"Yaten, wake up! We're almost there!" The small bundle emitted a unworldly groan as Haruka shook the sleeping form to get her to uncurl in her seat. "Buckle up for landing," she smiled as the girl tried to blow her silver bangs off her face. The petite girl yawned, stretching her short arms and legs easily in the space before taking a moment to smooth her hair into her low-tied ponytail.

"There. I'm perfectly ready. Are you happy now, Tenoh-Papa?" Yaten's small voice had more of a bite than usual, and the tall blonde sank back in her seat.

"What is that supposed to mean?" She asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I'm not the one who messed up the names, so now we get to be the star brothers and their distant brother. I think you did it on purpose, to get all the interview questions."

"Look, I already told you. Apparently, 'A Field of Stars', 'Starry Sky', and 'Airglow' were already taken. I thought Sky King was pretty good. However, the assignment was unclear: it had to have Star in the name. Your not upset with Taiki for taking a poetic license. Besides, I am adopted," she raised her eyebrow challengingly. Yaten sighed heavily, communicating that this was a waste of her time.

"Yaten, it's a story for background," Taiki hushed the bickering between the two. Haruka looked over at the brunette endearingly, as Taiki's logic often halted the verbal battles exploding into sparring sessions. "Our fans love that, it gives our music more soul which they can relate. The more fans we have, the more music plays-"

"-And the quicker we find our Princess. Yeah, I got it." Yaten waved her hand around lazily.

They developed the plan swiftly after their arrival from Kinmoku. Taiki had established identities after they arrived, quickly mastering their technology systems to create the necessary backgrounds. As Haruka thought about it, she realized that it was uncharacteristic of Taiki to let a detail like her name choice pass.

The idea of their identities being male was also Taiki's doing. Since they were singing about finding their Princess, cross-dressing made their identity a little less obvious. That added fuel to the band's fire, gaining an immense female fan base. At least that was Taiki's analysis of the situation, and no one else argued against it.

Unsure if Galaxia had followed them, Seiya had the idea to use their voices to find the Princess in hiding. Haruka was always captivated at the musical gifts of the planet of Kinmoku. Their language carrying a melodic tone to it, naturally allowing them to project their message via music, as well as allowing them to adapt to the instruments of this world.

Singing voices that enchanted even those who weren't the woman they sought. Naturally, they were quickly discovered for their talent. Their chosen their names, Seiya, Taiki, Yaten, and Haruka, those names echoing back to them as they sang for the missing Princess.

The four stepped off the chartered plane, leaving their bags for the valet as they entered the busy airport. They were dressed in their new male high school uniforms for their arrival, hoping it would draw slightly less attention. Returning from a music tour that played in many cities along the island they were on, relaxing sounded good to all of them. Yet they were ready to play a concert in the next day, determined to keep searching. They were confident they could sense her presence somewhere in this city. So, to stay undetected as well as having a reason to remain local, they decided to enroll in high school.

Haruka walked into the terminal, teal eyes scanning the hallways. She intended to spot the nearest exit, preferably not swarmed with fans, but her gaze turned to the side even after identifying the red exit sign. Her senses overloaded as the emotional cries of a young girl clearly saying goodbye to someone important to her engulfed the area. Her tears hardly contained as she released her hold on the raven haired man to board the plane.

"It's that sweet?" Yaten cooed from beside her. Haruka didn't have to look to know her nose was upturned at the display.

"What's that?" Seiya muttered, Haruka's gaze barely shifting in time as a bright light engulfed the terminal. She instantly heard Yaten's gasp as the sensitive felt another Star Seed lose its glow. This time, teal eyes wretched shut, the pain nearly overwhelming as she clutched her chest. She felt Taiki's hold scoop under her arms, catching her as her legs began to give way.

As quickly as the light and pain came, they disappeared. Haruka rapidly blinked as she regained footing, still feeling the pain's last tinges. She looked up at Taiki, ready to see if they suffered the same. Instead, Taiki's purple gaze was locked onto something else, her own eyes following. Then, without processing what happened, her attention fell to Seiya, standing over a young blonde girl who seemingly fainted on the floor.

"Seiya, what happened?" She asked as she stood next to the raven haired singer.

"We are already too late," Seiya muttered, her eyes never leaving the petite blonde. A different shout spun all four heads around, the mass of fans quickly heading this way.

"We need to go!" Yaten whined as she started marching towards the exit. Seiya kneeled, scooping the odango blonde into her arms.

"What are you doing?" Haruka sneered, a challenging eyebrow raised as Seiya carried the light bundle.

"We can't leave her there," Seiya smirked, running to catch up to the others.

"Just don't get any ideas," Haruka rolled her eyes as she sprinted ahead. Then, with the screams of the horde of young women coming closer, they climbed into the waiting car. Taiki and Yaten carefully watched as Seiya positioned the girl in the seat before Haruka closed the door behind them.

"Whaah-?" The petite blonde mumbled as her eyes flickered open. She was slow to move, her bright blue eyes scanning the members of the car as a hand slowly raised, carefully rubbing one of the odango buns.

