL OUT OF LOVE WITH HIM!"

"REALLY?! BECAUSE IT SURE LOOKS LIKE IT TO ME! YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM! HE WAS DEJECTED AFTER THAT FOR A WEEK BEFORE I LITERALLY SLAPPED SOME SENSE INTO HIM! HE LOVED YOU!"

"I LOVED HIM, TOO!"

"THEN WHY AREN'T YOU WEARING THIS," Nimueh asked as she held up her left hand, flashing her wedding ring, making Glynda look away. "WHY IS ARGENT CALLING ME MOM AND NOT YOU?! HUH?! WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE?!"

"BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID OF HOLDING JAUNE BACK!"

The room went quiet.

"Holding me back? Glynda, what are you talking about?"

Glynda was quiet before she sighed and looked Jaune right in the eye. "I could see it, Jaune. Plain as day. You were climbing the ranks at record speed, growing more and more as a Huntsman. I was so proud of you. . . But then you confessed to me, and we started seeing each other romantically. You spent so much time with me, making me the happiest woman in Vale... then making me the happiest woman in Remnant."

"But then, I noticed that you were going on less missions, preferring to spend your days around me. And there I was, furthering my own career. Leading New Vale and New Beacon into the future, raising promising Huntsmen and Huntresses, bettering life in our kingdom." Glynda giggled. "People were even calling my time in office Vale's Golden Age. They're still calling it that."

"Must be easy, given that you're the Spirit of Choice," Nimueh began. "It sure is convenient, being able to see into the future. Makes governing the kingdom REAL hard," she went with a roll of her eyes.

". . . I haven't used my powers in years."

"What," Nimueh went.

"Not since Ozpin was alive. The choices I made... were my own without insight of the future."

"Wait... does that mean... when you broke up with me... it wasn't because of what you saw?"

"You thought I ended our relationship because of a vision I had?"

"Well... it was an excuse I came up with, if I'm being honest. I tried wracking my brain to figure out how I messed one of the best relationships I've ever had." Glynda didn't respond. Jaune then chuckled. "Then again, I did keep getting dumped after you, but you never forget your first real breakup."

Glynda laughed softly. "Your first breakup. Maybe I was a domino effect."

"Maybe."

"Still, I didn't use my powers to see into the future. I just... I wanted what was best for you, Jaune, and I believed I wasn't the best woman for you."

"Which is a bit ironic," Jinn said, getting everyone's attention. "Had you used your future sight, you would have been able to see that Jaune would have become the #1 Huntsman with you still being his lover," Jinn said before sipping her coffee.

Glynda's eyes widened. "What? How could you know that?"

Jinn raised an eyebrow. "Spirit of Knowledge, remember? I know everything. You may be able to see into every possible future, but I KNOW about every possible future."

"So, you're saying... that I-"

"May have broken up with Jaune for nothing."

The room became quiet.

Glynda then smiled. "I don't regret it."

"Y-You don't," Jaune asked.

"No. After all... you're happy, aren't you, Jaune?"

Jaune looked into Glynda's eyes before looking at his hand. "Well... aside from these powers being forced on me... I'd say that I am. I've got a beautiful wife, an amazing son, and a family I'm proud to be a part of. Being the Grimm King might be the only complaint I have about my life."

"Then that's fine with me. My family is happy, and that's all that matters." She then looked at Nimueh. "Nim... I am truly sorry about what I said. You're my sister and I love you... and I love Argent. . . The son YOU raised. The boy I love is only the way he is because he has you for a mother, and I wouldn't change that for anything. Please... please, forgive me."

Nimueh was looking away, arms crossed, with an angry look in her eye. Then, she sighed. "You're lucky we're family."

"D-Does that mean-"

"Yeah, yeah. I forgive you." She then smirked at Glynda. "But if you ever pull something like that again, you know I will hurt you, right?"

Glynda smiled back. "I wouldn't have it any other way." She then smiled at Jaune. "Sorry for the commotion, and in your own house, no less."

"Hey, I'm used to crazy drama by now. We're family, aren't we?"

Glynda wiped a stray tear off her eye. "Yes. We are."

"I doubt any family is as dysfunctional as ours, though," Jinn said as she placed her empty cup in the sink. "Still, isn't it something? Three of the Four Relics under one roof. We'd only need our dear brother to finish the set."

Glynda and Nimueh then frowned. "We can never let that happen," all three sisters said in unison.

"Because that would summon the brothers," Jaune asked.

"Exactly," Nimueh said.

"Even without our consent, they would appear the moment all four of us were brought together," Glynda explained.

Jaune sighed. "Guess there can never be a full family reunion, eh?"

"No," the three sisters said in unison.

