So I got this DA comment: What if the Hanna-Barbara versions of Pac-Man and the ghosts met their Ghostly Adventures counterparts?

And when I answered it, the part where i went: GA!Pac upon meeting H-B!Pac and Pepper: Mom? Dad? spoke to me

To get into the mood to writing this, I played the Latino version of Ghostly Adventures theme. I never knew I needed the late great Ricardo Silva singing about how awesome Pac-Man is. ...Almost makes me wish Pac is Back was longer. Nah.

"Mom? Dad?"

Pac stared at these strange Pac-People in front of him- these strange Yellow Ones.

The man wearing a fedora.

The woman with short brown hair.

The baby in her arms.

They just seemed familiar, but he knew that they weren't his missing parents.

The woman stared at him until turning to her husband, saying, "Packy, we are adopting this boy!"

"What?!"

"But Pepper-!" the man, this Packy, cried out.

"No, buts!" She handed him the baby and walked up to Pac, smiling.

Pac then said to her, "But I'm not a little kid. I'm a teen. It's just not nece-"

Pepper was hugging him.

"...There's no fighting you, Pepper," Pac-Man commented.

Later, they walked into Pac-Man's house.

"-Oh, plenty of people have two sets of parents, so don't worry about that. You'll stay in your home dimension for school and can visit us on weekends," Pepper rattled on.

When they walked into the living room they spotted another teenage boy- ANOTHER YELLOW ONE?!- lounging on the could playing on some old handheld console. He had cool hair, a cool red jacket, cool blue jeans, and matching cool white gloves and boots.

"What the-?!" Pac-Man yelled, "P.J., how did you get in here?"

P.J. only smirked as he paused his game. "Your front door was open."

"What? No, it wasn't!"

"Huh? Must've been the back door then," he shrugged, putting the handheld in his pocket. "That my new cousin or something?"

"Yes," Pepper told him, "Be nice."

"Hy, I'm Pac-Junior," P.J. greeted, hold his hand out, "Call me P.J."

"I'm Pac," Pac replied, shaking his hand.

"We'll leave you two to get to know each other," they said. As they left the room, Pac-Man ranted about P.J. breaking into the house again.

P.J. chuckled and told Pac, "Don't worry, Uncle Pac and Aunt Pepper are good people. You're a real lucky guy." Under his breath, he added, "Wish that I was in your shoes."

"What was that?"

"Nothing," replied P.J. before changing the subject, "So where you from?"

"Oh, I'm from-"

"Pacums! There you are!" A female voice cried out. It was Pinky, the one from Pac's world, now wearing a pink cap like the one the local wears.

"Oh, hey Pinky..."

P.J. watched them interact with interest. It was weird because he had some run-ins with the local Pinky and that guy ain't nice. Though the way she acted around Pac was pretty familiar to him, even if Pac seems pretty oblivious.

He laughed, "So you got one of those to, eh Pac?"

"What?"

Suddenly, a little red ghost wearing a white bow appeared behind P.J., happily cheering, "Hi, P.J.!"

"What the-?" P.J. exclaimed. Pac and Pinky could see that he was growing flustered, blushing and all. "Yum-Yum, how did you get in here?"

"Your front door was open."

"What?! No, it wasn't!"

"Must've been the back door then," she shrugged. Her eyes widen when she spotted Pac, "Oh, who's that?"

"My new cousin..."

Pac greeted her, "I'm Pac."

"I'm Yum-Yum!" she cheered, pulling some candy out of a basket she had, "Want some? Made them myself. Work at a candy shop and all."

P.J. crossed his arms, saying, "...Her candy is pretty good."

"Sure!"

"I mean I made it for P.J. but I'm sure he won't mind sharing."

"What?!" P.J. yelled, "But you made it for me!" snatching the basket out her hands. After a few moments of them staring at him, he gave it to Pac with a "Whatever, take them," storming back to the couch to sulk.

The only reason Pinky wasn't jealous of Yum-Yum talking to Pac was that she could tell that she and P.J. had a something."

Yum-Yum stared at Pinky.

"What?"

"Uncle Pinky?" she squeaked.

"What?!"

Tipping her head, she squeaked, "Auntie Sue?"

"Excuse me?!"

Suddenly, Pac exclaimed, "That candy rocks!"

"I know, right?"

"You did good, Yum-Yum!"

"I just followed the recipes, but I'll get you some more next time."

Pinky had to remind herself that Yum-Yum and P.J. had something. But P.J. stormed up to Yum-Yum, telling her, "Get out before someone sees you."

"But P.J.!"

"Uncle Pac will break out the power pellet when he sees you," he said, then turning to Pinky, "That goes double for you."

"But P.J.!" Yum-Yum cried.

"No!" P.J. yelled, chasing Yum-Yum around the living room, making a mess while Pac and Pinky watched.

"So..." Pac turned to Pinky, "The more things change the more they stay the same?"

"I guess?" she shrugged. "Not sure if that saying applies here."

Suddenly, Pac-Man busting in, yelling, "What is going on here?!"

Yum-Yum and Pinky both took it as a sign that they should leave.

Pac suddenly felt the urge to laugh, saying "I think I'm going to like this," while P.J. looked around in confusion.

The End
