Perry got carried away with the presents. "Is there anything you didn't get them?" Della asked.

"Just sit there and eat your cookies."

Della chuckled and did just that. "If you do this every year, we'll be broke before you know it."

"Didn't I just tell you to eat your cookies?"

"Yes, chief," Della loved watching her husband with their daughter. It made her fall more in love with him every time she saw him with her.

There was a knock on the door. Nicky came running out in his new pajamas, "pops!"

The boy opened the door and hugged his grandfather, "Merry Christmas everyone."

"Merry Christmas," Perry, Della, and Nicky said.

Nicky led his grandfather over to the chair in the living room, "looks like you two made out pretty good." He smiled and looked at Maureen, "now, this little lady is more beautiful each time I see her. Just like her mama."

"Thank you," Della smiled.

Nicky showed his pops what he got for Christmas and then they all exchanged gifts with the man before having lunch. Della and Maureen fell asleep on the couch. Perry ran to the door when there was a knock, "shh," he said, "Della and Maureen fell asleep."

The others walked in quietly, but Maureen began to wake up, "daddy," she said.

Perry knelt next to the couch, "shh, mama's sleeping."

"No, she's not," Della mumbled with her eyes still closed.

"Sorry," Perry said, "I tried to keep it quiet."

"That's okay," Della said as she stretched. Perry placed Maureen on the floor and helped his wife sit up.

Perry looked at his family and introduced them to Anthony, "help yourselves in the kitchen."

They all took the food to the kitchen. "I need to freshen up," Della said.

"You look beautiful."

"You always say that. Even after I throw up. Just help me up." Perry pulled his wife to her feet. She went to the bathroom.

"Daddy," Maureen tugged on his pants and pointed at her new toys. Perry sat down and started playing with her. The rest of the family was leaving the kitchen. Della walked out of the bathroom. She smiled and leaned against the fireplace, rubbing her belly as she watched them. The others noticed that same deep love again. Maureen saw her mother, "mama," she said and waved her hand for the woman to come over.

Della walked over and Perry helped her to sit on the couch.

"Everything's warming up," Paula said as she and the others sat down.

"Thank you, Mrs. Mason," Della said.

"There's no need for that. Call me, Paula."

Maureen stood and took a doll over to her mother, "mama," she said and pointed at the woman's belly, "bebe."

"Do you want to share that with the baby?" Perry asked.

Maureen shook her head, "are you crazy?" Della asked her husband, "she's been telling me all day which toys the baby can and can't play with."

"What can the baby play with?" Perry asked.

"So far," Della pretended to think, "nothing."

Maureen placed her hand on Della's belly. The woman moved it to where the baby was moving. "Mine," Maureen said to Della's belly before kissing it and going back to play.

"We may have a problem," Perry said.

"Yep," Della agreed, "your daughter doesn't like to share. Just like you."

Patrick and Penny started laughing and Perry glared at him, "what?" Patrick said, "it's so true."

The dinner was a success and Maureen got more presents from her new family. Perry was relieved after everyone left, "it wasn't that bad," Della said.

"No, it really wasn't. We got it over with. Plus, I got to show you all off." Perry kissed his wife and the two went to sleep.
