The pain in Kate's side was getting worse and worse as each hour passed. Trying to stand up, she hissed and fell back onto the couch.
"Kate Bishop, what's wrong?" Yelena asked, letting herself in through the window.
"I don't know," Kate replied, tears springing to the corners of her eyes.
"Let me."
Allowing Yelena to remove her shirt and lay her down, Kate felt cold fingers press into her skin. Screaming when Yelena pressed down on her lower right side, the tears broke free.
"Appendix, we need to get you to the hospital," Yelena said, wiping the tears away.
