Part 2:

"AHHHH!" I yelled as I sat up on the bed.

I could feel the sweat dripping down my face. I was covered in the stuff. I took some deep breaths as I just sat there for a while. "TORU!" I heard Izumi yell from downstairs.

"I'M FINE!" I yelled in response.

I heard the patter of footsteps coming up the stairs. I let out a sigh as I saw her head peer from downstairs as she continued to walk up into my room. When she got off the stairs she stared at me, "Toru what's up?" She asked.

"Nothing," I snapped.

Izumi tilted her head at me, guess she wasn't buying what I was saying. She then walked up towards me, eventually sitting on the bed sides me. "You've been screaming like this for weeks," Izumi told him.

"Yeah...I know," I admitted.

"What's wrong Toru?" She asked as she put her arm on my shoulder.

I looked up at her, locking eyes with her. 'She's gotten a lot nicer,' I said to myself.

I let out a feint smile as I slightly pushed her arm off of my shoulder. "I'll be fine, don't you have to go to your rock thing?" I told her.

She looked over at the digital clock on my nightstand. Looking back over at me she let out a big exhale while balling her fists till her knuckles looked white. "Yeah...I do," She said as she got off of my bed.

She began to walk back downstairs as she continued, "Make sure you're not late for school!"

I turned to her, "I won't," I said.

"I think Ayumi is already on her way out the door, so you better hurry up!" She reprimanded.

"Yeah... will do," I mumbled.

Then I stumbled out of my bed and staggered over to the bathroom in my room. I turned on the tap and began splashing it onto my face trying to get rid of all the sweat. 'Same dream again,' I remarked about the experience.

I looked up at the mirror ahead of me, and I saw...him. His name was Black Directive, in my opinion and what's probably the opinion of people all over Japan, he's the greatest threat the Earth has ever faced. He wasn't some monster, a shape shifting alien, or even an extra dimensional being. He was an alien that looked like any normal man, albeit in a black robe and big black hat. He could've just lived his life as a normal man if he wished, but that's not what he did. He had this crystal ball. I couldn't tell you how it worked I just know he leveled it to his eye and he could control ferocious monsters. Saucer Beasts, they were called. They destroyed, so, so much.

I turned over to my dresser, and walked up towards the picture placed there. It was from six years ago. I was standing in the foreground, I was 10 back then. Next to me was my little sister, Karou. Above me was Takeshi, a guy who worked at the sports center we would go to as kids. Above Karou was Momoko, she took us in after our father died from an alien attack. All three of them died from one of the saucer beasts, SilverBloome.

I let out a deep sigh as I placed the picture back down for a moment. There was one person in the picture that I didn't mention. The man who stood in between Takeshi and Momoko, Ootori Gen. You might know him better by a different name though, Ultraman Leo. He was my hero, he could do no wrong, and he'd always save me. While everyone else died around me, I was proven right. He always did save me, and in the end he defeated the alien that killed my father, SilverBloome, and eventually with the help of of myself and some of my friends he managed to defeat Black Directive. I remember thinking after that we might be able to enjoy the peace. When he told me he was Ultraman Leo I was ecstatic, despite the fact that we were also trying to flee one of the Saucer Beasts during that. However, that's not how it played out. After all was done and the aliens were beaten...Gen left. He said he wanted to see the Earth that he had protected for so long, and said that I shouldn't have needed to rely on him so much. I don't even know if he's on Earth anymore. Although, I suppose he had a point.

I've been having the same dream over and over again. I'm the same age as when Gen was still around. I'm in the construction yard where Gen finally beat him. I'm running away. In the sky SilverBloome lurks over the yard grasping on different beams of metal with its massive tendrils. Everywhere I go I can't be able to escape SilverBloome. No matter how far I run SilverBloome constantly catches up to me. The entire there's a beaming in my ears. A boom that's always going off in my ear. It's him. I dash around one corner and the next minute my feet aren't touching the ground. I turn in front of me, Black Directive is staring at me. He grabbed me by my shirt. He's the laughing, and it just gets louder and louder. I can't escape him. I can't break his grasp. SilverBloome starts floated closer and closer. Directive brings me closer to him so that I'm so close that I can feel the heat of his breath on my face. Directive begins to whisper, "Did you think you could kill me boy,"

I can't reply. The words won't come out of my mouth. My breathing begins to get deeper and deeper. "HA HA HA HA! DIE LIKE THE REST OF THEM!" Directive screams at me.

From behind me I hear SilverBloome knock over one of the giant beams near us. The next thing I know I fall to the ground. I look back up at SilverBloome, on top of him is Black Directive with his crystal ball. Before I manage to say anything the metal from above crushes my bones. I feel my body break apart. The pain is like something I've never experienced before. Its like someone put every bone in your body under a 10 ton press.

