It was just a car crash. Well she wasn't the one in the car she was the one on the sidewalk that the car crashed into but she still believed it counted as a car crash.

Annoyingly it had happened on a main road meaning that people were around who saw the whole thing and phoned an ambulance. With no money Lillia had tried to run away from the scene but that was hard on a broken ankle.

She got about two steps in before giving up and trying to crawl though that caused more of a scene.

No one had been seriously injured and there had only been a concussion for the driver of the car and a broken ankle for her which was going to cost her thousands.

The ambulance drive was mainly full of doctors trying to keep her calm while she just glared at them annoyed. Years of training at the orphanage meant that she could hide any fear she felt pretty well.

They had asked her name which she had given though didn't give a last name since technically she didn't have one and she was planning on calling Skye anyways. They had also asked her age which she had to lie about. Seventeen was a respectable age to be left home alone for a week. In reality Lillia knew her age was closer to fourteen.

Once at the hospital she stayed silent. They x-rayed her and put her ankle and half of her leg in a cast as it turned out that she had badly broken her ankle.

After all that they said that they were done and that she was free to go but only when her parents picked her up. Having no parents meant that if they really did mean what they said then she would never be leaving the hospital. That was why she laughed slightly when they told her this.

Instead of telling the nurse that she was an orphan she asked if she could borrow a phone. The nurse handed her one with a smile and stayed in the room while Lillia texted Skye.

An hour later and Skye appeared at the foot of the bed that she was lying on with a concerned expression on her face. A nurse had entered the room behind her.

"Seriously! I am gone for two hours to do some shopping and you get into a car crash?!"

Lillia just rolled her eyes and smiled. She had no idea if the concern in Skye's voice was real or being faked for the nurse.

"I wasn't in a car crash since I wasn't in a car."

"Well a car crashed into you and so that counts as a car crash!"

The nurse quickly stepped in front of Skye in order to get her attention.

"I am sorry Miss…?"

"Call me Daisy."

"Right? Well I need you to sign some forms before I can let Lillia go."

Skye nodded her head and took the clipboard with forms attached to it from the nurse before sitting down in the chair next to the bed Lillia was lying on. She started to fill them out and didn't say a word until the nurse left the room.

"So… I have hardly heard from you in the last two years and then you text me saying that you need help bailing yourself out of hospital?"

Lillia sighed and looked down.

"They weren't going to let me go until my parents arrived."

Skye sighed as she continued to fill out the forms.

"That sucks."

"Tell me about it. Anyways I don't have the money right now to pay for all of this but I promise I will pay you back and you only need to drive me a few blocks away from the hospital and then I can walk from there since they are going to give me crutches."

Skye shot her a disbelieving look.

"You really think that I am just going to leave you alone with a broken ankle?"

Lillia looked at her directly in the eyes in order to convey the hurt that she felt.

"You left me alone all these years so I wouldn't put it past you."

She saw Skye flinch.

"I am sorry. I have had a job for a year now and the job means that I am away a lot and don't have much time to think. When we first started texting again I thought you were still in the system. Lil you are fourteen. You shouldn't have to fend for yourself."

Lillia sighed and sank back onto the bed.

"I didn't really have a choice. You know how the system is."

"I know."

They stayed in silence until Skye had finished filling out the papers. She then left the room and handed them to a nurse.

When she returned she was pushing a wheel chair in front of her.

"Nope. Not happening. Where are my crutches?"

Skye smiled and laughed slightly but wheeled the wheelchair until it was directly next to Lillian's bed.

"You are not going to be given your crutches for at least a week. I know about the broken rib."

Lillia immediately sighed out in annoyance.

"Great."

To her surprise, when Skye wheeled her up to a car it was not a taxi, nor was it the van that she knew she had bought. It was a sleek black car with tinted windows.

Lillia looked up at Skye with one eyebrow raised.

"Are you trying to kidnap me?"

Skye smiled slyly before opening the passenger seat door.

"Just get in."

Lillia smirked but the smirk was quickly wiped off of her face for a look of annoyance when she realised that she would need Skye's help with getting into the car.

They drove for about 5 minutes before one of them spoke again.

"You can drop me off here. It's far enough away from the hospital that no one will recognise you or me."

Skye sighed and shook her head with a small smile.

"Not going to happen. I left you once before and I am not going to do that again. Besides I know the team will love you."

"So this is a kidnapping…"

Skye heard her and saw her face light up with a small smile and her shoulders sink in relief.

It took an hours drive to get to the base and most of it was in silence. They just spent the journey enjoying each other's company.

When they reached the base, Skye drove straight into the hanger and parked the car before getting out of it and pulling Lillia's wheelchair out of the trunk.

