Guest-
Yup it's me and nah, could never cheat on best girl and her daughter XD
Anywho, Wasnt expecting the kraken tbh but love the Pirates of the Caribbean reference dude XD
Excited for more chapters XD
Smart man, because if you cheat on best girl and her daughter, they'd rob you blind and you know it.
Expect the unexpected when I'm involved.
Hope you enjoy this one, mate.
The four teens were now on the largest piece of debris they could find, all four of them fitting on it as they were catching their breaths. None of them had their Auras broken, but they sure felt battered and bruised enough to make it seem so.
"So, Sparrow, mind opening a portal back to camp," Raptor asked.
"Let me catch my breath, man. Oi."
Quamar giggled at her fiancé before looking out to sea. Her eyes widened. "Oh, no. I thought he would have been long gone by now."
Sparrow sucked his teeth, knowing full well what his fiancée meant. He looked out in her direction to see the approaching Soaring Mistrilian. "Guess he thinks he can finish what his Kraken started."
The ship then fired off its cannons. Raptor jumped, rocking their "boat" as he caught the deadly ball. He then spun around, using its own force, and threw it back at the ship. It was a direct hit.
"Okay, that was badass," Sparrow said as he and Quamar got up, Raptor landing behind them since Dove was airborne. He then opened a portal. "You ready to end this?"
"Not about to risk the chance of Oceanus coming back with more Kraken," Quamar said.
"I don't mind slitting more pirate throats," Raptor said as he held up his talons.
"I still have a score to settle on that ship," Dove said as she whipped a cannon ball into the ocean.
Sparrow nodded as he and his team jumped into the portal or flew in it in Dove's case.
A portal then opened above the Soaring Mistrilian's mast.
Sparrow fell out and ran down the mast before jumping off and stabbing a pirate through the head, softening his sliding landing. A pirate tried to slash him in the back, only for Quamar to dropkick the pirate, jump off him like a springboard and shoot him in the head. When she landed, she used her knife to block a sword aimed at her head before stabbing her attacker in the neck. Raptor slammed onto a large pirate, grabbed him by the head with enough force for his talons to pierce into his brain, and swung the pirate around like he was a club, taking out an entire wall of pirates.
After Raptor threw the pirate away, he, Quamar, and Sparrow jumped into the middle of the ship, surrounded by pirates, but back-to-back. They didn't look intimidated at all.
"MOVE," a pirate went as he stormed through his crewmates. It was the first mate, a hammerhead shark with a sword that looked like a sawfish's snout. The pirate chuckled. "The heir of the Branwen Tribe. I've always wanted to see the man who humiliated my captain, just so I could saw him to pie-" The first mate was interrupted when a whip wrapped around his neck, dragging him away from the crew.
"YOU'RE FIGHT'S WITH ME," Dove yelled as she dragged the first mate onto the helm, which was high and away from the deck where most of the crew was.
Sparrow chuckled before he looked around. "I count about thirty."
"So, ten for each of us, huh? Kinda unfair," Quamar said with a smile.
Raptor smirked. "Yeah. They should have had three hundred crewmates to make it more of a challenge for us."
The three teens looked ready to fight, not at all deterred by the large number of enemies before them.
"SPARROW!"
Before he could react, tentacle wrapped around Sparrow's neck before he was yanked through the crew.
"SPARROW," Quamar cried out as she tried to chase after her love, only to have to jump back when a pirate tried to hit her with a hammer. She growled at the chuckling pirate as she took her stance angrily. "OUT OF MY WAY!"
Sparrow was rushing through pirates, some of them even landing a few hits, making his Aura spark before he was in someone's grasp. When he was lifted, he looked into the hate-filled eyes of David Oceanus. "Do you have any idea, ANY IDEA AT ALL, how valuable that Kraken was to me?!"
Sparrow smirked at the pirate, making him even angrier. Oceanus then threw Sparrow threw the door leading to his quarters. Though Sparrow landed on his feet, the force of the throw was still enough to shatter his Aura. He then looked up towards the approaching pirate, glaring at him.
