Once Dipper and Mabel were on the shore, the two were given some towels to dry off with.

"Thanks for rescuing us," said Dipper.

"It was nothing," said Daring with a boastful tone of voice even though he had done nothing as Darling managed to reach the twins first.

"By the way, who are you two?" asked Apple.

"I'm Mabel Pines and this is my twin brother Dipper," said Mabel.

"You two came from a different world, didn't you?" asked Raven who was using her magic to try and help dry them off.

"Yeah, we… the Journal!" said Dipper as he grabbed his bag and found his own journal to be soaked. For his cover, Dipper used a metal cut out of a pine tree.

"I knew that I should have gone with the water proofing spell," said a saddened Dipper while tossing the ruined book into the sand out of frustration.

"Don't you have a copy back home?" asked Mabel.

"And how is that supposed to help us in this situation?!" asked Dipper at the same time that he used his hands to motion to their surroundings.

"I could try to repair it for you if you would like," said Raven as she finished her spell.

"Not like you could destroy it any more than it's already been," said Dipper.

"So, we've introduced ourselves but what about all of you?" asked Mabel who wanted to change the topic. Meanwhile, in the tower room where the Evil Queen's mirror was.

"You were right, he will be useful," she said while watching Dipper through a mirror in her mirror world.

"Just be careful," said Bill Cipher as he floated behind the Evil Queen.

"Those Pine twins are stronger than you may think, and they are taught to get apart," he said.

"Don't worry, I may be locked in this mirror world, but I can still pull some strings out there as well," said the Evil Queen with a wicked laugh.