The passenger door was already open when she reached that side and started to help Lillia into the wheelchair.

It seemed as if, once Lillia had sunk into her chair, May, Coulson, Hunter and Bobbie appeared. Hunter and Bobbie both had beers in their hands and were standing behind Coulson and May who both had their arms crossed.

"Whose this?"

Coulson spoke once Skye had wheeled Lillia closer towards them.

"Someone I know…"

She was about to continue but Lillia saw her opportunity to mess with these people and took it.

"I am so sorry to take up your time but I was kidnapped from a hospital of all places! If this person really knew me then she would at least know my birthday and my last name…"

Lillia trailed off while everyone else turned to look at Skye. She was a good actor and only May saw through the lie but pretended to act like she didn't to see what would happen next. Bobbie and Hunter stayed quite while May and Coulson glared slightly at Skye.

"Seriously!"

Lillia just grinned at the annoyance in Skye's voice.

"She does have a fair point Daisy. Surely if you knew her enough to trust her and bring her here then you know her last name and birthday."

Lillia looked up at Skye shocked when she heard what Coulson said.

"Daisy…? You found them?"

Daisy nodded and Lillia smiled sadly.

"Wish I could say the same."

She said it quietly enough so that only Daisy could hear her. Before any tears or emotions could be shed Hunter stepped in.

"I am sorry but what is your surname then and your birthday if Daisy doesn't know it?"

"Well my surname is Potter and my birthday is the 31st of July."

Lillia grinned but May could see the pain behind her words.

"Lils stop messing with them."

At that Lillia turned in the chair to look at Daisy.

"You know that could be my surname and birthday. You never know."

She shrugged her shoulder while everyone else tried to piece together what she meant.

"So you don't have a surname or a birthday?"

"Nope. The luxury of being an orphan."

Daisy rolled her eyes at Lillia's comment as she had heard it so many times before though she did understand that pain was what drove those words.

"It's not like you know my surname or birthday…"

"4th of July and your surname is Hall."

Lillia didn't even have to think about it and said it as soon as Daisy had muttered the words.

"Actually your not far off. My birthday is July 2nd and my full name is Daisy Louise Johnson."

Lillia smiled but watched the others in the hangar carefully as Daisy's gaze had shifted when she had said her full name. Lillia looked over to see who she was looking at and saw that it was two people. A white man in a suit and an Asian woman in a badass tactical gear. Looking between the two of them and Daisy she started to see the resemblance.

She reached for the wheels of the wheelchair and started to push them forwards but found that she couldn't. Turning around she saw Daisy holding her chair in place with her eyebrow raised.

"Fine! Can you push me over to those two people there who I am assuming are agents and knowing that my assumption is correct that would make you an agent which we will be talking about later but first I need to talk to them."

Daisy sighed and rolled her eyes at Lillia's protectiveness.

"Fine but don't you dare pull any stunts like you did on Sister Margret."

Lillia smiled at the memory while Daisy pushed her over to the two agents.

"She had it coming…"

Even Daisy had to smile at that. They stopped when they were just in front of the two agents.

"Please could you two lean down since I would prefer not to have to look up constantly and I don't think Daisy will let me out of this wheelchair."

Both agents leaned down until their faces were level with Lillia's. They didn't even have a chance to think before Lillia's expression changed and her fist connected with the female agents nose. She managed to punch the man in the face too before Daisy pulled her away.

"Nice punch!"

Everyone heard what Hunter said but payed little attention to it though Bobbie did punch him in the ribs to shut him up.

"How dare you leave Daisy in an orphanage and how dare you leave no trace of your existence for her to find! You should have been there for her! She shouldn't of had too…"

"Lillia they are not my parents and you said you wouldn't pull a sister Margaret!"

Daisy statement shut Lillia up.

"They're not?"

"No. My actual mum is dead and my actual dad got his memory wiped."

Lillia continued to glare at the two agents and didn't offer an apology. She could tell from one look that they were Daisy's parents even if they weren't related and wasn't about to take back what she said.

"After you have shown me to a room that I can stay in we are having a long meaningful talk with no lies and only the truth."

She looked back at Daisy as she spoke and Daisy just sighed and nodded her head before wheeling Lillia towards the exit of the room.

"Hey! How come you get to stay here without any discussion first?"

Hunter was the one to open his mouth but no one stopped him since they all wanted to know the answer but for different reasons.

"Because I am an orphan and are you really going to kick an orphan out back onto the streets?"

Lillia smirked while Daisy just rolled her eyes again before they disappeared out of the hangar and into the corridor.