"Why. Won't. You. Die," Oceanus asked as he drew his sword.
Sparrow smirked as he stood up and drew his last Lightning Blade, somehow knowing it by pure instinct. "Mother never taught me how to die? Everything I know comes from her, after all."
"Ah. The lovely Raven Branwen-a. Once I kill you, her head will be next. With her gone, Anima will be mine to conquer-a. And once it is mine, and my crew becomes even stronger than before, even your mighty father will fall before me."
Sparrow chuckled as he took out his other hilt and clicked it into Revelation. He then drew an Ice Blade. Dual wielding lightning and ice, he took his two-sword stance, smirking at the pirate. "You think you can beat my parents?"
"Aye?"
"Let me tell you something interesting, David. I fought my father, and I lost. BADLY. I couldn't get him to take me seriously at all. Pure brute strength. That's all he used. No magic, no swordsmanship, and certainly no Sword of Destruction. Good news for you is that I have beaten my mother. Bad news for you: I only ever won against her when she was holding back. Moral of the story: I have NEVER beaten either of my parents at their full strength."
"And why should I care about this?"
"Look at how much you're struggling against me." Oceanus's eyes widened in rage. "You're struggling this much against a thirteen-year-old boy. I may be the son of the Bandit Queen and the Grimm King, but I'm still a kid in the end. If you're struggling so much against their kid, what makes you think you can win against the parents?"
Oceanus was shaking in rage. "Damn you, Sparrow BRANWEN!"
Oceanus raised his sword with a roar, charging at Sparrow. Sparrow readied his stance and charged at his enemy. The two mortal foes then clashed, their blades vibrating, not knowing the storm brewing above them.
It was if the very heavens were saying that this would be the final duel between the Bandit Prince and the Devil of the Sea.
The first mate was struggling, choking as the thorns of the Olive Branch were stabbing into his neck before he was flung across the helm's deck. He quickly jumped back to his feet to see Dove elegantly land before him.
He then raised an eyebrow. "A White Winged Faunus? And here I thought we butchered them all."
"So you DO remember my tribe. That makes this easier," she said as she cracked her whip.
The pirate chuckled evilly as he stood up. "We got a lot of money from those wings. A lot of sick people who want to look like angels with those pretty, pretty wings."
"Money?! You butchered my whole family, sliced our wings off, kidnapped the children, for money?!"
"Of course, girl. We're pirates. But don't you try to play the hero here. You're with Branwen, meaning you're a bandit. You're no different from me."
Dove glared at the pirate. "No. It's true that we've stolen, and we've killed. . . But we've NEVER slaughtered. We've only ever stolen from other rival tribes and from the remnants of the old Schnee Dust executives, with the occasional new age Schnee company transport. We've killed other bandits and pirates like you. And at the very least... Sparrow made sure I never killed innocents. I've never killed children. I've never attacked innocent villages. Raven has limits. Thanks to a certain someone, she's gotten addicted to attacking other bandit tribes and criminal organizations because of how much of a challenge it is. Thanks to her, the Branwen Tribe is NOTHING like you. Besides, I'd sooner die..."
Dove tore open her shirt, revealing the jagged scar running down from her shoulder, through her left breast, down to her right hip. "Then be ANYTHING like the bastard who gave me this."
The first mate laughed. "So, I marked you! Only my Sawsnout could make such a work of art! Alright, girl. I see that you are now perfectly and fully ripened. You've grown beautiful, with the whitest wings I have seen yet. Yours will be my greatest trophy from that village yet."
"And your death will be my greatest triumph!"
The first mate charged at Dove, the beautiful Faunus cracking her whip at him. The Shark was able to avoid each strike, save for a scratch to the cheek. But he still got close enough to try and slash Dove. She jumped away to avoid the slash and threw her needles at him. He merely held up his arm, letting the needles pierce his arm.
