It was a beautiful day in the city of Bugdom. The circus bugs had done their performances and did end up getting promoted by their boss P.T. Flea because they did the finale perfectly. They also got the time off to do their own stuff.

In the clowns' home, Francis, Heimlich, Slim, and their new partner Molt, were getting ready to see the game at Bennett's Bar restaurant.

There was a knock at the door. The four turned.

"Who is that?" Francis asks.

"Let me have it," Slim said and opened the door.

There stood Manny with the small jewelry box in his hand.

"Oh, hi, Manny!" Slim said kindly.

"Hello, my dears! I must tell you something," Manny replied with a smile.

"Ooh! What is it? Are we gonna go to Ant Island to see Flik, Atta, and Dot to show my wings?" Heimlich excitedly replies.

Francis facepalmed himself at that comment. Molt shrugged, but kept his eyes at Manny.

"This is the ring I'm gonna give to Gypsy today," Manny says as he opened a jewelry box that had a ring in it.

"Ooh!" the clowns and Molt said in unison.

"Wow, who ever knew that is one nice ring?" Francis questions with a smile at the ring.

"So, what's the cost?" Slim asks.

"Well, it's no more than $3,000," Manny answers as he blushes.

"$3,000?!" the clowns and Molt asked in confusion.

"I know, but that's how jewelry costs," the mantis said sadly.

"Hey, guys!" a voice said.

Manny, Francis, Heimlich, Slim, and Molt turned; there stood Flik and Princess Dot, who was 10 years old.

"Hello, Flik, my boy, and Dot, my dear!" Manny said proudly and hugged Flik and Dot.

"What are you holding?" Dot asked.

"Oh, Dot, my dear, this is the ring for Gypsy," Manny said.

"Ooh!" Flik and Dot say in unison.

"Hey, where is Atta?" Francis asked curiously.

Slim, Heimlich, and Molt were wondering the same thing.

"Atta's very ill," Flik replied sadly.

"But the ants are taking care of my sister, and she wants us to come back tonight, though," Dot chimed in.

The circus bugs understood.

"Me and my friends are going to watch games at Bennett's Bar," Slim said.

"Cool! May I tag along?" Flik asked.

"Of course!" Molt replied with a smile.

"No worries, Flik, my boy, I'll keep tabs on Dot with Gypsy," Manny said with his hand rubbing Dot's head.

"Thank you so much, Manny," Flik says with kindness, and turned to Dot,

"Take care, little seed. We'll be back by tonight and to meet Atta back in Ant Island!"

"Okay, Flik, bye!" Dot replies back.

Flik left with Molt and the clowns; Manny took Dot with him back to his house for a hangout with Gypsy.

Manny placed the ring box in their mailbox in case Gypsy comes back from shopping after the events she had planned after work at the circus.

On the other hand, Rosie, with anger, has a letter in her hand because Tuck and Roll have been horsing around her and Dim the most. She was about to place it in Manny and Gypsy's mailbox, but noticed a ring box. She took it out, placed the letter in their mailbox and walked back to her house. Dot was told by Manny to check the mailbox and see if the ring box is in here, but when she opened it, the ring box is missing!

"Oh my god! The ring box!" Dot panicked and ran back in the house, trying to keep herself from letting Manny get mad at her about this. When the door opened, there was Gypsy with her shopping bag.

"I'm home, Manny dear!"

"Oh, Gypsy!" Manny cried out and wrapped his embrace around Gypsy.

"Hello, darling," Gypsy says to Dot while recognizing her.

"Oh, hi, Gypsy!"

Manny turned to Gypsy and said,

"Excuse me for a second."

Manny whispered into Dot's antennas,

"Dot, my dear, I know this might be a small mistake but I think it must be either Tuck and Roll or some ingrates who did it. Just look for it and let me know, okay?"

Dot sighed in relief and nodded. She walked out of the house as Manny planned Gypsy to relax near the candles in their chamber. Gypsy nodded as she followed him there.

