Kara was babysitting her five-year-old goddaughter, Una Haddock. Her father was working at City Hall. Valka had taken Boden to the dentist to get his cavities filled. Hiccup and his friends were having a study session at the library.

So Kara volunteered to babysit Una. Una didn't mind spending the afternoon with her godmother. They'd gone to Walmart to get a few supplies and groceries Valka needed.

Una brought her favorite toy along, a hand-stitched rainbow-colored dragon doll. Her mommy made it for her when she was born. So it meant a lot to Una. While Kara was looking at bags of spinach, she heard Una screaming and crying loudly. Despite being five? Una didn't throw tantrums like most kids her age would.

Knowing Una only would be screaming if something was wrong, her godmother quickly looked up. Una was bawling her eyes out, and it didn't take the former Valkyrie long to figure out why.

She noticed a middle-aged blond-haired woman dashing away with a familiar doll in her cart. Abandoning her shopping cart, she quickly picked up Una to confront the thief.

The woman was trying to get a discount on Una's doll. Kara snatched it back, and a screaming match ensued. Finally, a manager came trying to defuse the situation. Eventually, they called a security guard.

Kara showed on her smartphone several pictures of Una's dolls. As well as the other dragon dolls Valka had made for her sons. However, Una started crying again. The stupid manager had already sold the stolen toy to the woman. Without even checking the CCTV! He hadn't followed any proper procedure! Both the cashier and security guard admonished him for his stupidity. It seemed there be hell to pay for him.

Kara was forced to tell Valka that someone had stolen her daughter's favorite toy. Valka was so pissed off that she threatened to sue the manager for his incompetence. Luckily before that happened, a friend of the entitled woman forced her to return the toy.

It was damaged but repairable. The manager was still fired, and the woman was charged with theft. So they both got their comeuppance. Una, on the other hand? She was thankful to have her doll back once her mother fixed it.