Before Dove could fly away, the first mate grabbed her whip and yanked it out of her hand. Then, he pointed his sword at her, the blade dropping loose to reveal a barrel. He then fired, hitting Dove pointblank, a massive explosion occurring with enough force to shake the ship.
Dove slammed onto the deck face first, her Aura sputtering. The first mate laughed evilly as he walked up to her, sword in hand. "Was that it? That wasn't much of a challenge," he said as he put his boot on her back, her Aura sputtering again. "At least your wings are undamaged," he said as he gently grabbed and held the wing up, showing off its shining beauty, even on the stormy sea. "I think I might actually keep these. A fine trophy," he said as he raised his sword, ready to swing.
But then, his vision blurred. "W-What," he said as he released the wing, not being able to see Dove's smirk. "What-What is this," he asked as he dropped his sword. "Why am I... so tired?"
"That was close," Dove said as she stood up, her Aura shattering. "Had you not grabbed my wings before my Aura broke, you most certainly would have won."
"What? What did you do?"
Dove sighed. "It's times like this that I'm grateful to have Lady Branwen as not just my chief, but my teacher as well," she said as she turned towards the drowsy pirate. "It is quite convenient, having someone trained in the ways of the Huntsmen as your leader. She can teach you how to unlock your Aura as well, which eventually leads to learning your Semblance."
"Sem... blance?"
Dove spread her beautiful wings as far and wide as she could, making her look like an angel. "Peace. A single touch from just one of my feathers gives you peace of mind, perfect for avoiding Grimm. But to fully grab my entire wing? Let's just say it's an amazing cure for insomnia. Even Lady Raven relies on my wings for sleep."
"N-No," the first mate went as he struggled to stay awake, barely keeping on his feet, with even the rhythmic clicks of Dove's heeled boots sounding like a lullaby.
"In fact, it's thanks to my Semblance and my expertise with my needles," she began as she had an especially long needle slip out of her sleeve, holding it to the first mate's neck. "That I'm known as the best assassin within the entire tribe. The Peaceful Death, I'm called. For all of my victims fall into a sleep-like death," she began as she slowly pierced the needle through the man's neck, puncturing his throat, major arteries, and pressure points. She pushed it all the way through until the needle pierced through the man's neck.
The man, feeling his life quickly drain from his body, staired at Dove. He wanted to at least try to strangle her, but he couldn't feel any strength in his body. His eyelids were also becoming heavy. So heavy that they were beginning to fall. Dove's cold, uncaring expression was the last thing he saw.
And these were the last words he heard: "Be at peace."
Dove slowly and carefully pulled out her needle before stepping to the side, letting the pirate fall face first onto the deck, dead. She looked down at her life-long revenge before hearing the click of a barrel, throwing a needle in the direction.
A scream was heard. "ME EYE! YOU BITCH!"
Dove then picked up her whip and cracked it in the direction of the pirate, wrapping the weapon around his neck. She then yanked her whip, slicing the man's throat, the pirate gurgling as he fell to his knees and faceplanted, dead.
Dove then ran and jumped over the railing, slamming her whip onto the deck and pulling back with enough force to create an explosive shock wave that actually sent some pirates flying, some of them falling overboard.
Little did anyone know that falling into the water was a death sentence, not knowing that the fight aboard the Soaring Mistrilian was attracting Hammerheads, the Grimm already eating the pirates.
When Dove had her whip back in her hand, she felt the presence of a pirate behind her, ready to attack. However, Quamar dropkicked the pirate before he could do anything, shooting the pirate before standing back-to-back with Dove. "Nice of you to join us. Finished your business?"
"Yes. I did."
"GOOD TO HEAR!" The women looked to see Raptor spinning two pirates around by their head before throwing them like ragdolls. "Now you can help us deal with these idiots!"
"That's why I'm here," she said with a smile as she cracked her whip.
Raptor then jumped back to join the girls, the three looking ready to continue their battle.
That was until the ship began to rock.
