Fireside Affair - Chapter 4 - Revelations
\/\/\/

"What kept you, Bells?" Said Charlie, reading a newspaper next to an empty plate. Bella had clearly been gone a lot longer than intended.
"Oh, Uh." She stuttered, not being sure whether to tell the truth as she slipped her boots off.
"I was... just spending time with Jake." Bella lied.

There was no reason not to tell Charlie the truth. That she had spent time with Embry. Obviously not that he went down on her for almost an hour. But it would be fine to tell him that they hung out. Bella wasn't sure why she didn't. Maybe Charlie would have asked questions that she couldn't answer?

"Oh that's nice, Jake's a good kid. Probably a good friend to have." Charlie said.
"Yeah, I think he is." Bella agreed as she walked up the stairs.
"You're not having dinner, Bells?" Charlie yelled
"No thanks, not hungry!" She yelled back before she closed the bathroom door.

Lying to Charlie didn't feel good, she thought as she turned on the hot shower and got undressed. Her lacy bra that she had only put back on ten minutes ago hit the floor.

Her body looked good in the mirror. She didn't often notice the pleasant curves of her breast, hips and butt. Her nipples looked swollen from Embry sucking on them. She thought her clitoris would probably look just as swollen. It felt well loved.

She was surprised at the form of his body. He was only one year younger than Bella but he was build so strong and muscular. His abs were tight and perfect. His tanned skin was like delicious coffee, and his eyes were a deep and smooth brown. His hair was truly something to behold, though dark, it glistened and shined in the sun. Any girl would have killed to have his thick lustrous hair.

As the hot water ran down her face and body, she thought of Embry, and how sweet he had been to her. He was such a gentleman and kind person. Maybe she shouldn't have pounced on him like that? He might think she was easy and not be interested in a proper romance with her.

A proper romance? Was that what she wanted? She just wished she could have stayed with him longer, being held by him. Talking to him.

She realised she had forgotten to ask for his phone number.

The fire was going steady and strong before Embry arrived at the beach. Quill and Jake had been waiting at least an hour.

The sun had set, and the night was growing comfortable and dark. The weather becoming slightly colder. Wolves ran at a hot temperature and barely felt the cold. All the wolves were shirtless and their hair flowed in the breeze. Free.

These fireside nights at First Beach were becoming a ritual. Light a big ass fire, talk about random subjects and sink as many tinnies as you could steal from your parents. Embry had stolen a six pack of his mums for the occasion. He would face the consequences, but for the moment he didn't care. He was on cloud nine.

"Broooooo." Quill said. "Where have you been! Coulda chucked us a text."
"Ah yeah guys, sorry. Been busy." Embry said with a cheeky smirk.
"Come on then, what's got you all giddy." Jake asked.
"Well Black, If you tell me who you're sleeping with, then I'll tell you who I'm sleeping with." Embry said

Quill and Jacob were both speechless. Jacob thought that perhaps Embry wasn't as perceptive as he thought, because he was way off the mark with that assumption. Jake wished he was sleeping with a guy. But now the only guy he could even imagine in his mind was Edward.

Edward. Edward. Edward. Molten-gold eyed vampire, Edward Cullen.

"Aw man, you guys are both sleeping with girls?" Quill said, "When am I gonna catch a break." He threw a stick on the fire, sending up sparks.
"What makes you think I'm sleeping with someone?" Questioned Jake shyly.
"You've been so distant lately, avoiding the pack, too 'busy' to come running with us. Not to mention you've seemed emotional and too quiet. A romance must have something to do with that." Embry reasoned.
"You're wrong." Said Jake curtly. Feeling annoyed at himself for sounding rude.

Quill just looked between them.

"Well?" Embry said. "Don't you guys want to know who's legs my face has been between for the previous hour?"

Shocked, Quill stared at Embry. Jake just laughed gently.

Quill was thinking: don't say Jessica, don't say Jessica. Quill had feelings for Jessica Stanley, but he had to concede that she was easy. Giving herself away to any guy who bought her a couple of drinks. He had heard stories of her sexual escapades. Nights at hotels with older guys in Port Angeles, Getting caught having sex with Mike Newton behind the Fork's Highschool bleachers. She even tried to sleep with Jake, greatly to Quill's annoyance.

"Bella Swan."

The guys stared at Embry in disbelief. It was a moment before Jake was able to wrap his head around this.

"No. not Bella." Jacob said, "She's not like that."
"Like what, the Love of my life with the sweetest tight pussy and perky tits? Yeah, she's like that." Stated Embry.

The guys were only on their first drink. The night was young, and would be full of revelations.

"I think I really like her." Said Embry proudly. "She's... unique."
"Yeah she is something alright." said Jake.
"You don't have a thing for her, so I knew it would be alright by you." Embry said.
"Wait, How did you know he didn't have a thing for her? He never said that. It seemed like you kinda did have a thing for her Jake. You always said how smart, nice and beautiful she was?" Said Quill.

