GammaTron: This is Day 11 of Mega May for me, a challenge to write either a chapter for a Megaman fanfic or post a new Megaman fanfic or post a piece of Megaman art related to a story involving Megaman I'm writing or helped write. A few years back, I made this a sorta one-shot to see if I could do something of an idea like this. Will be restoring this and working on it along with a myriad of other Battle Network-related ideas that I've been having since March of 2022. For this one, it takes place during the events of Battle Network 6, specifically during the moment Circusman unleashed Gregar and Falzar. But instead of one of them getting absorbed, they'll prove why they are the monsters that wrecked the internet in the past. I'll also be testing the waters with only Japanese dub names for the cast. This will be my first time doing so, so please be kind. I'll make sure to provide translations for names at the end of the chapters. I do not own Battle Network aka RockmanEXE. It's owned by CAPCOM. I only own my own OCs used for this. I will also note that the characters have been aged up by a few years and some backgrounds have been altered and that I may not give descriptions of the main characters for this at times considering how iconic they are to the Battle Network community.

Hi! I'm Netto. Hello! I'm Meiru! This is our story from when we were fourteen and fifteen respectively. It was a really strange time not just for us, but for who I saw as my sister and for Netto-kun's brother. I guess we should start explaining, then. We should probably start when I was one and Meiru-chan was two. Uhn. It all started with Netto-kun's tou-san and my onii-chan.

"Dammit!"

*SMASH!*

"Gah! Yuichichi, what the hey?! You nearly took my head off with that monitor, bakayaro!"

"Hm? Ah! Skye-kun…uh…s-sorry. Just…I just can't figure this out."

"Hm? …Are you modifying this Force Program…for a NetNavi?"

*sigh* "Leave it to you to figure things out with a single look…"

"Hmm…Okay! I'll help ya, but I want a copy to make one for my baby sis with my girlfriend!"

"Wh-what?!"

"What? You get help for whatever's going on, I get my baby sis a NetNavi with a fun activity to do with my girlfriend. Win-win. …Yuichiro-san."

"..."

"...You're doing this because of…"

"...Yes…"

"...Make sure you have Netto-chan and Haruka-nee here when you activate him. This is a family thing and you can keep it secret from Netto-chan until he's old enough, but not to Haruka-nee. She's their Kaa-san."

"...Alright…Thank you."

"Anytime, sempai."

[Present Day]

"Ahoo, hoo, hoo!-!-!" Circusman laughed as he absorbed the last of the data of the NetNavis scattered about, "Oh, now that was a real showstopper!"

"Circusman, begin the operation!" Chirol ordered, "The seal is only going to be down for a little while. Give them those tama no chikari, and they will arise!"

"Ahoo, hoo, hoo!-! Ladies and Gentlemen! Children of all ages~!" CircusMan laughed as he approached the massive hole in the center of the network, "Direct your attention to the center ring as we begin the final acts for today's circus! Ahoo, hoo, hoo~!-!"

Opening his mouth wide, a soft amber glow grew within it. One by one, spheres of amber energy emerged from the large mouth of Circusman. Each one stayed before him for only a second or two before falling down into the hole. Once the last of the spheres went down, Circusman laughed.

"Now performing their rise from the very scar they made, introducing…" Circusman laughed as the area began to rumble.

"Th…They're rising!-!" Chirol's eyes widened as she noticed that all over the area she was in, all the internet-connected devices began to spark and rattle as if heralding the end.

"…our main performers, Dennōjū Glaga and Falzer!"

As if they heard him, a blue light and a red light erupted from the hole, solidifying into a pair of creatures, balls of flame in their colors circling them. The blue creature was a green wolf, its head surrounded by a crown of spike. The red creature was an elegant, menacing eagle.

"They're here…" Chirol awed, "Dennōjū Glaga, Lord of the Land…" the wolf let out a raspy snarl, "Dennōjū Falzer, Lady of the Sky…" the eagle let out a dry caw, earning a giggle from Chirol, "Can't move very well when you just get up, can you?" looking at the two, she smirked, "Hmm…If we want to capture these two, it has to be now." She looked at Circusman, "Activate the program and show me just how much you can carry!"

