9:37 A.M. – Somewhere in Beverly Hills

"Yes, it's all coming together now, isn't it?"

Eugene Snit couldn't help but smile as he looked over everything he'd need for his latest scheme. He'd finally managed to escape from the containment facility after quite a while, given W.O.O.H.P. had moved most of its prisoners to a different facility while another one was under construction, thus he'd found a perfect opportunity to make his escape.

Thankfully, the baseline of his disguise technology was still intact, so he'd spent most of his time after escaping in fixing up and perfecting it to make sure it would be ready for whatever his new scheme would be.

And after a bit of thinking, he'd come up with the perfect idea.

Instead of just going after one person to mess with their hearts... why not go after multiple people?

Say... the entire student body of Malibu University?

"I'm so ingenious, I amaze even myself sometimes," Snit cackled as he strapped on his disguise device to test it out. He cycled through three different disguises until he was sure they were foolproof and ready to act.

But who to go after first?

Snit glanced at a readout of many different Mali-U students until he noticed someone interesting on the list.

"Ooh, that'll do nicely," Snit laughed. "I hope you're all ready, you little brats. It's time to say goodbye to your relationships, and I mean it this time."

Naturally, the spies aren't buying any of it, but Blaine might due to Snit unwittingly causing one of Blaine's past memories to resurface in the wrong way. Can the spies band together and defeat Snit before Mali-U turns into a warzone of chaos and gossip gone horribly wrong?

Author's Note from Mat49324: And here we go with our 44th project! Today, we've got another one-shot villain returning. We did use this villain in our S1 project In a Brit Snit. Yep, the womanizing sleazy joke, Eugene Snit has come back. If you remember In a Brit Snit, he disguised himself as a regular man to go out with Britney in an attempt to break her heart in two as a diversion so he could seek revenge on Clover after what happened in S2's Matchmaker on the TV series. For now, we hope you enjoy this current project – Starting a Snit Storm – and here's The Blue Time Ranger for anything he'd like to say.

Author's Note from The Blue Time Ranger: Eventually, every villain worth their salt is gonna return for another shot at taking down their enemies. And what better time for our so-called "master of disguise" to take his shot again? Well, let's get on with the show! Also, be prepared for the next story, Come Undone, because things are definitely going to go down there. But enough of that for now, ROLL IT!

Act 1: This is War

12:39 P.M. – Malibu University

The Spies' Penthouse

It was another usual day on the Malibu University campus. The spring semester was drawing to a close. Currently, Mat was all done with his classes for the day, but his mood on the 2008 Supercross season had hardly changed from the last weekend's race at Detroit, and to the last race in St. Louis. Not only did Yamaha's Chad Reed finish 12th and 2nd respectively (losing 14 points in the previous two races), but in the Supercross Lites class, defending West champ Ryan Villopoto had lost out on the East title by 10 points to Torco Racing Honda rookie Trey Canard, who won the final round following a confrontation on the track that caused Villopoto to crash and finish in 4th.

Mat also couldn't get over the final interviews from Canard and Villopoto – especially the rookie Canard being the champ when he felt it rightly should've been Villopoto; Villopoto's last interview had a couple of bleeps included.

Flashback to last weekend...

After the 2008 St. Louis Supercross Lites main had concluded, Torco Racing Honda rookie Trey Canard had won his 4th race of the 7-race series while odds-on favorite Ryan Villopoto of the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team had crossed the line in 4th place. Canard had tried to make a pass on Villopoto back, only for Canard to slide into Villopoto and sent Villopoto to the ground, nearly taking out a track official.

Sam, Nick, and May happened to be watching the race with Mat, and they both saw how disappointed Mat was that Ryan Villopoto didn't win the East Lites title.

"That WAS pretty disappointing," Nick told Mat.

"Is it safe to say that it was 'fair and square' as they say?" Sam wondered.

"It was racing," Mat answered. "But it's disappointing to see Villopoto sorta... 'quit trying' from my perspective."

"Is that Villopoto guy the same one who won the Anaheim race last year?" Nick wondered.

