Chapter 1: Kings of Atlantis

Hey, sorry guys for not posting! I haven't gotten any inspiration lately. This story is a fanfiction of a old youtuber's series called Atlantis Adventures by TheAtlanticCraft. This series is from 2017, their content may gotten better, off of your own opinion. Please check them out, this was made by me and my ex-friend! The characters are made human and we made up a lot of OCs in this, only about 2-4 people in this are real.

Thanks for reading this! I'll try to update this weekly, but if I don't I hit a writer's block :)

Waking up one morning to a knock at the door and a million text messages ringing up on my phone wasn't what I was expecting that morning. I hurried to get to the door after I grabbed my phone.

I answered the door and saw my little brother with excitement on his face.

"Cody!" My brother exclaimed. "Have you heard?"

"Heard what, Joe?" I rubbed the sleepiness out of my eyes.

"Atlantis!" Joe exclaimed.

"What do you mean, Atlantis?" I finally looked at my messages and I saw a text message that caught my eye.

Cody, have you checked your mail yet? I know it's early for mail but there's something really important in the mail!

That was from Joe at 5 am this morning, but why was he up at 5 am?

I walked past Joe and went to my mailbox and grabbed the mail, he was right, there was a letter in there. The envelope was sea green with a white wax seal that was shaped as a seashell and embedded in the seashell was a trident. I opened the envelope and pulled out a letter that smelled like the sea.

Dear Cody,

It took us a long time to find you and your brother. We have some news, well first we should tell you who we are. We are your father's servants, we deliver important news to his people.

The news is that your father is dead and that now you're in line for being King of Atlantis next. We hope to see you soon.

To become King, you have to come to Atlantis and go to the palace for the ceremony, and since you, Cody, are the oldest you are 1st to become King.

"Joe, have you seen the letter we got?" I asked carefully.

"Um, yes, why?" Joe wondered.

"Did you read why we have to go to Atlantis?" I asked.

"No, well kinda," Joe scratched the back of his head.

"Our father is dead, Joe, and we have to become kings of Atlantis," I told him.
