So without further delay LET'S BEGIN! Shall we?

1983

It was a beautiful morning. Thankfully, not a very hot and unpleasant one! Being the last days of spring meant that the summer was unfortunately about to begin.

Inside the forest, between the trees and the greenery there was a small, sort and thin girl. Her skin was black like the chocolate, her hair brown and her eyes black and soft. Walking in the woods the girl looked at the forest that never seemed to end. She didn't like summer, for the weather was insufferable and her small body was sweltering all the time. All of her friends were playing in the town, or riding their bikes but she wasn't like them!

She preferred cold, and winter and of course snow. Hating summer and being honest hating most of her peers she preferred wondering around in the woods, alone, thinking that she was Alice from her favourite fairy tale, Alice in wonderland!

Today was her day! June, June the 13th!

Her Birthday!

The little brunette was becoming 7 years old today, a Woman! An adult... A Lady, perhaps! Wearing a yellow shirt, a red short and black sandals, she didn't look like a little lady at all. Didn't even look like a girl. She looked like a weird little boy, according to a classmate of her's Ben! Being the Mayer's Granddaughter, she should be the most chatty and popular kid in the town. But she was anything but...

She was that weird kid that didn't talk much. Not because she was scared, but mostly cause she was bored. She was bored with the girl's always playing the Princess or the wives. She would seriously start to hit her head in a wall if she had to listen to them talking to their dolls like they were real. They found her weird, but there was nothing more scary or weird in her book than talking to soulless dolls and caressing their hair, like they where real!

The fact that she didn't enjoy the girls company did not mean she liked being one of the boys, either. Finding them annoying, that they didn't let her play with them for being a girl! Not that she wanted it! She found it odd how they were always cracking jokes that in no way were funny and laughed with them. It was so stupid and she was not one to like stupidity!

The only child, she found somewhat amusing and interesting was her classmate Ben. Ben was a tall kid, the tallest out of all of them and he was very PROUD with himself for that. Being very pretty, tall and blonde, with brown eyes and freckles he was always the focus of the girls in class and outside. They fought for his attention and one of her classmate's even asked him to be her husband. The black girl touched her head...

'God the Girl was stupid'

Ben had laughed at that, but didn't mock her. He just smiled at her and saying that they had a lot of time to see about those things when they grew up! The girl laughed and started to jump from happiness, hugging him. Having to admit it, his reaction was very mature and kinda nice to the point that she herself blushed in his face! She was waiting for him to play and make fun of the poor girl, but he was a gentleman as her Granmma used to say.

Ben...

The loner Ben, who was the best student. He was beautiful, more clever than all of them in combine and a true knight. He was never the one to talk, only listening with his book at hand!

She was intrigued by him, as she was taking a liking at the boy who mocked her in the past!

For he was different, confident and very Cool!

He was popular without wanting it. She on the other hand was the complete opposite. If she wasn't the Mayor's Granddaughter she would have been completely invisible.

She would have liked it actually! No-one annoying her and being together with her real friends. The animals! Those were the company she wished to have! She had a special connection with animals and in a way she wanted to be one of them. They were her pack and with them and her Grandmother she only felt home!

She was one off them!

As she was moving in the forest she saw a poor, small badger. The little animal was under an old willow and was making some painful and disturbing sounds. Immediately and without a second thought she run and took the little creature in her hands.

"What happened to you poor thing!", she said looking at the black and white animal.

As she was researching the creature's body she came in contact with the source of the problem. The brunette saw the fragile, little paw that was prickled by a thorn. She then looked at the pained animal!

"Hmmmm, so that's the problem!", she said sitting down immediately and starting to pull the thorn out of the badger's hurt leg.

The animal moved in discomfort wanting to get away but the girl caressed it's fair and with a deep voice demanded:

"Easy! Stay there and don't move! This is only going to hurt for a minute."

And in her voice the animal stayed still like it understood what she was saying. The girl put the thorn out and ripped a part of her shirt to bandage the wound.

"Here you are! It will be okay tomorrow. Like it never happened!", she said smiling to the badger like being a friend that understood her.

"Thank you!"

The girl watched surprised, as she was sure she heard a male voice. Just looking for the source of the voice, her eyes traveled far way, but the only thing she could see were a sea of different types of trees!

