AN: This is very different from my previous work, since it's a totally different universe. As I mentioned in my last AN, I have been getting back into Star Wars lately, and I have a couple of stories within the Star Wars universe, that I hopefully will post soon. Harry Potter fans, dont worry, I have an idea for a much bigger story, but I'm not quite done with planning it. But if you have a prompt, I will love to give it a crack. Could be both HP And SW.

AN2: You will need to be familair with Star Wars The Clone Wars and the prequel trilogy. And there will contain spoilers for season 5 of that show. Anyway, I hope you enjoy :D

Set at the end of season 5, where Ahsoka had just refused to come back into the Jedi order, after being framed for murder by Bariss Offee.

"Ahsoka wait," Anakin yelled.

Ahsoka turned around to face her former master, "Anakin, you can't convince me."

"Why are you doing this,"

"If the council didn't trust me, how can I trust myself?"

"What about all those who believed in you? There were plenty of Jedi that voiced their support to me."

"But never directly to me."

"I believed in you."

"I know, and I will forever be grateful. I can't stay."

"Please Ahsoka, stay. The order needs someone as strong as you, Rex needs you. I need you."

"I wished I could stay, but I can't dedicate my life to people who don't trust me."

"I understand it. Sometimes I also wonder whether the order is right for me."

"I know Master. But you always had Obi-Wan to confide in. Apart from the three years together with you, I haven't really had anyone. I have felt like I didn't belong for quite some time."

"I know, and I haven't been able to confide in Obi-Wan as much as you may think. I haven't felt like I belonged either."

"What do you mean?"

"If I can prove my trust to you, will you then reconsider joining?"

"Depends how deep your trust actually goes."

"Just wait and see. Take a trip with me"

"How is a trip going to help me regain trust in the order," Ahsoka asked as the speeder took off

"This trip isn't about regaining trust in the order. Quite the opposite, but I'm hoping your trust in me will convince you to stay," Anakin smirked. "At least for a few more years."

"I don't understand."

"You will soon enough."

"Can't you just explain it?"

"Nope, the impact would be bigger in person. And combine this with your knighthood and the freedom that follows it. I do believe that you will be persuaded."

"I doubt it master."

"Let's see, snips," Anakin pulled the speeder up to an apartment complex on 500 Republica. Taking the normal entrance, instead of the one he usually took on his trips alone to this place.

The former master and padawan made their way through the building, before reaching an elevator, "Who lives here? The chancellor?" Ahsoka questioned.

"Someone far more important," Anakin grinned.

As the elevator opened, it revealed a small hallway, only containing two doors, one to each side. "I'm so confused," Ahsoka commented as they stepped out.

"Good. But swear to me, that you won't tell anyone about this. Not Obi-Wan, not Rex, not Master Plo. No one. No matter if you end up leaving the order or staying. This can't get out. Do you understand me?"

"Yes, master. I'm beginning to get worried."

As they entered the apartment to the left, Anakin yelled "I'm home."

Home, what was he talking about, Ahsoka thought. Who could it be now that his mother was dead? Although he refrained from talking about her, she knew he had died prior to the war. Ahsoka had never felt more confused.

"Stay here, and observe," Anakin whispered with a grin.

Anakin went into a room and had disappeared from her line of sight, but she could hear him talk to another person. A woman. He then proceeded to accompany the woman into the living room, where Ahsoka could see them from her place at the entrance. As they reached the middle of the room, they kissed? Ahsoka was stunned, but she couldn't figure out who this mysterious woman was. And why she was kissing her master. When they finally broke apart, the woman's face was revealed to Ahsoka, it was Padmé. She couldn't believe it. Her master and Senator Amidala? She had noticed their close connection, but she had just thought they were friends. Ahsoka had questioned Padmé about their friendship before, and she revealed that they cared about each other, deeply. But they never acted on their feelings, deciding that the republic came first.

"Herm, herm," Ahsoka decided that it was time to intervene, she was still confused about the situation, and desperately needed an explanation.

"Uh, Hi Ahsoka. General Skywalker and I were just discussing... politics," the senator stuttered. "What are you doing here?"

"Actually, I brought her here. She was going to leave the order, and this was the only way I thought might convince her otherwise?"

"So, she knows?"

"Know I do," Ahsoka confirmed with a sly smile.

"It would have been nice if you had told me in advance. My heart almost stopped beating," Padmé gave Anakin a fierce glance.

"Now, where would the fun be in that?" He grinned "Well, I think introductions are in order. Ahsoka meet-"

"Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo." Ahsoka interrupted him, "I know who she is."

"My wife," Anakin finished with a smile.

"Your what?"

"You heard it correctly. We are married, and have been for 2 years."

"You have been married, all the time I have known you?"

"Yes, we got married a few days after the war started. The mission you were assigned to me, was my first mission as a married man."

"But you are a Jedi? How is it possible?"

"Well, no use in hiding it now. I will make some tea, and you can get the full story." Padmé sighed.

"Who knows?" Ahsoka asked her former master.

"You, R2, C3-PO, and the man who married us."

"What will happen if you get caught?"

"I'm not sure. I will probably be expelled, and live out the rest of my days here, and on Naboo. Depending on whether Padmé keeps her seat."

"I have so many questions. I don't know where to start."

"Let's wait with the rest until my lovely wife joins us," Anakin grinned.

"I bet you have wanted to say that for a long time,"

"Two years," he laughed

After Padmé served the tea, she sat down beside her husband. Way too close for Ahsokas liking.

"So have you two?" Ahsoka asked suggestively

"That is not very ladylike. Seriously, Ani. I thought you had taught her manners." She glanced at him and sighed "But to answer your question, yes. We are a married couple. No more questions about that matter."

