Greetings, readers! As stated in the summary, I will write down the full summary of this novelization:

Long, long ago, a war erupted on the Surface. The Goddess Hylia rose a piece of land to the skies to protect her people.

A long time after that, Link, a 17-year-old boy and his childhood friend, Zelda, who is also 17, live a peaceful life. On the day of the Wing Ceremony, the ceremony that was always held for the students of Skyloft to start knighthood, Link is confronted with a heavy destiny. He discovers he is the Chosen Hero, chosen by no other than Hylia herself, who was reborn as the Zelda he knows. Because of that, she's swept away from Link to the land below, a land the Skyloftian people didn't even believe existed. Link embarks on a great journey, accompanied by Fi, the mysterious soul of the Goddess Sword, whose sole purpose is to guide Link, in which he will risk his life just to save the one he loves.

This is the first reincarnation of the Goddess and the Chosen Hero.

A retelling of the game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Prologue and Information

This is a tale that you humans have passed down through uncounted generations...

It tells of a war of unmatched scale and ferocity, the likes of which would never be seen again.

One dark, fateful day, the earth cracked wide and malevolent forces rushed forth from the fissure.

They mounted a brutal assault upon the surface people, driving the land into deep despair...

They burnt forests to ash, choked the land's sweet springs, and murdered without hesitation.

They did all this in their lust to take the ultimate power protected by Her Grace, the goddess.

The power she guarded was without equal.

Handed down by gods of old, this power gave its holder the means to make any desire a reality.

Such was the might of the ultimate power that the old ones placed in the care of the goddess.

To prevent this great power from falling into the hands of evil swarming the lands...

...the goddess gathered the surviving humans on an outcropping of earth.

She sent it skyward, beyond the reach of the demonic hordes. Beyond even the clouds.

With the humans safe, the goddess joined forces with the land dwellers and fought the evil forces, sealing them away.

At last, peace was restored to the surface.

This is a tale that you humans have told for many ages, generation to generation...

But there are other legends, long hidden away from memory, that are intertwined with this tale.

Now, a new legend bound to this great story stands ready to be revealed.

A legend that will be forged by your own hand...

~~~•~~~
First of all, I want to say that this is a novelization. So, if you read "What Makes a Hero", by Selphie Kinneas 175, you'll know how this is going to work (if you are a Zelda fan, you DEFINATELY NEED to read it! It's a must for me!!!):
- Fairies exist, but they do NOT heal a person
- Potions don't heal hearts. For example, one works like a painkiller. Other like an antidote. Another like anesthesia. So if our dear Link gets hurt, he'll have to recover like a normal person of our world, which may take him some days or a couple of weeks, depending in what injury is inflicted on him.
- Magic needs to exist, therefore, the pouch's magical super big space for weapons like the Gust Bellows, the Clawshots or the Bow and arrows fit inside. No questions? Perfect!
- The shield... ahh, the shield. If it receives damage, he WILL be able to fix it with a Revitalizing potion. But it'll work like this: it's going to be like glue, of sorts. Or like cement. Imagine a deep scratch. You take some of that potion, pour it inside the crack and let it solidify. And that's that.
And that's about it. Oh, and the dowsing thing. To change the dowsing target, Link will just ask Fi about it.
This is my first project. I'll try to update as much as possible. It will be difficult, but I'll never drop it. I have to balance school and all.
Also, quick reminder that my native language is Spanish (the one we talk in Spain). I've studied English since I was three, in kindergarten. And at home, with my sister (If you read this, just know that I love you and thanks for helping me when I was just a little girl). It won't change the fact that I may make mistakes, so if you see something that's wrong, tell me in the comments. Replies are welcome, but be nice with everyone. We don't want fight, do we now?
