-Julian's POV-

"Hey…" I greet quietly, giving the boy a small smile, notebook in my hands.

The boy, who told me his name is Marc, from what I could tell is fairly tall, with somewhat androgynous features, black hair, and bright green eyes. From what I've seen he mostly wears a bright red hoodie with an equally bright tie-dye shirt, jeans, fingerless gloves plus a choker too.

"H-Hey." Marc said before going back to his own notebook, I take that as my cue to sit down too, we're not really friends per se, but a couple of weeks ago, I had a panic attack which led me scrambling to hide under the stairs where he'd been writing, scaring the hell out of him too. The next day I returned with some extra food as an apology, which he accepted, and ever since then whenever I need a quiet place to write my own scripts, I come down here. Something about two socially anxious people hiding in the same place is comforting to me, and hopefully, he feels the same.

Although, if I were to be honest, the other reason why I always come down here, aside from the relative seclusion, is to try and get closer with this person. He reminds me so much of myself sometimes that it's scary, and deep down I probably don't want him to be alone all the time, like how I was.

Hopefully, I can introduce him to my friends soon. He seems like he needs an extroverted companion like Alix, plus, Nathaniel would like him too, I think…

If you get scared at night, don't keep your eyes closed for too long. There's a reason you're scared, and now you can't see it approach... I write down the sentence, frowning, something's not right, I probably have to edit the whole thing again, I can already feel the imminent frustration.

"Wh-What are you umm, wh-what are you writing?" I jump at the voice nearby, I turn to meet Marc's gaze, hiding a triumphant smirk, after four weeks! We're making progress!

"It's a horror story, about a creature that only attacks when you close your eyes." I explain, holding the notebook to him. "Not the most original idea, but fun to write, do you want to read?"

Marc looks at me in disbelief, like I just told him to read my diary or something. Hesitantly, his hands slowly reach to my book as I wait with bated breath.

"JULIAN!"

The timid boy yelps, looking wildly around before frantically packing his things. "I-I'm sorry, I have to- I got a thing to- Goodbye!"

"N-No, wait! It's just-" I tried to calm him down but it was too late, he frantically excused himself from the conversation, taking his bag and fleeing from the scene. I sigh in disappointment, back to square one I guess.

Alix and Nathaniel finally approach, both panting heavily. "Man, who was that? They left in a hurry." Alix comments between breaths.

"Just someone I've been trying to get to know." I groan, he's never run away that fast before, almost as if he's specifically running away from something...

Or some one .

"Whatever, Julian, we need to tell you something!" Alix brings me out of my thoughts.

"Tell me what?"

The skater hesitates. "Before we do, promise me you won't start monologuing about suffering or start freaking out, or-"

"Alix, just tell me." I frown, feeling incredibly nervous now.

"Marinette and Adrien are going on a date! "

I feel a chill deep in my core. " What?"

Nathaniel nods. "We overheard Adrien asking Marinette out to the zoo today, to see the panthers."

"WHAT?"

I suddenly feel lightheaded. This is bad, I took way too long!

"Figures that Marinette would get her act together first. I'm finished!" I wail, shoving my books down into my bag. "Thanks for telling me, I'm heading off to the ice cream store now, maybe flood my car with tears along the way." I choke out, strapping my bag and starting to walk out of the building.

A hand grabs my arm, stopping me. " Don't start binging the ice cream yet Lian, Nathaniel and I have a plan."

I look between my two friends, my heart hurting too much to care about their mischievous aura. "W-What do you have in mind…?"

-Couple hours later-

"Guys, I don't think this is a good idea…" I mutter, staring at a random zoo exhibit with nervous breaths. The new panther exhibit opens today, so there are a lot more visitors than usual. The only reason I'm even able to stand here is because my brain's too busy repeating "Adrien's dating Marinette, Adrien's dating Marinette" in my head.

"C'mon Julian, it's foolproof." Alix reassures me through my earpiece, hiding somewhere else in the zoo with Nathaniel. "All we have to do is coordinate ourselves so that we third wheel Adrien and Marinette on their date. Think of it as a chaperone situation."

