The next day Liza had to face the music with Diana, but it went well. She was surprisingly understanding and didn't even fire her from maid of honor duties at her wedding. Pleasantly surprised, Liza walked back to her office, trying to ignore the negative comments she heard being whispered by interns.

As the day went on, Liza realized this wasn't going to blow over quickly. They lost several sponsors and some upcoming book deals. One of their key distributors wanted to pull their books from their fashion boutiques.

Angry from being potentially locked out again, Liza told Shelly that she should have told her truth about her age, but no one tells the truth these days. She would go elsewhere if Shelly's brand didn't want them.

That evening Liza was in need of an escape. Nothing was working out. Charles suggested they take the girls to a cupcake shop after work and school were over. It was the perfect antidote for her rotten mood. "Thank you for knowing what I needed," Liza said, as they walked into the shop as a family. The girls were already at the counter picking out what they wanted.

Bianca and Nicole shared how their days went at school and a card game using cupcake toppings and candy broke out.

"We have a bake sale next month at school. Do you want to come?" Bianca asked.

"I would love to. But is that okay with your mom?" Liza asked, looking at Charles for any indication whether this was okay to ask about or not.

"Yes! I asked mom today if I can put you as an extra guest, she said to invite you and dad. It will be so fun! We're making Rice Krispy treats."

Charles and Liza exchanged looks again. In their unspoken thoughts they knew Pauline had decided to take the high road with the girls. Charles sighed in relief. Their heated card game continued.

They continued to play until the winner was crowned. Nicole cheered, celebrating her win.

Liza got a call from Shelly as Charles asked the girls to go pick out cupcakes for breakfast.

It wasn't so bad, after all. Liza was relieved that they had decided to let her do a one time modeling event for the brand. They changed their minds and decided to unfreeze their partnership with Millennial after thinking it over. Liza's speech had influenced their feelings. After telling Charles what was decided, she felt a weight lifted off of her shoulders.

"Let's go home," Nicole announced, linking arms with Liza.

"Yeah, stay overnight tonight!" Bianca exclaimed, copying Nicole's arm linking on Liza's other side.

"I'll come over for a while but I might go home after you girls go to bed. I have a busy day tomorrow," Liza told them.

After reading the girls a chapter from their books, Liza let Charles know she needed to go home. She had to get ready for the big day. She had never done any modeling or ever thought of herself in that way, and she was nervous.

"I wish you would stay, but I understand that you need to go home. I miss you already," Charles said, pulling her closer.

"I will miss you too. But I'll see you at the photoshoot. Goodnight." When her car arrived she gave him a kiss and a long embrace. She didn't want to leave yet, but didn't want to give Pauline any more ammunition if she spent the night there too often. This way, the girls were likely to tell Pauline that she went home that night.

The ad campaign had left her feeling ridiculous. Although it was fun to wear some of these clothes, others looked like a middle schooler's wardrobe. Liza wondered if any self respecting college student would even find this appropriate. She and Charles joked about it as they wrapped up one of the several locations for this photo shoot. Charles had brought her flowers earlier that morning, but had to get going shortly after their morning wrap.

Back in her trailer, Liza got ready for the next location. She put on the denim outfit, and then the makeup and hair team worked their magic. She looked around, startled by hearing the door open. What was Quinn doing in her dressing room? Then she remembered a few days ago, Charles mentioning that Quinn had a potential idea to help them. At that time she didn't know if that was a good idea, as Liza still harbored some bad feelings toward Quinn. Now her options were open to at least hearing her out.

After some small talk, and her usual teasing, Quinn got to the point.

Quinn had arranged an interview with a local television station. They were doing a series on corporate discrimination. Although they didn't know who Liza was, Quinn had pulled some strings to get them an interview together.

When Quinn finished her sales pitch, Liza responded, agreeing to the interview. It would boost Quinn's image too.

Quinn pretended to check with the board members. Liza realized that she probably didn't check with anyone. Quinn was like that, she would rather ask for forgiveness than permission. She didn't ask anyone what to do, she just did it.

After arranging the interview details, Quinn left. There was only one more setting left to shoot these photos. Liza was glad it was almost over. She realized she was not cut out to be a model.
