: The Trip – Part 4 :
"So you all know the plan right?" Chris whispered as he shook his can of shaving foam.
His fateful team of Joseph, Barry, Forest and Brad, were ready for their attack as they each prepared their weapon of choice. Toilet paper was tossed in the air and caught over and over by Joseph and Brad. Barry held two loose pillow cases, over-stuffed with feathers, and Forest with at least 3 tubes of tooth paste, from what could be seen anyway. They all nodded in sync.
"Those fuckers have no idea who they're dealing with." Whispered Joseph as he continued to toss the toilet paper in the air with a rueful grin.
It was 4 in the morning, and about 3 hours ago, a few officers in training in the center thought it'd be hilarious to run in with water guns and water balloons. Not only was it completely childish, but it gave the handful of STARS they'd manage to get a great excuse to use up all the complimentary supplies the center had provided them. None of them had done anything besides dry off with a towel. Their beds were still ruined, but they were all overly excited to gain revenge.
"Forest, you're in first. As much damage as possible." Chris announced as he pointed to him. "No mercy right?" he stated with a smirk.
"Then it's Joseph and Brad." the two men did a quick fist bump. "And then its all me." Barry joked as he shook the two pillow cases.
Chris gave the shaving foam one last shake and nodded at the men. "Lets do this." he whispered as he gently opened the door to their room.
The five STARS members tip toed out of the room. Enrico was meant to be patrolling the halls, but the STARS had assured him that the trainee's were professionals, as were they, so their was no need. Oh how wrong he was. As they approached the room they were sure the trainee's who pulled the prank were, they each arranged themselves in the order of how to approach the room.
They each looked to Chris, their ring leader, for some sort of signal. He began to mouth a count down, and each members holds on their weapons tightened.
'Three..'
Forest's hand tightened around the door handle.
'Two..'
Joseph and Brad began slowly unwinding paper from the toilet rolls.
'One..'
The whole group took in a sharp breath.
"Now!" he whispered harshly, sending the whole group into a flurry of motion.
Claire woke up with a start as she heard the bleeping from the telephone beside her. Groaning, she sat up on her elbows and reached for the offending device and lazily placed it between her ear and shoulder.
"Hello?" Claire answered in her usual husky, just-woke-up voice.
"Hello Ma'am, this is your 6 am wake up call."
Claire gritted her teeth from hearing the time. ".. Thank you." she ground out, not meaning it in the slightest. As soon as she was sure the line went dead, she slammed the phone down and cuddled beneath the blankets once again, completely forgetting she wasn't in her bed, and she had her boss in the next bed, watching her with amusement.
"Not going to get up i take it?" Wesker asked as he laid on his side and mockingly placed all his weight on his elbow and hand under his chin.
Claire's eyes shot wide open.
"C-.. Captain Wesker, I'm so sorry! Yes i was getting up!" Claire stuttered as she fumbled to sit up properly.
"Good." Wesker chuckled and went back to lying down, placing one hand under his head and placing his sunglasses on with the other. At 6 in the morning? "I'd like an egg white omelette with sausage, yellow peppers and turkey bacon, and a cup of black coffee."
Claire's eye twitched.
She sighed and was about to hop out of her extremely comfortable bed when she quickly remembered all she was wearing was a hoody and pair of panties. Fuck me i'm an idiot.
Swallowing all her pride, and deciding against commanding a sleepy looking Wesker to keep his eyes closed, she quickly jumped out of bed and briskly walked to her open suitcase at the end of the bed, literally grabbing the first pair of jeans and any shirt she laid her hands on. Once she found a pair of socks, she padded into the bathroom and softly closed the door, hoping Wesker didn't see her and she could still retain a little bit of dignity around her boss.
Wesker smirked. Through his sunglasses, he couldn't help but stare at the woman presented so skimpily dressed in front of him. He was a man, after all. He couldn't help but wonder how she thought going to bed in panties and a hoody wouldn't eventually be seen by him, but he had no complaints. Her long and creamy thighs and perfectly shaped behind made for quite a nice start to his morning, especially considering how he had spent the night.
He had watched her intently for the entire night, occasionally taking notes when he saw fit. He got out of bed at 3 am and 5:45 am to check her skin as gently as possible, but saw no skin discoloration. There was only one way to check her behavior, and because he knew how much his little dear heart loved her sleep so much, he had arranged for a wake up call last night before calling Birkin. It seemed to make her more irritated than anything, but not violent or in any type of rage.
How fortunate for him and Birkin, the little redhead was clearly a perfect host for G.