"I mean , I don't like this." I whisper-yell back. "Messing up someone's dating attempts feels dirty, and in the movies, all of them get bitten in the ass by karma!"

"Then why are you even here?"

"To make sure that you don't get arrested! " I yell that a little too loudly, noticing as a woman and her child both look at me weird. Stuttering out an apology, I look away, blushing heavily.

"Julian, we're only doing this cause we care." Nathaniel pipes in and I huff in frustration.

"You know what, forget this, I'm not participating in this plan. No, I'm going to enjoy the zoo, visit the deers' exhibit or something!" I threaten since Ossi would probably love seeing some.

"Please, with your sense of direction? You'll be lost in minutes."

I feel an eye twitch, hating how right she is, unless...

"Not if I have a map." I declare, looking for the nearest directory.

Ahah! I found one, it's hidden a little behind the bushes, but if I can get a good picture of it, my direction problems will be gone.

Raising my phone, I point it at the sign, not clear enough.

Moving in closer, I brush away some foliage, clearer, but I won't be able to read the words with this.

Letting out a huff of frustration (seriously, who even put the sign here?) I jump over the small fence, and then-

"Ow!"

"AH!"

Tripping over something, I tumble onto the floor, or I would've, except…

The blond boy with green eyes broke my fall.

"Adrien!" I yelp, quickly getting off of him, face erupting in crimson. "W-What are- How-" I can't even find any words to say, this is mortifying!

I jump at the uproarious laughter in my ear.

"Oh my god, I can't believe he fell on him! Julian! Listen carefully okay? Ask him if he's alright."

"A-Are you alright?" I echo, embarrassed to the highest degree and thankful for having someone manually controlling my brain for me.

The model sits up with a grunt, giving me a small smile before tapping something on his ear. "I'm alright, are you? That was quite the fall."

"I'm okay…" I mumble.

"Tell him that you must've fallen for him!"

I blush harder. No way!

"W-What are you doing in the bushes?" I say instead, even if my brain is turned off, I would rather eat cement than flirt so openly.

The blond's smile turns a little embarrassed. "I'm helping Nino on his date with Marinette." He explains, pointing to the people in question sitting on the bench across from us. How did I not notice that before?

Wait.

I gape at the scene. "Nino's date with… Marinette…?" I whirl back to Adrien. "Give me a moment." I say quietly, quietly moving away, feeling betrayed .

"I thought you said that Adrien's on a date with Marinette!" I angrily whisper into the earpiece, quiet enough so that Adrien, who had returned to coaching Nino, won't hear.

"If I had said that, then you wouldn't have come to the zoo!" Was Alix's excuse. "You need to make a move Lian! And what better way than to help him help a friend get together with your rival! It's a cheesy romantic origin story waiting to happen!"

I grit my teeth in embarrassment. "I don't want a romantic origin story!" I lie, before groaning. "Oh my gods Alix, why are you doing this to me?"

"Technically this was all Nathaniel's idea."

"Hey!"

"Julian?" I jump at the voice behind me, turning around, Adrien is looking at me with a worried expression. "Is everything alright?"

"Say everything's perfect now that you're here!"

"Keep quiet!" I whisper-yell into my earpiece before widening my eyes in a panic. "I-I mean, ignore that! I wasn't talking to you when I said that!"

The blond tilts his head to the side, confused. "Okay?"

I take a deep, deep breath. "Sorry, I'm being weird."

The model shakes his head, still smiling. "No, it's alright, if anything I'm the weird one, hiding in the bushes and all."

Blushing, I look away. "Hard to say, I mean... I'm the one with tree hats at home for the purpose of hiding in bushes."

"What's a tree hat?"

Gods why did I say that? If my face heats up anymore I'm gonna pass out. "J-Just a hat with a bunch of leaves and stuff glued on it, I saw it in a TV show."

Adrien chuckles, and I've never wanted to melt into the floor as much as I want to at this moment.

"Damn Julian you've got game! Keep doing what you're doing!" I hear Alix say again and I feel an eye twitch. They're going to pay for this.

