Have you ever Chapter 11

Have you ever loved somebody so much

It makes you cry?

Have you ever needed something so bad

You can't sleep at night?

Have you ever tried to find the words

But they don't come out right?

Have you ever, have you ever ?

Jūin jutsu Kubiwa = The bite of the snake

Tetsu = Iron

Mangekyô Sharingan = Hypnotic Kaleidoscope of the Sharingan

Orochimaru's hideout, Oto.

"KABUTO!"

Orochimaru's thunderous voice reverberated in the den's corridors. It was a relief for the ninjas present not to be the target of their master's anger, because the sanin's anger was frightening. The assistant of the snake seemed unaffected by the tantrums of its leader. Everyone in the den was terrified of Kabuto as he moved through the dark corridors with a perpetual grin on his face. When Kabuto reached his master's office, he gave a small knock and opened the door without waiting for an answer. Once he heard the door open, the snake turned around angrily and sharply.

"Were you able to find him?" Where is Sasuke?"

The medical ninja replaced his glasses with the tip of his right index finger and handed a parchment to the sanin who took it. Why did that ninja think he could disappear without leaving a trace like that? There was an agreement between them. He taught him all he knew about ninjutsu and developed his power so that he could execute his brother. The only thing Sasuke needed to do in return was give him his body. However, the Uchiha had been missing from the den for two days. The subordinates failed to find any trace of where the ninja had gone. Kabuto smirked at him. He would have decapitated this man right now if he didn't need him so badly.

"Orochimaru-Sama, I remember that we were discussing Naruto Uzumaki's disappearance before your precious Sasuke went missing. Could the fact that he disappeared almost right away be just a coincidence?"

After his assistant told him what just happened, the former Konoha ninja thought about it. The jinchûriki did not seem to want Sasuke to make his own choices. It is unclear why the Uzumaki did not want Sasuke to complete his revenge against Itachi, but he was a very stubborn man. Orochimaru turned his head to Kabuto, who was watching him from behind his glasses.

"Tell me what you think, Kabuto."

He pointed to the scroll he had given him earlier. Moving closer to the table, he sat down. After his master had joined him, he took the scroll back.

"During the Chunin examination in Konoha, you used Jutsu Kubiwa on Sasuke to find him if necessary. I reread the scroll you used, and I saw that you could trace the cursed subjects. It's only the bite maker who can find his ninjas."

Despite being impressed by the intelligence and resourcefulness of his assistant, the sanin kept his satisfaction to himself, since he didn't need to know. It was safer to let them believe he didn't need them to accomplish anything, so they would always give their best. He leaned over the table to observe the jutsu needed to activate the mark and find the runaway as quickly as possible. He had to change his body quickly, otherwise, he would be too weak to protect himself from those around him. The sanin knew everyone around him was there because they had something to gain, not because they were loyal to him. Orochimaru carefully studied the document. He was amazed that he hadn't noticed this passage when he first used it. A dark smile spread across his pale face.

"Kabuto, I think we might be able to find Sasuke easier than I thought."

As he continued to decipher the scroll, the assistant simply nodded; he finally decided to tell his master what he had been thinking about since the day before.

"Perhaps Sasuke tried to join the jinchuriki for some reason. If we find the Uchiha, I'm sure Naruto Uzumaki won't be far away. We can capture him and bring him back here to begin the extraction of the Kyûbi. The nine-tailed demon is almost at your fingertips."

As Orchimaru realized that once again Kabuto was right, he chuckled cynically. The jinchuriki was a huge advantage for his transfer to a new body, combining the fox's power with Uchiha's as well as his own! He had already imagined being the leader of all nations and an immortal in the world of ninjas. He'd find Sasuke and the Uzumaki. He turned to his assistant, who was waiting patiently for him.

"After we finish the jutsu, we will go and prepare what we will need to control the biju host."

Kabuto vanished in a cloud of smoke. He placed his right hand on a blank sheet of paper as he made the necessary signs. For a few moments, the paper remained blank, leading him to believe that he had made a mistake. Finally, a word appeared, Tetsu, and another menacing smile appeared on the colorless face of the sanin.

"Hmm...Tetsu... Is it possible that he went all the way to the land of the Samurai? What a strange choice."

