After Lancex had left the med bay, Arcee went to Optimus' office to make her report, as she did with every Autobot so that Prime could decide if the bot was ready to fight or not. "You have the medical report on Lancex I presume" Optimus stated, seeing that Arcee had entered his office.

"Yes, he is in excellent condition, however, there is something you should know" Arcee revealed.

"What is it?" Prime asked, worried about his son.

"The rare gn drive that he has can be a problem and he has no transformation cog" Arcee revealed.

"Other bots have lost their cogs. It's not the end of the world. What is the problem with the gn drive?"

"It's almost guaranteed that should he bond, he will carry sparklings" Arcee explained. "Multiples each and every time." Optimus nodded and thanked her for the update. Arcee soon left, and once she was gone, Optimus was worried. He didn't want happened to him to happen to Lancex. Optimus could only hope this was a good thing, but right now he wasn't so sure.

Meanwhile, Landmine headed to find flyers Jetfire and Mirage. Landmine felt like he needed to speak with them, though why he wasn't quite sure. He soon found them, working on the assigned task. "Hey, can I talk with you two?" Landmine asked, seeing no one else around.

"Sure" Jetfire answered, though Mirage was a little hesitant, as Landmine hadn't been the most accepting bot since Mirage had left the cons.

Landmine noticed and began to feel bad. "I'm sorry, Mirage, for my less than stellar acceptance of you. I've seen cons try to go straight before and then abandon the Autobots in time of need. I wasn't sure if you would do the same, and so I was wary of your intentions in joining us. That being said, I am glad to have another strong warrior join us, in both you and Lancex. Speaking of Lancex.." Landmine said, blushing after the last part.

Mirage and Jetfire took notice. "Does your spark long for him too?" Mirage asked, finally realizing that Landmine had accepted the bot.

"Yes, but what do you mean by 'too'?" Landmine asked, a bit caught off guard.

"Our sparks seem to yearn for him as well" Jetfire explained. "But he did say he was looking for three…maybe we are all meant to be with him?" The other two nodded and got back to work, as they discussed ways that they could get closer to Lancex without pushing the bot too far.

Meanwhile, Lancex was in a deep protected room, practicing with all the weapons he had – his sword, his gun, his optic, and several other melee weapons he had either been fitted with or had picked up while with the Autobots. He knew he needed to be a skilled warrior to even be seen on par with many of these brave bots who had been fighting the cons and Unicron for millennia. But after practicing with all the weaponry, he put it away and then thought back to meeting Landmine, Jetfire, and Mirage that morning. He felt that their sparks were reacting to him and his presence, but he wasn't sure if it was meant to be as he had been burned before. He hoped it was right or he would be crushed.

Just then, all bots had to stop what they were doing, as Megatron had chosen right then and there to attack citadel again. "All bots top side, we are under con attack" Optimus commanded over the loud speakers in the citadel. Little did he know that this time, Megatron was going to catch what he was seeking.
