Giyuufan: Too much pepper.
Generallius: So, the kiss was accidental, at least with how it ended up, but… I'm not say that either didn't enjoy it.
Crazybeebee:I think it would a bit of a frustrating friendship. They're different enough to get along, but also not necessarily understand each other. Surge would want to burn stuff for fun, Blaze would would be entirely against using her powers so irresponsibly, they'd get annoyed with each other but be a good team, and still try to help the other when problems arose.

Sonic slumped against Amy's couch as she pulled the next dress, a bright purple sleeved dress with a frilly waist, into her changing room. Sonic couldn't understand why she needed a dressing room as opposed to changing in her bedroom, but it was her house.
"So… how long has it been since we last went to the Meat Shack?" Amy asked as began to put on the dress.
"A while… A long while." Sonic sighed. It wasn't like the food was bad, but Sonic was a friend to chilidogs everywhere. Cheap, tasty, and edible on the go.
"Well, I'm glad we're finally getting around to going back there." Amy's soft, easy treading voice came to Sonic's ears.
"I'm sorry we didn't on our walk because of… you know." Sonic gulped as Amy opened the curtain in her new dress. Purple eye-liner around her eye, dark red lip stick on her lips, her quills brushed back in a ponytail.
"What do you think?" Amy smiled, giving a twirl.
Sonic winced at the sight.
"Too much purple?" Amy asked, seeing is expression.
"A little." Sonic gave an apologetic smile.
Amy closed the curtain, "It's fine. I was looking forward to our walk… but I suppose it worked out."
"Y-Yeah." Sonic smiled nervously.
Amy's hand reached out and grabbed a new dress, which was green with open shoulders, and pulled it inside, "So… what are you going to do about Eggman?"
"What do you mean?" Sonic asked, not quite sure he liked the way she asked the question.
"Well, he's still out there. Do you want to grab him and throw him in prison?" Amy asked from behind the curtain.
"Nah, He's done. No sense in beating him down any further." Sonic laughed nervously. He knew that answer probably wasn't going to please Amy, but it was his genuine thought.
"So you're just going to keep going after him, forever and ever until one of you eventually drops dead? Has it ever occurred to you that there is more to life than simply running around and smashing robots?" Amy sighed in agitation. She opened the curtain.
Sonic saw the green dress and the purple eye-liner. It still didn't sit right with him.
"No… Alright." Amy growled, clearly not happy with it either.
"Red is your color." Sonic sighed, nestling back in the couch, " I know, and I do want to enjoy a nice break from breaking Eggman's toys. I might be getting some extra time to smell the flowers really soon."
"Because of Surge?" Amy asked, sounding somewhat on guard.
"I mean… if she takes Eggman on weekends, I can get a little free time." Sonic tried to laugh it off but it was clear that Amy didn't exactly approve.
"I don't think Surge can be… civilized with people. I just think that she might not be the hero material. Why do you think she'll do good as your back up? Why not Shadow?" Amy asked. Sonic got the feeling she didn't like Surge, which would make sense because of Surge's little stunt back there.
"Shadow's cool, and he helps sometimes, but he's so busy doing his Jason Boar thing I can't count on him." Sonic sighed, slumping back at the thought of Edge lord tagging along.
Amy opened the curtain and walked out in a pink dress, which blended way too much with her quills, "What do you think?"
"Blends in, you look naked." Sonic had looked away because that was what he thought.
Amy closed curtain, "What about Knuckles and Tails?"
"They're great and all, but we're all part of team. We all do something different. Not to mention, Knuckles has his giant rock to guard." Sonic chuckled, before grabbing some water from the kitchen.
Sonic came back and sighed, "I think Surge needs someone to listen to her, help her through life. Starline did… a lot of things to her. I think she needs a good therapist." Sonic laughed at that last bit and waited for her reaction.
Amy's head burst through the curtain, seeming to be surprised and a little annoyed, "You want me to listen to her? You really think that's a good idea?"
Sonic scratched his cheek, "You're a great therapist."
"I'm not a therapist. I still think you need to talk to a professional." Amy pointed out, before going back inside the curtain.
"I'm fine." Sonic sighed, sitting up, tapping his foot nervously.
Amy walked out with a red blooming dress. Sonic gave her a nod, "Yep, that's best." She still had her eyeliner and lipstick on, but they didn't really clash with the dress.