"How's Nino doing?" I look at the duo sitting by the benches, sitting awkwardly side by side minus the large amount of space in between them.

Adrien sighs. "He's… trying his best."

Damn, that bad huh?

"I-I'm sure he's just nervous." I attempt to defend, knowing that panicky feeling very well.

"He doesn't have to be, I told him, all Nino needs to do is be himself."

I give the blond a self-deprecating smile. "Sometimes that isn't good enough."

Before he could respond, something sounded in his ear. Holding a finger up to it, he gives me an apologetic look before turning to the bench. "Okay Nino, repeat after me. Yes he is, but first I wanted to take this opportunity to…"

"Tell you that I love you Marinette."

I look away, my heart twisting itself painfully. Even if it's Adrien telling Nino to say it, the fact that it's coming out the blond's mouth…

I want to go home.

" What!?" I jump at the model's surprised shout.

"What happened?"

"Nino told Marinette that he has a crush on Alya instead!" Adrien explains frantically.

I blink, processing this information. "Huh. Didn't know that can happen in real life."

"Julian! Julian!"

I wince, looking away as Adrien tries to correct his best friend's mistake. Pressing a button on my earpiece. "What?"

"You need to get out of there! The animals are-"

A loud mix of various animal noises from roars to trumpets ring through the earpiece, almost deafening me.

"I'll find a place to hide, stay safe!" I turn to look at Adrien, the best course of action now would be to transform into Faon and come back to save him and the rest.

Quietly sneaking away, I take out Ossi's pen.

"Ya know, I really like your friends." My Kwami teases, snickering at my glare.

"Whose side are you on?"

"The one that gets ya outta ya comfort zone."

"Shush, Ossi, Horns Drawn."

As soon as I transformed into Faon, I could hear the animal cries clearly now, along with Nathaniel and Alix's screams. Jumping towards them, I grab them both by the scruff of their shirts.

"Alley-oop!" I grunt, carrying the both of them to the nearest enclosed exhibit, dropping them in it.

"Stay here and don't make a sound, I'll come back to get ya." I inform, trying to close the door, but a foot stops it from shutting.

"Wait! Faon! Our friend Julian's still out there!" Alix informs.

I nod, willing the blush away from my face. "I'll take care of him, don't worry, just stay safe." Shutting the door without much resistance after that. I expand my hearing, Adrien, Nino and Marinette don't seem to be screaming in terror, so they're probably safe. I do hear the familiar sounds of my teammates though as I leap to their location.

Landing on an exhibit's roof nearby, I look to see Chat Noir and Ladybug defending Kim, my classmate against a black-furred panther.

"If you value your life, get out of here! Now!" Ladybug orders, receiving a nod from the athlete before he runs the hell out of there, the panther immediately diving towards the boy.

Jumping into action, I grab Kim and leap away before a yo-yo wraps around the panther, stopping it in its tracks.

Bringing him all the way to the zoo's exit, I lowered him to the floor. "Run as fast as you can, okay?" I turn him around, subtly attaching a tracking device that comes with my outfit and watching him run away. Turning back to the zoo-

Yelping, I quickly jump to the side as a stampede of animals charges straight out of the establishment, the surprise causing me to trip over something and falling flat on my butt.

"Ow…" I groan, looking back up to see-

Literal doe eyes?

Standing back up, I awkwardly stare at the herd of deers in front of me, who are staring right back.

"I uh… Hello?" I take a step back as whom I assume is the herd's leader walks up to me. The lack of horns makes it a doe. She gives me a sniff before nudging my hand, guiding me to pet her.

Still in shock, I gently brush my hand across her head. "Good girl…" I mutter, looking over the rest of them. Are they waiting for something? "Umm… go back to your exhibit. Please?"

The deers don't move, their limited expression making them really hard to read.

I gulp. "Don't worry about me? Please, just go back."

It takes a while, but to my absolute surprise, the alpha doe I'm patting looks to me and nods, turning to the rest of the herd as they start walking back into the zoo. Huh. That was random.

