For Dwayne Johnson, he needed this break. He'd finished Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, filmed WrestleManiaXXVIII, and also a television series called Clash Time. His children would be with their mother while he rested in his favorite place of Oahu. It was where he grew up and it felt the most like home. He was on his last week of the month long trip and he had NOT expected her to show up. He'd bought out the pool and lounge area to soak in the rays of the sun, which would be setting soon. Dwayne had been looking off to the side when a flash caught his eye.

His dark brown eyes followed the light and he realized it was the sun's own light shining off of her sunglasses. From there, they traced the path down her entire body and for a moment, The Rock himself was stunned. Her skin was kissed by the sun and the color was forced to stand out next to her white one piece suit. The suit itself was a scandal; it accented her chest and from just underneath her chest, the suit began to lattice itself in two strips down to land on her hips. It was the perfect suit to accent her curves and though she was in shape, her body had a softness to it and he felt he was drawn to the slight bulge of her belly. The dark brown and mahogany in her hair shown in the suns light. She seemed so confident walking into the lounge area until she realized that she was the only other person there.

Her perfect pink lips formed an 'O' as her jaw dropped, a shaky hand reaching up to remove her sunglasses. "Ohmigosh...um...I didn't realize you were here by yourself...or t-that you were h-here at all. Ummmm...I sh-should go! I'm sorry to disturb you!"

Dwayne couldn't help the smile that split his face. "No, that's alright. I should have realized other people would want to use the lounge and pool. Please, go about your business." The woman looked unsure of herself for a moment but nodded slowly and turned to the other pool that was clear on the other side of the lounge area. Dwayne appreciated her wanting to give him the space he wanted and it caused his smile to widen slightly. He tried to focus on the relaxing he was doing before but he couldn't stop glancing at her. He'd caught her looking at him a few times as well and smiled softly, looking towards the setting sun.

Samantha Reynolds could NOT believe that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was in the pool next to her. She pinched herself to see if she was dreaming but it seemed she was not. She was beginning her second week of her 2 week vacation, although she almost didn't stay. She'd come with her roommate, both of them needing a break from their dull lives. However, her friend had gone home sick and Samantha had been talked into staying on for the rest of the trip. Seeing the muscular man from the corner of her eye, she was certainly glad that she'd decided to stay.

Taking a deep breath, Samantha settled on the lounge, trying to get the famous man out of her head. Fat lot of good that did her. He was no less than 50 feet away from her! Every cell in her body right now was telling her to gather her things and leave before she did the stupid thing and tried to speak to him. Of course she knew who he was! She'd watched wrestling with her father when she was younger and always had a crush on him. With him being at the same resort, on the same island and so close, Samantha had to take a deep breath and stop looking at him.

He had always been a handsome man but time had done him a lot of favors. Seeing the hard planes of his muscles in the lingering sunlight was enough to make her sweat. Feeling overheated, she removed her sunglasses, her green eyes roaming his figure before she stood, making her way towards the pool on her side of the lounge area, thankfully a different pool than he was in now. She couldn't stop the flush that filled her cheeks as she felt his eyes on her.

Swallowing, she stepped into the lukewarm water and down the steps, taking a deep breath before fully submerging herself in the water. After a few moments, she surfaced, wiping the water from her face. She still felt his eyes on her and it took everything inside of her to not return his gaze. Making her way to the wall of the endless pool, she watched the sun going down over the horizon. The breeze was nice against her heated skin and she closed her eyes, sighing in relaxation.

Feeling his eyes on her again, she bit her lower lip and knew that she had to cut herself short. Going under once more, she surfaced and exited the pool, grabbing her towel and wrapping it around herself before grabbing her glasses and making her way to the entryway, forgetting her room key in her flustered state. Swallowing, she turned her eyes to him, smiling nervously. "Th-thanks for letting me stay." Before she could say anything else, her nerves overtook her and she rush off, his eyes following her.