"You know, the Chaotix could use some extra work. I imagine they wouldn't mind keeping the city safe for a while. Heck Vector might enjoy having Charmy get his energy out." Amy smiled, holding out an arm for Sonic to take. "Speaking of which, where is the little guy?"
Sonic laughed, "I'm sure he's fine, what ever he's doing."
Sonic wore a white shirt with a red tie, encased in a black jacket. Really formal, but Amy's insistence won out.
They zipped off to the Meat Shack. Sonic set Amy down with about ten minutes to spare for their reservation.
"You really want to believe in her?" Amy asked as they waited outside the restaurant.
"I want to think she can be better. I want to help her, because I know she can be awesome… Surge just… needs a hand to help her make sense of everything." Sonic frowned. He was really lucky, to not have that tragic story that made everyone seem to hate the world.
"Well…. We can talk about it when she shows up. Goodness knows we won't talk to anyone else probably from her outfit alone." Amy sighed, crossing her arms.
Sonic couldn't fault Surge for not coming in fine clothes. Heck, where would she even get them? She could rob a place, and that was about the only way she was going to show up in new clothes.
"Is that…. Wait, is that her?" Amy asked in disbelief.
Sonic raised his head to look at what Amy was talking about.
Thump-thump-…
Sonic felt his heart stop, and skip a beat briefly. Sonic wasn't sure who he was looking at with his first glance.
Starting from below, Sonic saw short, black high-heels, which covered a pair of feet connected to green legs. Going up, there was a short dark-grey dress which hung loosely around the knees. Going up to the waste, the rest of the dress clung nicely to the body, being held up by two shoulder straps. Around the neck, quills hung loosely, going straight down.
If not for her black face mask and her earrings, Sonic wouldn't have known who she was. Still, Sonic needed to confirm what he was seeing, "S-Surge?"
"Y-Yeah." Surge stumbled forward, looking down. She was embarrassed, but Sonic didn't see why. She looked good. No eyeliner or lipstick, and yet there was something awesome about that natural look.
Sonic continued to gape at her, not sure if he could respond. Surge wobbled towards him, gasping in annoyance as he held out a hand to help her stabilize.
"Having trouble?" Amy asked with a bit of a taunting tone.
"How do you walk in these stupid things?" Surge growled as she stumbled forward on to Sonic's shoulder.
Amy growled, but Sonic couldn't see her face through Surge's quills. "Yeah, they take some getting used to." Amy's voice surprised Sonic with a level of gentleness that he wasn't expecting.
Sonic saw Amy giving a light smile on her face as he turned to face her while partially spinning Surge around.
Surge pulled back, clearly trying to stand on her own, before holding her arms out to stabilize herself. Sonic took another moment to fully take in how much she dressed up for this occasion.
"Wow… uh… you look good." Sonic laughed a little.
"Yeah, I freaking know." Surge grumbled, clearly not used to the strange fashion and clothing. Still, Sonic noted how she'd stopped swearing, at least for the moment.
A throat cleared behind Sonic and he turned around to see a little blue Fennec standing there, his normal shaggy hair combed over in a rather suave fashion. He was in a tiny white button-up shirt, and a little red bow around his neck. Over the shirt, he wore a black jacket. He still had his pack on his back, funny enough. Kit opened his arms, as if to either be picked up or to be complimented on his very snazzy appearance.
"You look so cute!" Amy practically squealed at the little Fennec. Kit perked up at her, looking shocked as if he didn't know what to do.
Kit looked mildly outraged, "I'm not cute… I'm dependable and professional." He whined quietly.
"Of course you are." Amy tried to correct her mistake in upsetting the little fox. Kit still slumped down.
"Drippy, you're adorable." Surge grumbled at the Fennec, who looked betrayed by her comment. Still, he slumped down, and nodded.
"Yes ma'am." Kit slumped down.
Surge growled, "Alright, are we gonna freakin or something? Come on!"
A few of the waiting patrons turned their head and began to mumble.
"If these shoes didn't screw with my feet, I'd be over there choking them." Surge growled at Sonic.
"Well, I guess it's good those shoes are on your feet." Sonic laughed, before surge passed him a glare. Sonic caught his voice and laughed a little, "I'll go check and see our reservation is ready…"
Sonic zipped inside and talked to the clerk.
"Yes sir, Mr. Hedgehog. Your table is waiting." Sonic smiled and nodded at the coyote who was attending the counter.