Jaune was doing something he hadn't done in a long time. He was cooking dinner. He was using the wok Ren gave him to fry some rice while Nimueh was cooking the meat. They were cooking for five, since Jaune was somehow able to convince Glynda to stay the meal, much to Nimueh's reluctance. Still, she thought she was actually getting along with her family for once, so why ruin it now?

Glynda was watching the two as they were preparing dinner, especially Jaune. "You've learned a few new recipes, I see. I never taught you how to cook with a wok, after all."

Jaune chuckled. "After we broke up, Ren showed me some other recipes since he thought it was best to know more than one cuisine. He was right. There are very few culinary styles in Remnant I don't know about. Making them... eh, another story all together."

Nimueh snickered. "I still remember when you tried to make that Menagerie pineapple recipe."

"Oh, gods, that was sour," Jaune shuttered. "Hey, Jinn, would you mind letting Argent know dinner's almost ready?"

"Well, I have nothing else to do," she said as she got up and went to grab her nephew.

"Oh, Glynda, did you know that he also made-"

"DON'T MENTION THAT!" Nimueh gave a sneaky smile and snicker at Jaune, peaking Glynda's curiosity.

"He made it so spicy that he was practically breathing fire," Nimueh laughed.

"OI!"

Glynda couldn't help but join her sister in the laughter.

Moments later, the family was enjoying the meal. Fried rice, seasoned beef cuts, baked potatoes, Nimueh's personally made salad that even a kid like Argent loved to eat, and the Lie Ren Ramen that Jaune HAD to make when he saw he had the perfect amount of ingredients.

Jaune was sitting at the head of the table. Of course he would be, being the patriarch and head of the house. At his right was his wife, their child sitting next to her. On his left was Glynda, with Jinn sitting next to her.

Jaune couldn't help but look around and see his son, wife, and sisters-in-laws enjoying the meal. He then looked forward at the empty seat in front of him. "That could have been Ambrosius's seat."

"We've been over this, Jaune. All four of us can never be brought together," Glynda said as she ate some of the salad.

"Yeah. But is there really no way for that to happen, Jinn?"

"Oh, there is."

"What," everyone but Argent went.

Jinn then looked at Jaune. "You'd just need to be strong enough to defeat my dear uncle and make sure he doesn't destroy the world."

Jaune groaned while Nimueh growled. "THAT WASN'T FUNNY!"

"It wasn't a joke, dear sister. Unless Jaune knows for sure he can beat Darkness, we siblings can never truly be together. This family will forever be fractured."

The mood soured a bit, Glynda wordlessly eating, her eyes hidden by the shine of her glasses. Argent wasn't really paying attention. Being a kid has its advantages at times. Nimueh grumbled, leaning on the table, while Jaune sighed.

"Well, Jinn... how do I beat him?"

"Well, obviously, you need to master your powers. Become an even better sorcerer than Ozma or Salem ever were."

"Well, that's vague, considering I have no idea how powerful either one was in their prime," Jaune went as he leaned against his hand.

Jinn shrugged. "You also need to master your Grimm powers and become more proficient in Conquering. You should be able to Conquer Elder Grimm before you challenge Darkness."

Jaune raised an eyebrow. "Why do you make it sound like there are many more where that Ice Dragon came from?"

"Because there are."

"WHAT," Jaune went.

"Oh, terrific," Nimueh went.

"Of course, there are," Glynda sighed.

"But if you want my advice, don't go after any of them until you get your new armor from my brother. It took an entire Kingdom to beat that Elder King Ice Dragon, after all."

"A fight that nearly cost your life," Glynda went as she gave Jaune a cold look.

"You're not going to let that go, are you," Jaune asked with a slump.

"Absolutely not."

Jaune sighed in defeat. "So, to recap: I need to master my magic, become the most powerful of the Grimm, and be able to Conquer Grimm the size of a mountain, some of which are big enough to swallow whole kingdoms. Anything else," Jaune asked as he sipped his drink.

"You need to conquer the Grimmlands."

Jaune did a spit take. Glynda froze, midbite of her salad before dropping the fork. Nimueh crushed her glass into dust, her eyes wide. Even Argent was shocked by what his aunt said, stabbing through the table.

"WHAT," everyone went.

"CONQUER THE GRIMMLANDS," Glynda went as she shot up from her seat, slamming her hands on the table.

"That's what I said," Jinn said as she ate some of her steak. "Delicious."

"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! NO ONE HAS EVEN ATTEMPTED SUCH A TASK! NOT EVEN OZMA! THE GRIMM FROM THOSE CURSED LANDS ARE FAR MORE POWERFUL AND DEADLY THAN THE ONES ROAMING REMNANT! IT'S SUICIDAL TO SO MUCH AS ENTER THE LANDS, LET ALONE FOR A MAN AS HEROIC AS JAUNE TO TRY AND CONQUER IT," Glynda lectured.

"And yet there are some who actually LIVE in the lands."

