"Can siblings hate you?"

"...What did you just say Rin?" Len shakily whispered, his voice low and weary. "You heard me," Rin responded, sniffling as she wiped her eyes. "I hate you." Len flinched at the sound of her voice. "S-stop." He stammered, something he doesn't tend to do. "Don't say that anymore, it's not...it's not funny." He whispered, his voice had changed, and it sounded more fragile.

"I'm not joking," Rin responded. "I'm serious." She says quietly in a dead tone, before standing up and facing her widened brother's eyes.

One of the other, they both desperately looked the same. She had just noticed that before. They even had the same expressions when they looked in pain.

Rin stared at her twin brother, and his pained expression made her flinch and tremble with horrendous fear. He looked exactly how she did when she stared at herself in the mirror, fragile and frail. Like his whole world had torn apart when she yelled out those three words that were heartbreaking.

It was almost as if she was staring at her own reflection, but a completely different person. She said not a single word to her brother, perhaps because she chose not to or because there wasn't anything left in her broken heart to say, her heart was empty, and sad.

"I hate you." She whispered hoarsely, tears building up on the edges of her waterline as they lined up like pearls. "S-stop saying that, Rin," Len replies, his voice shaking and breaking up.

"Please..I-"

"I HATE YOU!" The female yelled, louder than expected when she suddenly shoved her brother and ran out of the room. He wanted to chase after her, he really did, but he was so in shock he couldn't move at all.

Why would his sister say such a horrible thing? How could such decaying words break apart your feelings into pieces?

Did she mean it?

Has his sister hated him for a long time?

He had stayed in the bathroom thinking for a long time, too long, he didn't even notice that Rin had left the room.

He didn't even flinch when he heard the sound of her crying.

He didn't even realize he heard the sound of the door slamming through the kitchen.

11:21 PM

Rin ran and ran through the park infinitely, her breath shaking and her legs aching as she continued running away. She cried uncontrollably and she ran endlessly into the park, there was no one there. It was just empty.

Just like her heart.

Everything had gone terribly wrong. Her life had been stolen away from her eyes just like that. Her only kin had been taken away, by the hypnotizing demon that smiled every day. She really truly didn't mean to say any of those things towards her brother. All the horrible things she had said to him were what she wanted to say to herself.

If it wasn't for her, none of this wouldn't have happened.

Her brother wouldn't have been kidnapped by an alien, and neither would she say those heartbreaking words.

Damnit, damnit, damnit!

Rin just continued running and running, she didn't know where she was going. It was just endless like crawling through a maze and trying to cower your way out.

Anywhere, anywhere but home.

[Stop]

I endlessly ran and ran through the streets illuminated by the golden lights, the pouring cold rain made the atmosphere foggy and dense. I didn't know where I was, all I knew is that I was a few blocks away from my house and near the school. I coughed uncontrollably, and kneeled down near a pole, and threw up unexpectedly. The horrid tasteless liquid bubbled up in my throat again before I threw up, then cried out loud.

My stomach complained in response, was I hungry? Whatever, I didn't have time to deal with this bullshit. I needed to starve myself so I could at least keep running until I passed out. Groaning, I shuffled around my pockets and took out my pocket knife. I raised up my gray sleeve and gently but quickly scraped my skin, continuing the motion painlessly.

Beads of blood lined up against the sloping valley of my wrist, almost like an army preparing for battle. I raised the sharp blade to my face and cheeks and cut some more. I had cut too deep on my cheek, that it started bleeding out, raindrops landed on it as it burned.

I cursed quietly before standing up and running again in the cold rain, my wet clothes stuck to my skin and my hair blew in the wind, I couldn't even tell if the sweat was rain or not. My heart throbbed uncontrollably in my eardrums, it didn't sound natural.

After about half an hour of running, I felt my legs ache.

I could hear my heavy breathing ringing in my ears, my blood boiling through my veins, and adrenaline coursing in my aching body. My legs go numb as I stomp on the concrete hard but I don't stop running.

I'm struggling to breathe.

My chest aches badly as I breathe even harder to get the slightest bit of air but I don't stop running. My vision blurs a bit as my eardrums ring uncontrollably, I could barely see what was going on.

[Start]

Then suddenly, everything turns black.

And all I remember is someone calling out my name.
