My Little Arrival

Ch.7: Introductions

I blinked for a second. Surely, I was going mad. Not only was a 20-foot tall Alicorn speaking to me, but she knew my great grandfathers name. I needed a freaking drink.

Nevertheless, I looked up and nodded at her. "Yes, I am."

She smiled, stepping back. "My name is Princess Celestia. We are from a planet called Equestria. Next to me is my sister, Princess Luna." Luna smiled, bowing humbly.

"Of course, you know Fluttershy already. The other five were ponies at one time but have been transformed into humans to be more acceptable to your society."

Luna nodded. "Indeed. The dragon you see is Twilight's brother, Spike."

I turned to the gargantuan dragon, waving, a bit afraid. To my surprise, Spike smiled, lowering his head to the ground. "Nice to meet you, David. Your planet is awesome."

I smiled, thanking him as Celestia moved on. "On him is Princess Twilight Sparkle" she said. "The Princess of Friendship. She too was an Alicorn."

"Pleased to meet you!" Twilight beamed.

"To her right is Pinkie Pie." I went to respond, but Pinkie was zooming around. Celestia shook her head as Luna rolled her eyes, clearly used to her antics.

"On her left are Rarity and Applejack" she said, referring to the southern girl with a cowboy hat and the pristinely dressed girl. They nodded at me with smiles, though Applejacks was more intense.

"And last, yet certainly not least, is Rainbow Dash. She got badly incapacitated in the day before we exited Equestria, and we had to put her brain in a robot Twilight had long been working on."

"Yup!" Rainbow smirked, holding her left hand up, which began to glow red. "You feel lucky, David?" she asked, her hand suddenly turning into a missile launcher!

I gulped, as Celestia gave her an unamused glare. Rainbow chuckled, replacing her hand. "Just kidding. I just wanted to show him. Also, David, you can ride in me anytime."

"A lot of guys would like to" Pinkie grinned. Rainbow growled but said nothing. The prank war would be on eventually.

I was alone not long after with Princess Celestia. The Mane 6, as they were dubbed, enjoyed the park's boardwalk. Luna wished to see the Mackinac Bridge and had flown off. Celestia sighed, having sat next to me.

"I have seen many things, David. Great dancing balls. Propositions with lyrics and poems. Evil goers beyond what you could ever imagine. Ten years ago, as Twilight prepared to take over for my sister and I, we were confronted with a great evil. A centaur, a King, a... Changling, and a young unicorn. It is my hope that what they did on Equestria will not take form here." She said, looking down.

"That day that they escaped, three days ago, they embraced the eternal. They embraced death" she said, filling me in further:

The day had been a success for Lord Tirek. Not only had him and his colleagues been freed from their stone prison by their Savior, but Sombra had been resurrected. For Tirek, this time was different. Their Savior had told them of the Star, a beacon that not only created life, but could alter worlds. Tirek smiled, bowing as their Savior disappeared, having transported them to a field away from the Canterlot Gardens.

This time however, there would be no imprisonments. He would do it, slowly, methodically. Yes, he would kill, as would Chrysless.

Over the next day, taking great pains to be hidden, Chrysless had injected Cadence and Shining Armor with a love poison that would kill them as they slumbered. Tirek had taken care of Blueblood with a well-timed throw. They had smirked, going from town to town, waging war against the rulers. Celestia, Luna, and that annoying young Alicorn would be last.

As the two departed Ponyville, a shout of "Hey!" was heard. Tirek turned in annoyance, seeing a mint-colored unicorn walking up in anger. Yes, Lyra was usually happy and would have loved to meet me, but she had just seen Mayor Mare's fate. She was pissed.

"Go down, fucker!" she roared, lighting her horn, and casting a spell. As she casted it, Tirek had moved quickly to her.

"No, enter the fire" he smirked, opening his mouth. Bon Bon would come across a sight an hour later, a charred sight.

However, there would be no more damage, as the Legion was transported to Earth. Tirek grew annoyed, Chrysless' portals spells not working, and neither Cozy's. Tirek sighed and shrugged.

"Very well. They will bury their dead. But they cannot stop us."

"I have seen so much loss" Celestia said quietly, wiping her tears. "I know you are a young student David, but your Great- Grandfather's glasses will lead us to the Star. We can destroy it before the Legion can use it. We need your help."

As I am writing this story, I think of that moment. Sure, I was a student. A debate student. An aspiring writer. But my biggest trait was my heart.

I stood. "Let's go. I'll help, no matter the cost."
