Nine years later at Ever After High, a few days had passed since everyone had gone on the trip to Neverland.
"Mm," said Apple as she started to wake up.
"Morning sleepy head," said Raven as she walked over from her side.
"How long have you been up for?" asked Apple as she slowly sat up while holding her right side which still hurt like heck.
"An hour, I thought I'd let you sleep in a little more," said Raven who was already dressed for the day ahead.
"You might not feel pain, but you need your rest too, the curse still takes a toll on your body," said Apple as she got out of bed and walked over to kiss her girlfriend.
"And I've lived with it long enough to know my limits," said Raven.
"Alright, if you say so; and can I just say that I still can't believe it's thanks to your curse of not feeling pain that led to us dating?" asked Apple.
"Yeah, that was a big shock," said Raven as she thought months back.
"I can't believe she's flirting with him during a game," thought Raven as she stood on the sideline of a bookball practice while Apple was further down yelling to Daring on the field and cheating him on.
"Show them what you got, Daring!" she said as the Charming caught the ball and started running down the field. The blonde's attention was then taken away from the field from the sound of her mirrorphone getting a hext.
"Apple!" said Raven as she noticed that Daring wasn't paying attention to the sideline but Hunter and Sparrow who were chasing after him and heading for the blonde. Luckily the witch made it in time to push the princess out of the way but took the blow from the three boys herself.
"Dear Godmother," said Briar as everyone looked on in horror.
"Is everyone alright?" asked Raven as she sat up after the boys got off of her.
"Raven don't move!" said a horrified Apple. This is when Raven noticed that her shin bone of her right leg had broken in half and was sticking out as blood squirted from the wound.
"Great," said Raven with no sign of pain or worry but instead as if she didn't even care.