Thunder roared, lightning crashed, and the clang of blades blasted loudly within the Captain's Quarters. Everyone knew that whatever was happening in there was even more brutal than the battle outside.
After all, their fight was causing a maelstrom.
Sparrow's two swords clashed against Oceanus's sword and claw. Sparrow was even in a stalemate for a moment, one of his swords pushing against Oceanus's while his claw held onto the other sword, ignoring the ice spearing over the claw. Oceanus's beard then began to stand up, pointing at Sparrow. He raised an eyebrow before ice spikes formed on the tips of the tentacles.
"WHOA," Sparrow went as he bent back avoid the jabbing tentacles, only for some to stab just below his collar bone, making him grunt in pain. However, Sparrow threw caution to the wind and used both of his legs to high kick Oceanus in the chin, ripping the tentacles out of his chest, but falling hard on his back. Still, Sparrow jumped onto his feet before spinning his swords and slashing Oceanus with enough force to smash him against the wall. Sparrow then charged and stabbed towards the wall.
His eyes widened. "WHAT?!"
Sparrow had only stabbed the wall, Oceanus nowhere in sight.
Sparrow tried to take out his swords, but when he felt how stuck they were, he just disconnected them. As soon as he clicked one back into Revelation, his yelled out in pain. He looked to see a claw grabbing his ankle... the claw coming from the floor.
Sparrow was then ripped into the lower level before he was slammed onto the ground by a chuckling Oceanus. "Did you forget, boy? I have that power now, too, thanks to God."
Sparrow groaned as he got onto his hands and knees, coughing up blood.
"A marvelous power, this Aura and Semblance-a. I call my Semblance Part of the Ship-a. I can go wherever I please on the Soaring Mistrilian, or any ship for that matter. There is nowhere to hide from me on the open seas, boy."
Sparrow tried to stand up, only to buckle and fall on one knee.
Oceanus chuckles at that. "How tragic-a. Without Aura, you're just a mere child-a. Look at you. Tired, battered, bloody, just on the verge of death-a."
Oceanus's smile went away when Sparrow chuckled. "A mere child? If that's the case, what does that say about you, old man," Sparrow asked as he stood on his two feet, looking over his shoulder towards Oceanus. "You're right. I'm tired. No. I'm fucking exhausted. But can you blame me? I fought an entire swarm of Black Plague on your ship, fought you on that same ship, killed your Kraken, took out a good number of your crew, and fought you again. I've been fighting like crazy, while you were hiding behind everything. Look at you, only able to take me on at my weakest."
Oceanus growled.
"And look at that, I'm running low on Dust Blades since I've been using them on your crew and pets. I've got plenty of Fire Blades, though," he said as he drew a blade, clicking in his second hilt. "Not much good it'll do on a Sea Faunus, though. Still, you must be VERY proud, taking down an exhausted thirteen-year-old," he said as he took out his second blade. "And you really think you can beat my mother, let alone my father? Keep dreaming."
"SPARROW!" When Oceanus screamed his name, Thulhu's appeared out of the shadows of the lower deck, surrounding the Bandit Prince.
He looked around and chuckled. "Need all this just to beat me? There's no way you can beat my dad." He then connected his hilts by their ends, clicking them together to make a double-bladed sword. He then spun the blade expertly before taking his stance. "Not like I'll give you the chance."
Oceanus growled. "KILL HIM!"
The Thulhu roared as they charged at Sparrow.
He began to spin his sword around, the blades igniting with each slash. He spun the blade at such speeds that he made actual flame shields that burned the Grimm. He then jumped to avoid Oceanus's claw, only to stab his sword into it, making the Faunus yell. "NOT FALLING FOR THAT AGAIN," Sparrow yelled as he disconnected the sword and stabbed a Thulhu behind him, which happened to be the last one.
Oceanus jumped out of the floor with a roar as he wildly swung at Sparrow. Or it looked wild.
For when Sparrow deflected a particularly wild swing, he yelled out in pain after Oceanus clamped down just above his hip, crushing his lower abdomen to the point it began to tear, blood seeping out.