"Faon! The Akuma escaped! We need to find it!" A sudden voice sounds from above, looking up, I see Chat and Ladybug soaring out of the zoo and onto the nearby building. Sending the deer herd one last look, I give the alpha doe another nod before leaping up to meet with my teammates.

A malicious growl hits my ears before I could land, stopping myself by grabbing a nearby chimney, I look towards the bridge. The panther had caught up to Kim, ready to pounce.

"Over there!" I yell to my teammates before leaping into action. Crossing the distance, I manage to intercept the panther just before it could leap onto Kim, shoving it onto the pavement. It lets out a ferocious roar before trying to bite my face.

"You're not getting away this time!" I hear Ladybug yell as I try my best to not get mauled by a panther.

"Quick, go and hide in the first building you come to!" Chat shouts from the background which alerts the Akuma to Kim again.

"You'll never get me!" It yells before a dark cloud surrounds it. Suddenly my arms wrap around nothing, an eagle rises from the cloud and flies away.

I sigh in relief, dropping my arms and relaxing on the pavement.

"Is it just me, or was that way scarier than usual?" I ask no one in particular, heart still racing, probably the deer instincts in me freaking out when facing its natural predators.

Actually, now that I think about it.

"You're Miraculous is actually a cat right?" I look at Chat Noir. "I know it's in your name and all, but there are a ton of cat types out there."

"Huh?" The blond looks confused. "Yes?"

"I see." I muse, shrugging before getting up, no rest for the wicked.

"Where's Kim?" I hear Ladybug ask.

I raise my blowgun to her the same time Chat did, both showing the trackers we've stuck onto the athlete.

"Huh, we both had the same idea." I smirk at the cat hero.

He blushes slightly, before smirking back and winking. "Doesn't surprise me, great minds think alike after all."

Face heating up, I look away.

That almost felt like he's-

What?

"Looks like Kim went to the bakery, let's go." Ladybug starts running to the bakery. Chat and I hesitantly share another look before chasing after her.

Landing on the balcony of where I think is Marinette and her parents' bakery, we look at the various zoo animals causing havoc amongst the streets of Paris.

"He's safe inside this building." Chat checks the GPS again before stowing it away. "Panthers can't open doors, so it won't get inside."

I shake my head. "The Akuma can turn into any animal, so doors won't be much of a problem."

"Right." The blond corrects himself, before smirking. "But we do have an advantage over him. We know exactly where to find his prey."

"Animan will sniff him out sooner or later, but it's bought us a bit of time to plan our next move." I gloomily listen to Ladybug's plan, leaning against the railing, watching a bear use a man's car as a back scratcher. That probably feels really good, to be honest, why is it so hard to scratch our backs anyway?

"Faon." I turn to Ladybug, looking at me with no small amounts of frustration. "Are you even listening?"

I shrug. "I dunno, which one of us has the best hearing again?"

Avoiding her glare, I look back to the bear still scratching his back.

"Uh, anyways." Chat pipes in, cutting the growing tension. "Let's stop Animan before Paris turns into a jungle."

The superheroine sighs. "Follow me." She says, jumping over the railing and landing at the entrance to the bakery. I follow suit, now ignoring Chat's concerned looks too.

Ladybug was already talking to Marinette's parents when I walked in, Marinette's mom appearing to be quite a fan of hers.

The red-suited heroine turns to Chat and me as Marinette's parents go upstairs. "I discussed it with the owners, they agreed to let Kim hide out here while we lure out the Akuma. I just need one last thing." She walks up the stairs. I stay downstairs, not particularly excited to snoop around a friend's house.

"Hey, Faon?"

I sigh, turning to meet Chat's gaze. "Yeah?"

The blond bites his lip, looking worried and a little hesitant. "What… What happened between you and Ladybug?"

I frown despite myself. "I'm surprised she hasn't told you already."

"Yeah, well, when I asked, she said that it wasn't her business to say…" The cat hero scratches the back of his head in shame.

I clench my fists in frustration. What is she trying to accomplish by letting me explain the problem?

"Do you think I'm abusing my powers?" I blurt out.