"We'll be in Juban in a few minutes," Seiya smiled as she spoke softly to the young girl.

"I have to go!" She called as she sat up quickly. "You can let me out here!" She yelled as the driver stopped on the curve.

"Hey, we brought you all this way-"Haruka called as she reached for the retreating blonde's hand. Time seemingly stopped as she tightly clasped the hand, teal eyes opening wide as the young girl did the same. Their eyes met, a shock moving through her system, stunning her senses to do anything but gaze into those baby blue eyes. Haruka saw so much emotion in those orbs, and just as she was starting to read them, she blinked in surprise, the small hand jerked from hers. She watched senseless in her movements as the nameless girl turned, her feet quickly carrying her away from the car.

"Geez, she didn't even thank us," Yaten snorted as she closed the door, finally snapping Haruka from her stupor. "Are you alright?" The silver haired girl gave her a once-over as Haruka settled back into her seat.

"I'm fine," she groaned as she smoothed out her uniform. "There was just something different about her."

"I think our Haruka is in love!" Seiya wickedly smiled as she roused the blonde's long hair. Haruka shoved her hard in the shoulder, effectively pushing the singer out of reach as she ran her fingers through her long ponytail.

"Most definitely am not," she growled, settling with her arms over her chest. Seiya remained silent, a wolffish smile growing on her lips as she looked one more time in the direction that the young odango girl ran.

"Can someone tell me why we need to play a joint concert again?" Yaten grumbled as she carefully plucked a grape from the welcome basket delivered backstage. "We don't need the publicity, and are we sure they're not going to ruin our message?" She griped as she chewed on the bite-size fruit.

"The recording company asked us to do it. So we had no reason to refuse," Taiki shrugged without looking up from the book in her hands.

"I think messing up our secret message to our Princess is reason enough," Yaten huffed before popping a few more grapes in her mouth.

"Yeah, that would go over real well. But, while you're at it, why don't you tell them we're all girls? Better yet, aliens!" Seiya teased, her fingers tickling the ends of Yaten's sleeves, the petite girl grunting before folding her arms under her to stop the teasing.

"Seiya quit teasing her!" Haruka tapped the raven haired singer on the back of the head. Navy blue eyes narrowed dangerously at the taller woman as Seiya rubbed the spot she hit. "Besides, if you can't manage to sing under these conditions, maybe we need a new lead singer?" Seiya turned red at the accusation, her fist tightly closing as she rose to her feet. Haruka smiled at the reaction.

"Seiya, that's just Haruka's untactful way of encouraging you to do your best," Taiki sighed as she closed her book, rising to her feet with the rest. "Shall we?" She smiled as she turned to the door.

"Now that the star talent is fired up? Let's go!" Haruka hooted as she rubbed Seiya's shoulders. "Who are we playing with again?"

"Michiru Kaioh," Taiki winked. "An up and coming violinist."

"Michiru-mama! It's time to go to our seats!" The young, dark haired girl excitedly called as she stood by the dressing room door. "I'll be cheering for you from the front! I hope you can hear me!" She squealed uncontrollably as she turned and followed her other green haired mother from the room. The teal haired woman giggled at her daughter's infectious excitement, imagining her in the front row with the rest of their excited friends. Although the other girls loved her music, she knew they were crazy for the boy band she was performing with tonight.

"The Four Lights," she murmured as she looked at the concert poster on the wall. Her sapphire eyes trailed from the smug faces on the promotion to the aqua mirror sitting in her lap. "What does my mirror want me to know about you?" Gazing into the reflection, a glimpse of the four smiling faces flashed for a moment before her face greeted her.

She requested the joint concert when she first started getting glimpses in the mirror as a way to get closer to them. Her talisman wanted her to know something about them, and hopefully, she'll find out tonight.

"It's five minutes to curtain, Ms. Kaioh," a random head popped into her door, and Michiru nodded as she stood. Then, safely taking her beloved violin, Marine Cathedral, into her grasp, she started for the stage. The question mulled her mind repeatedly as the crowd's cheers grew louder.

"Hey!" She called as something stopped her feet from their next step, her grip loosening on her instrument just enough for it to release from her fingers. A deep gasp left the usually reserved woman as she reached desperately for the beautifully carved wood that was an extension of herself. Just as she felt her body instinctively dive for it, a strong arm wrapped around her waist, stopping her reach. A second hand closed the distance, gently cradling the violin's body as they stopped both from falling to the ground.

"You should be more careful," a husky tenor voice whispered only for her to hear. "An instrument is an extension of a musician's soul and should be cared for as such." She turned to see a smiling blonde steadying her on the ground before handing Marine Cathedral back to her. The tall blonde winked as she ran her hand confidently through her bangs, dragging it through her long ponytail before flicking it off her shoulder. "I'll see you out there. I would say break a leg, but I'm afraid you'll take it too literally," flashing a devilish smile before continuing to the stage.

Michiru stared at the empty spot for a few more minutes before she looked around, wondering what she could have tripped on but finding nothing. Then, nodding her head to dismiss the curious incident until later, she straightened tall before walking out onto the stage.