Yet, Sparrow gritted his teeth, grabbed Oceanus's claw, and kicked him in the groin. Even with Aura, a kick to the jewels hurts enough to stun you long enough.
For Sparrow, that was enough to pry Oceanus's claw off of his hip, click the blade off the hilt, and ignite it with a swing of the hilt. Sparrow then ran and jumped over a barrel.
When Oceanus recovered, he looked towards his claw to see why he heard a hissing sound. "Aw, dam-"
BOOM
Oceanus was sent skidding into a pillar, his Aura shattering.
"That looked like it hurt."
Oceanus looked up with a glare towards a bloody yet smirking Sparrow, his empty hilt in his Revelation. Oceanus's eyes filled with hatred and rage. "SPARROW BRANWEN," he yelled as he lunged at the bandit.
Sparrow timed it just right and deflected Oceanus's swing. He then used Revelation to block the claw's grab and held it once more, drawing another Fire Dust Blade. Then, with all his strength, he slashed the claw arm off of Oceanus.
The Faunus screamed in agony as black blood spewed from his stump, Sparrow taking back his Revelation as he ran up the stairs. He then turned back towards the pirate. "You might want to get out of here, Oceanus!" He then ran back up the stairs.
Oceanus glared towards Sparrow when he heard the hissing again. He looked to see that one of Sparrow's Fire Blades was stuck into a barrel... full of gunpowder... next to a stack of cannon balls.
Oceanus's mouth quivered in rage. "Damn you, Sparrow. Branwen!" The Blade then exploded, causing a chain reaction. "AAAAAARRRRCCC!" He screamed the Arc name as he was engulfed in flames.
Sparrow ran up the stairs, only to be sent flying by the explosion, falling right in front of Quamar. "SPARROW!"
The ship began to explode, some of the crew in the blast radius.
Raptor then ran up and held Sparrow over his shoulder. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!"
"TALK LATER! ROWBOAT," Sparrow ordered as he pointed at one of the few intact escape vessels.
A pirate tried to get to it, only to have his face whipped off by Dove. "GET ON!"
The team then got into the boat, Raptor slicing the ropes off to have them fall into the water just as a big, fiery explosion almost engulfed them. As soon as they hit the water, Dove flapped her wings as hard as she could to get them away from the exploding ship. It worked for a bit. But then the largest explosion yet sent the boat hurdling into the sea like it was shot out of a slingshot. When they landed, they all looked to see the Soaring Mistrilian explode into a glorious, fiery inferno.
As they watched the blazing spectacle, they could all only think the same thing:
'It's over. We won.'
The four watched as the Soaring Mistrilian began to sink, all of them sighing in relief.
"Should we be worried about the Hammerheads," Dove asked.
The ship exploded once more, Hammerhead Grimm flying from the impact, turning into smoke in midair, fins seen rushing away.
"That answers that," Raptor said.
Another explosion occurred, but something flying towards them.
"Hm? Whoa, whoa, WHOA," Sparrow went before catching a barrel.
"Nice catch," Quamar said.
"Hot, hot, hot," Sparrow went before putting the barrel in the water. After it sizzled, he opened it to reveal it was full of Silver Dust. Sparrow whistled. "Jackpot."
"Think the Mistrilian had any more shiny stones in its wooden walls," Raptor asked.
"Well, we might be able to find out," Quamar said.
"What do you mean," Sparrow asked as he looked at his fiancée. She merely pointed towards the ship, everyone looking to see crates, barrels, and even some chests floating out into the open waters.
"Wow. I'm more impressed they survived an exploding ship," Raptor said as the Mistrilian finally began to sink beneath the blue waters, black smoke being the only indicator it was there.
"Could be a lot of valuables just floating out there," Dove said. "It's going to be hard to collect all of it, though."
"Oh, please. Collecting all that is child's play."
