Welcome to another chapter of Dimensional Rift! Enjoy!

It was a bad day for any Hogwarts student, but it was a really bad day for one Harry Potter. Their headmaster Albus Dumbledore had recently been replaced by the great pink toad, Dolores Umbridge. If only her poor taste in clothing was her only issue. Underneath that pink cardigan was a personality so rotten and evil Voldemort himself balked at her presence. Well probably not, but Harry liked to imagine it like that.

The back of his hands still ached from his latest detention with the new headmistress. Harry cursed underneath his breath as he sat by the lake. The weather had just recently warmed up and a gentle breeze drifted through the air. Harry enjoyed this little clearing by the lake, isolated from the rest of the school by the forbidden forest that surrounds it. Harry had stumbled across this clearing one day back in his fourth year and has since neglected to tell his best friends where it was. Because in the wake of all the drama and life-threatening adventures the clearing has been one of the few calming places left for him.

Harry smiled as he felt himself relax.

"I really should be heading back, Ron and Hermione will start to worry soon," Harry said. With a heavy sigh, the young teen slid off the rock and began to make his way back towards the castle.

Harry stopped as a loud thump echoed around him. Turning around Harry heard another thump. No, not heard, felt. Harry felt another thump echo within him as he stared at the rock he was once sitting on. Blue runes that Harry didn't recognize now glowed all over the rock, the glow pulsed with every thump that Harry felt. Harry backed away from the rock with his wand outstretched. A blue spell stayed on the tip of his wand as he watched the rock. Once Harry reached the edge of the clearing he could not back away anymore, something drew him to the rock. Magic so subtle yet so powerful rolled off in waves.

"There is absolutely no way no one else is not feeling this," Harry said as he stayed at the edge of the clearing.

Soon the rock started to hover in the air. As it continued to rise, Harry gaped at the pure black obelisk that was underneath the grey rock he sat on. The obelisk continued to rise until it was about seventeen feet in the air and the tip was about three feet from the ground. Suddenly the area before Harry was flooded with blue lights and a ring of runes glowed a deep blue on the ground.

Before Harry could say anything, a blue dome formed in a flash blinding Harry. Blinking away the stars in his eyes Harry was instantly tense as he pointed his wand in front of him.

"Okay, what the bloody hell is going on here?" Harry asked as he stared at the six strange figures that stood before him.

000

Lux blinked away the light until she could look at her surroundings once more. However, instead of the stone ruins that she was expecting, they were surrounded by a lush forest with a lake close by. The obelisk was now pointing upside down and the breeze was colder than it was before.

"Okay, what the bloody hell is going on here?"

Lux, and everyone else, turned towards the speaker to see a young boy pointing a stick at them. A blue light glowing from the tip. Lux could feel the magic swirling around the stick as she stared at the emerald green eyes that the young boy had.

Annie suddenly slid down Nautilu's arm and jumped onto the ground. Lux watched as the boy turned his wand to the little girl before his magic faded away. Yet, he never let his eyes leave any of the others as he watched Annie run over to him.

"Hello! My name is Annie. Have you met Tibbers?" Annie said as she held up her teddy bear to the stranger.

The boy stood for still for a brief moment before he crouched down and looked at Annie and Tibber.

"It's nice to meet you Tibbers and Annie, my name is Harry." The boy, Harry, said shaking Tibbers stuffed paw.

Annie giggled before she asked, "Do you want to play?"

Harry blinked before letting out a chuckle. As he stood back up, "Maybe later Annie, do you think you could tell me what's going on here?"

Before Annie could answer Ryze spoke, "We were teleported here because of some ancient magic that surrounded that obelisk." Ryze pointed at the upside-down obelisk that was sinking into the ground. "The name is Ryze kid. Mind telling us where we are."

Harry stared at all of them until he shrugged, "You're at Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry. We are currently in Scotland."

No one said anything before Kassadin stepped forward. "Sadly, that doesn't help us, we are unfamiliar with this, Hogwarts and Scotland you speak of."

"And you are?" Harry asked with a raised brow.

"I am Kassadin, the girl on the horse is Lux, the other one is Kai'Sa, and the metal giant is Nautilus," Kassadin said with a wave of his sword arm.

"It is nice to meet all of you," Harry said with a tilt of his head, "and I am sorry that does not help you. Maybe it will best you came with me to the castle, someone there should be able to help you return to your homes."

Lux saw everyone sharing a look before she rode forward.

"Will they be okay with magic users here?" Lux asked palming her staff.

"Well, it is a school for witches and wizards so yes…" Harry started before trailing off. "However, now that I think about it. The headmistress is an… unreasonable and cruel person. And she will not take kindly to any strangers especially ones as… unique as all of you."

Kai'Sa snorted, "No need to watch your words with us. I am sure I heard all the insults one could make on my appearance."

"Why are you… out here… so late… You should be asleep…" Nautilus spoke for the first time.

Everyone was quiet as Harry looked away from them and back at the castle.

"Like I said the headmistress is a cruel woman and doesn't take kindly to those who aren't… aligned with her way of thinking," Harry said as he rubbed the back of his right hand.

Even in the moonlight, the scars were visible to everyone, though they couldn't read what it said. Annie grabbed his hand and stared at it. Harry blushed refusing to look at her as she traced the scar.

"What does it say?" Annie said her eyes watery.

"I must not tell lies," Harry said, his voice hitching.

