The next day, Lancex roused. He wasn't sure where he was at first, but then, once he onlined his systems a bit more, he recognized bot snuggled up to him. It was Landmine. Neither Jetfire nor Mirage were there, but Lancex seemed okay with that, thinking that they had given Landmine time this time. But seeing that Lancex's tanks were running on empty, the bot headed towards the rec room to get some energon and try to think about what exactly was going on.

Meanwhile, seemingly at the exact same time, Optimus and Dirt boss woke up in the Prime's berth, snuggled closely together. Dirt Boss obviously blushed, while Optimus did as well, but it was much more hidden thanks to the battle mask that Optimus usually kept up over his face. The two carefully pushed the other bot as they both needed to think. It felt nice, but was this what their sparks really wanted? Neither knew for sure. But seeing as they were bot famished, they headed for the rec room, as they had finished all the cubes Optimus had in his quarters.

Back with Landmine, the bot soon roused and realized that Lancex was no longer in the berth. Landmine blushes, stretches, and releases an exhaust fume before he gets his aft up out of the berth. And once out of the berth, he also headed for the rec room for energon and hoping it was where Lancex had gone.

In the rec room, Lancex was reading his newest acquired book on runes and seals, trying to see if there were any new ones he didn't know yet. As he read his book, not only did Landmine enter the rec room, but Optimus entered with Dirt Boss in tow as well. Lancex was too busy reading to see the three at first, as he was trying to discern what rune was on a card he had picked up and what it meant.

Optimus, seeing his son, headed over, thinking nothing of it. Optimus was very curious about this stuff his son was working on, as Optimus didn't understand it exactly. And as Optimus headed over, Jetfire and Mirage entered the rec room as well. It didn't take long before all five, Optimus; Landmine; Mirage; Jetfire; and Dirt Boss, sat at the table with Lancex. They were all curious what he was working on.

"I am working on a way to end the war for good" Lancex stated.

"With cards?" Optimus asked, not understanding how much runes could have.

"These cards are much more powerful than you realize. They will do the job, once I find the right ones" Lancex answered. The other five nodded. "In fact, I am hoping to trap Unicron on a card before I burn it." Optimus and the others were stunned as well as hopeful. Optimus could hoped the war could end without too much more loss of energon and life, and he hoped someone, anyone had an answer. Maybe, just maybe, Lancex did.