"Yep," Mat answered. "He wins 7 out of 8 races en route to the West Lites title in 2007, and this year... THAT?!"

"Hasn't anybody won both series before?" May wondered.

"He'd have been the 4th person to do that," Mat answered. "Ernesto Fonseca won the East in 1999 and the West in 2001; James Stewart won the West in 2003 and the East in 2004; Grant Langston won the East in 2005 and the West in 2006."

It was then and there that Canard's interview was being shown from pit reporter Erin Bates.

Trey: ...I feel kinda bad about hitting Ryan but... you know, we're all out here to race and I would have expected him to do the same thing to me. We all want it really bad, and I respect Ryan a lot – I hope he still respects me but... man, I want this really bad and I didn't expect him to keep it on, but... I'm so pumped right now.

Erin: Did you think this was possible to do in your rookie season?

Trey: Yes and no. I really wanted to do it so bad, but I didn't know how possible it was...

"Maybe next year," May replied.

"No, not next year," Mat told her. "Under the Lites class rules, if a rider either scores over 100 points in 3 straight seasons or wins back-to-back titles, he has to ride the premier class the next year. Villopoto exceeded 100 points for the third straight season. This means Villopoto's moving up to the 450cc bike for 2009."

"Man, that's gotta hurt," May quipped.

"But hey, I'm sure he'll get his chance soon," Sam stated.

"Yeah, when it comes to sports of any kind, you just never know, right?" Nick proclaimed.

Villopoto's interview was being shown, and as expected, he was NOT happy about what happened.

Ryan: I dunno... just uh, obviously... not what I wanted, and um... pretty much it was uh... bull[bleep] I think.

Erin: Talk to us about the move that Canard put on you?

Ryan: Um, well, I had the wheel, he might've had a little... you know, I-I don't know! It was just ah... little bit of uh... he ran me off the track and I [bleep]ing hit the aluminum... tower thing.

Erin: An upsetting night, guys, for Ryan Villopoto.

The final points standings showed Trey Canard as the 2008 Supercross Lites East champ over Ryan Villopoto – 147-137.

"I can't believe Villopoto left THAT much room!" Mat chastised after viewing the replay.

"You're telling me," Sam stated.

"Yeah, you leave that kind of room, you're just asking for trouble," May quipped.

"I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes," Nick admitted.

Currently, Mat got back to reality in time to hear Melissa and Britney come near him. Both of them had swimsuits on.

"Mat, we're gonna go swim – wanna come?" Britney offered.

"The pool down below," Melissa added.

"Clover and May are there already," Britney went on.

"Yeah, okay," Mat sighed.

As the three went outside to the penthouse pool, Sam was just coming back from Advanced Physics and saw what was going on. Bridget and Nozomi were with her and they saw the pool fun going on.

"Lemme at it!" Bridget exclaimed as she used her X-Powder to switch to a bikini and cannonballed in...

...and she landed on top of Clover.

"Oof, this is becoming a norm," Nozomi laughed.

"Totally," Sam laughed.

That was when Nozomi looked to see Dawn and Haruka coming back from class themselves.

"BRIDGET, YOU DOPE!" Clover shouted.

"Oof, I don't need three guesses to figure out what happened there," Dawn laughed.

"Uh-huh," Haruka laughed. "By the way, Nick and Alex are still in class – as is Blaine."

"Sounds good," Sam quipped as she used her X-Powder to go from her green tanktop and blue jeans to her classic green swimsuit that Mat liked a lot on her. "Now, I'm ready to cool off!"

"We're waiting for ya, Sam," May quipped with a wave of her arm from in the pool.

Sam didn't waste any time and jumped in, immediately swimming to Mat, asking if he was any better.

"I'm okay," Mat told her.

"I'd think so after that last race," Melissa laughed.

An hour later, Blaine returned from his class and joined in the pool fun as well, but when Nick and Alex came back themselves, they didn't even look at each other, which surprised at least Melissa and May.

"Oh, this doesn't look good," May quietly told Melissa.

"You guys coming in?" Nozomi asked from the pool.