"Okay! That's it. I need to be more often around people.", she murmured to herself.

"Your not crazy", the voice spoke again, "Nor your imagining this. Thanks for your help, it was valuable!".

The dark haired child looked down at the badger in shock.

"No! There is no way. It can't...be!", she said jumping from her sit.

"This is real even thow i have to admit... it's strange. It's my first time talking to a human.", the creature said without opening it's mouth and then continued, "But where are my manners? My name is Cor.".

'That's it i am becoming Mad. A badger is talking to me!'

"Your name dear? I wanna know who is my saviour?", said the male voice.

"Ehhh... well, it's... you know what forget it!", she said and syarting to run at the opposite direction.

"NO! Don't go that way!, she heard the imaginary voice telling her but it was already to late. She was running like crazy with the voice vanishing slowly behind her.

She run, and run and run...

Until she was out of energy.

Did she just imagined all of that, was she going crazy?

A badger talked to her. Seriously her granny was right. She should be more talkative and sociable with the other kids.

"No Way! (touched her forehead) No, Get a grip! Animals don't talk!", the dark skinned kid said falling to the ground from exhaustion.

Alice in Wonderland was her favourite fairy tale, but now she didn't know if she wanted to be that heroine. This was completely crazy and probably something that was born out of boredom and her own imagination.

Yes, that must be...

Probably!

Looking around, she realized that she didn't know exactly where she was. While she was running away from the talking animal, the little girl had come to a part of the forest she never had seen before.

'Lovely!' she thought, 'Now only God knows how i am going to get back."

The sun was up to the sky now and shinning threw and threw making the day even hotter than it already was.

'Oh i hate heat!', thought the girl and as she was looking at herself she realised that she was sweating all over her body.

"GREAT!", she said.

After sitting for a time, not realising how much time had passed sge got up ready to head home.

"Okay! Adventure is over! Let's see how exactly am i going to return home!".

As she was about to leave, she saw something that got her attention. In the old tree she was sitting under, there were letters engraved in it. She touched the tree trunk and there she saw two letters cracked in it.

R J

"R and J...", who knows who was responsible for that.

How many people had actually wondered around the woods before her, all these years her town existed?

Without taking a second look she started to move away from the tree. Walking in the direction she believed that was the right one, she wanted to leave from that place. The sooner the better!

She didn't know why but something a feeling in her stomach. An instinct, told her that something was completely wrong with that place. Something wasn't right!

Walking and wondering around the woods she couldn't take those two letters away from her mind. R...J! Usually, she never payed any attention in such trivial and foolish things but for the life of hers she felt an aura of anger and violence coming from these letters in an old tree, in an immense forest.

"R...Rachel...Ronald... but...", she wondered to who those letters could be referring to.

'No! It can't be anyone from my class and also these scratches they looked old', she thought, bringing her right hand to her chin like she was a detective, or some

shit.

"J... thow i don't know anyone in the town that treir name start from J... only", her blood run called only at the thought, "No! No! This... it can't be! He died last year!".

After a chase scene the police had found the dead body, inside a house that belonged to the Jarvis family. Some poor family of three who desided to go on holidays at the worst place in the worst possible time!

The adults tried to keep the children away from the bloody story but the News already had traveled in the whole state of New Jersey.

The girl, remembered these days. Many reportes had visited their town and the place that the murders had happen. Then many people from the public, the families and friends of the victims furious demanding to know what in the world had happen to their loved ones! Even kids and teens went to see out of curiosity.

The little animal lover, was very small only 6 at the time but she could recall the noise and the sensation of those days! People running like crazy, curious tourists, angry relative's, the town's people cursing at anything and everything and the police desperate to keep the balance between them and also do their job!

It was madness! The police lost many important evidences that day because of the involvement of random people, who got in uninvited and destroyed their work.

She was a little closer in what was happening from her peers thanks to her grandmother. Her Granny had stopped being the Mayor since 1979, after another killing spread had happened. She was very small, still a baby then but all she knew was the fact that a big part of the townspeople demanded from the woman to leave her position.

