Luz ran into town, looking for her friends and finding them with the same shirts as she wore, except they matched their Track Colors. Gus' was cyan, Amity's was pink, and Willow's was green.

"Hey guys, how're the wings coming in?" Luz asked.

"Well... it sucks." Amity said, "I can't sleep on my back, and then comes the process of new nerves and muscles growing and attaching to the rest of my body. It's painful."

Luz flinched, she has to go through this too and it didn't sound that appealing. Willow was able to calm her nerves a little.

"Thankfully, it only lasts a week and then you can fly anywhere you want, when you want." Willow said, "But, depending on what type of wings you have, the upkeep and maintenance can be a pain."

"So, Gus, how's it feel to be the youngest with wings?" Luz asked.

"Eh, my dad was the same way, so it's not that surprising." Gus said.

"Yeah, it isn't that uncommon for wings to show up a couple years early." Amity said.

Luz was trying to figure out a way to bring up the fact that she's growing wings, which is when Gus noticed the shirt Luz was wearing.

"Hey, Luz, why are you were a Wing Shirt?"

"Oh, well, you see... can we talk about this in private?" Luz asked.

The three of them looked confused but led her to a place away from wondering eyes and open ears. As if Luz needed any more of that, being a human in a witch world makes you a unique creature, being half witch and half human makes you even more unique and the last thing Luz needed was more people to find her different. When they were in the woods, away from anyone that could possibly hear them.

"Alright, the reason that I'm wearing a wing shirt it... well... maybe I should just show you." Luz said.

She turned around and pulled the shirt off, revealing two growths that they all recognized.

"You're growing wings!?" They yelled.

"Not so loud!" Luz said, putting her shirt on, "I might be half witch, okay? I just learned about it today but I'm still not certain."

"Well, there is a way to tell." Amity said, "There is a spell to see if you have witch genes."

"There's a spell for that?" Luz asked.

"There's a spell for everything." Willow said, "So, let's go to a Healer that can perform the spell and find out if what kind of creature you are."

Luz and the trio went back into town, knowing that there's only one Healer they know that can help them, but also can keep this a secret... and do it for free.