Claire came out of the bathroom with her hair down, slightly wavy, with a blush still staining her cheeks. She was in her usual pair of worn jeans and a tight Daft Punk shirt. She sat on the edge of the bed to slip on her shoes when Wesker spoke up.
"I don't think I've seen your hair as anything but straight dear heart, or down for that matter." He stated as he admired the change of pace on her. He never knew how long her hair was, dipping well blow her shoulders, to even just below her breasts.
More like fuck you Chris for suggesting I borrow Jill's hair straightener and not bring my own because we're sharing a room! She mentally growled. Her hair was now a wavy mess, and the reason she had such an expensive hair straightener of her own was because she couldn't stand the sight of it wavy. She did have to blush at Wesker's compliment though. Smooth bastard.
"Thanks.. i hate it though." She said as she self consciously petted the slightly tangled mess. She'd 'style' it once she grabbed breakfast for her and Wesker. "It's quite nice actually." said Wesker as he watched her from his bed. Claire quickly cleared her throat and stood. "I'll go and get you breakfast then Captain."
"Please Claire, call me Wesker, " he requested for probably the 100th time. Claire's blushing was spiking again as she felt the heat in her cheeks, so once again she quickly excused herself to get breakfast.
When Wesker heard the door close, he couldn't help but chuckle. The girl could change from strong and proud to a puddle in 2 seconds around him, and didn't that just make him feel all powerful.
Wesker hadn't slept a wink all night. In order to make sure Claire wouldn't turn, he'd kept a vigilant eye on her. He definitely earned a little shut eye now that Claire was gone. Letting out a groan, he turned onto his side and pulled the blankets up over him.
Ring ring.
Letting out another, now very loud groan, he sat up and snatched the phone from its hook. "What?" Wesker asked, his voice dripping with annoyance.
"Wesker.. uh.." Enrico began, sounding quite unsure of how to begin his sentence. "You.. better get down here."
Dave paced up and down the hall where the offending Alpha's and the offending trainee's lined up on different sides.
The trainee's were scared of Dave, but the STARS weren't worried in the least. They were leaning against the wall, smirking to each other as they slowly saw the colour drain from each of the trainee's faces.
Just then, Enrico marched down the hall towards the two divisions and announced, "Wesker's on his way guys."
That was certainly all they needed to hear before the STARS were more terrified than the trainee's.
"We're fucked." whispered Joseph as he nudged Chris.
"They're not gonna rat us out, we have a deal with them." Chris whispered back. When they'd finished up covering the trainees in tooth paste and feathers, Chris had told the trainee's that if they took full responsibility, they'd tell Claire to mark them out for the RCPD job.
As if he'd actually do that.
Dave continued to pace, no doubt making the trainee's nervous as hell, but Dave knew well that he'd have no such effect on the STARS. That's why the sooner Wesker got there the better.
He knew that they were just trying to have a bit of fun, but Wesker ran a tight ship, and would probably be pissed with them once he arrived. They'd done relatively the same thing the year before and Wesker had them take over all the trainee's duties until they left, which proved to leave a sour taste in their mouths. He thought that'd be reason enough for them to behave this time around.
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Barry rattled off as he caught a glimpse of Wesker's car outside. Claire clearly didn't have time to get dressed in her usual blouse and work pants, as Wesker clearly didn't have enough time to style his hair properly, with the strands hanging loosely around his face. Meaning they had clearly rushed here. Meaning Wesker was either pissed, or going to be pissed.
Sighing deeply, Chris couldn't help but wonder just what they'd do if the trainee's pissed themselves and blamed STARS. Captain Wesker was a creative man when it came to punishments: He could scream so loud it'd shatter all the windows and the whole teams eardrums, he could take out his pistol and shoot each of them between the eyes, he could drag them home using a rope and the bumper of the bus, going about a hundred miles an hour, or..
"Explain! NOW!" Wesker bellowed as he threw the double doors open and marched into the scene. Claire looking absolutely terrified as she followed him with a clipboard, none too fast from the looks of it.
If Chris thought the trainee's looked pathetic, quivering in their boots, he was sure him and his fellow team mates looked even worse.
When he looked each member up and down, seeing their colour devoid faces and slightly shaking hands, he thought he couldn't of been more furious, but the continued silence made him a whole lot more mad. This rag-tag band of morons had interrupted what Wesker hoped would be a pleasant morning breakfast with Claire, hopefully much like the time they'd had dinner, and Claire had put that much more trust in him.