That was until last year! After chaos ensued and nor the people, nor the police could actually find a solution or do anything about it... it was her granny the one that stepped in and stopped everything. The angry mob of her fellow citizens, the furious relatives and the annoying tourist's, or anyone that had any curiosity in that matter.

She stopped the madness and it was in that day that the little girl saw a weird look in the people's eyes. They were looking at her grandmother with pure astonishment. Even the strangers who never stepped a single foot in their land before they were looking at her grandmother with admiration!

It was impossible one of the reporter's had said. A single woman alone, more importantly one of colour stopped all of that chaos herself.

And that's how her Granny became a Mayor once again!

Up until this point, the town's people were devided with her, since the summer of 1979. Some of them respected her still, even without being a Mayor or having any real power in the town but there was a part of the people that looked at her with disgust!

Even hatred!

For three years, they lived comfortably. Her Granmma regularly worked in her own business, the city's cinema! Her granny loved movies, a love she passed onto her granddaughter and a love that guided her to open the first and only cinema in the town.

She had obtained it after a lot of hard work and many difficulties as she said. Honestly, the small girl preferred being at the colorful cinema, rather than the cold and lonely Mayor's office.

But her Grandmother was born to be a Mayor. A leader! Someone who inspired people!

She would never forget their looks!Remembering that admiration on everyone's face's, was really a life experience! An admiration that the little girl already had for the woman.

The girl with the eyes in the colour of coal, the same eyes people said were exactly similar to the ones her grandmother had always admired the older woman's strength, positivity and wit. But it was in that particularly bright day of Monday the the 16th of June, 1982 that by looking at the way her Grandmother calmed out the spirit's of at least 500 hundred people she realised what her dream was.

She wanted to become exactly like her grandmother! The colourful woman was her inspiration and she would so anything to make her proud!

She blushed!

'Grandma!' she thought, 'Wait and see... see what i will become!'.

She had been so lost in her own head and thoughts that she didn't realize how the weather had changed. Clouds had cover the bright sun and as she looked up to the sky her eyes widened.

No, it couldn't be!

From the black sky she saw snow falling. Real, white snowflakes one after the other like they were dancing in the air.

"WHAT THE FUCK?", yelled the girl with her mouth open.

"How in the... that's not possible... i must be dreaming", she said putting her hand out to touch the falling snow.

'No it's REAL! MY GOD IT'S REAL... AND IT'S JUNE!', she thought.

"How?", she asked again herself but then a sound stopped her.

Gap

She stopped dead on the spot.

She was lost in a part of the forest she didn't even knew, nor ever being there before. With the weather and her mind, her eyes, her head she didn't even know anymore, playing tricks on her. And suddenly believing she was alone she heard footsteps. The footsteps weren't soft, they were HARD and in a way dark.

Terrified the girl turned her head to take a good look but the only thing she saw were trees, shrubbs and a never-ending forest!

"Must be my imagination!", said but without even wanting to take a look nor being there for a moment more she turned her head ready to run... FAST!

There she stopped!

Staying there and cold like a statue!

He was Infront of her. A TALL, HUGE MAN, that looked like a GIANT! He was wearing dirty clothes, a grey shirt, a jacket that was rippes apart jeans and old combat boots. In his face he wore the famous Hockey mask and in his hand he was holding a Machete.

The man looked at her and for a single second, that actually felt like an eternity their eyes met. And there she saw it, Hatred... pure hatred and anger she never had seen before. Such a hatred she never believed anyone capable of having. The man put his machete in the air ready to rip her apart.

And then she did the most logical thing that came into her mind...

She let out a YELL, a loud yell with everything she had. With all the strength that her voice held.

And without thinking about it, she run.

RUN LIKE HELL!

For once her legs guided her with no stopping.

"HELP!", she yelled again and again and again, "HELP! ANYONE! JASON VOORHEES IS TRYING TO KILL ME!... Please, pleaseeee anyone...".

Her trying, her calls they were in vain.

Running in the storm with sandals was extremely hard. And it would become even harder, after she lost one of her sandals as she was running. The brunette tried to take it back but when she saw the huge man running behind her still, she left it and kept running. Then she lost the other one as well. Running in the snow was hard, but running barefoot it was a challenge like no other.