Sonic walked out and greeted his "party", and bring them in.
He walked with both Surge and Amy holding his arms. Amy because she loved "romantic" gestured, and Surge because she was still having trouble with balance, even with the smaller spikes on the heels.
Surge growled as they finally sat down at the table. Kit ran along and jumped up in the seat next to Surge's. Sonic stopped at the chair next to Kit, and Surge pulled off to sit down. The Red and Green block
Amy then walked over and saw by Sonic, but across from Kit.
A waitress came by, "Hello, Welcome to the Meat Shack, are you new here?" She asked with a smile.
"A few of us are." Sonic smiled up at her.
"Well, You flip the wooden block so that the green side is up to get meat, or if you want a break, flip so that the red side is up." The waitress then left them.
Sonic looked at Surge for the signal.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Come on, I'm fucking hungry." Surge growled, annoyed.
Sonic knew a couple eyes glanced their way, but Sonic flipped the block.
"So… Surge, what have you been up to?" Amy asked lightly, clearly at least trying to be nice. Probably for Sonic's sake, but still, nice.
Surge glanced Amy's way clearly not interested in the empty plate in front of her, "Saving his friends, like you."
Amy nodded, "Is that all?" She put up a smile, that told Sonic how forced her friendly nature was.
"Alright, what's up? You aren't being a-… jerk around me, and now you're tryin' to be buddy-buddy. What are you up to?" Surge growled, glaring at Amy as Kit tried to hold his hands up to calm her down.
Amy sighed, "Sonic simply pointed out that I don't know your story, so I may be a little mean. I am sorry." Amy sounded so mature.
Surge squinted at her, but whatever she was going to say was cut off as a waiter came by, "Alright, we have Garlic Sirloin."
Sonic and Amy raised their hands. Surge looked Sonic like he acting like a chicken. Sonic had to remember she was new, "Raise your hand if you want what they're serving."
Surge raised her hand, and Kit did too. The waiter cut off thin slices of meat and placed them on the plates.
Sonic watched Surge take the first bite, before nodding, "Yep, that's steak with garlic in it. Pretty good."
"And it's all you can eat." Sonic pointed out, with a happy smile. Kit was enjoying his slice, as his ears perked up at Sonic's reminder.
"Sheeeet Faker, you were holdin' out on us." Surge snorted with glee as she almost swallowed the rest of her slice whole.
Amy shook her head as a few heads turned their way. Sonic simply ate his as more meat came by.
"A Tri-tip." The waiter showed off the seared piece of meat along with his very long, sharp knife.
Everyone held up their hand, and more meat was placed on their plates. Kit had wide eyes from the thin slice of steak that was placed on his plate.
Surge almost immediately swallowed her piece of meat ats it got placed on her plate.
Amy asked, "So… Surge… Sonic has told me how much of a big help you have been with rescuing the others."
Surge swallowed as Sonic got his piece of, "Yeah, I could have told you that. No big deal. Just me being awesome."
Amy nodded, "Right… Well, I was wondering what plans you have for the future." She was really trying to not be hostile, and Sonic could see it.
Surge looked down at her plate, "Future? I'm going to find out what happened to me, and get my past back. Kit too." Surge didn't growl, she just sounded… unsure.
"Right… Well, I hope you find out everything you need to." Amy smiled as another waiter brought over ham. Sonic shook his head, but the other three got their slices. Sonic didn't like the ham.
Surge glared at Amy, "I'm sure you fucking do." She was whispering, but only enough so that the other tables wouldn't hear.
Sonic waved over a waiter.
"Yes, may I get you something?" The tall fox asked.
"Some wine. Red, something good?" Sonic asked, and the waiter seemed a little upset that Sonic didn't give a specific name, but he nodded, and walked off.
Sonic smiled, "Amy's very nice. She struggles with boundaries sometimes, but she means well most of the time." Sonic tried to laugh as Surge glanced his way with a raised eyebrow. She snorted at his comment, so Sonic took the win.
Amy, on the other hand, looked outraged, "I'll have you know, I am very respectful of other people's boundaries."
"Yet you can't seem to keep your hands off me." Sonic mumbled, hoping that she wouldn't hear.
"Those are friendly hugs that you will look back on with our children and say that was the moment." Amy proudly stated as if it were ever going to happen.