Right now he needed to build her trust. That was his main goal in bringing her on this trip now that she was infected. But nothing could go that smoothly for him, now could it?
"You." Wesker pointed to Joseph with a steady hand, showing he wasn't quite in a rage yet, but boy was he getting there. "Talk."
"C-captain.." He began with a nervous gulp. "The trainee's came into our room at 2 am last night with water balloons and water guns, a-and got us while we were sleeping."
Wesker scoffed. "Get to the reason why i was called here Frost."
"Sir, our room was ruined and Enrico got a little suspicious as to why." Chris interjected.
Wesker practically had steam coming out of his ears. "Chris." he began as he approached him, slightly looming over him as his jaw remained tight and his steely gaze focused directly on him. "You mean to tell me that the hand picked and very professional Captain Marini, called me out of my bed at 6:34 am, because your rooms were untidy?" he asked in the most sarcastic of ways.
"N-no.. What i mean-"
"Oh will you just get to the damned point!" Wesker roared as he felt his patience finally slipped away with the sound of Chris' stuttering.
"Captain Wesker?" Began a man Chris couldn't see from the far side.
Wesker slowly turned his head without moving from his spot. Chris exhaled in relief at the brief break from the mans death glare. Hell, even if the brunt was covered by sunglasses, Chris swore the glare came through.
"What?" Wesker challenged the mystery voice.
A man stepped forward from the line, letting his identity be known to everyone.
Claire inwardly cringed. As if the situation couldn't of been more horrible, Leon of all people had to be the hero. Nice knowing you Leon. She dug her nails into the clipboard as she watched Wesker size Leon up, as he stood straight, eyes forward with his arms at his sides.
"Sir, i apologize for speaking out of turn, but the reason you were brought here so early was due to the noise levels coming from my room at 4:02 am this morning. The noise levels were the result of the men who played the original prank on the STARS having fun in the dorm room after."
Wesker was silent for a few moments. Claire swore her damn heart was in her mouth the beating was so loud. Chris nervously gazed at the unfolding scene and finally knew what it was like for the other STARS members when Chris spoke out at training. The feeling was one of I'm glad i'm not him! but still, Chris did feel a twinge of sympathy for the guy. He'd buy him a beer later to thank him for keeping up his half of the door.
Or, if Wesker decided to rip him in two, Chris would buy him some duct tape, and the good kind too.
The sound of Wesker's combat boots slowly squeaking on the floor as he made his way over to Leon who's eyes dared not to wander made Claire's heart speed up just a little more with every second.
She count a good 20 before he was finally at Leon's side, towering above him as he'd done to intimidate Chris. Slowly he leaned down to Leon's ear, and in normal volume (surprisingly), he asked. "Name."
"Leon S. Kennedy Sir." he quickly replied in a respectful manner, still not daring to move his line of sight from the window in between Barry and Joseph.
"Well, Leon S. Kennedy." Wesker practically mocked. "How may i ask do you know this?"
"I planned it sir."
Claire was pretty sure everyone within a five mile radius cringed at Leon's admittance.
"Oh you did, did you?" Wesker clapped his hands together in mock praise. "Well dear boy, that was quite unwise. Not only did you display childish immaturity in the highest order, but you have the nerve to act as if what you've done would be perfectly acceptable if you were to be accepted into a highly respected program such as STARS?"
"No sir, my behavior was completely unacceptable." Leon stated.
Wesker grunted at how unwavering Leon was, something the STARS were quite shocked by. Looking around and seeing how every other trainee was doing everything in their power to avoid eye contact, he turned around to Claire, who was watching intently. "Claire, dispose of this young mans application to the RCPD, we won't be needing it." he growled loud enough for all, including Leon, to hear.
Leon flinched in his place and Claire nearly protested, had she not remembered how angry Wesker was or that she was his assistant and couldn't of done anything even if she wanted to. Claire solemnly nodded and took out Leon's signature of the RCPD form she'd originally met him through, but before she could even think, Wesker ripped it out of her hands, turned to leon and ripped toe sheet up into confetti.
He allowed the pieces to float to Leon's feet before adding. "I don't need childish men like you on, or near my team." Wesker finished with a glare, and was then stalking off down the halls, leaving the other trainee's Enrico, Dave, STARS and Claire all forgotten. Claire grumbled and cursed the day she accepted the job as she stomped after him.
Everyone else let out a collective sigh, but the STARS were the first to move. All together, Chris, Joseph, Barry, Forest and Brad all gathered around Leon and gave him a pat on the back.