Chat looks surprised. "What?"

Letting out a huff, I cross my arms. "Back when Kung Food attacked, I showed up to judge the food tasting and ended up under the Akuma's control and-" I choke on the words. "And nearly defeated you guys." I look away now, the defiance and anger suddenly dissipating. "I was Faon when it wasn't necessary, so… Was that- Was that really all my fault?"

"Faon…" The blond starts, sounding so sorry for me that I can't help but laugh a little.

"What am I saying, of course it is…" I grumble, he definitely thinks it is, his tone basically gave it away.

"What? I didn't say that!"

I scoff. "Yeah, alright."

Biting down a yelp as a pair of hands wrap around my shoulders, I got turned to face the cat hero's face fully now. His bright green eyes narrow indignantly. "Faon, believe me, you're not the only one who abuses your powers."

I swallow, scanning his face for any sort of lies. Unlike Ladybug, Chat's expressions are painfully honest, and right now he just looks hurt that I wouldn't even consider his words.

"I'm back." Ladybug interrupts, ruining the moment as I scoff again at her impeccable timing, shaking the blond's arms off of me, the cat hero looks away dejectedly. The superheroine wraps a wristband around the stair railing's banister, the stench of it so strong I had to take a step back.

"Et voila!" She places her hands on her hips before looking at us. "Be sure to lock up all the windows and doors, after that, we wait." She declares.

After we made sure that the entire building was properly fortified, Chat and I decided to keep watch, sitting by the window, watching the animals run around. Unlike usual, the silence that stretches between us was palpable, the cat hero fidgeting so much I almost wanted him to just spit it out already.

Must be a lot of pressure, watching two of your teammates fight . I let out a sigh.

Suddenly something sprays the back of our necks, causing the both of us to yelp and jump away. Spinning around, I notice Ladybug holding what seems to be a can of something.

"Geez, give a guy a warning next time." I grumble, face heating up at the embarrassing reaction.

"What's that stuff anyway?" Chat adds.

Ladybug shrugs. "Air freshener, it'll cover up the scent so he can't smell us."

The blond sniffs himself. "Thanks! I've always wanted to smell like... Ocean summer breeze?"

For the first time in a while, I snicker lightly. "Better than smelling like cheese all the time."

Chat definitely blushes this time. "I-It's not like I ask to smell like this!"

Smirking, I can't help but move closer to him for a better sniff. After so long, having Chat not smell like cheese anymore is plain jarring . "So you're saying that your Kwami's the one that likes cheese? As if I'd believe a cat would eat that."

"But- I- Um-" The blond frantically looks around, picking a box off the floor and holding it in between us as some sort of barrier. "C-Couldn't we capture him inside something like this?" He squeaks out. Blinking, I lean back, not realizing how close I've gotten. I internally berated myself, what's going on with me? I was just angry with Chat moments ago and now I'm all cuddly with him, I desperately need some sleep.

"That won't work if he transforms into something bigger." Ladybug theorizes, looking out the window. "There! That bus would be our best bet!"

Frowning, I look at the distance between the bait we set in the shop and the bus. "That sounds well and good, but how are we gonna get it to-"

An eagle screeches from a distance.

"Predator! Get down!" I whisper, grabbing my teammates by the shoulders and pushing them down to hide.

Peeking from the window, the three of us notice an eagle circling the entrance, before a black cloud surrounds it and it disappears. In its place, a ladybug flies towards the door, sliding through the gaps. Ladybug (the superhero one) slowly creeps up to the Akuma circling the wristband on the stairs, box in hand, she traps the ladybug inside of it.

"A Ladybug? Good choice." She comments. I subtly pout, no way the Akuma's gonna transform into a deer, which bums me out a little.

The box suddenly rumbles, and a fully grown panther jumps out of it like some kind of weird magic trick.

Letting out yelps, the three of us start running around the bakery, the Akuma messing up everything in there before chasing us out of the store and nearer to the bus.

"Couldn't he have chosen a slower-moving animal!?" Chat Noir whines as Ladybug dives into the bus, the blond and I following suit.