Lux's eyes narrowed as she felt the light in her burn at the injustice that faced this young man. Annie instantly hugged Harry's waist which caused Harry to tense before he had one hand rubbing her back and another patting her head. Ryze had a deep frown as his tattoos flared. Kassadin had purple electricity dancing around him. Kai'Sa's skin was writhing as her shoulder appendages glowed a deep purple. Even Nautilus had a reaction to Harry's word. His eyes were pulsing frequently as the light shown from the cracks of his suit of armor.

"To carve such words into one so young, she truly a despicable woman. Why has no one stopped her?" Kassadin asked as purple electricity danced off his sword.

Harry sighed and continued to look out at the lake, "Because our government is nothing but a bunch of corrupt sheep who are more concerned about their image than doing what needs to be done. And this…monster has the backing of head sheep. No one can do anything, or they risk being thrown into prison with creatures that eat souls."

"What kind of creatures?" Kai'Sa asked.

Harry stared at her before speaking, "They are called dementors, creatures able to suck warmth and happiness with their mere presence and to make you relive your worst memory. They can also do something called a 'dementor's kiss' which is just them sucking the soul out of the body."

"Wouldn't that just like an empty husk left?" Lux asked as she watched Kai'Sa eyes narrow.

"That's the point, the worst kind of punishment," Harry said.

No one said a thing, even Annie was silent as she hugged Harry. Harry for his part had a small smile as he continued to pat her head.

Suddenly, an arrow came flying out of the trees at Kai'Sa. Kai'Sa jumped away, but it was for naught as Nautilus stood in front of her. The arrow bounced off Nautilus and with pulsing red eyes, Nautilus launched his anchor into the woods breaking the trees in its path. Centaurs galloped out of the way before drawing their bows again. Kassadin disappeared into a purple opening before coming out of another one next to a centaur. Ryze was gathering magic in hands while Kai'Sa was hovering in the air, glowing purple once more. Lux's staff was glowing as she hopped down from her horse. While Annie stood in front of Harry, fire danced off her in large waves.

"Enough!" Harry said, his voice echoing throughout the forest. "Kassadin, Nautilus, enough you made your point. Kai'Sa, Ryze, Lux, please stop charging your magic, they already hate witches and wizards." Harry commanded before he moved in front of Annie and crouched down in front of her. "Do you think you can reign in your fire for a little bit, please? If anything happens to me, feel free to burn them then, okay?"

Annie just stared at Harry before her flames faded away. Her own emerald eyes shined as she smiled up at Harry. She nodded her head before smiling as Harry patted her head.

Harry stood back up and faced the gathered group of centaurs. He walked towards the one standing in front of the group. Kassadin and Ryze immediately took the places to Harry's right and left respectively.

Harry gave them a raised eyebrow before he motioned them to stay back. They paused before complying with his request.

"Bane I did not expect to meet you tonight, what brings you this clearing?" Harry asked giving the dark-haired centaur a bow.

"Harry Potter, the planets foretold of foreigners coming to this land. Beings from the beyond have no place here," Bane said giving Kai'Sa a glare. "If you know what is good, you would dispatch of that creature immediately."

"That is rather rude of you Bane, Kai'Sa is no more a creature than you are. You should treat her with the same respect that you wish to be treated with." Harry said with a frown. "You are the one who came shooting, you should at least apologize to her."

"I will never apologize to such a creature!" Bane spat.

Before Harry could speak he caught Kai'Sa's eyes and shake of her head. With a sigh, Harry looked back at Bane.

"Fine, however, any more attempts at her life will be met with force," Harry said.

"You and what army little wizard?" Bane said with a scoff.

Harry raised an eyebrow before pointing over his shoulder, "I believe that metal giant and the armored warrior would have taken you all out without a scratch. That's not even counting the other three witches and wizards who looked ready to kill."

Bane looked at all of them before paling. The magic that surrounded all of them was terrifying. Bane looked towards the night sky before he scoffed and turned away from the magic users.

"Even Mars knows how foolish provoking a fight with you would be. We will leave you be wizard, but understand, you will never be welcomed on our lands so long as I have something to say about it."

With those parting words, Bane and the centaurs galloped away deeper into the Forbidden Forest.

"What a nice bunch of folks," Ryze said crossing his arms. The glow of his blue tattoos faded away.

"I can't really blame them. Wizards have been suppressing their kind for years. Of course, they would hate us and anything to do with us." Harry said before he walked over to Annie. He picked her up with surprising ease and put her on his shoulders. Annie giggled as she hugged Harry's head.

"I can sneak us back into the castle to rest for the night, but I don't think Nautilus would fit," Harry said.

"It is okay… I will rest… in the lake…" Nautilus said before walking towards the body of water.

"Okay then Nautilus, try to avoid the center of the lake. There is a village of merpeople there and I doubt they would take kindly to your presence. There is also a giant squid too, but he is friendly."

Nautilus nodded his head and with a wave goodbye, that had Annie eagerly waving back with both hands, Nautilus was gone into the inky waters with nothing but a faint green glow.

They waited for a second before he beckoned the rest forward.

"Come on, it's really late and I think it'd be best for us to get some rest. Lux, you can leave your horse at my friend's hut. It will be along the way, and your horse will most certainly be properly cared for."

With that, Harry turned towards the castle with a strange entourage behind him. With a deep sigh that had the girl on his shoulder giggling, Harry marched forward already feeling a headache form from everything that had happened.

So we have reached the end of another chapter. As you can see, this story is set in Hary's fifth year. Sometime after Dumbledore was replaced. I think there are some interesting things that can be done by mixing the two worlds together and somehow making them connected, but we see.

I hope you are enjoying the story!