"Maaan, that took guts!" Brad hollered in respect as he saw how pale Leon now was. "Thanks.. " Leon finished quietly, but with a shaky smile to hide how disappointed he now was over how he'd blown his first job opportunity. Even Dave, as he turned his heel and walked in the opposite of Wesker's direction to the lounge, shot him a sympathetic smile. Dave had been the one to recommend he go for Raccoon, because a chance at promotion was the infamous STARS team, and how he'd be perfect, but now that was all shot to hell. As if missing out on the job itself was bad, he was now going to be missing out of Claire too, and he was really starting to like her.
He jumped ever so slightly as he felt a hand slap his shoulder. "Thanks for that man. Leon, right?" Chris asked as he smirked at the trainee and how sorrowful he looked.
"Yeah, thats me." he answered, now looking away from the window and up to one of the STARS members. "The names Chris, Chris Redfield, you might of met my sister?" he asked.
".. She's your sister?" Leon asked, a little taken aback, but now that he thought about it, he did see kind of a resemblance. Chris chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, but listen.. a few of the STARS are going to Micheal's tonight, you in?"
Leon stared blankly at him for a few moments before replying. "Ooohh.. ahh, i dunno Chris.." he wasn't entirely in the mood for going out drinking, especially after being screamed at by one of the men he looked up to so fondly.
"Come on Leon! Let me buy you a beer for standing up to the ol' Nazi dictator, once Wesker's calmed down, i'll talk to him, how about that?"
Leon's eyes bulged for a minute as he watched Chris, waiting for his genuine smile to fade into a fit of laughter, but it never did. ".. Seriously?" Leon asked, to which Chris chuckled. "Of course man! listen, meet us around 9:30 outside the main hall doors, we'll show you a good time." he promised as he walked off down the hall to meet the other STARS as they agreed to all go to the gym for a while.
Leon stood there motionless for a minute. Just yesterday the STARS had no idea who he was. Taking the blame for the whole water balloon thing was just Leon being a nice guy, he hadn't planned that! the two idiots in his room had! Hell, he slept through the whole thing! but what he originally regretted doing for the two idiots was nice working out nicely in his favor. Now he could get close to the STARS, and then maybe he could get a job in Raccoon, and get to know Claire a bit more.
As he strolled down the corridor, he couldn't help but start to hum. What was a bad, sleepless and noisy night, had surprisingly turned into quite a promising day.
What a day it had been. Wesker had practically transformed the Trainee's into performing dogs for his own amusement, and Claire watched in with the utmost sympathy and compassion for the poor men and women he was taking anger out on.
He had made them do the centers obstacle course over and over and over until he was completely 'satisfied' with the results, as he put it, but Claire knew that was a fancy way of him saying 'I got bored of watching them run around like headless chickens.'
Wesker had the poor men and women run around, up and down, through and over the obstacle course all day, for at least 4 hours with only two 10 minute breaks, and those were for his benefit.
A little grumpy from Wesker completely flicking his internal asshole switch from decent guy to full blown dick within 2 minutes of arriving at the center, and treating Claire like his very own performing dog all day, she decided to try and butter him up before they went to the hotel for the day.
Right now, Claire was leaning against the soda machine as she jotted down notes on her clip board, as she awaited Wesker to submerge from the Mens locker room so they could head back to the hotel. She hummed as she recalled the information Wesker had rattled off to her, organizing it into its designated spaced with her loopy, carefree and surprisingly very girly writing.
"Can i get a coke?" asked a voice in front of her. Claire jumped ever so slightly and looked up to see a smirking Leon. She was about to question him when he continued. "You're standing in front of the only soda machine in this wing, and i'm too beat to head over to the main building."
"Oh! Right!" Claire said a little too quickly as she bounced out of the way and watched him insert a coin and push a button. Once she heard the solid thunk of the coke falling down, Leon reached in and took out the bottle, opening it as soon as it was in his grasp and take a long swig. Sighing once he swallowed, he then looked back to Claire with renewed interest.
"So are you going out tonight? With your brother and the STARS?" Leon asked as he tilted the closed coke bottle towards Claire with that winning smile that made her blush. Every damn time! You blush so much, he must think you're broken.
"Mmmm.. " Claire said in mock thought, attempting to sound casual and now wound out like a jack in the box the other times she'd been around him. "I guess so, i have to meet up with Jill and ask her about it later." she finished. You finally sounded casual! It was about freaking time! don't let it go now!
