His heartbeat raced as Percy ran through the woods of the abandoned camp; sweat dripping down his back mingling with the blood from the wound that he'd just received. If anyone had told him at the beginning of the summer that he'd not only be at a summer camp (he wasn't exactly an outdoorsman) but that he'd also be chased by a killer maniac around the camp, he would have laughed right in their face. But as he looked over his shoulder and caught sight of the hulking form lumbering towards him with the chainsaw Percy no longer felt like laughing.

"I'm sure we can discuss this," he said, racing forward still not looking away from his attacker as he stalked nearer. "Perhaps I can offer you money in exchange for my life?"

The masked killer cocked his or her head to the side. Percy wasn't entirely what the gender of the being under the mask was. But he was pretty sure that he/she/it must be supernatural in origin. They had, after all, picked up a car and flung it after Percy as he raced towards the woods earlier that evening.

"Say something!" he demanded, feeling his heart pound in his ears. "Say something, Merlin damn you!"

The killer's head went from being cocked to one side to being cocked to the other side. The pale blue eyes behind the mask were deep in thought. For a second Percy thought that he was going to hear the killer's voice. He was going to be able to get the killer's voice on the Muggle recording device he'd taken from his father's store of Muggle items. But then the killer merely shook his or her or it or their head and lumber forward once more.

Without Percy realizing what was happening the ground started to slump downward. Before he do anything to stop himself or even slow his momentum down Percy found himself rolling down a hill he hadn't seen coming up on him at high speed.

Crunch!

Percy tried to bite down upon the scream that had bubbled up from his lungs as the pain spread of his legs all the way up to his head. If he knew any better he'd say that he had broken his leg. But he was no Healer. But one didn't need to be a Healer to know that much. Especially considering how he couldn't put weight upon the leg.

"Please," he pleaded, looking up at the lumbering figure as it drew nearer and nearer to him. Percy tried as best as he could to drag himself backward with his hands but the pain bloomed even larger with every movement he made. "Please, you don't have to do this."

The killer wordlessly moved forward not seeming to have heard or even acknowledged Percy's pleas for mercy. Kneeling down next to their prey the killer raised the chainsaw to strike.

Percy shook wordlessly as his hope of making it out of this encounter unharmed looked like they were vanishing. He reached forwards as the chainsaw plunged downward into his stomach. A gasp of pain left him as he realized the killer's mask had come away in his hand. He looked upon the face of the person he'd once considered a friend in shock and sadness.

"It's you?" he asked, feeling the coldness of death close in around him. "Why…."

Luna Lovegood had always been an early riser as long as she could remember. But something seemed really rather strange around camp today. The blue skies and trilling birds did nothing to extinguish the feeling of wrongness about the world.

Then out of nowhere, a shrill scream came from the perimeter of the forest. It was one of Luna's best friends, Ginny Weasley, she'd know that voice anywhere. But why would Ginny be screaming?

Luna raced towards the sound of her friend's scream and found something she would never be unable to unsee. No matter how hard she tried. Ginny was cradling the dead body of her older brother and head camp counselor Percy. But who would want to kill him? That was the question that would keep nagging in her mind for the rest of day.

I hope you all enjoyed Camp Hogwarts as much as I enjoyed writing it. Please let me know if I should continue and expand upon this story.