Watching her leave, Dwayne had to swallow as his eyes took in her back. Closing his eyes before they could roam too far south, her turned to where she'd been, his eyes catching a glint in the sunlight. Frowning, he moved to the stairs, exiting the pool and making his way to where she'd sat. There, sitting where her towel had been, was her room card. His eyes widened and he looked to the door before making up his mind. He would return it of course.

Wrapping his towel around his waist to keep his shorts from dripping, he made his way into the hotel after her. She wasn't in the elevator waiting area so he figured she'd gone up. Looking down at the card in his hand, he saw the number 405 and pushed the button for the elevator. Soon, he was on the fourth floor and there she was, waiting for the same elevator he was on. Her eyes widened and she backed up, hitting the wall with a blush of her cheeks.

Smiling softly he stepped into the hallway, the doors closing after him. "You...uh...you left this downstairs." His eyes took in her damp and curling hair as he watched her stare at his hand.

There it was, right in his hand, but Samantha couldn't wrap her brain around it. Why would he help her, as famous as he was? She was nothing to him but she supposed all of the rumors about him being a nice guy were true. Smiling shyly, she reached out and took the card from him, her eyes tracing his sculpted chest before meeting his eyes. "Th-thank you for bringing this back. It would have been a pain to retrace my steps."

They stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do or say. Finally, Samantha cleared her throat and began down the hallway to her room. Dwayne didn't want to say goodbye for some reason and moved a step closer to her. "Wait! Uh..."

She froze and turned to him, her eyes wide. "Y-yes?"

Dwayne swallowed and stepped back a step, rubbing the back of his neck. "No, never mind. Enjoy the rest of your night." His face flushed as he turned to the elevator and pushed the button, stepping in and disappearing. Samantha blinked for a moment, confusion filling her before going back to her room.

The next morning, Samantha left her room with her curls cascading down her back and a light about of makeup on her face. She had on a pair of yellow wedge sandals and a white sundress that was covered with sunflowers. She entered the lobby and took a deep breath of the exotic smells of the island and smiled, making her way to the front door. Samantha had actually almost forgotten about seeing Dwayne the day before. She had forced herself to believe it was a dream, that was, until she heard his deep voice behind her. She squeaked and turned quickly, her curls flying around her head as her wide eyes focused on him in shock.

He was wearing a white button down that did NOTHING to disguise his physique, khaki cargo shorts and flip flops. He swallowed nervously, the nerves showing in his eyes. "Hello again, please don't judge me on this or find me weird, but, uh...I was wondering if you'd like to have coffee?"

Samantha blinked, her body shutting down for a few moments. Coffee? Coffee?! Dwayne Johnson wanted to have COFFEE with her?! A soft frown appeared on her face and she looked back up at him. "Why?"

Dwayne was seemingly at a loss for words and didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry if I offended you or creeped you out. I just...I don't know what I thought. Again I'm sorry." He started to back away before Samantha's brain yelled at her. "No wait! I'm sorry, that s-sounded rude. I just didn't understand why you wanted to have coffee with me. I mean...you're you and I'm me and I just don't understand."

Dwayne smiled at her and nodded. "I get it, I do...but...how about we just talk and hang out as people?"

Samantha's head tilted as she looked around them. The staff were watching but trying to to seem like they were. Flushing, Samantha looked back to him and nodded. "S-sure. I'll have coffee with you." Dwayne's face lit up and he held out his hand. "I'm Dwayne Johnson, nice to meet you." Samantha put her hand in his larger one and smiled shyly. "I'm Samantha Reynolds. It's nice to meet you, Mr. Johnson." This caused Dwayne to laugh. "Call me Dwayne, please." His smile grew as her blush turned darker. "Alright...Dwayne."

He took a step to the side and motioned to the door. "Shall we?" Nodding, Samantha moved in step with him. "We shall."

(let me know if I should continue this)