Hiding behind a bunch of bus seats at the end of the bus, my heart starts racing again as the Akuma slowly approaches, gods I didn't realize how much I hate panthers until now. Sharing a look with Ladybug, the three of us jump out of our hiding spots and leap to the entrance of the vehicle. Chat and I used our staffs to make some distance between the animal and us.

"The doors are locked!" Ladybug yells before running to the controls and smashing a couple of buttons. She groans as nothing happens. "Of course nothing works! No key!"

I huff, turning back to the Akuma, this time facing an adult-sized bear. Paling, I shove Chat behind me as he falls with an "oof", narrowly avoiding a swipe from the bear, I crouch down, leaping directly at the animal, the strength from the jump enough to topple it to the floor along with me.

"What do we do now!? I can't wrestle a bear!" I yell, frantically dodging aimed bites from the Akuma's jaws before the animal kicks upwards, throwing me off as I slam into the ceiling of the bus with a gasp before falling back down in a heap.

"Faon!"

Blinking through the daze, I look at the bear looming over me before a yo-yo wraps around it. The Akuma turns back into a ladybug, and Chat Noir throws his staff at it, which it dodges before turning back into a panther, although it does look more weary than before.

"All these transformations seem to be tiring it out!" Ladybug realizes as I stand back up, taking a step back to my team.

"Then just let him wear himself out. It'll make it easier to capture his Akuma!" Chat says, running to the bus controls and activating his Cataclysm. Slamming it down on the control panel, the bus goes haywire as the three of us take turns leaping out of the glitching out bus doors. The Akuma tries to chase after us, but by then the bus breaks down, permanently keeping its doors shut.

"It's not exactly a cage but… It'll do." Ladybug decides. I sigh in relief, taking some time to process everything that just happened, my brain way too slow for all this superhero work right now.

The Akuma turns into a bear and tries to bust out of the doors but fails to do so.

"I don't think he can bear to listen to that noise." Chat says teasingly as I snort, but otherwise kept my mouth shut.

Ladybug says nothing, but I feel her subtly looking at me. Ignoring her, I settle for looking at the Akuma's many different attempts at transforming to get out of its predicament.

Soon enough, it turns back into a panther before collapsing onto the floor.

"It's working!" Ladybug exclaims.

I face palm, that was definitely a jinx. Ladybug jinxed us.

The bus starts rumbling and its tires break off and roll away. The roof of the bus suddenly splits open with a loud creak as the head of a Tyrannosaurus rex appears from within. It climbs onto the bus, its weight easily splitting it in half as it roars at us, the noise almost deafening to me especially.

"Hey! Since when do extinct animals count!?" Chat yells, as if calling it out on it would make it turn back.

"The T-Rex might have disappeared a long time ago, but technically it's… still an animal." Ladybug reminds us.

I huff. "Should've picked a cooler dinosaur then." Looking at my teammates who are giving me confused looks. "What? T-rexes have big heads, and little arms, I'm just not sure that it had this whole plan thought through."

Chat and Ladybug share a look. "Wait!" Chat shouts. "Was that from-"

The Akuma lands directly in front of us, cracking the floor beneath it as it roars at us again.

"N-Nevermind! We need to run!" Chat amends before the three of us high tail out of there. Making a sharp turn, the dino crashes into a nearby cafe as the three of us duck behind a car.

"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug throws her yo-yo in the air as a car jack falls in her arms. "Huh?" She holds it up to inspect.

"Too bad the dino doesn't have any flat tires." The cat hero comments.

"Wait!" Ladybug looks at the dinosaur trying to sniff us out. "Faon's right! Look at how short its arms are!"

"So it won't be great at basketball. What are you getting at?" Chat asks.

The superheroine attaches the car jack to her hip. "You two can climb on top of it where it can't swipe at you, and while it's distracted, I'll floor it!"

"Sounds like a good plan!" Chat grabs me by the shoulders. "I can be very distracting, right deer?"

"Huh?" I blink, looking at my teammate in confusion, he looks at me with pleading eyes. "Sure?" I say, wondering why he's suddenly so nice to me now, the blond sighs.