Alex just shook her head and walked off in the opposite direction. She didn't look particularly angry, but just the fact that she wasn't even looking at her boyfriend said everything that the others needed to know.

"Since I feel the need to ask, what happened?" May wondered.

"...I really screwed up," Nick sighed. "We were just talking about something, and then she misunderstood something I said, and then I misunderstood something she said, then we just started arguing, and..."

"Whoa, whoa, calm down there, speed reader," May quipped as she jumped out of the pool to walk over to her boyfriend. "What did she misunderstand?"

"Ah, it was just something stupid, and that's why it hurt so much," Nick groaned. "Why is it always the stupid things that cause these arguments?!"

May reached out to put her hand on Nick's face, effectively stopping his rant so she could gently turn him towards her and kiss him.

"Because that's just how it is," May replied. "Why don't we go talk about it in our dorm room? You know, give Alex some time?"

Nick just nodded and allowed May to walk him back to their dorm room, leaving the other spies worried about whatever had happened between Nick and Alex.

1:35 P.M. – Malibu University

Nick and May's Dormitory

"Okay, it's just us," May stated once she and Nick were sitting comfortably on their shared bed. "No one to misunderstand anything. What went wrong out there?"

"...well, like I said, it was really just something stupid, and that's really why I'm so frustrated about it," Nick answered. "I know we've rarely argued for as long as we've been going steady, and I think that's quite the accomplishment..."

"So when you do get into an argument, it hurts so much more since it rarely happens," May finished. "And you're worried you might have said the wrong thing and got her mad."

"...nailed it in one," Nick sighed.

"Johnny and I were pretty much the same way," May admitted. Now Nick was interested, since even nowadays, May didn't say much about Johnny, her first crush and the former captain of the Jellyfish Pirates. Nick knew that May most likely still missed him, considering the tragic circumstances of his passing.

"Johnny and I, we were thick as thieves for a long time, even though he was already taken," May explained. "We rarely, if ever, got into arguments, even over the silliest stuff. But when we did, it hurt me more than people would think, because I always wonder what I did wrong, since the argument was over something petty and dumb."

Nick just sighed in frustration, but May was already leaning over to kiss Nick on the cheek.

"But here's the other half of this story," May proclaimed. "None of those rare arguments were ever enough to ruin what we had with each other, despite how heated a couple of them got. So, take it from me, Nick. Whatever happened between you and Alex, just give her some time to cool off and then talk to her about it, 'kay? Trust me, I've seen the love you two have for each other, and I know for an absolute, unbreakable fact that what you two have isn't going to end because of a single argument."

"...thanks, May," Nick responded, leaning affectionately into May. "You really do know just what to say sometimes, don't you?"

"Like I said, I've been where you are, so I know how it feels," May answered. "And, as your other girlfriend, I kinda have that ability by default."

"I just hope she's willing to listen to me when we get to that point," Nick wondered.

"I'm sure she will," May replied. "This is Alex we're talking about, after all."

"...point," Nick stated. "I hope it wasn't too hard for you to talk about Johnny. I know you still miss him..."

"I'll be okay, Nick, don't worry," May responded. "Besides, thanks to you, I'll always have something to remember him by."

Nick glanced at the ring on May's finger, a small silver ring with a dolphin-shaped diamond. He'd gotten that ring for her a couple birthdays ago, as it had been the one Johnny had given to his old girlfriend before his death, and the Jellyfish Pirates had passed it on to May as a memento of Johnny.

Nick would have responded to that if he hadn't heard a very loud scream of anger from just outside their dorm room, one that came almost out of nowhere and made May jump in her spot.

"What the heck was that?!" May exclaimed.

"You little tramp! I should have known you'd be scheming behind my back!"

"Well, what about you, you snide little asshole?! You're the one who started it by checking out that little harlot!"

"Okay, that sounds like it's getting pretty heated," May quipped.

"And suspicious," Nick responded. "Let's check this out."

Nick and May moved to the door and slowly opened it so they could check things out from the safety of their dorm. A few feet down the hallway, a guy and a girl were arguing very intensely about something.

