If you got any guesses let me know. Not sure what direction to go.

Lin wakes up face in a toilet; she gets up despite the body saying no. The room spins, but she's lucky. There wasn't vomit everywhere, not even on her clothes. She went to the mirror. Another thing she didn't like to do, but she had to. Lin noticed the clothes and figured Su and Kya decided to take advantage. No way Korra did this anyways. She sighed. She could smell Tarlock. She remembers when they found the boat. It had one body. It was assumed the other water, Bender. Presumably, Amon had ironically drowned.

But what if that was Amon's body, and Tarlok got away anyone got away one of them got away.

Su knocked,

"Who told you guys you could be in my house? If you snooped through my stuff, you'd regret it." Lin's voice was angry. She tried to get rid of the signs she had cried, hoping only Mako saw,

"Lin, we have tea and some food. Also, why would we? You are probably just having boring old books." Su lied, hoping they act like only Mako saw that Bumi had been the only one to see drunk. It did give them the reminder Lin was human. Sometimes you forget her. She was so cold and robotic-like right now.

"Your lying." Lin opened the door to glare down at her sister. She inspected her home for signs of snooping. The krew was alarmed at how abnormal her emotions were brought back by her harsh voice.

" So, what did you find out? I just thought, what if Amon and Tarlok or both of them faked their deaths."

"That's why we are here, Lin." Tenzin decided not to suggest they handle it; she would know they saw her anxiety attack and sour her mood.

"Good, now do tell." Lin messed with the bow on the bottom of her shirt, muttering why her sister had to put in the ridiculous clothes.

"Hey, I dressed you too, and you look nice," Kya whined, and Lin rolled her eyes.

Lin was too tired to change. So she listened to what Mako and Tenzin said. They spoke of their investigations;

Mako got the sketch artist to work with each person who lost their bending. They got what the guy looked like and then a compiled version, " It's two, guys. One looks like that asshole Tarlok. Mako, I'm going to have you look at all all-know water bender triads. I have a hunch this guy was either an associate or somebody that also was tormented by a triad."

The other guy looked a rail-thin gaunt face, had rotten teeth, and had four ponytails. But she knew Tarloks face. She looked at her shirt. It had been a gift from him. She didn't know what to think, but she would be lying if she didn't admit her heart skipped a few beats she didn't understand why she was this way. A voice brought her back to earth.

"Right, but theirs more," Tenzin said.

Tenzin told Lin about what they learned in the spirit world. She spoke to her about it like she had not a clue about how the spirit world worked

" I've been to the spirit world before. You don't have to tell me like I'm a moron. Hurry up." Lin's voice had a familiar snap to it.

"There may be a Dark Avatar out there, we looked for old scripts, but nothing came up. When did you go?" Tenzin added the last part, surprised.

Lin sat on her couch awkwardly. Everyone in her most private spaces was weird. She considered moving now that they knew where she lived. Lin shrugged and gave a cryptic answer, deciding to have the tea. Her throat ached. She pulled out her copy of the triad mugshots; Mako and Lin flipped threw the books while the discussion continued

"What if it's not Tarlok or only looks like Tarlok, " Bumi ran his fingers through his beard. "They use the slightly tarnished reputation of the councilman to lead the remnants, but it turns out it was Amon and this new guy."

"That sounds ridiculous." Korra and Tenzin said.

"Doesn't the avatar reincarnate into a baby?" Su asked

"The dark avatar would be two years old," Kya added

"I dunno, it sounds like what the family did." Bolin defended Bumi from Tenzin.

"How did they even find out Raava reincarnated the first time" Opal chimed in, holding Bolins hand.

"We haven't found any documentation on that. I don't even know if people recorded that history back then."

"We can't rule anything out right now," Lin said. If it is an adult avatar, it was unheard of to pass to an adult person, so who knew.

"Let's fill in Raiko,"Mako said, noting how stumped the team was; not one photo matched any known triads.

"I guess we might as well. He may do nothing since theirs no pressure on him."

"At least we are investigating."

They were back in Raiko's office. He was buying himself with the preparations. He was throwing a Gala to fundraise for his election and to celebrate the heroes of republic city. Accept for Zhu li and Varrick, but if they came, he would allow them in. He invited Team Avatar and their friends; Bolin agreed for them quickly as he loved Gala's. He focused on the young adults trying not to look at Lin in civilian clothes. He had to choose between her and Buttercup, but Lin never made it easy, even with Buttercup's news that she may be sick.

"There, of course, is a dress code. I recommend everyone come in your best." It was clear he was talking to Lin and Mako. Asami smiled, remembering how delicate he was when he spoke to Lom. Now he said he wanted to see her dressed up.

"We will return to this when the celebration is over," Raiko said when Mako opened his mouth to protest.