"And now for the finale! I shall make these Dennōjū disappear!" Circusman laughed, "Ahoo, hoo, hoo~!"

With that, he grabbed the front of his body and pulled it apart, exposing a hole in his body while his four hands held the gates open. The area started to rumble as the empty hole in his body started to suck in everything before Circusman. The area rumbled once more as the suction grew stronger.

"Mmph…!-! What power…!" Circusman grunted as he slowly skidded towards the hole, "I-I'm getting sucked in…!"

"What are you doing?! Put some back into it!" Chirol demanded, "Dealing with wild animals is your specialty!-!"

"Nnnngh…" Circusman grit his teeth as he dug his feet into the ground, "Ahoo, hoo, hooooooo!-!-!" the suction grew even stronger than before, "FULL P-?!"

"Huh?" Chirol blinked, noticing the suction had stopped, "Hey, Circusman, what's up? They're…?!"

"Th…That's it for tonight's show! Ahoo, hoo, hoo…" Circusman weakly laughed as sparks and tiny explosions came off his body, mainly over the areas littered in bullet-shaped bone wounds and feather-made ones, "Ahoo, hoo, HOO~!"

The resulting explosion was deafening. Vast amounts of smoke obscured the area, letting a red blur to fly off. In her apartment, Chirol looked at the holographic screen before her, displaying 'CIRCUSMAN: DELETED' over and over again in big red letters. Slowly, she sat up, walked into the kitchen, drank a cup of water, and calmly set the glass down.

"...Well, shit."

[Meanwhile… Akihara Chou Residential Area]

"Meiru-chan! Oh, for the love of-Meiru-chan!"

Meiru mumbled as she woke up. In Meiru's computer, Roll sighed while shaking her head. It was the third day of their week off from school for the founding week of Akihara Chou and here her NetOp, normally wide awake around five in the morning, had been sleeping in until seven-thirty now.

'Though…I can't blame her,' Roll thought, glancing out at a grayed-out emblem on her floor, 'Mega…'

It had been almost a month and a half now since the Hikari family had to move to Cyber City due to Hikari-hakase being hired by the mayor for their expo. Everyone had taken it hard when Netto and Rockman had left…many of which had to quickly get over it to start fighting off the viruses that were quickly growing stronger and stronger with each day. It was because of Netto and Rockman that the viruses for Akihara Chou in the Residential District were so weak. They kept fighting them for money and BattleChip Data…mainly the money…especially the BattleChips.

"Don't you remember what we're doing today?" Roll asked, "We're meeting Yaito-chan for window shopping while Dekao-kun carries the bags. Hurry up and get ready! We only have an hour to get to Jomon Electronics!"

"Right, right, right," Meiru yawned before looking out her window…and just stared at the dark, empty room that once belonged to her first and best friend…the one she gave her Heart to during that fiasco at the Gospel HQ.

"Meiru-chan!"

"R-Right… Y…You can do whatever, if you want…" Meiru snapped out of it as she climbed down the ladder and went to the bathroom.

Roll sighed as she watched her leave, 'It's not like I don't miss them, too, Meiru-chan.' She entered the net, 'Might as well see if I can get some extra Zenny for today. I don't think Papa added new funds to Meiru-chan's account last night.'

Meiru yawned as she walked downstairs to the bathroom.

"Good morning, sweetie," Meiru paused in her walk to be embraced into the hug of a well-endowed woman, her flowing, dark-platinum-blond hair tickling Meiru's nose once again.

"Onee-chan…" Meiru mumbled, managing enough strength to give her a half-hearted return hug.

The tall woman giggled as she let go of the hug, her magenta nightgown ruffling as she stood up fully, her large, luscious breasts bouncing a bit with the movement. She noticed the small, sad look on the red head's face.

"Still missing him, huh?" the woman asked, a sad look forming on her flawless face.

"Uh-huh…" Meiru replied.

"Oh sweetie," the woman smiled sadly as she pulled Meiru into another gentle hug, the red head wrapping her arms around the back of the taller woman's neck, "It'll be okay. He's sent you a lot of letters, right?" Meiru nodded, giving a noise of confirmation, "Well, that shows that he doesn't want to forget about you."