Before anything else could be said, the car behind us was crushed flat. The T-rex found us, panicking, the three of us ran forward, Ladybug taking a sharp detour as Chat and I continued forward.

"Chat! Come here!" I yell, the blond nods, jumping onto my arms, I throw him back before leaping backward myself, narrowly avoiding a bite from the Akuma and landing on its back next to Chat.

"Just hold on!" I scream, grabbing onto whatever scale I could get on this Akuma along with the blond as it frantically tries to shake us off.

Ladybug didn't hesitate, taking advantage of the opportunity to wrap her yo-yo around the Akuma's legs and yanking, tying its legs together and toppling it onto the floor. Chat and I was sent flying but managing to land next to it just fine.

Ladybug meets up with us, car jack still in her hands. "Well, that's weird, we didn't have to use this. What does it mean?" She ponders. I shrug.

"Well, I guess that only means we rock as a team." Chat decides, sauntering to the dino to get his Akuma, which upon inspection, should be the bracelet wrapped around its arm.

"Chat Noir, wait!" Ladybug yells, yanking him by the tail as the Akuma suddenly bites at him.

"I know what to do." Ladybug declares, before running directly at its face.

What!?

"Ladybug!" Chat and I scream in horror as the superheroine dives into the Akuma's open mouth, its jaws slamming shut right behind her.

I pale, a deep settling chill runs down my spine and I want to vomit.

The Akuma ate Ladybug? That's so messed up, that so incredibly messed up!

"You're gonna pay for this!" Chat shouts, winding up to run directly at the dino too, I probably have to stop him, if I could regain control of my body anytime soon.

Suddenly, a loud creaking emanates from the dino's jaws. Ladybug, winding up the car jack in its mouth and prying it open, smirks at the two of us before grabbing the bracelet, and breaking it, purifying the Akuma.

Hearing Chat heave a sigh of relief as the Ladybugs start swarming around the city. I blink, the previous devastation all gone and…

Replaced with unbridled frustration.

"What the HELL Ladybug!?" I yell, shocking both the superheroine and her partner.

"What?" The bluenette looks confused, which only served to make me more mad as I stomped up to her, ignoring the blond's surprise looks.

"What do you mean 'what?', you jumped into the mouth of a freaking dinosaur!" I yell, arms flailing about, trying to get her to see the absurdity of the situation.

She shrinks back, clearly surprised by this. "My Lucky Charm gave me the car jack, so it was the right-"

"Your Lucky Charm this time was bullshit!" I snarl. "I could think of a hundred and one different ways to get the bracelet other than that." I glare at the yo-yo on her hip. "You rely too much on that power, I thought you of all people would know that. Since you're apparently an expert on that topic."

Clearly hitting a sore spot, the superheroine glares back at me. "Oh yeah? How would you do it then?"

"Guys, c'mon, it's over, let's just-" Chat tries to say, but it was too late, I'm too tired and frustrated to deal with anything else.

"You're seriously asking me that?" I snatch Chat's staff from behind him, pressing a button, extending it all the way to the sky in front of the bluenette. "Method one, Chat's staff, extend it and hook it." I throw the staff back to the blond and pull out my own weapon. "Method two!" I activate my Mind's Eye, turning my blowgun into a stick with an automated claw on top of it. "I make a damn hand with MY Miraculous!" I stow my weapon away, looking at my teammate bitterly. "Your way of thinking is so restricted by your Lucky Charm that you forget your own teammates , who might I remind you, are supposed to help ! Not watch you get eaten! "

I wanted to say more, I really did, but a quiet camera flash suddenly snaps me out of my anger. Looking around, I noticed that I had drawn quite the crowd with my outburst. Paling slightly, I step back, this isn't what I wanted, I wanted to tell Ladybug off, not embarrass ourselves in front of cameras.

People laughing at videos gone viral, being the talk of the town for weeks .

"I…" I try to speak, but no words come out. Steadying my breath, I jump away instead, leaving my two teammates in stunned silence.