Jake was Quiet.

"Jake?" Prodded Quill

This was one of those moments where Jake was tired of hiding his true self. He wouldn't constantly need to pretend to be attracted to women, to make up excuses about why he was still a virgin, or to reject the occasional girl who looked his way, hurting their self-esteem, if he told the truth. Though letting the cat out of the bag wouldn't be easy. The packs ability to read the occasional random thought that appeared in peoples heads could reveal his truth. If Quill and Embry knew, then the whole pack would eventually know. But it seemed like only a matter of time anyway. Soon they would find out about his imprinting on Edward. There were never any secrets that stayed secret long.

The fire burned bright on the sandy beach and the boys kept drinking their beers in the awkward silence. The moon was high above, reflecting its gently ripling image into the ocean.

"I think Bella is perfect for you, Embry. She's not my type." said Jake.
"Hahah yeah beautiful isn't your type?" Wondered Quill sarcastically.
"No, I have a very specific type. It isn't something I've shared with you guys because I wanted to keep it to myself for as long as possible, but it isn't really easy to keep the secret anymore."

Quill and Embry watched Jacob, as he stared at the fire.

He looked older, less like a teenager, more like a fully grown adult. His muscles were bigger than theirs, he was taller than them. He was the grandson of Ephraim Black, and he look it in this moment, as he stared into the white hot flames of the fire. He looked like the alpha he was born to be.

"I've imprinted on a man."

The silence after this statement endured for a long time.

...

"But... that doesn't mean..." Quill began.

"Yes, it does mean." Jacob interrupted. "I'm sexually attracted to men. I've known it for years, and I'm proud of it. I just don't want the pack to know who I've imprinted on."

"Why? Who is this guy that you've imprinted on?" Embry asked after quietly listening for so long.

"I can't tell you."
"I don't understand why it's a big deal?" Said Quill. "Even if you're gay... it doesn't necessarily mean imprinting is a romantic thing... or a sexual thing"
"They say that, but it always is. Everyone who has imprinted from our pack is in romantic love with that person." Jake said.

It was quiet for a long time after. Jake was a little too drunk. The guys all continued to drink, it was good to numb everything that was happening.

"You know that we don't mind about you being gay.. It really doesn't change anything." Said Quill softy. Barely to be heard over the fire and the ocean.
"Yeah, I know." Replied Jake, feeling a swell of affection in his heart for Quill and Embry. He was lucky to have true friends.

The alcohol was going down well. Too well, Jake had finished his six pack, so he started so sip Quill's dads rum that was passed around.

Starting to feel their heads spinning, and their body's numbing, the guys started to get really deep into the revelations that occurred tonight.

"So how many guys have you fucked, Jake?" Quill said. "Be honest! I'm not having any of this 'I'm still a precious virgin' bullshit." He said with a wheezy laugh.
"Fuck off Quill, I am still a virgin, and if I ever get with a guy, you'll be the last to know!"
Quill laughed even harder, he lay over into the sand, wheezing hard.

"I think I'm in love with her." Said Embry as he lay on his back staring up at the endless expanse of the universe. "Ya know, she's just so beautiful. He hair is gorgeous, she's so smart and interesting. And her pussy is so... it's so... symmetrical..." Embry said.
Quill laughed even harder.

The guys didn't notice that Jake had suddenly gotten up and walked away. He was walking to his motorbike. The alcohol had broken down his inhibitions and strengthened his resolve.

He was going to confront Edward Cullen.

He needed to look him in the eye, those gorgeous yellow eyes, and make him understand what he had done to him. The frustration Jake felt was at breaking point. He couldn't even be mad at Edward. He was his imprinted love. The perfection that it was Jake's life mission to now protect. Nothing in this world would ever be his fault, even if he were Hitler, Jake would still praise the ground he walked on. He was frustrated at everything.

The motorbikes engine thrummed to life. Drunk as Jake was, he still had enough good sense to put on a helmet, though not enough sense apparently to put on any clothing or shoes. With nothing but black denim jeans on and long hair flowing in the wind, Jake sped towards where the Cullen's lived in their massive house. He didn't know whether he was flouting the treaty. It only said the Cullen's couldn't come onto Quileute lands, not that the Quileute's couldn't go onto theirs.

He sped through the winding roads, past endless trees. He suddenly realised it would've been faster if he had shifted and ran to their house, but maybe they would have perceived that as a threat. He was too drunk to run straight anyway.

He had no idea what was going to happen, or what he was going to say.

Jake was going to give that vampire a piece of his mind. That gorgeous, marble skinned golden eyed vampire.

He would see him, and he would know what to say.