"…It hurts…"

The woman nodded, "I know how it feels. But you just have to believe that he'll be back."

"…Just how is it that you're such a great person to talk to, Onee-chan?" Meiru asked.

"It's because I love you almost as much as I love Skye-kun," she replied, lightly kissing her forehead, "Now what were you doing?"

"…Oh! I have to take a shower!" Meiru exclaimed as she ran to the bathroom, "Thanks, Onee-chan!"

"You're welcome," the woman giggled before she looked saddened once she left, "…She's really taking this hard."

"Of course she is, Aphrodite-chan. You've seen it; I've seen it; Yuichichi and Haruru have seen it; Marino-sensei's seen it; heck, even those Darkloids saw it if they used her as bait to get that dang DarkChip," a voice sighed, the sound of a buzzer going off earning the voice's owner's attention, "Ah! The muffins are almost done!"

The woman giggled as she entered the kitchen to watch the long, blond-haired man preparing the breakfast, "Kinda like how everyone at college saw it between us?"

"Yeah. Everyone knew except for me," the man chuckled, making sure that the tray didn't fall as he put it on a cooking pad before removing his white apron to show his red shirt and blue jeans, "Still, I loved how I found out."

"Yep," Aphrodite giggled, "You know, Meiru-chan's going out for today and you've finally gotten a day off since Yuichiro-san moved. Do you wanna reenact that night?"

"I don't know. Where would we get that much whipped cream and the quick-hardening chocolate sauce?"

"I got some last night while I was out at the market," Aphrodite replied.

"What did I do to ever deserve such a beautiful wife like you?" Skye asked as he began to prepare the eggs.

"You were just being yourself," Aphrodite replied, kissing his cheek before walking towards the dining room table, making sure that her motherly hips were swaying just right to get the blond's attention.

Skye Apollo Sakurai chuckled softly as he watched his wife's walk. Aphrodite Venus Sakurai nee Heart had originally been from Greece when she had moved to Japan during her high school years. It had taken until college for him to figure out that she had been in love with him ever since their last year of high school after the two had become fast friends during her first year at high school. Took until graduation for him to ask for her hand in marriage. He realized just what she wanted now, too, and he knew Meiru had been hinting for a certain something as well. He was nervous as hell about it, though. Even if he had been the one who had raised his little sister after their parents had died in that plane crash during the Alpha Revolt. His eyes widened.

"Um…Dear? I forgot that I have an interview today," Skye informed.

"Oh come on~!" Aphrodite whined.

"It'll be just for thirty minutes," Skye assured, "Once it's done, you can do whatever you want to me."

"I'm keeping you to that promise, dear," Aphrodite winked.

*BOOM*

"GUTS!"

*WHAM*

"GUTS!"

*SQUEAK*

"Guts?" Gutsman blinked as he raised his Gutshammer to look under it, "Ah. Ratty, de guts."

"Gutsman-san!"

"Hm?" Gutsman looked over his shoulder to see Roll running over, "Hey, guts-guts."

"You getting some extra Zenny for today?" Roll asked.

"You betcha, guts-guts!" Gutsman replied, banging his torso once in confirmation, "…Have you and Meiru-chan been feeling better?"

"A little," Roll replied, "We agreed to coming out to go window shopping, didn't we?"

Gutsman nodded before backhanding a Swordy Omega virus that had tried to sneak up behind him, "Feels like the Uranet when I go there out here, Guts-Guts."

"Well, it's because Rock-kun and Netto-kun aren't here on one of their daily Virus Busts," Roll noted with a sigh before shooting at a Ratty, who dodged and blew a raspberry at her, "…Excuse me please, Gutsman-san. I have a Ratty to disembowel."

Gutsman winced as he watched the carnage that soon came upon the Ratty viruses.

"She's getting good at beating them, guts-guts," Gutsman noted as he gave another Omega Virus a strong noogie to the point its head was crushed.

*Screeeeech…*

"What was that?" Gutsman pondered before seeing all the viruses were fleeing, "What's huh?"

*Screeeeech…*

"Oh, that doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound good at all," Roll noted as the net began to rumble.

