Artha felt a little bit of guilt settle over himself. This... was not going to be a shining moment of brotherhood between human and dragon. However, Beau had decided to eat Artha's brand new sneakers and he needed to pay for them in both karma and money. Artha's TikTok account offered a way to obtain both of those at the same time. And, dragons didn't exactly have options when it came to paying for stuff sooo...

Yes. Revenge was best served with cash. Hopefully a lot of it.

Artha walked calmly into the stables and began to set up. First, he applied some fresh bedding to Beau's stall until the floor had a good three inches of Tonga's Terrific Dragon Bedding. Then, he moved his phone to set it up to record from one of the shoulder height shelves in the stall. Looking out towards the yard, he didn't see Beau, but that was fine. Beau's nose was highly attuned to a very specific smell.

SRRRT!

Artha opened a chocolate bar. A thud echoed across the yard and Artha heard Lance cry out in outrage.

"Beau, you're supposed to help me carry that, not drop it!" His little brother whined. Heavy footsteps sounded as the reptile in question ignored Lance and trotted over towards his stall. Artha hurried to place the chocolate bar next to his phone and grab a broom. Whistling would be both too corny and give away that something was amiss, so he just hummed a little under his breath.

A loud breath sounded behind him and Artha listened to Beau sniffing for the chocolate. Beau stepped into the stall. The bedding crinkled under his heavy, multi-ton weight. Artha pasted a slightly upturned grin across his face.

"Hey Beau, I have a surprise fo-" Artha turned around to Beau but transformed his face from happy to see his dragon buddy, to a look of oblique terror. He breathed in a big, exaggerated breath and opened his eyes as wide as possible.

Pointing, he shouted "SNAKEEEEE! SNAKEEEEEE!". Beau's own eyes widened comically and a loud, horse-like winny left his maw. He hissed and stamped the ground furiously with his claws. However, the dragon bedding below him obscured his view. Had he killed the scary snake yet? He couldn't tell! Giving one last frightened shriek, Beau used his mag blast to grab his human and bolt from the stable. Behind him, he heard Artha making some kind of noise, and assumed the poor human was even more frightened of the horrible monster than he was. Meanwhile, Artha can't help the full bellied laughter that spilled out of him. Goodness, dragon were such scaredy pants sometimes!

In response to Dragon Courage's challenge. This is my contribution to the fandom. Not much and there may be more later, but this is what I spent the last thirty minutes on, bc I actually had the time.