The screams continued as she stepped off the stage, her costars a few steps behind her. Cheers for encores bellowed through the whole building but she locked her eyes on the superstars. Particularly the tall blonde. She couldn't shake the strange feeling from their earlier encounter, and watching them play was an entirely new experience. Michiru's music would engulf her when she played, taking her to her own beautiful, lonely world. That was no secret. Instead, she found herself lost in their world on stage with the Four Lights, their message clear. They were searching for hope, love, and the meaning of life. That last one she wasn't completely sure about.

"It's open!" She called when a knock sounded at her dressing room door, looking at the opening from her mirror. The stunning look left her face a second after she saw the raven haired lead singer standing there.

"Congratulations!" Seiya called across the room as she stepped into the room, closing the door behind her.

"Congratulations to you and your brothers as well. You were incredible!" Michiru giggled as Seiya stood behind her. "I should go offer them my appreciation as well," she smiled behind her hand.

"It's not necessary. I'm the only one who is a big fan of yours," Seiya whispered as if it was a secret in the empty room. Michiru pouted for a moment that Seiya would be the only one to visit but decided she would not waste this opportunity to learn more about these newcomers.

"Well, best not to tell anyone," she cooed as she met the singer's eyes in the mirror. Seiya's face took a side smile as if they guessed her meaning. "I don't know what your fans would do to me if they found out." Then, again, she smiled, raising a hand to the increased cheers for an encore that could be heard even in the dressing room to emphasize her fears.

"Well, It can be our secret then," Seiya smirked, pleased she was able to get the mysterious violinist alone. There was something different about her, but she sensed something in her music on stage. Something not quite the same as those they played with on this planet. She wanted to find out just what that special thing could be.

"Perhaps we can arrange a more... personal... conversation, then?" Michiru stood, facing Seiya straight on.

"Personal… would be nice," Seiya winked, the singer's face slightly more sultry. "If you'll excuse me, I do not think we'll be able to leave without the encore," bowing to the violinist before making her way back to the stage.

Michiru pondered the strange singer. In close vicinity, she felt the inexplicable sensation even stronger. She'll be able to get to the bottom of it soon enough. When she saw him standing in the doorway, there was a pang of disappointment. She envisioned the blonde visiting her in the dressing room after her performance. It felt so - habitual. They were all talented, but the blonde played with a different passion than the others. Their search for something was a little more personal.

"Michiru-mama! That was fantastic!" Hotaru's excited squeals jerked her out of her musings, smiling as she hugged her daughter. "Where did the guys go?" The raven haired girl questioned as her curious purple eyes scanned backstage, her short black hair flowing around her face as she looked.. Michiru looked around as well, finding the area empty.

"I guess they went for an encore," she shrugged as the excited cries increased from the crowd.

"We've got trouble out here!" Minako's voice echoed on their communicators. "I think a new enemy has appeared!"

"I guess we should help out," Hotaru smiled up at Michiru before they transformed, rushing back towards the stage.

Neptune and Saturn arrived on stage right, the inner Senshi already engaged with a woman of tiny stature. As they looked closer, the enemy dressed as if she was a mouse for Halloween, her shrill voice matching her mousy appearance.

"Give me your Star Seeds!" She demanded of the Senshi surrounding her, quickly jumping aside to avoid the strikes from the Inner Senshi.

"Should we help them?" Pluto smiled beside her, nodding as she raised her hand to the sky.

"Submarine Violin Tide!"

"Chronos Typhoon!"

The blue and crimson power swirls combined as they landed in front of the mousey woman. Instead of dodging those attacks, she raised her fist, golden color bangles absorbing all the energy thrown at her.

"I've been waiting for you," the mousey woman smiled, her bracelet glowing as it charged with the colored energy.

"Galactica Crunch!"

The tiny enemy called as she aimed her glowing weapon at Pluto and Neptune.

"Star Sensitive Inferno!"

The Senshi turned as the blast of green light flew across the stage, hitting the mousey woman square, her form quickly disintegrating. All eight pairs of eyes turned to look at the source, four figures cloaked in black

"Who's there?" Pluto called out, her eyes narrowing dangerously as she strained for a better view of the quartet. As she scanned the shadows, she could make out tall dark boots that glistened in the light that reached their hiding place. She could also see the wind effortlessly blowing through long hair as she raised her Garnet Orb. She decided she would find out if they were another enemy before they had a chance. As the crimson light grew, the four effortlessly jumped up and away. The Senshi on the stage exchanged puzzling looks before Venus voiced what they all were thinking.

"Who were all those people?"

(A/N) I know, how could Haruka be that close to Usagi and not realize it was her princess? I borrowed their semi-handshake from Sera Myu's Un Voyage Nuevo. I really enjoyed the play on their names and making it seem like Haruka fits into their group without the name Kou (no matter what I did, it didn't sound right to change it). This was the only chapter that I think would follow the manga this closely. It will be more focused mostly from the Starlights and the Outer's perspective, and of course the others will be there as they normally will be.