"Huh?" Skye blinked twice, seeing all the devices connected to the net in the kitchen and connected dining room start rumbling.

"What's going on?" Aphrodite pondered.

"Nothing good," Skye frowned.

Meiru blinked twice as she saw the faucets and toilet start shaking in the bathroom.

"Wh-What's that?!" Roll gawked as she saw something flying towards the area.

*Screeeeech…*

"That's a big bird, Guts-Guts," Gutsman admitted.

Falzer glided over the network. A few moments ago, the Lady of the Sky felt it. The Lord of the Land had entered something…one of the strange small creatures that roamed his domain. The phoenix narrowed its eyes. The primitive, battle-made mind led it to conclude that the wolf had willingly fused with one of the smaller ones for some sort of boost. Well, the Lady of the Sky would refuse to allow such a disadvantage on her end be allowed!

*SCREEEEEECH!*

"It's heading right for us!" Gutsman exclaimed, "Guts! It's huge~!"

"An…eagle? A phoenix, maybe?" Roll tilted her head with a raised brow before Gutsman tackled her, "Hey! What's…? ?!"

"You're welcome," Gutsman snorted as he got up and picked up one of the giant feathers where Roll had been, "Tch. Flying enemies…Why does it always have to be flying enemies? Dekao just had to be taking a quick bath when I need him to remove my limiters…"

Roll gulped. She kept forgetting that Gutsman was one of the 'Ranked.' Then again, his normal personality always made her forget about it…especially the 'guts' verbal tic of his. Gutsman cracked his knuckles as he watched the bird come at them.

"Rocket…" Gutsman pivoted on his left leg while rising the right one, he left fist reeled back, "…Guts…" slamming his leg down hard enough to crack the ground, he swung his reeled back fist, "…PUUUUUUNCH!-!-!-!"

With a sharp crack, his fist disengaged from his body and rocketed right at Falzer, a cone of air forming at the front of the fist a second into the attack. The attack slammed into the Dennōjū, creating an explosion.

"Hah! Nailed it!"

*SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!-!-!-!-!-!*

"Didn't nail it," Gutsman groaned before screaming as a massive vortex slammed into him, knocking the massive NetNavi away.

"Gutsman-san!" Roll gasped before a soft clatter went off, "?!"

Looking down, her NaviMark rolled to a stop, landing flat on its back. Roll coughed up a bit of red data as she collapsed beside the large feather that had sliced her NaviMark off. Light slowly began to fade from her eyes while Falzer landed before her.

*screeeeeech…*

Falzer knew that the bigger one would have been the better pick, simply because it had chipped her beak. However, Falzer refused to become one with a male. Especially one that was brutish like the Lord of the Land. Now for the hard part…Falzer reached up and tore off the very emblem of her title. Letting it fall, the symbol glowed before shrinking down to rest upon the lone orange spot at the top of Roll's emblem. Bending down, Falzer's beak brushed against the hole in Roll's body. A muted scream erupted from Roll as her body completely froze, a look of absolute agony etched into her frozen features. Slowly, Falzer began to push into the hole, her beak seemingly collapsing in on itself to fit into the hole.

As Falzer's beak was finished forcing itself into her, Roll's stomach developed a small bump. Roll continued to display her frozen face and silent scream as Falzer continued to force its way into Roll, the head now gone and the bulge in her stomach larger. More and more of Falzer soon followed, the bump in Roll's stomach expanding into a beer belly. When the last of the Dennōjū entered Roll, her stomach had swelled up to the point that it covered all but her head and feet. Her body gave a spasm as the stomach started to quickly shrink to its original state. Her mouth finally moved once her stomach was back to its original state and…

Gutsman groaned as he finally stood up, "Ugh…S-Stupid bird…"

His sense of hearing was lost to him upon being struck by the massive, agonized wail of a small, 4' 8" female NetNavi.

Yaito hugged the sobbing Meiru as best she could despite the differences in their heights. Aphrodite bit her lower lip hard enough to draw some of her blood as she worked feverishly on stabilizing Roll, Skye assisting as best he could. Dekao slammed his fist against a wall, glaring at the mirror in the bathroom. Yaito and Dekao were quick in getting to the Sakurai residence the moment Gutsman informed them of the situation.