"Pfft. Easy for you to say. We're all exhausted. I can't use my Semblance. And without me or Quamar back at camp, you can't open your own portal to-" Sparrow then jolted. The rest of his team also stiffened. All four then rigidly turned around.
There she was, nonchalantly flying above the water, eyes ablaze despite the unenthusiastic look on her face and arms crossed under her breasts.
"M-Mom."
"Chieftain," the other three went as they bowed in respect out of habit.
"Um. . . Hi. . . How did you know we were out here?"
Raven raised an eyebrow before pointing at the smoke. "Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea how loud that was? And did you really think I wouldn't notice how four of my best warriors were not at camp? But, knowing you, I decided to only have the portal open about a mile away from you and see what you were up to. Sparrow?"
"Y-Yeah?"
"As a chieftain, I am proud of you. You lead your team in a successful mission against enemy pirates that easily posed a threat against the tribe. Not one member of your team was slain. Injured, yes, but still alive. Not only did you destroy the enemy's base of operations, but you also killed their leader, dispatched of nearly the entire crew, and even claimed their riches, which will be of great value to the tribe. You've proven your worth and skill as both a leader and a warrior."
"Oh. Thanks, mo-" He cleared his throat. "Thank you, Chieftain."
"However, as your teacher, I must say I'm disappointed in the amount of damage you took. You ALL took. Two of you are in the red in terms of Aura, while two of you had your Aura's totally shattered. If that wasn't enough, Sparrow, you and Quamar allowed your weapons to take heavy damage. Need I remind you how expensive Dust Blades are, boy?"
"N-No, ma'am."
She then looked at Quamar. "I-I'll do better, Lady Raven."
"You all are in need of more training. You've yet to reach your full potential."
"Yes, ma'am."
"Still, as your teacher, I am proud of what you all have accomplished."
They smiled. "Thank you, Lady Branwen," they all said, even Sparrow.
"Now..." she started with her eyes closed.
Sparrow looked up in surprise, not thinking his mom had anything else to say.
"As your mother," she began with a twitching eyebrow.
Sparrow shuttered. "Uh-oh."
Raven punched Sparrow over the head. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAS?! SEEING MY SON SO CLOSE TO DANGER?! WHEN YOUR SISTER WAS YOUR AGE, SHE DIDN'T GET INTO NEARLY THIS MUCH DANGER! I WANTED TO JUMP IN TO SAVE YOU SO MANY TIMES, ONLY FOR YOU TO IMPRESS ME! DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE BOTH MOTHERLY PARANOIA AND PARENTAL PRIDE WELLING INSIDE YOU AT THE SAME TIME?! IT'S SO BEYOND COMPLEX! I'M TORN BETWEEN BEING PROUD AND BEING FURIOUS!"
"I prefer the proud aspect," Sparrow said as he rubbed his head.
"I'm sure you do. Now, collect the loot before it floats to far or starts sinking. That's your punishment, plus extra training drills. . . and kitchen duty," Raven said with a smirk.
"AW, COME ON," Raptor went.
"Can't we just serve you your tea for the next month like last time," Quamar pleaded.
"Anything but kitchen duty, Lady Raven," Dove pleaded.
"Guys?" They looked at a deflated Sparrow. "You're just making it better for her." They also deflated, knowing he was right.
Raven smirked before she glared at the smoke.
It began to swirl, getting everyone's attention. The smoke then took a familiar form... to Jaune it would be, anyway.
HM, ANOTHER FAILED CHOSEN. MORTALS ARE SO DISAPPOINTING, God of Darkness said.
"Sorry your lacky couldn't impress you," Raven said fearlessly towards the god.
YOU MORTALS HAVEN'T CHANGED, I SEE. SHOWING SUCH BLATANT DISRESPECT TOWARDS YOUR CREATOR.
"So, that's him, huh," Raptor said.
"One of the two brothers," Dove said.
"The bastard my old man is up against," Sparrow said.
Quamar just stared, a cold sweat running down her cheek.
All four had the same thought: 'No way could we take that on,' they all thought in fear, all of them sensing how outmatched they were by just looking at the avatar of the god.