Surge, however, beat Sonic to punch, "Or they'll be the moments where he realized he dodged a bullet."
Wine waiter returned, along with a waiter carrying sausages, "A sauvignon, three year. Perfect for romantic evenings."
Sonic slumped down but raised his hand for the sausages, "You just made it worse." Sonic mumbled, but his glass filled up, and he wasn't going to waste it.
Everyone got a glass except for Kit, who was too busy purring with his whole sausage he got.
"MM, So romantic." Amy hummed as she sipped her wine.
Surge rolled her eyes and took a swig of a three year old bottle of wine.
Amy finally asked, "So Who's idea was this little team up you had?" she asked with a smile but Sonic knew she was very much prying out of suspicion.
Surge snorted again, "If you think I would have spent a minute around him without trying to kill him first, you're crazy. I would have fucking murdered him on sight." Surge raised her glass at that statement.
"So… Sonic asked for your help?" Amy asked while giving Sonic a dangerous glare. Sonic sighed slumped down. Then Amy just straight up decided to aske the question on her mind.
"So do you like him?" Amy pried. Sonic wasn't sure if she was drunk or he was. They both only had a glass of wine so far, but Sonic sobered up quickly.
He could feel the burning… anger? Embarrassment? Regret? Sonic couldn't pin it down. Sonic was about to ask Amy to wave it off, but he found himself interested in the answer.
Surge got uncharacteristically calm, before taking another swig of wine from her glass as Spicy Chicken made it's way to their table. "I… I don't know."
"You don't know?" Amy asked, sounding skeptical.
"I don't know." Surge repeated as Kit looked up at her curiously, "I like him. He's awesome, cool, don't let it go to your head, asshole. But I got a voice tell me to fucking end him. Once we find out about my past, I'll be gone." Surge sounded, depressed.
Sonic hated to see her like that, "I don't want you to go."
Amy jerked her head as Surge groaned, "Look, We both knew this shit was going to happen. You needed my help because you can't beat fatass, and I wanted a place with plumbing and warm food. It came, it happened, it'll be done soon enough." Surge slumped back, and sighed again. She looked so depressed.
Amy glared at Sonic, "Do you like her?" She squinted very suspiciously at him.
Sonic was about to deny it, but then he got an idea, "Oh yes. I love her so much. I want to jump on her and smother her in kisses all over."
Surge growled, as a piece of Parmesan Sirloin worked its way onto her plate, "Keep talking and you'll get your fucking chance to kiss my fist."
Sonic smiled as she glared at him angrily, "There she is, the good ol' angry Surge we know and love." S
Amy had gone through three stages of grief before realizing what Sonic had done, and smiled, "Well, I would have gotten very upset if that had been your honest answer." She had her hand behind her back as if to make her point.
Surge raised her empty glass, rolling her eyes once again.
Amy turned to Kit, "What about you? Have you been doing anything."
The little Fennec blinked and smiled, opening his mouth, before closing it and looking at Surge.
"Go on, Drippy, tell them what you think for all I care." Surge groaned as her glass got refilled ,then Sonic's and Amy's.
"Well, I have a new friend. He's nice." Kit mumbled. Was he talking about Tails? "He's a fox… Tails?"
Amy smiled and shook her head, "I know Tails. I take it you like working in his workshop?"
"It's a lot of fun. We cut things and screw things and hammer things. We're building a plane." Kit smiled, and Sonic actually saw his tail wagging.
Amy smiled, "Well, That's nice. It's always good to make friends."
Sonic nodded, and ate some more steak. Surge and Amy drank a little more wine while Kit munched on another round of tri-tip. They continued to eat and make subtle jokes at each other.
"So…." Amy smirked, looking a little relaxed, " You look a little different from when we first met. What happened to your head band?"
Surge fumbled her words as she ate another bite of Garlic sirloin, "One of your friends got the idea to hide my fucking band. I'll pay them back though."
Sonic laughed a bit, "Well, you look good. Again."
"Yeah, Yeah, You don't look so bad yourself." Surge grumbled, slumping back. She looked a little relaxed as well. Another slice of meat made its way onto their plates. Sonic was pretty sure it was the parmesan steak, but he was also… relaxed.
"You know, this shit sucks." Surge sighed, leaning back as she seemed to be even more depressed. Sonic could see that she was starting to get full.
"What? I thought you liked the food?" Sonic asked, feeling a little bad that she didn't enjoy the food.