"Kuso. I should've been operating you, Gutsman…" Dekao muttered.

"Don't give up on her, Dekao-kun," Gutsman advised, "We just can't give up on her."

Dekao nodded, "…Does anyone there have any information?"

"We got a hit in the Uranet – Cyber City Quadrant," Gutsman informed, "Rankings are considered shit there. In that Quadrant: they follow Survival of the Fittest. Only the fittest rule."

"What did the hit say?" Dekao asked.

"Heal Water," Dekao looked down at Gutsman, "In the Seaside Area 3, there is a special water that can cute any NetNavi of any ailment, even deletion. We get that water, we get the cure for Roll-chan. Unfortunately…That sector of the Uranet was blocked by Rank 2 when they were Rank 1."

"Kuso," Dekao scowled, "…What about fake passports? Like when we went to America when that Nebula attack hit before they started taking over the Net and you were taken?"

"Each one has a randomized code in them, immediately registered into the codes for transport between Cyber City and any other network in Japan," Gutsman informed, "Obtaining a fake passport to get to Seaside Area would be impossible. We have no contacts in their registration office either, so we can't get one quick enough."

Dekao growled as he slammed his fist on the wall once more, "Then what good is this Rank if we can't save a friend?!"

"…" Gutsman sighed, "I'm not sure. But…"

*DING DONG*

"I forgot about that," Skye blinked twice before he moved from the table in the living room to the door, "Sorry. There's an emergency right now. I…"

"There is? Oh, just my luck," the purple-haired girl sighed.

"Shuko-san?" Yaito pondered, remembering the NetOp not only from rumors and hearing from Netto that her NetNavi crying was why the Net was flooded that time, but also from meeting the girl after the tournament since Netto introduced her to everyone.

"Yaito-san?" Shuko blinked twice, "What…What's going on?"

"Roll-chan's hurt…" Meiru whispered softly, looking at the connected TV that displayed the medical table her NetNavi was lying on, her body going into a spasm at times as more red data came from where her NaviMark should have been.

"…" Dekao glanced down at Gutsman, who nodded.

Yaito's PeT went off, "What now? Huh? 'Unknown?' Who's idea is this?"

"No viruses are attached to the E-Mail, Ms. Yaito. Shall I examine it?" Glyde asked.

"Yeah. Go ahead."

"…" Glyde opened the message and began to read it, "Oh dear! Yaito-sama, this E-Mail contains information about how to cure Roll-sama!"

"What?!" Aphrodite exclaimed.

"There's a special type of water in Cyber City's Seaside Area; Heal Water. If we obtain enough of this, we should be able to cure Roll-sama!" Glyde informed.

"Cyber City?" Skye repeated, "Aw man…I don't have a passport to get there from the Net."

"Um…C-Cyber City?" everyone looked at Shuko, "Um…Aquaman-chan has a passport to go there. W-We have relatives there,so I send them Zenny through Aquaman when they need it."

"…"

Aquaman panted as he ran along the road towards Cyber City.

"Thank you for doing this, Aquaman-kun," Meiru thanked.

"No p-problem, drip~," Aquaman replied.

*tink*

"Huh?" a NetNavi resembling a large orange lighter turned around to look down at Aquaman, "What's dis? Yo! Who are you, kid?"

"B-Big…" Aquaman gulped before a screen appeared beside the NetNavi.

"Meiru-chan! …Aquaman-chan?" Netto pondered.

"Netto-kun! …Heatman?!" Meiru exclaimed.

"Netto-kun!" Aquaman beamed.

"Netto-kun?" Meiru pondered.

"M-Meiru-chan…"

"Heatman-sama!" Heatman shouted.

"…Meiru-chan, why are you operating Aquaman-chan?" Netto asked after a few moments of awkward silence.

"Why are you operating Heatman?" Meiru asked, warily looking at the NetNavi.

"Hey, I'm not with World Three anymore!" Heatman grumbled.

"Heatman-kun's my Link Navi," Netto informed, "Rockman…"

"Is he okay?" Meiru asked, filing the 'Link Navi' thing in her head for later.