"Yikes," May stated.

"I concur," Nick replied. "Makes the argument I had with Alex look like small pickles in comparison."

Nick reached out with his psychic powers to see if anything was messing with the couple's thoughts, only to find nothing out of the ordinary.

"Huh. That's odd," Nick quipped. "I can't detect anything wrong with their minds."

"Yeah, I think that definitely counts as suspicious," May proclaimed. "Let's go check things out."

It was the same story each time as Nick and May moved through Mali-U to investigate. Couples were arguing, often harshly, about whatever grievances were going through their heads.

"Wow, it's like Mali-U's turning into a madhouse," May stated. "Something doesn't seem right here, Nick."

"Tell me about it," Nick answered. "We'd better find the cause before this place turns into another warzone, and..."

Nick trailed off when his psychic radar picked up a rather interesting set of thoughts. He looked around for their source, and eventually pinpointed a boy about his age with dirty-blonde, matted hair and turquoise eyes apparently whispering something to another girl nearby.

"...wait, what?!" the girl gasped. "H-He wouldn't!"

"I'm sorry I had to be the one to tell you this, but I overheard him talking about it to his buddy in the café earlier today," the boy answered, shaking his head sadly.

Suddenly, the boy yelped in confusion when Nick marched up to him, grabbed him by the shoulder cuff, and started dragging him away from the area, with May in pursuit.

Eventually, they made it to the beach area, where Nick roughly tossed the boy aside.

"D-Dude, what's your problem?!" the boy exclaimed.

"You're the one causing all this chaos, aren't you?" Nick shot back. "I saw you gossiping to that girl."

"Hey, man, don't blame me for just telling her what I saw with my own eyes," the boy responded, only to take a step back in fear when Nick aimed his now-glowing right hand straight for him.

"You know, I can actually read your mind," Nick growled. "So why don't you just drop the act?!"

Nick fired a Final Shine Attack into the boy's chest, causing him to tumble to the ground, but then his body actually seemed to shimmer before vanishing to reveal a very familiar foe.

"W-wait, Eugene Snit?!" May gasped.

"What did I tell you last time, Snit?" Nick proclaimed. "Your disguises can't fool my psychic powers. You wanna explain why you're turning Mali-U into a cesspit of toxic gossip?!"

"That's really none of your business, is it, you pathetic little spy?" Snit laughed.

"You'd better answer me post-haste, Snit, because I am really not in any mood for your bullcrap today," Nick growled.

May quickly brought out her Emergency Gadget Transporter and activated it to summon her trusty anchor.

"Listen to my boyfriend, Snit," May proclaimed. "Today is not the time for your nonsense."

"What happened to your other girlfriend?" Snit taunted. "Because I don't see her here, after all. Did you two argue about something?"

And that was officially all Nick could take as he rushed forward and punched Snit in the face.

"I warned you, you son of a bitch!" Nick growled as Snit recovered and used his disguise device to transform into a young woman with wavy rose pink hair and pale aqua eyes, a large gunblade weapon clenched in his hands.

"You're seriously trying this shtick again?" May exclaimed. "Turning into different Final Fantasy protagonists didn't save you last time, so why do you think turning into Lightning's gonna do it for ya, especially since that game's not even out yet!"

"May, call the others!" Nick responded as he moved to battle Snit. "I'll take care of this guy."

"On it!" May replied, fishing out her X-Powder to call the rest of the spies. "Guys, we've got a problem near the beach area."

"Okay, we're on it," Sam replied over the line.

Fortunately, just as May finished her call, the same girl Snit was gossiping to had nearly come into view; May quickly stopped her from coming any closer and perhaps avoid seeing Nick lashing out his psychic powers on Snit.

"We got this, don't worry," May told the girl.

She ran off anyway after a "thank you."

Meanwhile...

Having their pool day interrupted due to an emergency call from May, Sam led the group of spies to wherever it was they had to go.

"Alex, are you sure you and Nick won't be going for each other's throats?" Clover wondered.