A dot appeared on the scroll with the symbol of the mark he had put on Sasuke. He smiled as well, he had the exact position of his fugitive. The man rolled up the scroll before placing it with the others in his library. He then sat at his desk to review the jutsu to use to immobilize the Uzumaki. He hoped that he had not yet completed the link with the fox, otherwise the maneuver would be riskier. The ninja took the opportunity to look for another scroll that he would need to stop the jinchûriki, he had never used it before and hoped that he would have no problem. This jutsu was the key to win against the power of the Bijù and Naruto. Orochimaru hoped to surprise the Uzumaki enough to seal it quickly. The only piece of the puzzle, so the sanin was unsure was Sasuke. He was probably looking for his former teammate to kill him. After all, the last time the two ninjas had met, Sasuke had come close to killing the blonde. Orochimaru had to intervene after all, he needed the boy to stay alive until he could extract the kûybi. So, he had to hurry to find them before they clashed and the sanin was left without Bijû. Of course, there were eight others, but Orochimaru wanted the most powerful and dangerous one, and it was sealed in Naruto's body. The door opened again, and Kabuto was carrying a small backpack on his shoulders.

"I have everything we need, Orochimaru-Sama."

After rolling the scroll and telling him where he had located Sasuke, Orochimaru explained his strategy. In response, the man pushed his glasses back onto his nose and nodded. Their departure was not announced to anyone, as it was unnecessary. It wouldn't take them more than five days to travel anyway, according to Orochimaru. Sasuke was bringing him the jinchûriki on a silver platter and he didn't realize it. The sanin figured the Uchiha would be upset he couldn't end the Uzumaki life. However, Sasuke would forgive him when he was able to develop his Mangekyô Sharingan. He would then be powerful enough to defeat Itachi. Both ninjas set off, Orochimaru eager to join Sasuke as soon as possible. He wanted to avoid the Uchiha killing his jinchûriki.

Konoha, Hokage's office

"DAMN IT!"

Tsunade's fist slammed down on her desk with force, destroying it. There was almost nothing left. As the blonde shook with anger, she held a crumpled scroll in her right hand. Shizune slowly approached her friend. She put her hand on Tsunade's forearm, it was rock-hard.

"What's the matter?"

The Hokage breathed out twice to calm herself down. Otherwise, her anger would impair her judgment, which proved difficult. Tsunade was sure she would strangle Naruto if he were in front of her. What an ungrateful fool. Having trouble calming down, she finally took a third breath. Her assistant's concern was evident in the face of the blonde, who opened her eyes in surprise, and the Hokage, unable to explain herself, handed her the scroll she had just received. With a quick movement, Shizune grabbed the document, unrolled it, and examined its contents.

Tsunade-sama

I have bad news to share. When I awoke this morning, I went to Naruto's room to wake him up, but he wasn't there. After that, I hurried to Sasuke's room, which was also empty. As a result, I requested an audience with Mifune-sama, but he had not seen our ninjas, and the guards were the same. I immediately summoned Pakkun and the pack; they were already on the trail. I'm leaving Tetsu no Kuni to go back to Konoha. My apologies.

Kakashi Hatake.

Taking her gaze off the document, Shizune turned to look at her friend. Her arms were crossed over her ample chest as she stared at Mount Hokage. Everything about her stance suggested frustration and anger. She approached her Hokage cautiously. For now, she knew she had to remain silent. Tsunade felt the need to sort out her emotions and find a way out of this situation. Shizune was mad at Naruto. She would've slapped him for good measure if he was facing her. Both women stayed silent for a while. Last but not least, Tsunade sighed loudly before sitting down at her destroyed desk, her assistant following her. Tsunade's posture and movements showed stress. Her shoulders were tense and her face was tense.

"Does this idiot think it's a brilliant idea to disappear with a nukenin?" "What the hell is he thinking?"

A bitter laugh escaped her lips.

"Of course! That's Naruto for you, he never thinks."

Shizune sat down in a chair opposite Tsunade.

"When Naruto sent you his last letter, didn't he ask you to use all his leave?"

As Tsunade looked at her assistant, she slapped herself unmercifully on the forehead.

"Yeah... Yes, you're right. I was not mentioned at the time by that idiot, Sasuke. Otherwise, I would have told him, "Get the Uchiha over to Konoha right now.".

