(Authors Note)
Man, First I was working on a chapter for a story I made a long time ago about TF2, then moved to making an original Homebrew DnD story, then made several crossovers of MHA, and now this-A story about Detroit: Become Human and an OC I made…I am just a workaholic on story making. Anyways, hope you enjoy.

The android slowly opened his eyelids as his systems booted up, allowing his optical systems to calibrate. Once his eyes were fully opened, he decided to look around and analyze this unknown environment. He appeared to be in a room of sorts, made to serve as a (probable) impromptu laboratory.
The floor was riddled with fast food wrappers, crumpled up balls of paper and wires going nearly everywhere and nowhere at once. The wall to the left had a white-board that was smeared with black markings, with a drawing in the middle surrounded by dozens of words and pictures. The drawing depicted schematics of a body of sorts, having astute measurements on height, arm length, names of biocomponents and a few other things. Next to the drawing was a blueprint of sorts, but since his systems were still calibrating, it just appeared as a blue blur with white splotches and lines. The wall to the right, had a desk with six active monitors on it, sharing the same messiness as with the floor. The android wanted to interact with the monitors, but his scanner still needed time to reboot and properly calibrate.
After all of his systems were fully booted up, the synthetic humanoid then looked into his internal CPU to analyze the time and present date.

After seeing everything he needed, the android tried to move out of the spot he was in.
He did not budge.
RK1000 tried lifting his left leg, no movement. He then attempted to move his right arm, only to be met with the same result as the leg.

RK1000 noticed the small red warning on his H.U.D, and dismissed it after a couple of seconds. He then started to compile the facts and clues he was met with in his cybernetic mind: He was in a room designed to act as a lab of sorts, unable to move anything besides his optical sensors, even though his self-diagnostic stated that all of his biocomponents were at 100% integrity which should include his arms and legs.
He thought about why he was unable to move the rest of his body, when he looked up and saw a small black camera right above the room's door frame. The synth squinted his eyes, and scanned the camera, hoping the data from it would provide more answers.

[Series: ADC720 Series]
[Installation Date: 3/12/2038]
"...Odd." RK1000 thought, after looking through the data he collected from the scan. "This camera has been installed one month, four weeks, and a day ago. It is probably a way to keep an eye on guests to keep them from getting into trouble." He kept skimming through the data. "The firewall is strong, but not strong enough to permit a backdoor from being installed. If I can wirelessly connect to the camera, I should be able to gain access to the security system, and figure out where I am."
He was nearly about to interface with the camera, when a sound was heard. The non-humanoid looked at the door, and saw that it had 4 automatic locks, and they were being unlocked one by one.

The locks to the door let off a synchronized *beep* once they were all unlocked. Once the door fully opened, a man walked through and looked at the android. RK1000 then scanned the man, and either the man noticed but was playing it off to keep suspicion down or he was just staring at him for a different reason.
[Name: Akoni Williams]
[Ethnicity: Jamaican-American]
[Age: 34]
[Born: 5/12/2002]
[Criminal Record: None]
[Current Job: D.P.D Crime Scene Investigator]
The both of them were in complete and utter silence, not saying a word, with the sound of PC monitors gently humming in the background.
"Well, dis a new." Akoni finally spoke, his voice deep with a heavy Jamaican accent. The android looked up towards the muscular figure of the Jamaican, his long strands of braided hair either hanging down his shoulders or tucked neatly underneath his rasta cap.
RK1000 did not know if the man who entered the room meant any ill intent, so he decided to try to introduce himself to him, hopefully to gain more information on his current predicament.
He opened his synthetic lips, but no sound came out besides a deafening screech of radio static. As quickly as he opened his lips, he clamped them shut and observed Akoni, as he rubbed his left ear with his hand while holding a foreign foam cup in his right. RK1000 went to scan it, but thanks to Akoni's statement, he didn't need to.
"Mi step out tuh grab miself a cup of coffee, an di next ting mi kno, mi side project's up an at it." Akoni stated, as he walked over to his desk and set down his caffeinated bean juice, before walking back over to the android.
Normally, any android in this situation would question their potential kidnapper to gain more information and whether or not they should deem them hostile. But since the last time RK1000 tried to speak, he nearly deafened his only suspect in the matter and may have alerted any nearby civilians of his whereabouts, so he retained his questioning until after he was able to properly say a singular word. Apparently, Akomi was rather good at figuring out what people are thinking of, because his next statement may have confirmed that theory if it was made.
"I know you're confused about why and how you got here, but if you would just give me a second, I'll explain everything." Akoni said in near perfect English, his accent reduced down to a tinge. RK1000 didn't say anything on the matter, only staring at him with a blank expression.
Seeing this as a way to go ahead, Akoni walked over to his desk, taking himself a seat in the spinning chair that was neatly tucked into the desk's underspace, and then grabbed the styrofoam mug and took a mighty swig of the scalding caffeine-induced liquid.
After that, he put the mug down, and straightened up in his chair, keeping his eyes locked onto the robotic humanoid. "Alright time tuh start explaining Hope yuh comfortable inna dat brace, 'cause dis a a guh tek a while…"
