In the ORC's very own club room Rias sits at her desk while looking at the little white-haired girl in front of her, aka Koneko. "So Zato was asked out by a fallen angel but he turned her down. Is that correct?" Rias asks
"Pretty much," Koneko tells the redhead
"Do you think it's possible that he already knew she was a fallen angel?" Akeno chimes in as Rias rubs her chin.
"It's a possibility, but from what Koneko says it sounds like he just honestly didn't want to date her. Though it's impossible to tell unless we ask him directly." Rias explains
"Well, that, unfortunately, can't happen today," Kiba says as he enters the club room. "I'm sorry president but it appears Zato isn't in school today. I confirmed it with the help of Sona before I returned." Kiba apologizes
"It's out of your control Kiba. We'll just have to talk to Zato the next time we see him." Rias tells her friends as she looks out the window wondering where Zato is.
Within the shopping district, Zato walks down the street."This is nice. A nice peaceful day with nothing to get on my nerves." Zato states as he walks past a cafe with a girl with strange brown hair that looked like there are wings sprouting from her head. Honestly, Zato couldn't tell if it was actually her hair or one of those headbands with the addon connected to it. Her brown eyes scan every person that walks past and most people at least look at her either due to her weird choice of hairstyle or red and white maid dress with black spiky shoulder pads and small demon-like wings coming from her back. Suddenly her eyes narrow onto Zato and he smiles before quickly walking over to him and holding out her hand. In her hand is a flyer she had been giving to anyone who had stopped to talk to her or those who just took one while passing by.
"Hey, there why don't you take this flyer. You see we'll grant your greatest desire." The girl cheers while trying to hand Zato a flyer. Looking down at it Zato sees some serious demonic implication. He looks back up at the girl with a questionable look on his face.
"Sorry girly but I don't have any desires you can fulfill," Zato says as he walks past the girl while gently pushing the hand extending the flyer back toward the girl.
Continuing down the street Zato looks over his shoulder only to see normal people going about their day. While Zato could tell he was being watched. Not wanting whoever is watching him to know he's caught on, Zato just goes about his day as if he was completely oblivious.
His day just consisted of sitting at a local cafe and lessening to his music via his phone while reading his favorite manga. He enjoys the simple things in life, actually, if his classmates would make the effort to get to know him they'd learn fighting doesn't even reach the top three of the things he loves to do. The ranking is Cloud gazing, sleeping, reading, music, and then fighting.
Once he's finished at the cafe Zato walks out before taking a stroll through the park. While walking Zato notices that he's the only person there, or is he. Stopping and standing in place Zato's gaze locks on the fountain located at the center of the park, the fountain that stands right in front of him.
"Come on out, I know you're there," Zato tells whoever's been tailing him all day.
"Oh, so you noticed me. I'm impressed, I didn't expect this much from a human." Yuuma laughs as Zato just looks at her blankly
"There a reason, you're following me? Or are ya just some weirdo who can't take no for an answer?" Zato asks with his hands in his pockets. Yuuma smiles as she walks toward Zato with a sexual sway in her hips.
"You really don't want me? Most guys would die for someone as beautiful as me." Yuuma says as she presses herself against Zato. The white hair delinquent only looks down at her and sighs while lightly pushing her off him.
"I want absolutely nothing to do with you, so please do me a favor and just fuck off," Zato says as Yuuma smirks while looking toward the ground.
"Ya know I like a man with your type of attitude, it's a shame things had to turn out like this. Under different circumstances maybe there could have been something between you and me." Zato was about to say something but he notices a flicker of light in Yuuma's hand and then a flash of light fills the imminent area. As the light fades Yuuma's eyes widen with a mixture of shock mild fear. You see in Yuuma's hand is a spear made of bright pink light, but instead of stabbing Zato like it's supposed to the boy seems totally unaffected.
Looking down Yuuma sees that the spot where Zato would have been stabbed is not pitch black and her spear is seemingly inside of that black spot. Seeing this Zato grits his teeth and his face goes from bored to angry. Zato swings his arm but Yuuma jumps back and as she does a pair of black angel wings erupt from her back as they do her once normal attire changes to something akin to a leather bikini that also includes shoulder guards, gloves that run up her entire arm, and leather boots that go all the way up her legs. Looking down at her spear the part that went into that spot is missing and so she dispels her weapon.
