Chapter 1

Apollo hadn't been feeling well all day, but he didn't have time to rest.

He had to visit Meg at Camp Halfblood, and then he had a council meeting tonight. For no apparent reason though he had woken up with a feeling of dread.

This should've been his first clue that something wasn't right. It was almost like his mind had given him an ultimatum. Something bad was happening, and it was happening soon.

But what good would worrying do? He was the god of prophecy after all and there was always some deadline that someone had to meet so that something bad didn't happen!

Nothing new or special about this feeling, tis just another day in the life of an immortal.

He flashed into his Cabin at Camp where his children were playing a game of mythomagic with Hades's kid.

Apollo smirked to himself, he turned on a glamor, and made himself invisible. He tapped Austin on the shoulder causing his youngest son to whip around, and look for the culprit.

He then snatched one of Kayla's cards, and slipped it into Will's hand. And for the gods great finale he pulled Nico's sweatshirt over his head.

Nico shreeched in surprise. Kayla shouted something along the lines of "Will!? You stole my cards?!"

And Austin jumped up, and cried "WHO KEEPS TAPPING MY SHOULDER!? FOR THE LOVE OF APOLLO STOP!"

Apollo nearly died laughing right then and there. "Well it's good that you love me son, but you look like a lunatic at the moment. Running around like that." He gestured to Austin's hyperventilating form.

"DAD!?" His kids cried.

"APOLLO!?" Nico shouted.

"Present." He bowed, and smirked. "Now do I get a hug or what?" He asked, holding his arms open.

The Cabin 7 campers shrugged, and ran into their fathers embrace, while Nico stood awkwardly in the corner.

"Why are you here?" Will asked.

Apollo pouted. "I said I'd come over more often! To Tartarus with Zeus's 'divine law'." Apollo shook his head. "Also Meg would kill me if I didn't stop by every once and a while." He added in a lower tone.

Meg was very scary when she didn't get what she wanted.

"Is my little brother here by any chance? Or did Zeus give him a last minute assignment before the solstice?"

"No, he's in the Big House." Kayla told him.

"Perfect!" The god clapped his hands together and smiled broadly. "Now before I depart, I've brought gifts for all of you!"

Apollo pulled three packages out of nowhere, and handed one to each of his kids.

When Apollo turned Austin was admiring his new guitar that emitted strong stunning pulses when he played it.

"It'll only hurt those who you want to. The faster and stronger you play the harder the pulses hit your enemies. Be careful, they can be fatal."

Kayla was checking out her new arrows that always hit their mark, and automatically knew where each monster's weak spots were.

"You will know when to use them." He told her quietly.

And Will was checking the informational ingredients on the new super ambrosia that Apollo had given him.

"When all else fails son, use that." He said in a dangerously low tone.

Will looked up slowly and nodded at his father, as Apollo walked swiftly out of the Cabin and shut the door.

Then Apollo blinked slowly several times. He didn't even remember picking those presents out, and that voice hadn't sounded like his own… It was far too ominus… Oh well, he'd figure it out later!

So then he walked to the Big House where Dionisus was drinking a coke. "Hello, Apollo."

"Hey, D. What's up?"

"The sky, you, Olympus, birds." He listed in a bored voice.

Apollo sighed. "Well, I just wanted to say hi, now I have to go see Meg."

"That girl has a death wish, Apollo. She tried to hand feed Peleus!" His brother cried.

The elder god just shook his head and laughed. "I'm sure she did." Meg had insane ideas from time to time, there was no doubt that she had done that particular bad idea.

"I'm off to Cabin 4, see you tonight!" Apollo shouted over his shoulder as he began the trek to Demeter Cabin. As he walked, several demigods from varias Cabins stopped to watch the Olympian.

A moment later he'd reached Meg's Cabin, he knocked on the door and Miranda Gardener opened the door.

"Oh, hey man, what's u-uh- I mean… Welcome Lord Apollo, what brings you to our Cabin this morning?" She stuttered. The kids at Camp had gotten used to treating him like one of them, but now that he was a god again he instilled the fear of his anger by just standing there.

Of course Apollo was a lot better about not smiting the first person who angered him nowadays, but people still feared him because of the fact that he was a god again.

"I'm here to see Meg." He told her, smiling slightly to try to ease her nerves.

Miranda nodded. "Meg! Lord Apollo's here!"

"Be right there!" The young daughter of Demeter shouted to her head counselor from somewhere inside the large Cabin.