"I'd love if you went, it'd be cool to go somewhere where we can actually talk, you know?" Leon asked, and couldn't help but chuckle at the red in her cheeks. He found it pretty cute actually.
Definitely! was her mental reply, but that sounded pretty forward. And clingy. "Sure yeah." Claire said with a small nod and smile. Alright, i got this.
"Great." Leon finished. "I'll meet you later then, yeah?" Leon asked, but nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the guys locker room door open, and Wesker appear out, hair slicked back and wearing more casual clothes.
He handed Claire some papers and stared at Leon for a moment. That moment felt like about eight years to Leon. It was as if he was trying to make sense of the situation as he looked at Leon, then at Claire. It had all made sense then. A smirk crept its way onto his face as Leon nervously excused himself and shuffled off like a dog with his tail between its legs. So this Leon likes Claire then, does he?
"Come now dear heart we must be going." Wesker chided at a slightly higher volume than usual to make sure Leon heard it, which he did. He chuckled as he placed a hand on Claire's back and gently guided her out of the building to his car.
I'm afraid i don't approve.
Night was falling fast as Claire paced the seating area, trying to get up the courage to ask Wesker could she go out. The moon was full as it cast its light on the whole apartment, illuminating it quite well, only being added by the few lamps Claire had turned on in an effort to not feel by herself as Wesker was downstairs on another call.
"Wesker.. may i please, if you didn't mind.."
Too formal to be you.
"Um.. Wesker, could i maybe.."
Too uncertain, he'd laugh you off the stage if their was one.
"Weskeeer?" Claire said to herself in a sing song voice. "Can i go oouuut?"
You sound like you're four and you're asking for a puppy!
"I just wanna go out!" She groaned to herself as she flopped on the couch in defeat. "Why is life hard." she whispered melodramatically to the walls as she pulled the couch pillow on her face and growled.
She continued to groan into the pillow, even when she thought she heard the door to the apartment close.
Wait, that was the door.
"Are you unwell Dearheart?" Wesker asked with concern as he approached her.
Claire let the pillow fall away from her face and fall on the floor. "Uh.. yeah, i'm alright." she replied, a little confused by his concern. She did think it was nice that he cared though. Wesker and Claire watched each other for a moment. Wesker wondering why Claire wasn't standing up seeing as her boss was in the room, and Claire wondering what the hell he was looking at.
After a moment, Wesker looked away and sat on the lone arm chair beside the three-seater, changing the channel to CNN and relaxing for the first time all day. Lord knows he deserves it.
"Claire, a black coffee if you wouldn't mind." he asked as he gently rubbed his temples, attempting to soothe away the remnants of a headache. When he received no reply he looked up, only to find the redhead in the kitchen, already working on it. Nodding ever so slightly, he turned his attention back to the news. He surely Claire wasn't lying about feeling unwell. If she really was, it could be G taking over her system, but the time for mutation was running short, so he doubted it.
"Would you like anything to eat?" Claire asked from the kitchen, rather sweetly might he add. He raised an eyebrow ever so slightly. Sure, she fetched him coffee and food all the time, but only when he requested it. She wasn't a rude girl, but she strictly did what she was asked. This sweet attitude could only mean one thing.
Wesker smirked and stood, striding over to the other side of the counter that separated the two. He placed both his hands on the counter as he smiled at his conniving little redhead. "My dear, i know quite well from experience that when a woman is overly accommodating, she wants something."
Claire laughed a little nervously from being caught out so easily. "Well.. i don't know about that."
"Oh?" Wesker asked with false interest. "So you don't want anything?" he purred as he leaned down on the counter, getting down to eye level and closer to a nervous Claire.
The redhead decided it was now or never as she set down the mug she'd prepared for Weskers coffee, and cleared her throat, more so to waste time than anything. "Can i go out tonight?" Huh, i guess you sound like a whiny teenager no matter how you say it!
Wesker scrunched up his face for a moment. He looked away from Claire as he heard the kettle whistle and decided to stand up and use his tall and bulky build to his advantage once again, as he always did. "Go out where? I believe the hotel has adequate facilities for a young woman; a spa, a swimming pool, a gym-"
"No no.." Claire interrupted, a lot more shake-y than she originally wanted. "No i mean like.. go out for a drink.."
Wesker smirked. "The hotel does have an open bar after 9 PM, Claire."
Claire's cheeks heated ever so slightly at the mention of her name, but she shook it off to continue. "Well I mean.. I was thinking of going out with the STARS? Have some girl time with Rebecca and Jill."
