"Well… fuck me"

John turned the screen so they could all see what he had found, the Hover's tracking beacon blinking at the home of someone that it shouldn't.

"Do you think he is in on it? Or in danger?" Ianto asked as he looked from one man to the other.

"What I think is that we need to find out" Jack said as he lifted his phone and rang a familiar number, waiting for the call to connect.

"Doogie! Hey buddy, how's it hanging?" Jack said happily down the phone to the old man they had purchased their camper van from so many moons ago now "that poor wife of yours still not brained ya in your sleep then?"

No laughter. Jack's smile faded as the man said calmly "Captain. How nice to hear your voice. How's Jethro doing?"

"Wonderfully. My husband and me were wondering about a Hover bike for the top deck… David seems keen to learn to ride … we have room for two…" Jack let it hang, listening intently to anything in the background.

"Nice. Let me know next time you are in town and swing by, just let me have some notice so I can get the place cleaned up" the old man said and Jack grunted as he caught the warning.

"Well... I will call next week and sent something up maybe. You better answer the phone, you know I don't talk to anyone else" Jack said hoping that whoever was listening would hear the warning too, leave the old man in peace.

Jack closed the call and sat back, frowning as he tapped his finger on the table.

"But why Doogie. Janet is distinctive and right here" John said as he also pondered things.

Ianto rose and his hand went to the pendant around his neck, squeezing it as he paced and Jack watched him for a while. Ianto then left the house to wander the fields. Jack pondered and then rose to follow him, the two men walking the trial Owen liked to lead his 'goose chasers' on.

"You gonna tell me what's on your mind lover?" Jack asked after a while.

"Hunter will wake soon" Ianto replied like it was a silly question and he started to double back towards the house.

"Ianto?"

"The man… he had a pin on his lapel. I recognized it. A man used to visit Mama with a pin like that. From the Agency." Ianto said as they walked "She was afraid of him, always upset after he had been. She used to yell at him to get out, she didn't' want to know."

"What was it all about?"

"I don't know."

"Maybe she told Rhiannon?"

.

.

"No, I have no idea" she frowned, genuinely as confused as them.

Ianto rose, leaving Jack to feed their son as he clicked and jiggled the bottle to get those little blue sapphires to leave his retreating father's back and return to his Daddy's gaze. A grin around the teat. Then sucking resumed.

Ianto sat in the RV on the floor, puling at some boxes under the bed in his area, then he opened one and plucked out a tattered looking notebook. His father's notebook. His father's cheat sheets that he had found in his sister's RV. Then he reached back in, this time removing another notebook that looked similar but less tatty. Claire's one.

Jack fi\ound him there, sitting on the floor holding the books and staring into space "Hey. Monster Shitter is asleep and John is watching him like a cat waiting for their prey to stop playing possum. You know… I think that man would love to be a papa."

Ianto looked t him, then handed him the books.

Jack frowned and opened the top book to the place Ianto had ear tagged and started to read, paling as he read the Boeshanninan words as easy as you can read this. "She did not write this."

"No. It's Mama's writing. She wrote it at some stage, Claire didn't understand it, her translation of it in there pink above each word not quite right but she did try. She was wrong though, mama was not saying that the family was in danger because of our Boeshanninan blood." Ianto sighed.

"No, she said you were in danger because of your Boeshanninan blood. She was naming you several times here… Stormy. That's what she called you as a child?" Jack asked looking up to find tears on his husband's cheeks "Hey."

Jack slid from the bed to cuddle Ianto against him and Ianto sighed "Yah. She had not called me that since puberty. Stormy was my childhood name. Stormy because of my eyes. This is a code. I don't' get is all but I am trying to decipher it and so far it warns of a time when they come looking for me. A time when the Hunt changes and the true prize is revealed."

"And what is the true prize?" Jack aced as he looked at the books again.

"I think… I think the true prize is something to do with me."
