It was a really busy day at the restaurant. Touya was taking order after order. Yukito was occupied in the beverages station. It was only midday and Touya already wanted to just go home and take a really long nap.

Finally, after several hours, he approached his last table of the day. It was a family of three, two guys and a little girl dressed with the cheesiest pink dress he had ever seen in his life.

–Welcome to Yorokonde, are you ready to order?

–Hello! – said the little girl enthusiastically, with the biggest grin in her face – I'm princess Umi from the kingdom of Tomoeda, and these are the king, otou-sama Lantis, and our knight, otou-san Íguru. Do you want to be our cook for the day, waiter-sama?

Surprised, Touya took a glance at the adults. He could see they were not more amused at the situation than he was.

–We're sorry, she's being pretending all day to be a princess. You don't have to play along with her, don't worry – they said, smiling apologetically at him.

There was certainly something about the little girl that remembered him of Sakura when she was younger. He didn't want to play pretend, especially not at work. But he also didn't want to break the girl's little heart…

–Of course, You Highness – he reverenced a bit – May I take your order for the day?

The little girl's eyes glow with illusion at the act Touya was playing. Some of his co-workers were already looking at him. Sighing, Touya mentally prepared himself for what would come at the end of his shift.

About an hour and a half later, Touya found himself changing at the lockers when Yukito joined him.

–So… – started Yukito, amused – I heard you are a wonderful servant for little princesses.

–Shut up – answered a blushing Touya.

–I think it was cute – smiled Yukito.

Touya couldn't help blushing even more.

–Maybe someday it will be our child who needs a knight when visiting a restaurant – Yukito commented casually.

Touya visibly flushed. WHAT?

–Oh, my God, look at your face! – Yukito was barely able to speak as he was laughing soundly.

Groaning, Touya finished changing his clothes.

-Come on, let's go home. – he grunted. Then, smirking, he added – and if we're ever going to have a child, you're the one that'll act as king.

Yukito stopped laughing and look Touya with wide eyes. Slowly, a soft smile formed on Yukito's lips.

-Okay. You'll be the knight, then.

And without more words, they held hands, and left to go home.