"I'm fine," Alex answered. "My conscience is clean."

"For our sake, I hope so," Mat commented. "The last thing we want is for our attention to take a wrong turn."

Sam nodded, knowing that's happened before with Geraldine Husk, Terrence Lewis, and Kyle Katz.

"My head's in it," Alex assured the group.

Everyone believed her and moved forward to where Nick and May were.

"W-wait, why is Nick fighting that Lightning girl from that upcoming Final Fantasy game?" Nozomi wondered as she watched Nick and Snit clash.

"And why does this feel oddly familiar?" Britney asked.

Snit leaped through the air to slash at the other spies while they were chatting, only to crash into a psychic barrier projected by Nick.

"Focus, Snit," Nick taunted.

"So help me, you'll learn to stop mocking me!" Snit shouted as he charged back to attack Nick, only to run into a localized tornado, thanks to Alex throwing a Tornado in a Can of Hairspray.

May was immediately on Snit when he fell back down and started wailing on him with her anchor, eventually landing the "coup de grace" on Eugene Snit with a javelin throw of her anchor. It was a direct hit at Snit's chest area and sent him flat on his back near the shoreline.

The rest of the spy team managed to catch up and see Eugene Snit in the flesh; he was getting to his feet and cackled at the rest of the spy team presenting themselves.

"EUGENE SNIT!" Clover chastised right away.

"Who else is gonna be happy when that new containment facility is finished?!" Haruka groaned.

"We ALL will," Nozomi emphasized.

"So, the meddlers came back," Snit sneered.

"Puh-lease," Clover scoffed. "You were nothing but a sleazy joke, and still are today!"

"We'll see who the 'sleazy joke' truly is," Snit cackled and commenced another attack on the spy team.

May once again tripped up Snit and sent him tumbling to the ground.

"Too easy," May taunted.

Alex used her Laser Lipstick to shoot at Snit as he tried to get up.

"Wanna reconsider the 'sleazy joke' comment?" Britney laughed.

"Another time," Snit sneered and used his device to turn into a giant bird and flew away.

"Didn't think he could do that," Melissa remarked.

"I guess Final Fantasy people isn't the only things he can change into," May chastised.

"Guess now we tell Jerry the news," Sam replied as she got out her X-Powder.

Everyone else turned to Nick and Alex for what happened between them.

"Don't you two have something to tell us?" Bridget asked.

"And more importantly, can you two not make us divert our attentions?" Dawn added.

Alex chanced a glance over at Nick, and... well, now that her head was clearer than it was earlier today...

...she could finally admit how stupid she felt, losing her temper over something so dumb.

"Well... I could lie and say that everything's fine, but..." Alex chuckled. "You guys know me too well. I don't think I'd be able to get away with it. Honestly, now that I've got time to think about what happened... we were arguing over something really stupid."

"Care to elaborate, or would it not be that interesting of a tale to tell?" Sam wondered.

"Like I said, it's really just stupid, so it probably wouldn't be too interesting to talk about," Alex admitted. "Really, once I got some time to myself, I thought about it, and I felt awful that Nick and I got into an argument over something so petty. I was just worried that he was going to be mad at me for it..."

"I told Nick this already, but that happened a few times with Johnny and I back in high school," May proclaimed. "And really, I was the one doing most of the worrying, considering I didn't know how Johnny felt because I'm the one who stormed off..."

"But May told me to just give you some time to cool down before I said anything about it," Nick replied. "I feel really crappy about how I just exploded..."

"I wasn't helping matters myself, honestly," Alex replied. "It's like, once we got going, we just couldn't stop until it all bubbled over and went boom..."

"That's usually how it happens," Dawn quipped.

"Really, it was just a collection of dumb things that built up until we couldn't hold it in anymore," Alex sighed. "All I could think of when I got back to my room is what Nick was gonna think..."

"Hey, I was thinking the same thing," Nick answered. "Alex, you mean too much to me to want to lose you over a dumb and petty and dumb argument that wasn't even about anything close to not stupid. When you stopped looking at me when we got to the pool... I was scared..."

