Blake didn't mean to yell the next word that came out of her mouth, she only meant to yell it in her head.

"What!"

She immediately covered her mouth as to not alarm her parents or anyone else for that matter. Her face was filled with a shocked expression all the while Yang just stared at both her and her mother Raven with a blank expression. Almost like she expected Raven to pull a fast one and tell Blake she was joking.

But even without growing up with her as a mother figure Yang had already figured out that she wasn't the one to make jokes.

Yang looked at Blake, who seemed almost paralyzed and unable to speak, almost frozen in place with her hands covering her mouth.

"You can't be serious" Yang exclaimed softly, turning to her mother.

"I think I would know what the signs of a pregnancy are" Raven replied uptight.

"Yeah and that's about the only part of motherhood you know about" Yang retorted, grunting in frustration and trying to shake Blake out of her trance. "Blake snap out of it!" she said snapping her fingers to gain her partner's attention.

"I remember that happened to your dad too when I told him" Raven said with a sly small at recalling the memory.

"Shut up!" Yang responded as she continued to shake Blake until the cat Faunus moved her eyes again and began to look around.

"I….this can't be…" Blake mumbled looking around, placing her hands on her stomach.

"When was the last time you made love?" Raven asked without shame.

"Mom! You don't ask that of people" Yang responded with gritted teeth and slight embarrassment. "Unbelievable this woman has never been in my life and yet like every mother she manages to embarrass me." Yang thought.

Blake remembered her last night before everything seemed to go downhill, before the Conduit attacked and took her friends and her lover away. That last night with him? There was no protection, she thought she was safe as they had done it before but nothing had happened. But now, this happening at this time? The worst possible scenario.

"A month ago" Blake said softly as she looked down.

Yang looked at her friend and felt the sense of dread that enveloped her, hearing this news here and now with the dire situation that was going on. She couldn't imagine how hard that had to be on Blake at this moment.

"I can get you a test if you want certainty" Raven said, uncharacteristically helpful.

"You're not helping…" Yang said through gritted teeth.

Raven's cold eyes shifted to her daughter "look it's better that we know for certain. We aren't exactly in the right moment to worry about a pregnant person as well, there is a literal war above our heads Yang. We need to be prepared."

"Oh very rich coming from the one that runs away when things become hard" Yang responded angrily walking up towards her mother.

"Stop it please you both!" Blake yelled to them, taking the mother and daughter by surprise.

"Stop fighting please, this arguing is not going to solve anything so please just stop it! Go and fight out your issues somewhere else!" Blake almost shouted as she stomped of, leaving a bewildered mother and daughter behind. The two just looked at each other in confusion as Blake walked out of sight.

"Mood swings. Also a symptom" Raven bluntly said, causing an annoyed Yang to huff and walk off.

It had been hours since that exchange and Raven's "subtle" reveal of what she thought was going on. And Blake let what she said stir in her head as she lay on her bed. Her mind only thinking, twisting and to some extend blaming herself for this mess.

She hoped Raven was wrong about this. But to her credit all the signs where there so it was easy to conclude that it was the cause of her sudden nausea.

Blake hoped it wasn't true, begged that Raven had misread the signs. But that was a shallow hope.

She could feel it, her breasts where painfully sore, like they had become heavier, plus the nauseous feeling where all indicators of it.

"I really should do a test" she thought as she stared up at the ceiling.

And what if it was positive? What would she tell everyone, her parents, her team, her friends. And what about him? If he was even still alive…

Blake didn't want to think about that horrible reality, a reality where she would have to raise a child without their father.

A tear fell down Blake's cheek as she felt overwhelmed and trapped. She was stuck here, possibly pregnant, and the father of the child was nowhere in sight and possibly not around anymore. How would she continue on if this where the set of events that had led to this. And she allowed the tears to fall.

As she was lost in thought she heard the door open. She felt a presence drop on her bed as she looked up from her tear soaked eyes. She saw Milena in front of her, a box with a pregnancy test in her mouth and Raven Branwen standing behind her.

"How did you get it this fast?" Blake asked.

"I just flew out and got it," Raven answered shortly "it's up to you whether or not you want to go for it. Better to be in the know."

Milena slowly brought the box over to Blake who silently grabbed it. She looked into the feline's eyes, who seemed to know what was going on. Since the past month she had really come to understand the cat since it was living under their room. Milena had adjusted unexpectedly well, but it was clear she missed and didn't feel right without her owner around.

Blake looked at the box for probably a lot longer then she wanted before she made her decision.

In her private chambers aboard the Omnikronus, Supreme Chancellor Rosa Belrus silently looked over on multiple screens.

Her forces had managed to land a foot in seemingly the four major kingdoms of this world. A small step forward but a necessary one. It seemed the inhabitants of this world where quite different, many a human, but also many people with animal like characteristics. And quite a history behind them as well.

A history of violence and oppression. Which she could use.

The doors to her chambers opened up, the scarred man Gellin stepped forward, walking over the red carpet that adorned the floor befitting of the woman in charge. Her entire private chambers was like a queen's room, adorned with antiques and red velvet as far as the eye could see.

Gellin walked up to the Supreme Chancellor, whose hover chair turned towards him. The man went on one knee.