A soft chuckle wafted through the air. "Am i to take it that i'm not good enough company?"
"No of course not!" Claire quickly replied, so quickly that it had Wesker raise a blonde eyebrow in pure amusement. Clearing her throat once more, she brought her voice away from the panic to get out an answer, to a more calm tone. "No i mean.. you know, the girls just want me there, for fun."
Wesker inclined his head in thought and then gave Claire a rather lazy nod. "For fun." he echoed. "I suppose since aren't needed until 3 PM tomorrow, i can allow you to go out." he finally stated.
Claire sighed out of relief and shot Wesker a bright, and very relieved smile. "Thank you Wesker!"
Wesker's heart seemed like it stuttered for a minute as he went over what Claire had said, paired with that lovely smile of hers. The damn woman was more manipulative than she knew.
"I'd appreciate not being disturbed from my sleep extremely late, so would expecting you back here at 1 am be too much to ask?"
Wow 1 am? now theirs something a dad wouldn't be so lenient about! "That's perfectly acceptable." she stated as she heard the kettle whistle and poured Wesker his coffee. Graciously he took it and with the first sip, he couldn't help but smirk.
Claire smiled at what she thought was a genuine smile, but she had much to learn, in that if Wesker was smiling, the gears were going full blast in his head.
"And do you need a taxi back to the department?" Wesker asked as he swallowed a large gulp, extremely thankful for the caffeine jump he was now slowly receiving.
"Hm?" Claire asked a bit absentmindedly as she was snapped from whatever she was day dreaming about. "Oh! no i'm alright, a friends going to collect me."
A friend is it? "As you wish." Wesker then waved her off, seemingly uncaring as he made way for his arm chair to get back to the days headlines.
It only took Claire about 10 minutes to rip Wesker's attention away from the days global headlines as she swiftly dug through her back and pulled out item after item, the search seemingly endless and quite loud. She had left this 'friend' a quick message to get there as soon as possible, and now she was shoving make up, hair brushes, accessories, shoes and a dress into a second, small backpack, none too gently.
He lost interest fast, but the ruckus she was creating was a little irritating as he tried to listen to the news about some tidbit in Iraq over lord knew what. He was about to ask that she keep it down just a little when Claire abruptly stood from her bag and practically skipped into the seating area where Wesker sat.
"Okay, i better get going!" she gleefully announced as she adjusted the straps on her bag to a comfortable position.
Wesker nodded at her and finished his coffee. "Enjoy, but not too much, of course." he stated as he changed the channel, the news no longer holding interest for him. He was a little happy to note a war documentary on the TV guide for tonight when he felt arms go around his chest, squeezing, and then pulling back.
Claire Redfield had just quickly hugged him.
"Thank you for tonight Wesker, really." she mumbled a little awkwardly, with a lop sided grin adoring her face. "I promise not to take advantage of you being so nice, and i'll be back within the curfew."
Wesker was a lot slower to nod this time as he ran through what exactly had just happened. He had been hugged, And it had been.. surprisingly pleasant? ".. Of course, I'd expect nothing less."
Claire playfully rolled her eyes and turned her heel. "Always so proper." she giggled as she ran out the door.
When he heard the door shut behind her, he couldn't help but chuckle at how loose she had suddenly acted. Sure, her hug was a little awkward and strange, but it was her way of showing that this night clearly meant something to her, and she was glad to go out. What Wesker wanted to know was why did he feel so strange about it? It was as if his heart beat had spiked once she touched him..
How very curious.
Peering out the window from his seat, down to the courtyard, he narrowed his eyes in an attempt to see who he assumed would be Jill or Rebecca, but growled as he saw the brown hair of Leon S. Kennedy, the prankster.
"So dear heart likes pranksters does she?" Wesker mused as he picked up the phone. "Well.. not my first choice.. but i'm certain i can hit two birds with this one stone." he chuckled darkly as he began dialing a phone number, and as the more rings rang out, he was positively giddy at how well he knew this would work in his favor.
His dear heart was to be tested tonight, and this test would determine everything.
Nice long chapter for you guys! I have exams soon so fair warning, i can't be this nice all the time!
In fact, i have an art exam tomorrow. EEK! wish me luck! Oh and go ahead and review if you want, i really love reading reviews!
SherlocksDoctor: Thank you so much! I really love writing Wesker, i feel like his sly and coy personality can be interpreted so many ways, and that's what i plan to do!
Tenebrarum: Hehehehe nothing gets passed you! Who doesn't love a goofy Leon? Poor Wesker, ah! oh well!