Jaune then looked away with a glare. "Callows."

"Precisely. It's only thanks to his own madness and evil, plus living in Salem's old castle, that he and his cult survived so long in the lands. However, it isn't his to reside in. It's yours."

"What?"

Jinn giggled. "Dear brother-in-law, remind me: who are you?"

Jaune raised an eyebrow before he realized the answer Jinn was waiting for. "The King of the Grimm. . . You want me to establish a brand-new kingdom." Glynda and Nimueh looked shocked.

"Correct. After all, what is a king without a kingdom?" Jinn took another bite. "You're going to need control over the Grimmlands if you want to stand a chance against Darkness. Without command of every single Grimm on Remnant, not even you will stand a chance against him. He's too powerful."

"But does he really need to conquer those cursed grounds," Glynda asked.

"Of course. How else is he going to make new Grimm without the Grimm Pools?"

"I'm sorry, what," Jaune went.

"Hm? Yes. You're going to create new Grimm. You've done it before."

"I've what?!"

"Don't tell me you forgot. You even made an entire island for the giant cutie."

Jaune then remembered. "My giant Beringel? Big Ben? That's who you're talking about?"

"Exactly. True, Grimm can naturally become as large and as powerful as the one you made, but they are extremely rare. If you waited for giant Grimm to appear naturally, you'd be waiting for centuries, and we can't wait that long. Too risky."

"Then... I really do need the Grimmlands?"

"Mhm. To create giant Grimm, new Grimm, Grimm variants, and even more powerful Grimm." Jinn took another bite.

"In short, you absolutely need to become the King of the Grimmlands."

Jaune sighed as he buried his face into his hands. "Creating the first monarchy in Remnant since the Great War, and in the Grimmlands, no less. Lovely."

"It shouldn't be that bad." He glanced at Jinn, who was still enjoying her meal. "You at least have friends in high places."

"What do you mean?"

Jinn glanced at Jaune with a smile. "How many Huntsmen can say they are acquainted with all four Headmasters of Remnant, let alone have two of them as former lovers?" Glynda jolted at that. "And by law, all Headmasters are part of their kingdom's council. And if that isn't enough already, you have three allies in New Mantle's council."

Jaune looked down. "Maybe two. Winter and Robyn are most certainly friends of mine. Weiss... is a bit of a tricky situation."

Jinn giggled. "Don't worry. She cares about you in her own way. True, you got her wife pregnant and raised your son in secret."

"Hm," Argent went, slurping up his soup.

"Don't do that, Argent. You were taught better," Glynda said.

"Sorry," he went.

"But she would still aid you in whatever endeavor you take on," Jinn said with a smile. "Besides, taming the most ruthless and dangerous land in all of Remnant? Who wouldn't want to help with a project like that," Jinn asked before sipping her drink.

"She's got a point," Nimueh said.

Jaune sighed. "Seems I keep getting into more and more trouble."

"You're a Huntsman, Jaune," Glynda began. "Trouble is drawn to you."

"Yeah. I guess it is," he said before beginning to eat. "Mm, rice coulda used more peas."

"Always bashing your own cooking," Nimueh said, making the sisters laugh.

After dinner, Glynda was preparing to leave.

"Wait, Glynda," Jaune went.

"Hm?"

"It's pretty dark out."

"Of course. It's ten at night."

"And if you haven't noticed, I live in a mansion, meaning I've got plenty of room."

"Oi," Nimueh went in an annoyed tone.

"Jaune, are you suggesting I stay the night," Glynda went with a smile and raised eyebrow.

"I don't see why not. Ow," Jaune went after Nimueh jabbed his side.

"Hm? Any complaints, Nimueh," Glynda asked her sister.

"No. None at all," she strained through her forced smile.

Glynda giggled. "I think I'll take you up on your offer."

"Glynda." She looked up to see Jinn leaning on the rails of the second floor. "Just to let you know, I already claimed the room next to Argent."

Glynda sighed. "Well, that's a shame. Fine," she said as she closed the door and held her scroll over the scanner.

DOORWAY LOCKED. SECURITY SYSTEM NOW ACTIVATED

"Mm, useful," Jaune went.

"Well, Jaune, I'll be going to my room. See you tomorrow," Glynda said before jumping to the second floor, landing next to Jinn. The two sisters then walked down the hallway, having a conversation between the two. Jaune just watched with a smile.

He was then yanked down, looking into Nimueh's eyes. "Bed. Now."

"Uh, sure? But shouldn't we-"

"NOW."

"WHOA," Jaune went after Nimueh used her awesome speed to get the two into their room, slamming the door shut and locking it behind her.

Behind the closed door, you could hear the muffled voices of the couple:

"Uh, Nim? What's wrong?"

"We've been on the road with our kid for an entire month. If we weren't fighting, you were being seduced."