"Nah, the food's great. Just… I don't know. I don't wanna go." Surge slumped down, "Damn, I had way too much to drink."
Sonic laughed as they finished up, but he didn't feel right in his stomach .He definitely either ate or drank too much.
"Alright, so, are we going to zip home? Carry me, my valiant knife… knight." Amy staggered onto the street.
"I… I'm going to take a walk." Sonic mumbled, feeling the burning in his stomach.
"Take a walk? Sonic, are you ok?" Amy asked as he started on the side walk, taking a deep breath.
"Yeah, you don't look so good. Take it fucking slow for all I care." Surge grumbled, scrunching her eyes as she kept up.
They walked to the city square where Sonic began to hear an orchestra performing in the park. He was just going to pass by and enjoy the music.
Amy had other ideas, however, and grabbed Sonic's arm, "Come on, let's go dance in moon light."
Sonic was feeling better, but he wasn't exactly feeling a dancing mood, "Amy, come on, I'm not feeling well."
"A good Dance is what you need." Amy stated proudly, grabbing Sonic's arm and pulling him onto the grass.
"Come on, Let's just fucking go already. " Surge growled. She looked agitated, but for a reason Sonic couldn't really understand.
Sonic didn't want to dance, but he knew Amy wasn't going to take no for an answer while she was in a mood. So he walked out with her and began to sway with his hands on her hips.
Amy leaned in as they swayed in the moonlight, "You don't want to see her go, do you?"
Sonic sighed glumly but whispered back at her, "I don't. I know that she can't be alone. Nothing good will come from it."
Amy had a look in her eyes. She was sad, frustrated with him, but she closed her eyes, "Well, Then make her stay." Amy then shocked Sonic by doing something he never thought she would.
She pulled away from the Dance, "Hey Surge, I'd like to take Kit for a dance."
Sonic, Surge and Kit all had confused and shocked faces from that statement. Surge burst up, "What kind of weird shit are you into?"
"Come on, Switch with me. I won't hurt the little guy." Amy smiled as she came over and grabbed Kit and picked him up.
Surge growled, holding up her fists in anger, "I ain't dancing with Faker boy."
"Then sit there while I have a fun time with little Kit." Amy forced her smile, and Sonic knew Surge wasn't just going to sit there.
He walked up to her and held out a hand for her. She hesitantly took it, and Sonic led her onto the grass as the band continued to play.
Sonic realized why she was so against this kind of dance. The implications were there, but her legs moved rigidly. She seemed to stagger with each step, clearly having not done a slow dance before. Sonic felt her foot collide with his, causing him to gasp.
"This is why I didn't want to do this shit." Surge growled, tightening a grip on his back quills.
Sonic sighed in her ear, "Just follow my flow. I'm not exactly great at this either." She seemed to relax, and Sonic pressed the side of his forehead against hers.
"I'd like you stick around. We could use someone like you to help keep Eggman at bay." Sonic whispered to her.
"Cool, but I think I'll pass." Surge growled, but she seemed to rub her head against his, "I'd really love to fucking stay, but I got a voice in my head that's not exactly fucking nice to you."
"I'll help you work through it. I'll be by your side the whole way, keeping you off that ledge. You can't go it alone." Sonic whispered to her softly.
"And when I fucking choke you out in the night because you're a moron." She didn't sound angry, just glum, and depressed, but a little curious.
"Then I'll die happy knowing you'll be free, hopefully. If that's what it takes to get you to forgive me for what ever you think I did, then I'll pay it to lead you home." Sonic smiled at her.
Surge stopped, and planted her feet in the ground, "I don't blame you. I blame Starline." She seemed to glare at Sonic, before stepping away, "I'm going back."
Sonic wanted to stop her, but he knew that it was pointless, "Can we at least get a song in."
Surge stopped, and Sonic saw her quills flair up a bit in anger, but she sighed, "One Song, why not?"
Sonic was feeling better, so they collected their respective partners, and ran off.
Amy talked very calmly to Sonic, "Take me home."
"Are you sure you don't want to come by for a song or two?" Sonic asked, feeling kind of bad, like he was excluding her from the group.
"No, Just take me home." She sighed, balling a fist.
Sonic didn't want to, but he decided to respect her wishes. He dropped her off at her house, and waited sheepishly, "Are you sure you-"
"Sonic, I'm tired. Go ahead and have fun with… her." Amy grumbled, before closing door.