Her feet were getting cold and she felt the snow that pained her bare skin after a time. However she kept running and running. Thankfully she was very good at track and didn't got very tired. As she was thinking that she had the upper hand she hit her right, tiny feet a rock and fell in the ground.

"No...", she cried grabbing her feet and seeing the wound, it was deep. Now there was no way she could outrun him!

She heard the footsteps coming closer and the man with the machete approaching her. No that was the end!

The girl looked at him and tried to got up.

"If yo...u if you're going to do it i will not be a coward! Grandmother...", said the girl remembering the woman's face,"I wanted so much to be like you! Ben...", she said but everything stopped as the Machete met her head.

A screaming, desperate breath emerged from cold lips, filling lungs, as she opened her eyes slowly. At first all she could see was different kind of colors with blue, yellow, red and orange being only some of them. Her whole body felt numb and tired and in a weird way, even smaller that it already was.

Where was she?

Who even was she?

Then somethings came into her mind, a town, the forest, a badger and two letters... R J!

Why these two bloody letters? What exactly did they mean she didn't know, the only things she knew was that a wary and bad feeling consumed her heart every time she brought those two letters in her mind.

After she opened her eyes it wasn't long before she nearly jumped from her spot and sat in what it felt a very nice and soft bed.

She saw white walls and a woman with a white dress running immediately at her, and without any difficulty she understood exactly where she was!

"SHE WOKE UP!", she heard the woman screaming and before she could say anything the young nurse came to her grabbing her by the shoulders, "Are you okay Miss! How are you feeling?"

"I...", she said remembering slowly what happened and how she was knocked out.

SUDDENLY... The room door opened and a furious black woman who seemed like she was at her fifties came inside and run to the girl. She wore a yellow suit and red high heels. Her eyes where exactly the same color as her granddaughter, their eyes looked so much alike that it was a little ridiculous. Like they shared the same pair of eyes! Her hair though were different. She didn't share the child's brown hair, but she had fiery red hair!

"Madam Mayer!", the younger nurse said, "Your Granddaughter is alright. She just woke. In half an hour she will be fully recovered and well!".

The woman ignoring completely the younger girl run to her granddaughter and angrily said:

"What where you doing in the forest alone? How many times did I need to tell you THAT YOU CAN'T GO INTO THE WOODS BY YOURSELF? Your not a baby anymore Pamela!", the woman finished looking at her little girl.

"Granny, sorry for making you worry I... i got Lost!", she said, "It... I didn't want to make you worry!".

"YOU MADE ME THOUGH!", the older woman sobbed and hugged her granddaughter, as the girl returned the hug, "I NEARLY DIED FROM FEAR. YOU WERE MISSING FOR 2 DAYS... WHAT HAPPENED?".

The girl's eyes opened surprised and kinda in denial, "Tw...two days?", was the only thing she could say.

"Yes! The police found you unconscious under a tree", then the girl started to tremble and cry.

The black woman became pale because she knew her child well. Pamela never cried, she never let out a sob even when she was sick or hurt. She was the strongest and most serious child she had seen through her lifetime and that actually had put her in deep thoughts. For a 7-year-old should be a kid, not a mini adult!

Seeing her baby cry actually made her a little nervous.

Hearing the cries, the door opened again this time coming inside was a young, blonde boy and two police officers.

"BEN!", the girl laughed when she saw him.

The boy was silent for he had never seen such emotion coming from his classmate. She was mostly distant, a loner and in her head. Most of the other kids and even the teachers believed her to be cold but he knew better!

Something inside told him, that was just the way she was. And he actually found her charming in her own way. Annoying and stubborn for sure, but very special.

But know, this was the only time in his 7-year-old life that so her crying, or laughing. And then, the most unexpected, irrational thing HAPPENED!

She got up and before anyone could stop her, without answering to her Grandmother who yelled her name, she run and grabbed the boy by his shirt.

He was looking at her being surprised and nervous, almost shy looking and it was then that she kissed him! Their mouths met and they were both losing their mind's, not caring for what happened outside of them.

However that happened for two completely different reasons!

Pamela, was lost in the kiss. Happy that she had the boy she liked all to herself and proud that she was the first of her classmates who actually kissed a boy!

And god what BOY!

The best their primary school had to offer!