Meanwhile…

Rosie came with a ring box and slightly opened it. It was a ring Manny had bought for Gypsy— this was her old ring sent out by her twelfth husband! She burst into tears, but kept it together. Her shy partner Dim walks by and examines the ring.

"What's that, mom?"

"Oh, Dim, honey, it's a ring given by my twelfth husband," Rosie says with a smile.

"Wow! Dim wish to have a love interest," Dim replies with a characteristic chuckle.

"Really? Maybe if any of the female bugs are related to you, maybe you can get her a ring someday," the black widow spider added with a smooth kiss on the rhinoceros beetle's freckled horn.

Dim blushes, but chuckles once again. When he and Rosie realized that the day was very late, they turned off the lights and headed straight to their room for bed.

With a small yawn, Rosie tires out, but not until she starts to sing a lullaby while saying,

"Goodnight, Dim."

Dim yawned deeply like a lion as he replied,

"Goodnight, mom."

Once Dim lays down, he falls asleep. As Rosie kisses Dim on his freckled horn passionately, she falls back to sleep as well.

Dot spotted Tuck and Roll's home, and when she knocked onto their door, the pill bugs quickly unlocked it and curled up into balls, as if they were gonna get busted the most by Dim and Rosie. Dot checked everywhere in the pill bugs' rooms, but there was no sign of the ring box. When Dot walked out and shut the door, Tuck and Roll popped open, sighed in reliefs, and continued being knuckleheads to each other.

She sighed, but decided to check on Dim and Rosie if they have the ring box, but doesn't want to offend them about this. When Dot was about to knock on the door, it suddenly creaked open.

"How come would Dim and Rosie not lock their door for the night?" Dot asked to herself.

Once Dot checked in the living room, the ring box was not in any of the drawers of the nightstands. She knew that it can't be in the bathroom, so Dot checked for the ring box in the kitchen cabinets or drawers; she closed each doors one by one, as if it wasn't their.

Back in the bedroom, Dim and Rosie were sound asleep in their bed for the night; but when a slamming sound was heard, Dim snorted and woke up with small fear.

"Mom. Mom, wake up!" he hissed while nudging Rosie.

Rosie moaned tiredly as she asked in her sleep,

"What is it…?"

"Did you hear that? Dim hear a noise from the living room or the kitchen!" Dim whispered,

"Could you check? Dim feel almost scared."

"Okay," Rosie replied groggily and walked out of bed.

Dot was slamming the doors, as if she didn't realize anyone was there. But when Dot turns, she gasps at the sight of Rosie who appears to be sleepwalking.

"Who is there?" Rosie groaned in her sleep while standing.

"Uh, it's the tooth fairy!" answers Dot, but realized that the ring is in Rosie's finger,

"The ring!"

"Okay, I'm going back to bed now, tooth fairy. Just take the tooth from out of my pillow," moans Rosie as she walks back in her room.

Dot tiptoed as they heard Dim and Rosie's quiet talking, and, for more moments, Dim's soft and deep snoring and Rosie's groggy moans— they had fallen back to sleep. She walked slowly into Dim and Rosie's bedroom and tiptoed to their bed.

"Okay, she won't notice a ring for Manny to give to Gypsy," Dot whispered.

When she holds Rosie's hand, Dot slowly tries to get the ring out without the two sleeping bugs noticing.

Feeling the touch, Rosie moaned groggily and mumbled out,

"Get off me, bees… stupid bed bees— mmm…"

From behind, Dim remains motionless in the bed, asleep with his foot smoothing and even massaging Rosie's abdomen and body, but did stir a little bit. Dot sighed, as if the ring might be tight on Rosie's finger.

"Oh, gosh, it won't come out!" Dot sighed quietly, and took out the magnet, as if it attracts metal.

Once she walked to their bed, Dot can still hear Dim's lion-like snoring and even Rosie's even more groggy moaning. She placed a magnet on Rosie's finger in a flash, but it still won't come out.

"Mmm, I don't feel something cutting my fingers off, and the next day I got a few hours, to go back to work…"

"Oh, sweet berries!" Dot groaned with annoyance but quietly.