"Supreme Chancellor I brought you the one you wanted. The leader of the White Fang wishes to have an audience with you" Gellin said.

"Excellent. Bring me to him."

Flying her hover chair forward, Supreme Chancellor Belrus followed Gellin out of the chambers and through the hallway, where a variety of young soldiers, both men and woman were marching through. Belrus took note of them, particularly looking at the young boys walking past.

The poor unfortunate souls she had saved and loved.

Soon they both stood before a giant gateway. Gellin stepped forward, brandishing a key card and placing it on the scanner adjacent to the gateway. Metal clang and writhed as the gateway opened, revealing a huge hall in it stood two Conduit guards and one other man.

Clad in black and red with spiky red hair and his signature mask on his face. The leader of the White Fang, Adam Taurus.

The Supreme Chancellor smiled to herself as she hovered forward in her mechanical chair until she was close to the man and she observed him properly. She could feel it. The emotions boiling inside him, rage and hatred.

"Welcome aboard the Omnikronus Mr. Taurus" she spoke politely.

"So you're the one in charge here" the bull Faunus said rather abrasively, a fact not unnoticed by the big woman. Nevertheless she continued to smile.

"That is correct, my name is Rosa Belrus, the Supreme Chancellor of this organization. I was told you wished to have an audience with me. What can I help you with dear boy."

Adam Taurus started pacing on the spot as he spoke "you have been causing quite a bit of damage around Remnant. People are scared, running around like chickens without a head. You came out of nowhere and made…quite a strong statement."

Belrus made note of his tone of voice. It was dripping with venom, like it was infested in his blood.

"Scared…well I never meant to do that. I just wish to help the people of this world in any way I can" the Supreme Chancellor said, showing the White Fang leader another glowing smile.

Those his eyes could not be seen behind his mask, it was clear to the woman in charge that whatever he wanted, he wasn't buying what she told me.

"I've spent my life fighting for my people, and we were this close until you showed up. Your unexpected arrival ruined everything, I had the humans right under my thumb" Adam spoke up in a harsh tone.

The Supreme Chancellor said nothing, she only listened, almost intrigued by this man.

"But then I realized. Maybe, just maybe we can work together, combine our strengths. I have resources and loyal followers."

Once again the woman stayed quiet.

"I can help you with whatever you need and in return, you will help us."

And finally the Supreme Chancellor spoke, this time with a more direct tone of voice "what is it exactly that you want Mr. Taurus."

Adam grinned at hearing that, the woman was finally talking business. "I want a world for my people alone, a world for the Faunus, where humans won't discriminate or hurt us ANY LONGER!"

The sudden shout caught the guards behind him off guard, they were already on their way to grabbing their weapons until they saw a hand gesture from the Supreme Chancellor, telling them to remain standing and not do anything.

"I want them to feel like we have felt for years. And in return for that, we will help your endeavors for whatever you want for this world, I'll gladly give these humans to you."

The Supreme Chancellor observed the bull Faunus once more. She was studying him with intrigue. He was passionate, devoted. But unhinged.

"My dear boy, you have gone through so much haven't you?" the Supreme Chancellor asked with a sweet worried tone like that of a mother.

Adam was caught off guard by this question, he didn't see it coming, such a personal question from someone whom he considered to be all business.

"These humans took everything from me. My freedom! My heart! My Blake…everything!" he said, remaining seemingly calm but his voice was shaking, angry.

"I am so sorry to hear that my dear boy, I truly am. But…I don't see how we can be off help you."

Adam through his mask intensely stared at the woman. Gritting his teeth as she continued to speak.

"I feel for you dear boy, you have suffered so much and I wish I could take all that pain away. But you have nothing to offer me that I already have. I have resources, soldiers and technology far beyond yours. So I'm afraid I can't help you."

Adam's hand instinctively went towards his weapon, something that didn't go unnoticed by either the guards, Gellin or the Supreme Chancellor herself. But that didn't stop the big woman in charge from speaking.

"I grew up without much to my dear boy. I had to crawl my way to the top from nothing, it was a long and grueling journey but it was well worth it. The fact that as you claim humans had taken everything from you proves to me one simple truth. You are weak."

Adam's anger was burning and even with his eyes hidden everyone could feel it.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!"

The bull Faunus swiftly unsheathed his blade and swung it around to hit the two guards standing behind him, knocking them over like pins before his gaze turned towards the massive women in the floating chair. And he sprinted towards her.

Blade forward. Ready to strike.

He was close to her and he brought the blade down.

And then he didn't move.

Adam felt himself restricted by an invisible force, his blade was in his hands above his head and he was trapped in midair. A red aura emanating from the Supreme Chancellor, whom he was literally face to face with now.

"Tsk tsk," Belrus spoke "such bad manners dear boy. I had hoped better of you."

She extended out her arm to Gellin, who silently gave her one of the knives holstered around his belt. Belrus unsheathed the blade and softly placed the sharp edge only inches removed from Adam Taurus' exposed throat.

"This world belongs to me, as do all its people. Both humans and Faunus."

That sentence was followed by a swing of her arm. Adam Taurus gulped and gargled as a massive stream of blood flowed from his throat. He was unable to move, unable to stop it and he felt his vision become blurred and distorted.

Until there was nothing left.

The leader of the White Fang had fallen.