Tsunade stood up quickly from her chair and spun around the room at a brisk pace, murmuring to herself in a low voice. She rubbed her hand through her hair occasionally. Had she known Naruto was taking his vacation WITH Sasuke, she would have refused him or wouldn't have told the Council members about the Uchiha. Her only option was to send ninjas after them, but she didn't want to send ANBU members either. Although they were great ninjas, they had no chemistry with the blond boy, and Tsunade didn't want things to get out of hand. They would be almost invincible, and the last thing she wanted was to put Naruto in the bingo book. Her faithful assistant watched her without judging her, she knew how her "Please ask Sai Sakura and Shikamaru to come and see me tomorrow at 11:00."

"Yes, Tsunade-sama."

Sai, who lived closest to her, was contacted as soon as possible so he could communicate with the other two ninjas. Shizune suspected that these three would be sent to find Sasuke and Naruto. She approved of the Hokage's choice, Sai and Sakura were used to working together, and with Shikamaru's intelligence, they should be able to locate the two men quickly.

Somewhere north

It was time for Naruto to put away their things. Sasuke was still wrapped up in the blankets, sleeping peacefully. His face revealed a smile of pure happiness, and it was almost hard to believe that all of this was real. However, it was true. The man he had loved for years was there with him. They had slept together. It had been a long time since he had slept so well. Sasuke looked equally peaceful. Naruto leaned over to gently shake his lover's shoulder. Naruto was on his back in a flash. Sasuke smiled teasingly at him and kissed him fiercely. Getting caught up in the sensation of this morning's kiss, Naruto let himself get carried away. When they ran out of breath, they parted.

"Hello, my sweetheart."

Naruto was shivering as his husky voice rang out from the ebony-haired ninja. He grabbed the back of his lover's neck and pulled him in for another kiss.

"Hello, love."

There was a tender smile on their lips as they looked at each other. Naruto placed his right hand gently in the hair of his lover. While Sasuke lovingly touched his face. The warmth provided by the covers and the presence of the other caused them not to want to get up. Last night's fire kept the cave cozy and warm. After a long sigh, Sasuke embraced his kitsune hastily.

"We'll have to hurry. Kakashi probably realized we were missing and sent his pack after us."

As he stared at his beloved, Naruto leaned on his elbows. He didn't want to ask that question, but he had to.

"Are you sure you want to go with me?" Returning to Konoha will not be pleasant for you."

Sasuke's eyes darkened dangerously as a growl escaped from his throat before his black pupils locked onto the blue gaze.

"Never ask me a question like that again. You are the only one who can help me escape the darkness that has surrounded me since my clan was massacred. Even in spite of the fact that I will not give up the idea of ending my brother's 't want to abandon you anymore, nor do I want to cause you pain. As long as you are with me, I can overcome anything. Only you have always believed in me and thought of me. I want you to know that you are my home, so let us face the challenges together!"

In contrast, the kiss that accompanied this declaration was harsh, direct, and filled with love. Naruto responded enthusiastically. He had received the answer he had been hoping for. Sasuke was pushed back slightly by the Uzumaki, who smiled while taking his hand.

"You don't need to worry about Pakkun and his pack, I have sent two clones with our scent amplified twice in the opposite direction."

He was taken aback by Sasuke's laughter. Though he couldn't recall the last time he had heard it, the sound was wonderful, and he happily joined in. Sasuke up and covered his face with a butterfly kiss.

"The way you are... You're perfect. I... I love you..."

Toward the end of his sentence, his voice broke. He had difficulty confessing his feelings. Although he felt them, he found it difficult to receive them. Even so, he believed that he wasn't deserving of them, coming from someone like Naruto. He pushed his negative thoughts to the back of his mind. He didn't want to think about them anymore. Since Naruto loved him, he would accept it without hesitation. To live up to his love, he would do everything in his power. As Naruto held Sasuke tightly against him, the blonde kissed the top of the man's head and sought his lips tenderly.

"Teme, let's go. We have to finish packing. We can leave soon. I am looking forward to spending time with you in a peaceful setting so I can enjoy it."

With a smirk on his face and his eyebrows moving comically, he said that, making Sasuke smile. The two bags were then quickly packed with their belongings. Fire was smothered by the Uchiha, and they left the cave without looking back. While the cold weather hit them hard, at least this time there was no wind, just cold and snow as far as the eye could see. Together, they set out on their journey. Sasuke realized he hadn't even asked where they were going. To be honest, he didn't care at all where they were going. It didn't matter where he went, he would follow him.
