Adalind and Rosalee were stocking the shelves of the spice shop when a wesen woman burst in crying,"I need something to fix my hair." She removed the scarf around her head to reveal something that looked like a bird's nest. "I honestly don't know what I did wrong"

Rosalee and Adalind exchanged a look then without a word, gathered all of the ingredients needed to fix hair that had been obviously overdone with chemicals.

"Apply this thoroughly through your hair and then wrap it in a towel before you go to bed. Your hair should be much healthier in the morning." The fuchsbau instructed.

"And it might be wise to go to a salon the next time you want to change your hair color." the hexenbiest advised the wesen.

As she headed out, the wesen women passed by Nick, Hank, and Monroe.

"Did a wesen attack her hair?"

Adalind rolled her eyes at her husband's remark.

"That is the consequence of someone trying to save money but having no clue what they're doing. It takes a lot of time and a lot of money to be beautiful, taking shortcuts usually results in disaster."

"I never really understood the point of changing one's appearance." Nick said.

"Says the pretty boy." Monroe quipped.

"Some of us need to add a little something to stand out." Hank grinned at his partner. "Not all of us can just bat our eyelashes in order to get whatever we want."

"Changing one's appearance can also be a statement of independence." Rosalee said. "I dyed my hair blonde, when I was in my early twenties. It didn't really seem like my style, so I let it grow out."

"Obviously you're perfect just the way you are." Monroe expressed.

"I appreciate the compliment, but it was more about proving I was my own person and doing whatever I wanted. I thought changing my appearance would show my parents I was nothing like them."

"I made my hair a little darker and curled it to try to do the same thing." Adalind admitted. "I thought darker hair would make people take me more seriously. And show my mother I didn't need to be blonde to get what I wanted in life."

"You obviously went back to your natural blonde. What happened?" Nick asked.

"The "Legally Blonde" movies came out." Adalind rolled her eyes. "Suddenly people were understanding that blonde didn't mean brainless."

"Two of my ex wives were always changing their hair color." Hank said. "I can't count the number of times I entered the house and then had to walk back outside to check the number to make sure I had the right one. It's amazing how a woman can look completely different, just by changing her hair."

"They must have gotten tired of changing their hair and decided to change who they were married to." Nick shot, then laughed as he sidestepped a swat from his partner.

Something occurred to him, he sobered and said, "I wonder if one of our kids will ask if they can dye their hair?"

"If they have powers, they might change their har, or just about anything else they want with just a thought. And without asking."

Knowing that Hank was right, the parents all looked at one another wide eyed. Nick and Adalind's children could have powers. Diana already did. And the two families were around one another all of the time, so their children would be close.

It was highly likely that one of the triplets could ask one of the Burkhardt kids to change a feature on them.

"Besides not making anybody fly, I'm going to have to also tell Diana not to change anybody's appearance unless an adult says it's alright." Adalind sighed.

"At least if they do use magic to change something, they won't end up making a mess in the bathroom." Nick grinned.

Adalind gave him a pointed look. "The mess would be having to explain to their teachers why the blue hair dye won't wash out."

"Good point."

Monroe gave a heavy sigh and covered his face with his hand, mumbling, "I should have eaten the grimm when I had the chance. Now there's a chance his kids are going to give mine blue hair."