Suddenly the young girl pushed past her sister, and stood in the doorway with her hands on her hips.

"Finally! You were supposed to be here 20 minutes ago!" She frowned.

Apollo sighed and pushed a lock of golden hair out of his eyes. "Well, yes, being a god is a busy job, and I am sincerely sorry."

Meg huffed, but stepped out of the Cabin and waved goodbye to her siblings as she closed the door behind her.

"C'mon I wanna show you what I did to Sparkles!" Apollo rubbed his temples. Ah yes, the magical unicorn that the Sun God had gifted the girl.

The pair came up the stables where a pale golden unicorn stood proudly, a saddle made out of vines upon her back.

Apollo blinked. "You gave the unicorn a saddle!?!?" Oh what had he brought upon that poor animal!?

"Yup! Now why did you wanna talk?"

Suddenly that fuzzy feeling overcame Apollo's mind once more. He waved his hands and suddenly a perfectly wrapped box appeared in his hand.

"Oooooooo! What's in the box!" Meg snatched it from Apollo, and quickly tore apart the wrapping paper.

"Huh? What? I've never even heard of this plant?" Meg whispered to herself.

Apollo had never heard of the plant on the seeds package either and he was starting to scare himself, but he brushed it off once more, and cleared his throat loudly.

"Well, you'll figure it out eventually! I have a meeting to get to!" With one last forced smile he flashed to Olympus, rubbing his eyes trying to figure out what was going on.

"APOLLO." A voice boomed throughout Olympus making all the locals freeze, and Apollo sigh.

"I'm coming, father!" Apollo dredged up the stairs to Olympus, and took his seat in his throne, bowing to his father as he did so.

Artemis gave him a glare for being late, and Apollo looked at his hands. That fatigued feeling hadn't left him. Something was wrong. Very wrong.

The Sun God didn't pay attention for half of the meeting as the others argued. And of course half the deities threatened war as usual, and well if war wasn't constantly being threatened on Olympus then the place would've faded years ago.

While everyone argued, Apollo took a moment to think about his life. His family. His children…

Apollo glanced at Artemis who looked to be half asleep, and glaring at the back of Aphrodite's skull as if she could simply smash it in by staring at it.

Ares threatened to burn Athens to the ground while Athena threatened the same for Sparta.

Hermes taunted Dionisus with a glass of wine, while Hera and Demeter screeched at each other.

Zeus and Poseidon had gotten up from their thrones and looked like they were going to start wrestling right on the middle of the floor.

Hades looked like might try to stop his little brothers, but opted for a civil conversation with his older sister, Hestia, instead.

Hephestus sat quietly on his throne making something, completely disassociating with the terror around him.

Apollo suddenly felt even more ill than before. Like he was going to throw up. Right now.

Apollo stumbled off his throne into the middle of the room clutching his head, this made everyone freeze, and a deafening silence fell over the hall.

"Apollo…?" Hermes asked, taking a cautious step towards the Sun God.

Suddenly Apollo went as stiff as a board. His eyes turned a sickening green, and he began to speak.

"The Gods Shall Fade, One By One

The Sickness To Fear, For You Can Not Out Run

Secrets Revealed, Not One Can Hide

In Each Other You Shall All Confide

Forgotten Daughter, In Greece You'll Find

Silver Maiden, Is The Last Of Her Kind

A Family's Love Is Strongest Of All

Only Olympians Together May Survive Their Fall."

Then Apollo's eyes rolled up into the back of his head, and he fainted.

"APOLLO!" Artemis cried, running to her brother's side, gently pulling his uncounsious, shaking form into a hug.

In mere seconds the other Olympians were at his side. "Apollo, come on, look at me, shit, he isn't focusing his eyes." Hades muttered.

"Someone get Asclepius in here now!" Zeus shouted to a nearby Dryad. She nodded before running off.

A few seconds later Asclepius flashed into the room, his eyes immediately falling onto his dad's collapsed form. "Dad." He breathed, eyes widening.

The Healing God ran over, and did several quick tests with a wave of his hand. "He needs an Ichor Drip now, Ambrosia, Nectar, any other healing supplies that we can get."

Artemis suddenly froze looking at her brother once more. That prophecy… it didn't sound good, and the fact that he collapsed after reciting iy didn't bode well for her either at all…

Artemis had a horrible feeling that this was going to be very, very bad for her family...