"Oh, just kiss already, we're not gonna mind," May giggled, playfully shoving Nick into Alex's arms.

"You know something, Nick? She's right," Alex laughed. "We shouldn't let one single argument get us down in the dumps. And besides, we always come out of it stronger in the end, right?"

"Truer words have never been spoken," Nick proclaimed. "I love you, Alex, and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for being so Young and the Restless..."

"I love you, too, Nick, and apology accepted," Alex responded as she leaned in to kiss Nick, much to the relief of the other spies.

"See, Nick, what'd I tell ya?" May laughed. "Works every time!"

"Okay, now that we've got all that settled," Alex quipped. "What exactly was Eugene Snit doing here? Didn't he learn his lesson the last time we stomped him and all of his Final Fantasy disguises?"

"Apparently, he's been spreading ugly gossip around Mali-U and trying to turn everyone against other, from what Nick and I snooped out earlier," May answered. "Probably still salty about his failed relationships."

"And apparently, he's been tinkering with more disguises, since he just turned into a giant bird," Clover stated.

"Which most likely means we've got a serious problem on our hands if this keeps up," Mat proclaimed. "From what Nick and May told us, Mali-U could turn into a warzone if Snit keeps spreading his lies."

"Do you think he's still somewhere on campus, or did he retreat to his dastardly lair?" Nozomi asked.

Deciding to take a look, Nick expanded his psychic radar out as far as he could to see if Snit's thoughts were anywhere on campus.

"Holy crapbaskets," Nick gasped.

"What'd you find, Nick?" Britney asked.

"A lot of the thoughts I'm picking up are all going ballistic," Nick answered. "Couples arguing about stupid things, threats of physical violence, and even this oddball one about dropping someone off the roof for cheating on them..."

"That doesn't sound good," Sam stated. "Any sign of Snit?"

"Never fear, the psychic always comes through," Nick teased. "I've got a lock on Snit somewhere in West Coast Hall."

"Well, then let's go kick his pasty keester!" Dawn exclaimed.

2:47 P.M. – Malibu University

West Coast Hall

"You wanna say that to my face, you little trash queen?!"

"Oh, I'm the trash queen?! What about that little slut I saw you holding hands with?!"

"Hey, it's not my fault she got scared when the power went out that one night! What the hell was I supposed to do?!"

Off in the corner, Snit, disguised as a woman with short black hair and red eyes, watched the scene with a wicked grin on his face.

But just then, Nick placed himself between the arguing couple, instantly stopping their argument.

"Oh, please save the drama for the dumb reality shows," Nick proclaimed. "You're really gonna believe the rumor mill, especially when you don't even know who started the rumor?"

Nick turned to where Snit was standing and grabbed him by the ear to drag him out of West Coast Hall. "Excuse me, then, while I have a talk with this character," Nick quipped.

Eventually, Nick let Snit go when they were in front of the spies, only to kick Snit in the chest to break his current disguise.

"You might as well just give it up, Snit," Nick taunted. "You know I can find you through your disguises. What part of the word 'psychic' isn't registering to you?"

"How about we not waste words and start with the stomping?" Alex quipped.

"Exactly what I was thinking," May giggled as the spies prepared to face down Snit once again.

("Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey plays)

Every one of the spies faced down Eugene Snit for his actions. As for the other two, they ran off, not wanting to see how this would turn out.

"If this is another one of your screwed up schemes to land a girl, you just went 'the stupid way'!" Bridget chastised.

"Just face it, Snit," Clover quipped. "You couldn't land anybody if you were the only guy on this planet!"

"You couldn't even land a guy if you were truly gay either!" Mat exclaimed.

Obviously, Eugene Snit took major offense to hearing that and jumped back on his feet.

"Oh, really?!" Snit snarled.

He then turned into an old-school ninja and attempted to go after Mat.

"Not today, buddy boy!" Sam exclaimed as she used the Expandable Mascara Brush as a makeshift javelin to stop Snit from doing anything.

As it turned out, Sam landed a direct hit at Snit.

