Ianto was relieved that the tests were all negative and sent word to the others waiting at home that they had the first good news back. He was heartened by the responses as he then told them three more days and a second negative test would have them coming home.

Surprisingly Jack was the most antsy, wanting to get back home and Ianto knew the Cabin Fever was hitting him hardest of all. This man could not sit still. Reading a book was a chore and apart from knitting, he did not really have an inside hobby that did not include his husband. This is when Ianto remembered the knitting bag.

Hawk had been enthralled when Jack first got out the knitting needles and settled to knit something to try to counteract the itchies. Ianto was now watching as Jack very tenderly and gently taught the mad one how to knit. It was actually really cute to see as the oversized needles and the wool were knitted into something that resembled… ah… I don't know what. The colour was bright green and it missed a stitch now and then and at some stage he had turned the entire thing around, then it started to become opposite… I don't know. He was pleased with it and Jack had gently taken it and turned it the right way again so in time the reversed strip didn't look too bed.

Shay did not care. Apparently Shay was a Jenga nutta. Who would have thought, the tiny tot was a natural. Choosing the piece of wood to slide out of the tower with a little look of concentration that had Jack taking many photos with gushing glee. Jack had ordered the large model online, so when they got home he could try Shay with a Jenga model the same size as the tot. Ianto had visions of it falling and crushing their little bub but said nothing as he knew Jack would throw himself under a bus before he let one of their babies ever get hurt.

Hawk was looking forward to his own bed and was telling anyone that would listen that he and Ringo missed a REAL bed like the exact same model in the children's area was not as good as his one at home. Well… the one at home did now have a car built around it so there was that. And he did miss all the kitties, Fang not wanting to join anything that did not involve a patch of sun.

At least Jack didn't have his tools with him to fix the problem, the knitting doing the job for now.

This left Ianto.

Apart from rebuilding the Jenga tower for Shay now and then, he had nothing to do. Didn't feel like painting, cooked so much they were getting chunky and even Jack had commented on it… yeah.. Jack had said he was full. Can ya believe it?

All the books were read and all the chores done.

Ianto stood on the back patio looking out over the water without a mission to do. No chore to do. No book to read. Nothing needed of him.

"TADDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYYY"

Ianto swung to find Hawk in the doorway "Taddy? I need a jelly ice-cream thingeeeee."

Ianto was rushing for the fridge and the bowl of jelly to smash and mix with some half melted ice-cream, just the way Hawk wants it.

"Me too" Jack called out as he sat trying to unknot some wool.

"Me whooo"

"OK Shay, you too darling" Ianto said with glee.

"Sprinkles?"

"YEAHHHHHHH"