"Ani?" Ahsoka struggled to hold back her laughter.

"It was a nickname she picked up when we met 12 years ago. And don't even think about using it. My wife is the only one that can use it."

"Why is she the only one that can use it?"

"I'm scared of her. She is deadly!" Anakin's comment earned him a slight slap on the shoulder from his wife.

"What do you call her?"

"Angel," Padmé replied. Anakin blushed. "The first thing he ever said to me was "Are you an angel?"

"Really?" Ahsoka burst into laughter.

"Give me a break, I was nine. And she was the queen of Naboo. I had to get her attention"

"But you didn't know that at the time."

"That doesn't matter. It worked perfectly. I had to make sure you remembered me."

"Why wouldn't I remember you? You practically saved my regency as queen. I probably wouldn't have been popular, if the blockade didn't resolve itself. And you got us off Tatooine."

"You are right, I'm awesome," Anakin smirked, bending down to kiss her.

"Herm, herm."

"Oh, yeah sorry. I usually don't have to think about others when we are husband and wife, not senator and Jedi."

"So, why haven't I heard the story about you saving Naboo?"

"You know me Snips, I don't like to brag."

"Yeah, right. Padmé?" Ahsoka diverted her attention to the more trustworthy of the couple.

"Okay, okay. I don't like talking about my life before the order, but since you know about us. You might as well know about the Naboo crisis," Anakin conceded, wanting to control the details himself.

"I have heard the general story, but neither you nor Obi-Wan has given me details."

"Yeah. Obi-Wan doesn't like talking about it either, his old master died in the conflict. He was supposed to be my master."

"I didn't know that."

"Why would you?"

"I don't know. I guess it would have been nice to know how almost became my grandmaster?"

"Grandmaster?"

"I just thought of it. Like grandparents, but master instead."

"There are a few problems with it. Firstly, Yoda is already the grandmaster of the Jedi order. And secondly, my grandmaster would have been Count Dooku, had Qui-Gon not died."

"Really?"

"Yeah, he was the master of Qui-Gon Jin."

"Interesting. I didn't know that. Back to the story."

"How much do you know?" Padmé asked.

"That there was a blockade of Naboo, Qui-Gon, and Obi-wan landing on Tatooine, finding Anakin. And then the battle with the Sith.

"So, the legendary tales of my podracing have not reached your ears?" Anakin tried to look offended.

Anakin proceeded to talk about podracing for the next half an hour, explaining the mechanics of the pod in detail, much to Padmé's dismay, but Ahsoka seemed to be interested, so she didn't bother interrupting them. She let her mind drift off to the next senate voting, and how she could get the votes required until a metallic hand touched her knee.

"And then I met Padmé," Anakin smiled and looked over at his wife, who snapped back into reality. "I didn't know she was a queen until much later, I thought she was one of the queen's handmaidens, that were just curious about the planet," He continued.

"And then you fell in love, and have been together ever since," Ahsoka guessed.

"Well, not exactly. I did develop feelings for her during our time together. But I didn't recognize them as feelings until much later, you have to remember, I was only nine when I met her."

"What about you?" Ahsoka asked the senator.

"As my husband said, he was only nine, and I was fourteen. So, I didn't fall in love until later. But he did make an impression," Padmé smiled.

"And then we met again 10 years later, we had seen each other throughout coruscant, but not had the opportunity to talk. Obi-Wan and I were assigned as her protectors. And while he was trying to find information on who was after her, Padmé and I went to Naboo."

"Have you met her family?" Ahsoka asked

"Yes, we had dinner with them during our stay on Naboo. But I haven't met them as Padmé's husband. They don't know we are married. But once this war ends, we are planning on revealing it to them."

"It was during our time on Naboo, that I fell in love. And after Obi-Wan got captured we went to save him, and then the first battle of Geonosis happened," Padme continued.

"So, you two lovebirds are the reason behind the clone wars," Ahsoka teased.

"Well, the conflict was on its way. It would have happened regardless. But technically, yes. Obi-Wan's capture and our rescue attempt were what started the first battle of Geonosis," Anakin responded.

"And Anakin escorted me home after the war, and we got married in secret. No living person except the people in this room knows for sure, excluding the man who married us."

"So, I'm the only other person that knows?"

"Yes, I'm unsure whether my handmaidens know, and there are a couple of other people that are suspicious. But none of them know for certain, I think."

"Would you have told me, if I hadn't decided to leave the order?"

"At some point. But probably not until the war has ended," Anakin confessed.

"This explains so much. The shadow virus and all those other missions involving you two. Anakin's emotions always seemed different.

"Have our story convinced you?" Padmé asked.

"Yes, I had serious doubts when Anakin told me that he would change my mind, but I think he did accomplish it. I will meditate on it, just to be sure, but you should expect me back."

"I'm glad to hear that Snips," Anakin was smiling from ear to ear.

"You are welcome to stay here", Padmé offered

"No, it's alright. I want to explore the city as a citizen, not a Jedi. Just for one night, then tomorrow, we will tell the council together." Ahsoka excused. "And I wouldn't want to ruin one of your few nights as husband and wife," She teased."

The pair both blushed, as Ahsoka stood up to leave. "It was nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Skywalker," she continued her teasing.

"I look forward to seeing you again, Knight Tano," Padmé smiled.

"I'm glad you convinced me, Ani," Ahsoka looked at her master.

"Because you are coming back, I will allow that one. But if you say it again, it will have serious consequences. Consider that my last lesson, my soon-to-be former padawan."
