Boscha and Luz have spent the next few days trying to get the rest of the ingredients. They were looking for the last one they needed, and at this point, their wings were fully grown. That being said, they still weren't able to fly yet.
"Alright, let's get this last one and then we'll be able to find your parent." Boscha said.
Luz noticed that Boscha was being nice to her, more than she should be.
"Boscha, is there something going on?" Luz asked, "You're acting very weird."
Boscha looked down at the ground.
"I... I've been wondering about this." Boscha said, "You have several characteristics that my both my parents have, so I was-"
"You're nervous that you've been bullying your half-sister?" Luz asked.
"Yeah." Boscha said.
"Boscha, whether I am your sister or not, I don't care about what you've done to me." Luz said, "The fact that you're willing to help me, tells me that you want to be better. That's enough for me to know there's good in you."
Boscha smiled.
"Thanks." Boscha said, "I just want to get the toxicity out of my life. Which leads to a big problem I have."
"What?" Luz asked.
"D-d-don't worry about it." Boscha said, "I have to do that myself. Let's just-"
Boscha was cut off by the sound of thunder.
"Oh no, it's going to rain." Luz said, "Let's just look for it another day."
"We can't, according to the list, the ingredient we need only grows when it rains." Boscha said.
"Great." Luz said, sarcastically, "Can your wings block the boiling rain?"
Two dragon wings popped out of Boscha's back.
"Yes, they can." Boscha said, "What about you?"
Two bird wings pop out of Luz's back.
"Yep."
"Good, then we should be fine."
"Should being the key word." Luz said, raising her wings to cover her.
Boscha did the same and the rain started to pour. The rain had little effect to them, thanks to their wings. The two started to walk deeper into the woods and eventually found a cave. They went inside and lowered their wings.
"Alright, let's take a break in here for a bit." Boscha said, "Nice wings."
"Thanks, it's a pain grooming them though." Luz said, pulling a loose feather out.
She held the feather up so Boscha could look at it.
"Looks like their changing color." Boscha said, "I've heard that when Feathers change color, then that means they're ready for flight. So, when yours go from brown to green, then they should be good."
"I hope so." Luz said, "Flying will make everything much easier."
"Yeah, tell me about it." Boscha said, standing up, "Come on, the flower we need is only about a mile away from here."
Okay, well, the reason I stopped posting Vampyrism chapters, is because of something bad happening to me. Over the past couple of weeks, my stress, anxiety, and blood pressure has gone up to the point that it can be very hazardous to my health. I haven't been able to sleep, eat, or even sit still and focus. Because of this, I need to take a break and get away from stress and other things. There are a thousand other things going on in my life, but I don't feel like talking about all the problems going on. Now the question is, do you want a chapter of this tomorrow? Because if you do, you'll learn who a little bit about Luz's family. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