"Yeah. Wait, why are you operating Aquaman-chan and not Roll-chan?" Netto asked.

"Roll-chan's hurt. Some giant bird Virus went into her body and she's unresponsive. Onee-chan and Onii-chan are managing to keep her stable, but her NaviMark was ripped off," Meiru informed.

"Oh no…" Netto whispered, his eyes going wide.

"Someone must've told ya 'bout da water in Seaside Area 3 den, huh?" Heatman asked.

"Uh-huh, drip~!" Aquaman nodded.

"The Heal Water might be our best chance to save Roll-chan," Meiru informed.

Netto nodded. It was then he heard a yelp and a loud crash on Meiru's end.

"Oi! Shuko-chan~! Again with the tripping and the dropping of the things and the things landing on my head and the-oh you know what I mean! Owwwww~" Skye's voice groaned in the background.

"S-Sorry!"

"We'll need to be careful," Netto advised as Heatman and Aquaman ran off towards Seaside Area, "These Dennōjū caused these weird spirits to appear and only Holy Weapons can dispel them."

"How bad can they be?" Meiru asked.

"One ate Rockman's arm," Netto informed, "I'm thankful I just got a Recover 80 again after the recent update."

"O-o-oh d-d-d-d-dear…!" Aquaman whimpered.

"Netto-kun…" Meiru began.

"S-Sorry, Aquaman-chan…" Netto sweated nervously.

"Oof…Dat's one hot thing I do not want ta be around," Heatman muttered before saying aloud, "Let's git goin' den! Off to da water!" He slumped, "…I can't believe I just said dat."

Aquaman giggled as he followed after Heatman. A hiss of steam made Heatman look down at the shivering Aquaman, who was holding Heatman's bulky pinky finger. Heatman chuckled, giving him a thumbs up.

"Easy now, kiddo," Heatman advised, "We'll be nice n' fine. We've got some tough Operators on our side."

"R-Right, drip," Aquaman nodded.

"Why is she rejecting the Recov 300?!" Skye groaned.

"Well, we did make her as the ultimate healing NetNavi. It's her pride on the line and she has trouble with that pride when it comes to healing chips," Aphrodite noted, "She may have figured out a filter program to reject Healing chips not her own."

"Ugh…" Skye facepalmed before looking sadly at the TV, displaying Roll breathing heavily in her pained state, bits and bits of red data dissipating from the hole in her body, 'Hang in there, kiddo.'

"Ooh! So this is Heal Water, drip!" Aquaman awed.

"Uh…You do it, kid," Heatman handed Aquaman a canteen, "Fire n' water don't mix, ya know?"

Aquaman nodded before taking a sip of the Heal Water, "Mmm…drip! This is wonderful water!"

"Hey, y'er glowin'," Heatman blinked twice, watching as Aquaman's injuries faded away.

"It works!" Meiru gasped.

"Rockman-san and Roll-chan will get better with this, drip!" Aquaman beamed as he quickly filled the canteens.

"We better git goin' back t' Rockman and Roll," Heatman noted.

"Easy now, spurt," Aquaman spoke as he and Glyde carefully had Roll drink the Heal Water.

'Please be okay. Please be okay. Please be okay…' Meiru prayed, biting her lower lip hard enough in her worry to draw blood.

"N-Ngggh…" Roll groaned before her body started sparking,"Gnaaaaaa!-!-!"

"Roll-chan!-!" Aphrodite, Skye, and Meiru gasped.

"Is she rejecting the Heal Water?!" Yaito gulped.

"C'mon, Roll-chan! You can do it! Get better, de guts!" Gutsman shouted.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!-!-!" Roll cried out before pink and red flames erupted from the hole in her body and engulfed her in a small tornado.

"D-Driiiiiiip!-!-!" Aquaman freaked as he ran behind Glyde and Gutsman.

