My Little Arrival
Ch.5: Intentions
As this occurred, Chrysless fumed. She had landed on a sidewalk; something called a Burger King in front of her. She frowned, rubbing her hooves. "Who knew Fluttershy could pack a punch?" she thought. She silently kicked off, heading to their base of operations.
Maybe things wouldn't be so bad for her. Tirek would be understanding. A human and Pegasus together? He would understand her arrogance. After all, she was a Queen! Leader he may be, in her mind, he was below her. He would never see his downfall coming.
That would come later. For now, he would want to know what happened. She had failed.
Touching on the ground, she gulped. Thank goodness those humans had a first-floor apartment. Taking a deep breath, she headed for the door. Hesitating for a moment, she went to answer it, only to see Sombra waiting.
Personally, she did not think much of her bisexual counterpart. He had been useful, using his dark magic for that portal...
"What happened?" Sombra asked. He had just showered and shaved his beard. Chrysless enjoyed a drone with a beard, but whatever. There was a more important topic at hand. Chrysless looked down, anger and embarrassment radiating on her face.
Sombra said nothing, moving aside so Chrysless could enter. Sombra then spoke quietly, informing Chrysless that Tirek was in his room, enjoying a human thing, a Television. Of course, this had been John's room. Had been is the keyword. He didn't mind the blanket and pillow and rough living room floor.
As Cozy came in, curious about who had arrived, Sombra walked to her, pulling her into their room. He had no tolerance for the storm Tirek would throw at Chrysless, nor Cozy hearing it. He gave no fucks that she was a teenager.
Glaring at John's room shortly, Sombra shut his bedroom door, Cozy safely inside. Chrysless was alone.
Tirek grinned, sitting up on his bed, muting the television as Chrysless came in, her attention directly focused on him. As it should be.
To Tirek, Chrysless held flaws. She was far too arrogant, rushing into things without planning it out. Tirek frowned then, seeing Chrysless was without the two prizes he wished to have.
"Chrysless?" he asked. "Where are my prizes?" Chrysless sighed.
"Fluttershy. Apparently, the human had bought her as a companion and well...I mocked her. She didn't take kindly to it."
Chrysless flinched as Tirek rose off the bed, the sound of his hooves embracing the floor being rough and heavy. He closed his eyes, trying to keep calm. She had failed. Let her arrogance cost her once more, as it had with... it didn't matter then. Those parasites were dead.
Chrysless watched, unblinking as Tirek calmly walked over to her. But she knew within Tirek, a thousand volcanoes were ready to burst. The message was clear. Tirek however, decided to say it.
"You had one job Chrysless" he growled. "Lead the human away, capture him, and bring him and those glasses to me! There is a time for demeaning. Get out of my sight" he said, staring her in her eyes, his eyes like iron. "If you fail me again, I'll kill you."
Without another word, Chrysless retreated, closing the door behind her. Tirek grinned, returning to his bed. He thought on it all. Their Savior who had taken them out of the stone. Their cleansing of Equestria. Their escape to Earth.
Tirek smiled. "I'll get you, human" he said softly. "I'll take what I want, then Chrysless or Sombra will want you, I'm sure. Not like it matters. Once this world is mine, they nor Cozy will be of any use" he chuckled darkly to himself.
Oh yes, he thought things were good. This was just a setback. He could just have those humans do it the next day. Capture me.
In his escape out of Equestria, he considered many's defeat as final. He had no idea how much some were willing to defend a race they knew not. Not just because it was right. But because it bored in their souls. It was their destiny.
I already knew one. And soon…
The other Eight would arrive.