Then I wake up. Its always the same. I don't know how to fix it. Sometimes even when I'm not dreaming it feels like I can hear Black Directive. After I put the picture down I started changing clothes, and this was one of those moments I could hear the vile screams of Black Directive. This time was a little different though, I swore I could hear SilverBloome's screams too. 'I'm losing my mind,' I told myself.

After the laughing and the screams subsided I grabbed my bookbag and rushed down the stairs. When I went into the kitchen I notice the clock. "OH I'M LATE!" I yelled.

I dashed out the door. I ran as fast I could. I turned one curve a little...too fast. I ran into somebody and was sent back on the ground. He had a briefcase, papers were spread out all over the road. I rushed to grab the different papers so that he didn't lose anything. "Sorry about your papers Mister," I said to him as he walked up from behind me

He did the polite thing and said it wasn't my fault that we were both in a rush. Once I managed to get them all up I turned back around towards him and handed his papers. "Here you go!" I said trying to grin so he wouldn't be too upset with me over the whole thing.

After I gave him the papers I finally got a decent look at the guy. He was in what looked like business casual attire. Brown blazer with brown slacks, a white button up, and a teal sweater. He must've been a professor or something like that. "You're running pretty late, aren't you?" I asked.

He was putting all of his papers back in his briefcase, but turned back to me to answer my question, "Yeah I know, I stayed up late grading papers, why are you so late?" he said with a chuckle.

'Don't really wanna answer that,' I thought to myself.

"...Overslept," I ended up telling him.

'That's not technically a lie,' I remarked to myself. He seemed to be believe me he laughed in response. "Happens to all of us, well you should get going thanks for your help," he told me.

He went to grab my shoulder, trying to be fatherly I suppose. The moment he did something weird happened though. He screamed in pain as he fell to the ground. I didn't know what to do it was the weirdest thing I'd seen in years. "Mister are you okay!" I shouted at him.

He just reeled on the ground in pain, I could swear I heard him whispering, talking about something in his head. Although, given what's been going on with me I couldn't say for certain. Maybe I was projecting.

After awhile he finally managed to get up off the ground and seemed to get back to normal. "Mister what just happened? Are you okay? Do you need help or anything?" I asked.

"No *pant* I'll be fine," He said taking a breath before continuing, "Kid what's your name?"

'What does he need my name for?' I thought to myself. I decided to still answer him though, "Miyama, Miyama Toru, Now mister are you okay?" I said.

"I'll be fine Toru, go to class," He huffed out.

"Um, are you sure?" I questioned.

"I'm sure Toru, I'll be fine," He said smiling.

"...Alright mister," I stammered out.

Then he grabbed his briefcase and just walked down the street I guess on the way to wherever he was headed. 'What is it about that guy?' I thought to myself.

The entire school day I was thinking about the experience from that morning. I zoned out for most of the day. You could've asked me what we did in each class right after I got out and for each of my classes I wouldn't have been able to answer your question. 'What is it about that guy?' I kept thinking.

'Did he hear voices too?' Is it an alien?' I thought to myself. I knew that monsters and aliens had started to attack Earth again as of late. Maybe it was something like that. 'Even if it was, what am I supposed to do?' I pondered. There was no MAC anymore, I think I remember watching a news report about a monster attack telling the public who the new attack team was. I couldn't tell you who they were though.

Walking home that day was just about as normal as it could be. I walked home with Ayumi like I did every school day for the last five years. She was telling me something about some drama she was having with some of her friends. "Toru," I wasn't really focused on it. "Toru," I was just thinking about that guy from this morning. "TORU!" She yelled.

"Huh?" I asked as I turned my head at her.

"Did you pay attention like at all to anything I said," She asked.

I scratched my head, "Well...not really," I admitted.

"You okay?" She asked.

'I hope Izumi didn't tell her about this morning,' I thought to myself. I put on a smile and replied, "Oh I'm fine just got a little distracted,"

Ayumi just nodded in response. The rest of the walk home was silent. When we finally managed to go home she ended up doing some homework in the living room downstairs and I just rushed up to my room and laid in my bed.

I ended up falling asleep for a little bit, but I was woken up by the sound of a car driving into the driveway. I wiped my eyes as I stumbled out of bed and looked out the window on my room. 'The sun's still bright, that's too early for Izumi or Sakiko to be here,' I thought to myself upon viewing the sky.

I looked down on the driveway, and saw a black car with UGM in big white letters on the front of the vehicle. 'THAT'S THE ATTACK TEAM!' I realized upon seeing the car.

What happened next surprised me a lot more than anything I would have expected. Out of the driver's seat in a light orange and silver uniform was the man I had encountered this morning. 'This is defintely something to do with aliens,' I remarked.

Then the passenger door opened, and one man stepped from out of that door. I couldn't believe it. 'Oh...oh my god! Its him!' I thought. It felt like instinct. I didn't think about it, I felt like it was natural. I screamed at the top of my lungs, people done the whole street must've heard me as I said, "OOTORI!"