Darkness then looked at Sparrow. SO, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO HAS MY POWER FLOWING THROUGH YOU. HM, YOU HAVE POTENTIAL, BUT MUCH LIKE YOUR SIBLINGS, IT IS BURIED. WHAT A WASTE.
"Sorry to disappoint you, grandpa," Sparrow said, trying to look brave, but was terrified in the inside.
YES. YOU HUMANS TEND TO DO THAT QUITE OFTEN. AND TO THINK IT ALL STARTED WITH YOUR PROGENITOR, SALEM ARC. He then looked at Raven. AND TO THINK THAT FOOL OZMA HAS THE GALL TO SPREAD THE GIFT I TOOK AWAY. HOW VEXING.
"You want it back? It will cost you. I like this power and have no intention of giving it back without a fight," Raven said.
A FIGHT. INTERESTING CHOICE OF WORDS. Raven glared at the avatar for that. THERE IS A WAR COMING TO MY PLANET, RAVEN BRANWEN. A WAR THAT YOUR PRECIOUS TRIBE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO AVOID, NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY. I SUGGEST YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIDE TO BE ON WHEN THE WAR COMES. IF YOU WISH TO JOIN ME, THERE IS AN EASY SOLUTION. He pointed at Sparrow. KILL THE MEMBER OF THE ARC BLOODLINE, AND YOUR TRIBE WILL BE SPARED.
The team, except Sparrow, was shocked. Raven had her head down. "So, to protect my tribe, I have to sacrifice my son to you, is that it?"
PRECISELY.
Raven smirked. "That easy, huh? Well, here's my answer." She blasted lightning through the avatar's chest, Raven glaring hatefully at the avatar. "Threatening my tribe is one thing, BUT MY SON?! Very well. If it's a war you want, it's a war you'll get. From this day forward, the Branwen Tribe is now the enemy of the God of Darkness!"
"HELL YEAH, WE ARE," Sparrow's team went, making Sparrow blink.
HM, DISAPPOINTING. . . BUT NOT UNEXPECTED, Darkness said as his avatar faded away. WE WILL MEET AGAIN, SPRING MAIDEN, he said as he vanished completely.
"And when we do, I'll be ready," Raven said with a glare.
Sparrow blinked. "Huh. I honestly thought you would sacrifice me." Everyone looked at him. "I mean, if it's for the safety of the tribe, I would have gladly given my life, you know."
Raven floated down and punched Sparrow over the head again. "Ow."
"You still have so much to learn, boy," Raven said angrily. She then sighed. "Alright, get to scavenging.
"Yes, ma'am," they all went as they dove into the water.
"Each of you needs to collect at least ten caches of valuables. Except you, Sparrow. You need to collect every last piece you find. If I find even one coin, one shard of dust, or one single grape missing, that will be an extra day of cleaning duty!"
"WHY ME?!"
"Because I say so!"
"You only have yourself to blame, Sparrow," Raptor said as he was pushing a barrel.
"You should have known better," Quamar pouted as she was swimming with a chest.
"You really messed up this time, leader," Dove said as she was carrying a crate.
"WHAT DID I DO," Sparrow asked before he rolled his eyes and swam towards a farther off barrel.
Raven sighed as she shook her head. 'How can my son be both a genius and an idiot,' she thought to herself. She then looked up towards the clearing, night sky.
'I won't let anything happen to my family. This time, I will gladly fight against god to keep it safe,' Raven thought. 'Which means, I'm totally on your side, hero,' she thought with a smile, Jaune appearing in the night sky with a smile.
And that's the end of the Sparrow arc. This one, anyway.
A/N: You read that right. This isn't Sparrow's last adventure. I have more plans for the Bandit Prince, as well as a certain princess in a future special.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this two-part special involving Jaune's oldest son. Next week, we go back to daddy dearest himself, starting the Atlantica Arc. Hope you all like sea food.
Until next time.