Every time she used other materials to get the ring out, they were all no use. The ant princess felt annoyed and hissed,

"Oh, I've got no time for this!"

Dot then tried to pull the ring out of Rosie's finger, but it was motioned like a handshake.

"Mmm, hi, Flik, honey, it's so good to see you," mumbled Rosie while talking in her sleep.

Dot suddenly pulled Rosie's hand, causing Rosie to motionlessly slip off the bed, but Dim remained sleeping soundly in the bed.

"Oh, that ring STILL won't COME OUT?!" yells Dot,

"FORGET THIS NONSENSE!"

Dot stomped off, leaving Rosie asleep on the ground, with the ring stuck on her finger.

In the city, Dot spotted a gumball machine near the entrance of Bennett's Bar restaurant. She headed their, turned the switch, and gently took out a charm from the hole. Dot peeked, and there was a shiny ring inside!

"Jackpot!" she said with a smile, and huddled to Manny and Gypsy's house.

In the night…

Manny and Gypsy remain near the candles while gazing at their own eyes.

"So, Manny, what do you feel like doing now? This scenery is amazing," asked Gypsy with a statement.

"Well, uh—" Manny tries to answer, but Dot comes by from behind.

"I got the ring!" she whispered.

"Is it in here?" Manny asked.

"Yes," answered Dot.

"Well? Open it, let me see!" whispered Manny.

"No, you have to propose!" explained Dot in a less frantic tone.

"Oh, yeah, so I thought that maybe it's time to— uh, you know, take a relationship to the next level," said Manny while turning to Gypsy and slowly opening the ring box, but it suddenly slipped the gumball machine covers out, revealing a shiny, glittery golden ring!

With a small gasp, Gypsy cried out with admiration,

"Manny!"

"You found it from the gumball machine, Dot?!" Manny asked with annoyance at Dot, who chuckled embarrassingly.

"Yes, Manny, I will marry you!" cries Gypsy as she kisses Manny everywhere on the face.

"Well, gotta watch some TV now," says Dot with a smile as she heads to the living room.

"Wait, did you just say—" stammers Manny, but Gypsy excitedly says,

"Yes!"

Manny examined the ring as Gypsy continued on,

"Manny, it's beautiful!"

"Yeah, yeah! Here, I'll put it on for you," Manny chuckled as he took the ring and placed it on Gypsy's finger.

In the living room, Dot, Manny, and Gypsy who was admiring her ring, were watching TV.

"Manny, I like my ring, it's shining like a star. Where did you get it?" Gypsy asks Manny with a smile.

"From Bennett's Bar," answers Dot.

"No, from the most exotic jewelry store ever," cuts off Manny,

"Oh, I'm glad I got engaged!"

"Dot!" Flik's voice can be heard as he, the clowns, and Molt opened the door.

"Oh, Flik!" Dot says with a blushing smile.

"It's time to go home. Atta is waiting," Flik replies.

Dot walked over to Flik and held his hand. Flik turned to Manny and Gypsy while holding Dot close and rubbing her head.

"Thank you so much for watching my sister-in-law," he said.

Manny and Gypsy blushed, but chuckled, as if they say 'you're welcome' to Flik. The clowns and Molt chuckled at the same time.

Midnight passed as Flik and Dot were going back to Ant Island to check on Atta, who is now better thanks to the help of her assistants; the circus bugs were back in their own rooms, asleep.

Rosie moaned while already sleepily awake, but she was walking back to bed and had laid down. Dim sleepily blinked his eyes, but saw Rosie already going back to bed.

"Mom! Where'd you go?" he asked in confusion.

"I don't know, honey. Maybe I woke up in the middle of the path somewhere," answers Rosie.

"Oh, Dim didn't know until now! Gotta really stop sleepwalking," Dim murmured as he tired out.

"Whatever," Rosie murmured as well.

Then, the two fell back to sleep in their bed. The circus bugs were asleep as the city of Bugdom became quiet with the stars twinkling beside the moon in the sky.
