My Little Arrival
Ch.19: Years Long Anger
It was like watching a fight in the arena. Fans cheering and standing in awe. Perhaps that is a bit of an over exaggeration. After all, Chrysless was involved in her own fight with the Princesses she had loathed for so long. Flurry had headed inside to calm customers. And we were saving the fallen.
Discord had set Tirek down and stepped back, gesturing with his lions' paw for Tirek to bring it on. Tirek obliged, charging at the Draquonacris. He lowed his head, butting Discord. Discord fell back, knocking himself into a nearby car. The car did not respond as Discord glared at it.
Discord stood, cracking his neck, waiting for Tirek to come closer. However, Tirek had one advantage. Muscle. He did not become so big from meekly draining the magic of others, or from being a centaur. He trained and had enjoyed Equestria's gyms. He smirked. "Sad over her, huh? Gonna cry? I thought Draquonacri laugh at misery?"
Of course, this set Discord off, and he charged. Tirek smirked, stunning the surprised Discord with punches to the face. As Discord stumbled back, swirling around for a moment, Tirek took advantage to grab him in a choke. He could only grin, not caring what the Mane Six and I were up to. Discord would be a goner soon enough.
"Puny Discord" he taunted. "What do you have to live for now? You failed. Soon, this world will be my playground. I may not be able to make Equestria burn, but this world... why do you care what happens to it? Your lover is dead" he sneered.
Now, to a creature that loves his lover like Discord had, those words cut deep. Like razorblades by sheer accident on a neck. Some become withdrawn, drowning in those heavy sorrows. But there was one emotion Discord felt in that moment. Sheer, unbridled anger.
Discord grabbed Tirek hooves, and slowly pulled them off his neck. He smirked as Tirek stammered. No one had ever matched Tirek physically. How was Discord doing so? Well, one thing really. Love.
Tirek slammed to the ground, having been flung away by Discord. Tirek stumbled, attempting to get up, but fell. As much as he loathed the creature, Discord had bested him. Discord smirked, then snapped his claw, disappearing.
As Tirek looked around, he grinned. He had the glasses and was in the area where he needed to be.
He rose the glasses, Armageddon about to dawn…