Sonic zipped back tohis house, and walked inside.
"Hey Faker, what took you so long?" Surge asked, her eyes closed on the couch, still in her dress-up attire.
"I had to drop Amy-" Sonic then felt his belly rumbling. He zipped off to the toilet. After finishing up, Sonic washed his hands and stepped outside the bathroom. He saw the guest room door open, and Kit run out with a familiar metal headband. Was it in their room the whole time?
Sonic walked down the stairs and into the living room, where Surge had already picked out the song for them to sing. She was back in her regular outfit, but Sonic liked the casual look. He also couldn't have thought of a better song to sing.
She had the mic in her hand as she closed her eyes, "I will run alone tonight, without you by my side. I guess you had a place you had to get to?"
Sonic turned on his mic and gave her a smile as he joined in, "I know your eyes, I know inside, The walls you hide behind, And I saw the truth inside the real you."
The two's eyes met as Sonic launched the next line, "Because I know you're lost when you run away Into the same black holes and black mistakes."
Surge Countered with her own statement, "Taking all my will just to run alone!"
Sonic shook his head, "When are you coming home?" He sang, raising his voice into a scream.
Surge began to walk around Sonic, and he returned, with the two circling each other, "Even if the sky does fall, Even if they take it all?"
Sonic shook his head, "There's no pain that I won't go through, Even if I have to die for you!"
Surge growled and raised her voice, "And when all the fires burn, When everything is overturned?" She glared accusingly at Sonic.
Sonic didn't dare back down, "There's no thing that I won't go through, Even if I have to die for you!"
Surge scowled at his statement, before she softened, "One day the Earth will open wide. And I'll follow you inside, 'Cause the only hell I know is without you."
She then smiled, and stopped circling, before looking up at the ceiling, almost wistfully, "Some day when galaxies collide, We'll be lost on different skies."
Sonic jumped in with a smile of his own, "I will send my rocket ship to find you. Because I know you're lost when you run away, Into the same black holes and black mistakes!" Sonic was happy to raise his voice and his point.
Surge growled back at him, "Taking all my will just to run alone!"
"Until I bring you home!" Sonic smiled at her, "Even if the sky does fall, Even if they take it all!" He wanted that reassurance on her.
"There's no pain that I won't go through, Even if I have to die for you!" Surge screamed, almost as if she was warning him.
Sonic shook his head, "And when all the fires burn, When everything is overturning!"
Surge raised her voice, " There's no thing that I won't go through, even if I have to die for you!"
The two held determined stares at each other as the music began to pick up. Sonic and Surge's mouths morphed into smiles. Surge looked a little more skeptical and seemed to shake her head to re-enforce that idea.
Sonic shook his head as well, before clearing his throat as the next lines came up, "And if the sun grows cold for you along the way! And if the stars don't line to light the way! And when you fall away and crash back down below!"
Sonic saw Surge looking away, so he walked over and put hand on her shoulder. She gave in and turned to meet his eyes, "I'll search the skies for you and I'll follow, I'll be in your afterglow-" Sonic pressed his forehead against hers, his ears flicking inside of hers, "-and I'll bring you home."
Something about those last words shook Surge, before she closed her eyes and rested her forehead on Sonic's, "Even if the sky does fall. Even if they take it all. I can't see but I'll follow you, Even if I die." She whispered.
They raised their heads and smiled. They decided to finish the song together, "And when all the fires burn! When everything is overturned! There's no thing that I won't go through, Even if I have to die for you!"
Sonic and Surge were both panting as the Score tallied up.
Surge was the first to register it, "FUCK YEAH One hundred percent!"
Sonic smiled at her, "Hey." He was getting a little serious, but why not.
Surge turned to him, before letting out an annoyed sigh, "What?"
"At least wait until we find out about your past before you make a decision, ok?" Sonic asked in a very pleading fashion.
Surge hesitated, her face getting frustrated, but she finally conceded, "Fine!... I'm fucking going to bed."
Surge then walked up the stairs. Sonic sighed, but went to check on Tails, and see if he made any progress. He saw the little fox asleep, clutching his desk. Sonic picked up Tails, and carried him to bed.
The journey would be over tomorrow. Would Surge go back to being his enemy? Sonic hoped not… he really liked her.
Sonic closed his eyes, and hoped for the best.