But Ben was a different story. His head couldn't exactly comprehend what was happening! A girl... kissi... him! And not just any girl. The girl who always was indifferent for him, no matter how many times he tried to talk to her.

He was kissed... his first kiss... by the girl he liked and the only girl in the town that he believed didn't like him back.

They broke the kiss and Pamela smiled at him with confidence.

Her first kiss was... interesting! It wasn't mind blowing, but it wasn't bad either. She played with her tongue a little. Ben was red from shyness and Pamela found that reaction very cute.

"It was nice!", she smiled but for the first time in her life she felt someone grabbing her ear.

As she turned around, she saw the nurse being numbed, together with the two police officers and her grandmother being more red, like her hair than black now!

"Granny, it hurts!", she said.

"What in the world you're doing, Pamela? Your seven and you're already kissing boys... What are you planning to do when you become a teenager?", screamed the woman but left her ear and then said, " To be honest i never believed that i would ever scold you but after vanishing and that right know... you deserved it!".

She rubbed her ear, 'Oh my Granny has a Strong hand!'.

Then knowing what almost happened to her, she felt tears coming into her eyes again and the trembling came back.

"Baby your okay? You cry... tremble i am sorry I didn't want to hurt you only to scold you a little!", said her Grandmother.

In these words the girl smiled, "Thank you Grandma!", she said only now realizing how lucky she was to have a parent like her. For Crystal's Lake Mayor wasn't a grandmother for the woman, but she was like her mom. Not that she remembered very good her own mothers, the only thing she had from her were fading and vague memories.

"What are you saying (said the woman now a little nervous for her sweet granddaughter was different than usual) What are you thanking me for?"

"For everything... for having you. I am so lucky to have you as my grandmother and i wanted to let you know that... like i wanted to kiss Ben (she cried) before i died!'.

Now everyone including the little Ben fell silent.

The woman grabbed her granddaughter and he shaked her, "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING PAM, BABY WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?", she looked very scared now.

"He wasn't there when you found me!", said the woman.

"Who? WHO WAS WITH YOU? (said the woman furiously) WHAT HE DID TO YOU?", she screamed begging the girl to tell her.

"Himmm (her voice cracked and she started to tremple again) H... (SOBBS) Jason Voorhees!"

Silence fell to the room! No-one was speaking as that name had not been heard by an inhabitant of the town outside for more than a year.

The first policeman came Infront of her and touched her hand, "Sweety you must been wrong! That thin... the person you're referring to is dead over a year now!".

"I KNOW!", she screamed desperately and started to cry very hard. So hard she never had before in her whole life, "BUT I ALSO KNOW WHAT I SAW! HE WAS SCARY, AND HUGE LIKE A GIANT! HE LOOKED... HE DIDN'T LOOK HUMAN. HE WAS WEARING DIRTY CLOTHES AND A JUCKET THAT WAS RIPPED... AND HE HAD A HOCKEY MAS... AND THE MACHETE! HE KILLED ME...", she felt silent in that though and looked her hands, "How am I alive, then?", she murmured to herself.

They were all pale and then the police man said again, "Your alive you see. It must have been a dream!".

"A Nightmare!", she said bluntly, "It was hell, a living nightmare, I know when I dream and this... it wasn't a dream! I SAW HIM".

"Did you saw a dead man with a deformed head?", asked the policeman calmly.

"No...", answered the girl.

And the policeman left out a smile and said, "Thought so!".

"I didn't got to see his face, as i told you he wore a mask!".

She looked at everyone the nurse, then Ben, the two policemen and then her Grandmother who was looking at her with a combination of feelings.

"I am NOT LYING FOR GOD'S SAKE", she run to her granny, "Granny i am not lying. You know that I could never create a story like that... but it HAPPENED. HE WAS THERE, AND HE WAS TEN TIMES SCARIER THAN THEY SAY IN THE STORIES!!! HE... (she cried) IT WAS SNOWING..."

"Snowing?", now the one that asked her was Ben.

She nodded, "Yeah!".

Now the three adults, except the mayor laughed hard.

"Okay snowing in June! For a moment you had me there! Madam Mayer your granddaughter has a talent for theater!", fiished the policeman.