*SCREEEEEEEEEEEEECH!-!*

The fire dispersed just as fast as it had engulfed the NetNavi. Roll landed and fell to her knees and then onto her behind. What had once been a 4' 8" pink NetNavi was now a 6' 9" statuesque NetNavi. A pair of chibi angel wings flittered on her exposed back near the shoulder areas, a phoenix head-like guard now affixed on the left shoulder and a rabbit-themed guard on the right. A fire-colored rabbit tail twitched just above her ample, firm and round behind, the camel toe made by the tightness of her black and dark-pink bodysuit hidden behind a skirt. Her bow and helmet were gone, letting the flowing blond locks be free, multitudes of red and orange highlights in various shades decorating the freed hair. One of her long rabbit ears (reaching down to the middle of her back if she let them) was going straight down while the other was up and flopped down a little. Over the back of her hands were handless gauntlets themed after pink and black rabbits while her knees and lower legs were covered in a deep red and gold armor resembling a pair of phoenixes with their wings closed, her slender hands covered in pure white gloves while her toes were exposed to reveal the nails had become sharp talons, an extra talon emerging from the backs of her combat boot-like sandals that were connected to the phoenix-themed leg armor. Her NaviMark (now in its fused look) was firmly situated on a hot pink cloth around her neck, straps on it connecting into the shoulder armor. Yaito glared at Dekao, who was looking at a painting so as not to be slapped. This was due to the bodysuit not covering anything past the upper half of her large bosom, giving everyone a good view of her cleavage and the blue chain that went into it from the collar on her neck.

"Ooh…" Roll moaned, her voice slightly deeper and definitely more mature-sounding while her slightly-opened mouth exposed elongated canines and her opened eye showing that the iris in her pupil had changed to resemble a heart in shape, "My…My head…"

"R-Roll-chan?!" the rabbit-phoenix hybrid-themed NetNavi looked towards the screen.

"Meiru-chan? D-Daijoubu desu ka…?" Roll asked before collapsing to her side, near-impossible to hear gentle snores coming from her.

"Her programming's stabilized," Skye examined the data on his screen, "Shuko-chan, anything you notice?"

"U-Uh…um…n-no," Shuko replied, "u-Unless you mean h-her stats…"

"Her stats?" Yaito repeated, peeking at the screen Shuko was looking at, "Holy…!" her pigtails shot straight up in surprise, "That's her stats?!"

"'Attack: 50. Speed: 50. Charge: 50. HP: 99910954/99910954,'" Skye read before giving a soft, low whistle, "Now those are some strong stats."

"…What happened out there?" Aphrodite narrowed her eyes towards the TV and aimed directly at Gutsman.

"W-Well…it was like this, guts…"

"Well…at least people will figure out the rabbit theme…" Roll muttered as she turned before a mirror Glyde had set up for her.

"Did the bird happen to look like a big phoenix?" Skye asked as Roll traced one of her tiny wings with a finger, giving a small shudder as pleasure went down her spine from the action.

"Um…I think so," Roll replied before sneezing, causing Gutsman to be ignited.

"GAH! FIRE! FIRE, BAD!" Gutsman freaked as he ran around, screaming his head off, "GUTSMAN ON FIRE BAD, DE GUTS!"

"…" Roll quickly turned to the screen, ignoring the screaming Gutsman with Glyde and Aquaman chased him, water gun ready, "Yes. It looked like a phoenix."

"…You're writing an apology letter later, missy," Aphrodite frowned.

"Yes, mommy," Roll slumped.

"Skye, why does how the thing looks have anything to do with how Roll is like this?" Yaito motioned to the altered NetNavi.

"…" Skye stood up and walked over to the window, looking out at the empty blue house, "Do you remember what happened when Gospel was around?"

"Yes," Meiru replied, "Netto-kun showed us the video data while he and Shun were in the hospital for the radiation."

"Remember what Yuichiro called it? 'A Super Bug Organism,'" Skye informed, "He didn't make the classification just at that moment, it was already classified by two beings; the Dennōjū."

"Dennōjū?" Roll repeated.

"Years ago, a little before the Proto Rebellion, a massive cluster of BugFrags combined and became sentient, becoming a powerful wolf known as Glaga, the Lord of Land. A scientist tried a Gojira Threshold by creating another Dennōjū; Dennōjū Falzer, Lady of Sky. It…didn't go as planned."

Aphrodite snorted, "That's putting it lightly."