"Dammit, don't just show up on your own!" Zato shouts as the black spot begins to fade away replaced by the normal color of his cloth. "I've already refused your power so get lost!" Zato shouts as suddenly he's seemingly told to look up and notices Yuuma's new form. "Looks like my hunch was right, your presence was way too weird to belong to a human," Zato says while cracking his back and stretching his arms.
"So you were already aware of the supernatural," Yuuma says as she meets Zato's eyes.
"Grew up around, would be strange if I didn't notice. Anyway, let's cut the shit." Zato cracks his neck as he begins to slowly walk toward Yuuma. "You just tried to kill me, a very poor decision. Made even worse for you since you didn't succeed." Zato explains as he stops about ten feet away from Yuuma. Cracking his knuckles he glares at Yuuma, his red eyes practically glowing. "I can't let this slide, so I'm gonna cave your face in." Zato says with an intimidating tone. Yuuma laughs at this notion as she summons another spear.
"You know a bit about the supernatural and your sacred gear, so what!?" Yuuma exclaims arrogantly. "You caught me by surprise a simple trick, that's all it was!" Yuuma shouts
"Call it whatever you want, doesn't change a thing. Been a while since I fought semi-seriously, might as well get the bones loss." Zato says as Yuuma throws her spear at him but the young man easily dodges to the side before appearing before Yuuma fist reeled back. Seeing this Yuuma jumps back using her wings to push herself even further away. Zato's eyes focus on Yuuma's wings. "Those wings give her better maneuverability and if she takes to the sky it'll be a problem. I don't really have any long-ranged attacks." Zato tells himself. "I'll just have to keep her on the ground." With that thought, Zato quickly closes the gap between Yuuma and himself and gets ready for his second attack.
"Fool! You're so easy to read!" Yuuma could tell Zato was going for an uppercut so she moved her head back to dodge it but to her surprise what hits her is a right hook. Then she sees Zato going for the left hook so she moves to the right but instead is hit with a powerful uppercut. "What the hell is this!?" Yuuma shots as she dodges a kick by taking to the air but her head hits a tree that was behind her. Zato smirks at this since his plan was to get her in a position where even if she did take off she wouldn't be able to go very high. "Common misdirection, any fighter worth their shit would have noticed after the first strike," Zato explains as he moves closer but Yuuma summons spears to both her hands and swings them both at Zato, attempting to take his head off.
Zato quickly ducks under the attack and once the attack passes a large cut appears across Yuuma's stomach. It's not very deep but Yuuma still looks at it with wide eyes, as drops of blood slowly move through the air. "What? I didn't even see him do anything." Yuuma tells herself as she see Zato's fist where her cut ends with its middle knuckle slightly out and with a bit of blood on it.

Looking up Yuuma sees Zato with his fist back and red eyes glowing brightly. "Too bad, my muscles were just starting to warm up." Zato says but before he can throw his punch his head quickly turns to his right as his body is seemingly pulled back by some invisible force. Due to that a light spear that was thrown at him just nearly misses him/ "There's another one? They must have just arrived, I didn't sense their presence. That or I'm just rusty." Zato says as he looks down at himself. "And this damn thing, can't it tell I want nothing to do with it." Zato says to himself as other fallen angel walks out of the trees. He's a shady-looking man wearing a long grey trance coat, black pants, and a black fedora. The scraping sound fills the air as Zato notices the fallen is dragging a light blue spear of light across the ground.
"You were taking longer than you should have so I came to check up on you Raynare." The shady fallen angel says as Yuuma now truly known as Raynare looks at him. "To think a human could wound you so. Stay back I'll finish him off."
"No, this one is stronger than he appears Dohnaseek. Not to mention he's yet to truly use his sacred gear. We'll retreat for not, I will not risk our plans on one boy." Raynare says as Dohnaseek grunts before turning away from Zato, black wings sprouting from his back.
"You got lucky this time boy, but next time you meet any of us you'll be dead," Dohnaseek exclaims as the two take to the skies before fading away.
Standing up straight Zato looks in the direction his assents went and just shakes his head. "Well damn, no way this doesn't come back later. Ah, and just when I was starting to enjoy a somewhat quiet life," Zato complains with a wave of his hand as he walks away from the scene. Unbenousted to him a small circular bat-like creature emerges from behind a tree, having witnessed the entire scene.
