After gathering the ingredients, Luz and Boscha brought them to the teacher. They looked on as the teacher ground up the flowers and tossing them into the Potion.

"Now, this potion is unique, it will create a green string attached to your pinkie. That string will also attach to your closest relative, be them a parent, a sibling, or something like that, if they share your blood, then you'll be able to find them." The Teacher said.

"So, this will help me find my family?" Luz said, nervously rubbing her wings, making green feathers fall, "I can finally get answers."

Boscha and Luz watched and waited. Each second felt like a year to Luz, this was the closest she was to the truth and she didn't know how long she could wait. After the teacher was done, and the potion was bottled, Luz began to drink it. When she was done, the room was quiet. Luz looked at her hand and saw a green string leading out of the room.

"I... I see the string." Luz said.

She began to walk out of the room, leaving Boscha behind.

'So, she's not related to me.' Boscha thought, a little upset, 'Well, time to go remove the rest of the toxicity from my life.'

As Boscha walked out of the room, and in the opposite direction of Luz, Luz was following the string.

"If they have something like this, I wonder if they have the red string that finds your soulmate." Luz said, "Knowing my luck I would have four or something like that."

As Luz kept following the string, she began to realize, it was getting tighter. Her relative was in the school! Luz started moving faster, her relative and first real clue to who her other parent is, is so close! Luz turned the corner and nearly crashed into Willow.

"Luz, are you okay?! Why are you running?" Willow asked.

"Oh, because Boscha helped me find a way to find my parent!" Luz said, noticing the string was starting to get long again, which meant the other person was on the move, "Sorry, I have to go!"

Luz ran past Willow, leaving her confused.

"Boscha helped her?" She asked aloud to no one in particular, "Well, I... guess I should go thank Boscha."

Those words alone wanted to make Willow vomit. Willow walked away, while Luz kept running. The string got tighter, and tighter, and then... she ran into someone. Luz groaned and rubbed her head as she got up. She looked at who she ran into and helped her up.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run... into... you."

Luz looked at her pinkie and saw that the string was also connected to the girl she bumped into. Her half-sister...