"Anyways, the scientist was shamed to the point that his name was stricken from all records," Skye continued, "Eventually, a final battle between the two weakened them enough to let them be sealed in the old net and a new net made over it. Only reason I even know about this is because Tadeshi-sensei told me before he died."

"Netto-kun's grandfather?" Meiru assumed.

"Bingo," Skye pointed at her, "Falzer was designed as a phoenix, meant to be the symbol for the deletion of Glaga and the rebirth of peace. While it was a rebirth of peace, it wasn't the death of Glaga, but the scientist's career." He looked at Roll as she was measured by Glyde, "It seems that Falzer escaped and entered Roll-chan. Why that is…now that's a mystery. But I think I can make a theory on why Roll-chan is like this: there is no longer a Dennōjū Falzer."

"Huh?" Yaito blinked twice.

"Uh…C-Could we have a translation?" Dekao asked.

"Hai, hai," Roll agreed.

"Dear, a bit more detail if you'd please?" Aphrodite asked.

"Right. Sorry," Skye apologized, "Well…when I mean there is no longer a Dennōjū Falzer, I mean that Falzer fused into Roll-chan's programming, becoming one with her. Which also explains Roll-chan's new looks and fireball sneezes." As if on cue, Roll sneezed, igniting one of Glyde's wings.

"Oopsie. Sorry, Glyde-kun."

"It's perfectly fine, Roll-sama," Glyde assured as Aquaman put out the wing.

"Ne, Aqua-chan," Aquaman looked at Roll, who knelt down to get a better view of his face, "You went out to get that Heal Water for me, hai?"

"Um…Y-Yes," Aquaman replied.

Roll giggled before kissing his forehead, "Arigatou, Aqua-chan."

"Oh! Uh…" the water that made up Aquaman's head turned bright pink.

"What exactly happened to the Dennōjū?"

"W…We only found Glaga. Right now, a NetNavi named Rockman has it sealed inside of him."

"And Falzer?"

"It…It escaped the Cyber City Network. Based on the few reports we were able to find and then cover up, Falzer vanished in the Akihara Chou Network."

"Isn't that where Dr. Hikari lived before moving here?"

"Yes. His family lived there until being transferred here to aid in the Expo."

"I see."

"But we do have some good news. The last camera was able to record that a NetNavi named 'Roll' had ended up in an accident resulting in the loss of her NaviMark. Find this 'Roll' NetNavi, we have our best bet on where Falzer went."

"Hmm…"

"…I do know of a NetNavi in Akihara Chou that goes by that name. She belongs to one 'Sakurai Meiru.'"

"Really now?"

"I've met her more than once and was given a chance to meet Roll's 'mother' and 'father' as she refers to her creators…and a chance to see her blueprints."

"Really now?"

"Yes. If Falzer is in a NetNavi, then she would be the one with the best chance of survival."

"Tell me everything you can about her NetOp, her creators, and their families."

"One creator is the step-sister to the NetOp, marriage through the older brother of the NetOp, who is the co-creator of Roll. He's a freelance developer. It was his programming skills that were used to create the LevBus System."

"Well…That makes things all the easier. It seems that there's an… issue… with his program. We need him to move up here immediately. And invite his wife to assist in outfit making for the NetNavis involved with the expo. Perhaps his sister may attend the same school as Hikari Netto so as to not go without, hm?"

Bio: Daughter to a fashion designer and an ace computer programmer, Aphrodite lost her parents during the first Alpha Revolt. Once she graduated Middle School in Athens, she moved to Japan for High School and College to become a fashion designer and scientist. During her time there, she met her future husband Skye Sakurai. A month after graduation, the two married. When Meiru was about to turn six, Aphrodite used data she made from her DNA and Skye's DNA to create Meiru her own NetNavi; RollEXE. Because of how young Meiru was when they were dating, Aphrodite saw her as her own daughter in all but blood. To her, Roll is her flesh and blood daughter. During the Nebula Crisis, she'd cry each night in her sleep for her 'baby' unless she was holding Meiru in her rest. Aphrodite is the creator of the 'FashionChip'; a set of Chips that alter the attire of NetNavis to let them enjoy the world of fashion.