"Good shot, Sammy," Alex quipped. "My turn!"

Snit threw a bunch of shuriken towards Alex, but she flipped over the attack and lashed out with a spinning kick that knocked Snit right into the nearby wall.

"Great move, Alex!" Nick exclaimed.

"Care to team up?" May offered.

"I thought you'd never ask," Nick quipped as he looked at Alex.

"Let's get 'em!" Alex proclaimed.

Snit unsheathed a katana to attack Nick, but May stopped that by smashing the blade with her anchor, then tossing him towards Nick, who sent him into the air with an upwards snap kick, and Alex finished by jumping towards Snit and slamming him back to the ground with a fierce soccer kick.

"GOAL!" Nozomi shouted.

"My turn now!" Bridget proclaimed.

"Not today!" Snit sneered as he jumped away from a second attack from Nick, May, and Alex.

He then turned into a military cadet with murder on his mind.

"Ooh, I hope Bridget knows how to evade him," Blaine stated.

"Oh, I can read this punk easily," Bridget quipped. "Sonic Mode, online!"

Snit opened fire on Bridget, but she swiftly out-sped the attack, with Nick putting up a psychic barrier to prevent any stray bullets from hitting them. Eventually, Bridget came back with a lightning-fast right hook that sent Snit sprawling.

"All right, enough's ENOUGH!" Snit chastised after he couldn't land a hit on Bridget thanks to her speed.

He took several parting shots at the spies as a last resort. Clover was quick to whip out the All Weather Umbrella over everyone to shield any bullets. That's when Snit finally made his escape.

"He's gone!" Blaine chastised.

That's when Snit's voice came booming as if he were on a microphone.

"Don't be surprised, Clover, if your 'boyfriend' has more girlfriends besides you..." Snit's voice boomed through the room at Clover.

"Say what?!" Blaine chastised again.

Clover was quick to deny that statement for sure, but she DID know almost nothing about Blaine's past since they'd never met until Blaine got to Mali-U.

"Liar!" Clover shouted.

"Rules for villains, number one hundred and eighteen," Haruka quipped. "It's always a good idea to mess with your foes mentally."

"Ain't THAT the truth," Melissa chastised.

"Did you really run off or are you trying to mess with us some more?" Britney wondered as she looked around where Snit may have gone.

"Which one could it be, I wonder?" Snit's voice responded.

"You'd better stop trying to give us the runaround, Snit, because it's getting really old," Nick responded.

"And what about you, boy?" Snit laughed. "You wanna tell them all about her?"

"If you're talking about me, Snit, then they've known for a long time now," Nozomi responded. "So don't think that's going to work!"

"Any sign of him, Nick?" Britney asked.

"It doesn't look like he's gotten too far ahead of us," Nick responded after using his psychic radar to scan for Snit. "He's heading for the library."

"Then let's get over there and do the obvious thing!" May proclaimed.

As the spies headed for the library, Clover couldn't help but wonder what Snit had meant by what he'd said about Blaine.

She knew that Blaine would never cheat on her, but she also realized she didn't know much, if anything, about Blaine's past before he'd come to Mali-U and joined their team.

Was that was Snit was trying to accomplish?

On the next episode...

May: Hey, watch the merchandise, buddy! I have an anchor, you know!

Alex: Well, that was a trip and a half. It's like everybody on campus lost their minds...

Clover: That's gonna make getting around harder if we have to keep wading our way through a sea of suck like this.

Nick: All right, Snit, we know you're here. Now come out and face us so we can kick your ass back to containment!

Britney: Okay, definitely wasn't expecting that.

May: I could have!

Snit: If I were you, I'd be more worried about Blaine. I guess I'll have to enlighten you.

May: Well, readers, things are about to get serious, as they tend to do with us. What does Snit know about Blaine's past? I guess you'll have to read and find out, next time on Totally Spies: Starting a Snit Storm, "Ripples of Change"!

Britney: Okay, I'll admit that disguise is pretty slick.

Nick: Yeah, the costume department back here is pretty damn good at their jobs.