"SHUT UP!", the woman's face was hard, but her voice was even scarier, "My granddaughter doesn't lie... Ever!".

The other police officer who stayed in the back all this time and didn't participate in the conversation said to her, "So you believe her! Claiming that she saw him...".

"I don't know if it was him, but I cut my hand right now if you want my child never lies!", in those words Pamela looked at her grandmother... "Gr...mom!".

Before the woman could answer the little boy also added, "I guarantee for this myself. She is my classmate and she NEVER lied before!".

Pamela looked at Ben and he smiled at her gently.

"So we have a claim that a dead man came back to life from two children and the grandmother of one of them!", added the first policeman.

"What are you implying, sir?", asked the woman with an angry tone.

But before the man could answer, the little girl talked again, "Please sir! You have to believe me i don't have a reason to play with all of you!".

"Okay then!", said the other more calm policeman with a gentle smile in his face, "Do you remember to tell us, where the incident took place!".

"Ehhh, not exactly, i was wondering around the woods. I (remembering the story with the badger she decided to keep this information to herself) i Got lost and as i tried to return (she got pale when she remembered the tree)".

"Baby are you okay!", said her Grandmother grabbing her and making her to sit in a chair.

"If it's difficult don't continue... if it's painful for you!", said the other policeman.

She shaked her head, "No it's thr... it's just..."

"Feel free to share anything without being judged", said the first policeman, with everyone giving him strange looks.

"No it's just... there is something like a feeling, for a place but it's not a fact", she said low voiced and then the voice of her friend echoed threw her mind.

"I have a classmate, who is very clever, strong and confident. She doesn't talk much, but when she does everyone is listening. For she is very confident! Where has this confidence gone, Pamela?", the girl is now looking at the boy speechless and blushing, feeling something like butterflies in her stomach.

He is right!

"Your right", she is saying and he's smiling back at her.

Then she continues, "As i was wondering I...i I stopped to take a break under the tree... It wasn't... it gave me a very wary feeling. It was an old tree but my god, it screamed pain, and anger and Violence... There were two letters cracked in it. R and J... I don't know when i saw it, i got terrified. Something was very wrong with that tree, very wrong. I run away actually (she said a little ashamed of her cowardness) and as i was running i tried to think people I know from the town, that their names start with R and J and then I realized in our town we have no one with a name that starts with J. At least no one that i know... (she is trembling from fear again)... only him!

I run not looking back and then i realized that while i was running the sun was gone. Clouds... and snow! It was snowing, in the middle of June. Then I thought that I was going crazy when I suddenly heard footsteps. They were hard Footsteps and and and there was HIM! I didn't see his face but my god his eyes... they (she started breathing fastly like she was running) they... full of hate! I never saw so much hate in my life, never thought it could exist, he followed me... His MACHETE was ready to tear me apart... I think he didn't have a problem with me personally, he he wanted to kill anything that was good, and happy... and ALIVE! I believed I could outrun him, but I was just stupid he found me... he didn't even run... he found me and...", she couldn't continue and sobbed like crazy but she had to say it...

..."And he killed me!".

They were all completely pale! Especially the adults, Ben was shocked but her grandmother felt like she had seen a ghost.

"Then I woke up here... i can't say with evidence that it was the tree but I know I know these letters meant something. That had to do with him especially, for he he... everything happened after I touched... after I found that damn tree."

"Relax!", said the police officer who had insulted her before, now speaking to her with a gentle even fatherly voice caressing her head. And in her surprise he hugged her.

"It must have been difficult!", he said.

"You believe me?", she asked.

"I believe that you say the truth and i also believe that no child should be having that kind of memories.Your gonna have to sleep and relax... Okay?", he said and the girl nodded.

After a while, her visitors left and she stayed together with her Grandma who wasn't her usual self. Usually her Grandmother would be very happy with both herself and the stuff but right now she was avoiding her, avoiding any kind of conversation!

She only talk to her about other more trivial things and when the night fell her grandmother slept in a chair right next to her, believing her little Pamela to sleep!

But the traumatized girl wasn't sleeping... she was thinking. THINKING about her experience, about these damn letters and about him. When she thought about him, she immediately trembled. That man would stay in her mind, for the rest of her life!
