My Little Arrival

Ch.23: Endgame

Tears fell from her eyes as she stared down at Blueblood's body. The day had been terrible. Waking up to the news that her brother and sister-in-law were no more, Twilight could only stare. Glancing outside at the Garden, she gasped in shock, the statue of the Legion that had been placed there ten years prior was gone!

She sighed, her friends on their way. They had talked to their families and said their goodbyes. For Twilight, Princess Twilight, she had seen Equestria for ten years grow, and she had ruled it with a smile and leading hoof. This time, she had to let it all fade away.

To lock the Legion out, to prevent more heartbreak, there was no other way. She, and her friends, would give their lives. She knew her counterparts in Pandestria would do well on Earth. Luna was now getting Spike ready for Earth. In minutes, times hands would come. Three days later, Celestia and Luna would end their lives as heroes…

The Star was now out of the ground. Tirek stared at the blue shape, twirling it in his hooves. He turned to Chrysless and grinned evilly, raising it in the air. Then came his gasp. The star had stopped moving. Luna and Celestia approached, their magic focusing. For them, it was the most painful yet most important thing the two had ever done.

The two lowered to the ground. Our group slowly made its way over. Spike could only nod. "I'll miss you guys" he said to himself. We stopped, covering our eyes as a flash of light radiated.

Tirek sat down quietly, the Star now over by Discord. He could only nod in respect. "I fought that battle, but you all won" he conceded. In the meanwhile, Chrysless growled. Sombra and Cozy were now on the ground, Cozy on Sombras back. She could only be mad, hatred her final emotion as her and Tirek turned to dust. In the end, she could never forgive Celestia and Luna.

Celestia and Luna smiled, lowering to the ground. Their hearts were content, and we witnessed Sombra and Cozy poof away. We would not see them again for many months, but I knew I liked them. They were welcome in my presence.

Discord walked over to the two Princesses with Spike. Flurry had flown on out, the parking lot permitted to be boisterous with activity again. Luna smiled softly at her. "Make your parents proud, Flurry" she said, looking at Discord. "You always used to annoy me. But I see now that we all have our own uniqueness. Take care of this land Discord."

Discord wiped away a tear. "As will Starlight Glimmer in Equestria. Say... say hi to Fluttershy for me."

Luna nodded as Spike hugged Celestia, the big and strong dragon a weeping boy now. Celestia wrapped her wings around him, permitting him to weep. Spike then stepped back, allowing a small smile. Everyone was giving the angels their space.

With that, Celestia and Luna, the Princesses of the Sun and Moon, the two sisters that had guided and shaped Equestria, were now in the Eternal.

They were gone but would never be forgotten. The legacies of those that sacrifice never should be. We all have a responsibility to help each other, to work together. To love one another.

Even in the November Rain.

A/N: So, there we go! In a few weeks, I will be back with Part 2. Do not worry, it will not be as much of a tearjerker- think more high school slice of life. Until next time!