"Se- I WASN'T BEING SE-"

"Raven's hips."

"Urk."

"Winter's legs."

"Uh."

"Ruby's eyes."

"Well, that's just-"

"And those damned fangirls!"

"Hey, I wasn't interested in-"

"I know."

"Oh, thank the go-"

"But I also know you were turned on by BOTH of my sisters."

"Aw, shit."

"It's time you remembered who you TRULY belong to."

"Wait, Nim? What are you-" RIP. "WHOA! HEY! THAT WAS MY LAST NEW MANTLE SHIRRRrrr-"

"Like what you see, big guy? Oh? I see you do."

"Uh, how did we end up in this situation?"

"Like I said: I need to remind you who really owns you."

"Did you have to phrase it like that?"

"I did, and I'm going to BANG this lesson into you all night."

"Wait, Nimueh! What about-"

"Just shut up, you big idiot."

"Whoa!"

"You know, we didn't have dessert. EITHER of us. Time to dig in."

"Oh, gods, I needed this."

"I know."

Next morning.

Jinn was leaning on the doorframe while Glynda was standing in the doorway, her eyes hidden by the shine of her glasses as both watched the family head towards the King's Glaive.

"Jaune, are you sure that a pair of jeans and a dress shirt is all you will wear," Glynda asked.

"I don't really have anything that can compare to my old armor, Glyn. Though, if we find some cheap armor at a bazaar or something, I'll get it. I'll only need it until I get my actual armor from Ambrosius. Until then, I'm pretty sure my Aura will protect me well enough. Besides, I have Nimueh."

"He has me," she said with a peace sign.

"I'll be fine."

"And there's no way Argent will stay in Vale," Glynda asked.

"Nope," the boy answered. "Sorry, Aunt Glynda," he said with his famous smile.

She sighed. "Fine. Just be careful, you three."

"Don't worry. We will," Jaune said as he and his family got onto King's Glaive.

"Or, well, try," Nimueh said.

"Bye, Aunt Glynda! Bye, Aunt Jinn," Argent said with a wave before the Arcs drove off into the distance.

Jinn was happily waving before looking at her sister. "They kept you up, did they?"

"How did they not wake you up," Glynda asked, her shine gone, revealing the deep blush on her face.

Jinn shrugged. "Why let my knowledge bother me? Besides, it didn't sound any different than what Jaune did to you when you were dating."

"Hah?! Our love life was not that-"

"Glynda." She looked into Jinn's eyes, her sister raising an eyebrow with her knowing smile.

Glynda sighed. "I'm beginning to see why Nimueh doesn't like us that much," Glynda said as she walked down the steps.

"Love you, too, my dear sister. You know, you can stay in the manor a bit longer."

"I'm both a council member AND Headmistress. I don't have the luxury of sitting around a mansion all day," she said as she reached her car. She was about to get inside before she looked up and waved at Jinn. "Be well, sister." She then got inside and drove away.

Jinn just waved happily at the vanishing car. She waited until the dust clouds on the dirt road vanished. "And there they all go. You can come out now... father," she said as she glanced behind her.

The moment she said that a bright light flashed in the middle of the manor.

Jinn turned around, not at all shocked to see what was before her. "Astral Projection. No different from a holographic message. The perfect loophole past your own promise. Clever. So, what is it that you want, God of Light?"

The God of Light was indeed standing before his daughter, no taller than Jaune himself, with his antlers adding more height. As Jinn said, this was just a projection, which was why the being was transparent and nowhere near as bright as the god himself.

"Jinn, it seems we need to have a conversation," he said, making Jinn smile in anticipation.

A/N: Two in one week. Not bad. I've been able to get off work a bit earlier, and the chapter before this was pretty short, so I thought, "why not?"

Hope you enjoyed this chapter. Think the Arcs have a decent family dynamic or is it too cliché? The worst thing you could possibly say to me... is that they're a family like The Simpsons... or *shiver* Family Guy. I want them to feel like an actual family that you wouldn't mind being a part of, but a damn sitcom family that makes you reject the thought of one.

Sure, Jaune's a bit of a himbo, but I don't want him to be an idiot father like Peter. Homer is a... Hm, maybe not exactly an okay dad, but he's a much better one than Peter. If anything, Bob Belcher is the best example of a good father I can think of when it comes to American cartoon sitcoms. I wouldn't mind if Jaune is compared to him.

Yeah, Nimueh isn't very close to her sisters, but hey, family's gonna family, right? Family drama is bound to happen, especially when the siblings are essentially gods, one of them being a literal know-it-all, another being a serious beauty who knows all possible paths towards all possible futures, and the last one being a hot head who is more than powerful enough to destroy the entire freakin' world.

Anyway, leave your reviews and look forward to the next chapter. If I have the time, it might be sooner than you'd think. Or, maybe not. Meh.

Until then.
