This was supposed to be a one shot, but somehow it ended up as a two shot. I guess I wanted to write another side, another story for this. Anyway, hi! Welcome to the unexpected second part of this odd sorta kinda, crossover!

I don't have much else to say other than, enjoy reading!

*SPOILER WARNING: It's Vague, but I do mention something that takes place toward the end of KHIII!

.

"We were always together."

Something never felt quite right. He knows, but he is never sure. Ever since he woke up in the wilderness of this strange land known as Hisui, he felt incomplete. His right side always felt bare, though he could never explain why.

.

"Practically joined at the hip."

Since arriving in this land, he was taken in by a group known as the Pearl Clan. He was given shelter and a place to stay. As the days passed by and they saw how skilled he was with Pokémon, he was given the task of being a warden to the one known as the Noble Lady Sneasler. Those feelings he once had when he first came here slowly dissipated over time. The noble followed him everywhere, always sticking close to his right side. He no longer felt the strange loneliness that plagued his feelings, his thoughts, his phantom that always stood at his right. The Noble Sneasler took that place. Everywhere he went, she followed. The Pearl clan hardly ever saw them apart.

.

"We'd wear the same clothes…"

His clothes were unique everyone would say, a material unlike anything they ever saw. He never questioned what he wore nor did he question the symbol atop his hat. He simply wore it, feeling as if it was important. It wasn't until he met another like him, a person who had been derailed from their original station that he began to remember its importance. These clothes he wore, they were familiar. He recalled a man in white who liked 'winning more than anything.' Their clothes, they were the same, different colors, but the same.

.

"…eat the same food…"

Akari and Rei had invited him to eat Benni's famous potato mochi as a way to thank him for all he had done in the Highlands. He had initially turned it down, but with a nudge from Sneasler, he accepted. As they ate, they asked him if he ever remembered anything since that day. The young skyfaller must have filled in the other about the situation he surmised. He had not remembered much more than the man in white and the Pokémon that wielded purple flames with mastery. But as they talked and began to eat, he was brought back to what he felt was a memory. A boy much younger than him was moving food onto his plate and he in turn did the same. As he was seeing this, unknowing he had broken his potato mochi in half and had set it aside on the plate. He remembers, he use to share his food with another, the man in white. But like that, that moment was gone and a single tear fell from his right eye.

.

"…go the same places."

The more time he spent with the skyfaller, the more he felt closer to something. Traveling alongside his newfound friend and the Noble Sneasler, he began to remember. In bits and pieces, he remembers he was almost never by himself. In bits and pieces, he remembers almost everywhere he went, there was always someone following. He was hardly ever alone. The phantom feelings soon returned and neither the noble nor the skyfaller could do anything about it.

.

"We were an identical pair-like walking alongside a mirror."

He was with Akari and Rei once more, agreeing to help the two train their Pokémon. He readies his pokéball and does a strange pose, one arm points towards his challenger and the other arm points to his left. His fingers point down and the other points straight. For a brief moment, he looks over to his right, expecting to see someone, but finds his place empty. After the first battle, he was questioned by both what was the meaning of his pose. He does not know. He battles the next challenger and again he does the same by looking over to his right again. This time, he sees a clearer image of the man in white. His expression was wide with a smile, his coat a pristine white color, and his face was like looking into a mirror. They were nearly identical.

My bro-

But he collapses, Akari and Rei rush to his side, his Pokémon catch him and he remembers no more.

.

"So why is it me here now?"

He is alone. In a dark void, he is alone. It is strangely familiar but also foreign. He had been in a void before he believes, but this was not the same, he knows. The presence of this strange void was warm, but unlike what he believes of the other, it's lonely. He does not feel enveloped in a warm hug, but rather he's pushed by a gentle breeze in an unknown direction. He allows himself to be carried by this wind, letting it take him who knows where.

.

"There's this… this feeling."

As the winds push him, his heart begins to tighten. There is a pang of sadness that begins swell. This feeling, it feels… like grief. This feeling, it's as if it was and wasn't his own. Something was lost. Something was separated. Something was forgotten. Something was remembered. These overwhelming feelings, they caused him to travel through a whirlwind of emotions. They were both his and not his. It was overwhelming.

.

"Calling to me."

The more he followed theses feelings, the more the loneliness grew. The more he pressed on, the more the emotions grew intense. Yet, he was entranced by it all. It hurt, but something in these feelings was calling out to him. Something deep within him was calling to him to find the source.

.

"Pulling at me."

His heart was groaning in agony, but he had to keep going. He didn't know why, something, something had changed. It was no longer just a call, but a pull. Whatever he was feeling that was both his and not his, it was pulling him in all sorts of directions. His head throbbed in pain, his body trembled with each step, his heart pounded profusely. He kept on, fighting every feeling of anguish, of sorrow, of loneliness, of blame.

.

"And now I share it."

Then, all was still. All those feelings became one, but no longer was he tormented by such heartache and painful emotions, they were being replaced. His feelings and the ones that weren't his own became one and the same. A spark of hope was ignited and all at once, the void transformed before his eyes. He was now welcomed to the sight of an endless sky that surrounded him all over. He took a step and saw the gentle rippling of the water below. This world, a beautiful union of the water and the sky, it was peaceful. When he looked straight ahead, before his eyes he saw a glittering star floating in this great expanse. Unsure why, he walked up and sat next to the star. He looked up and it seemed the star did too, they were sharing this beautiful sight together.

.

"Feel it as my own."

It was quiet, the star was quiet, and so was he. The sight, it was beautiful. There were no words to describe it. Finally, he heard a sound, a voice so familiar, so broken, yet filled with a joy despite its monotone sound.

"Ingo…"

He looked, no longer did he see a star, but he saw the man in white, his image as clear as day. There before him, the figure stood, his eyes were watery and smile quivering as he was blubbering. This man in white, not a phantom, not a stranger, and more than a friend.

"My brother… Emmet."

His names was all it took for him to break down and cry joyously. Oh how he had waited. How long had it been? Ingo had changed so much since they were separated. His clothes were tattered, his body more tone, his chin sported a goatee, oh, he had changed so much. But he knew, even if he changed, his brother still the same.

Ingo had finally remembered. They immediately embraced one another in a hug of reunion. They shared it, they felt it, this was real. Their hug had released every emotion, every memory, and now they were feeling their experiences as their own. Everything was shared in that hug, from Ingo's memory loss and struggle to remember to Emmet's isolation and loneliness in the expanse of this space as well as the hope the strange transparent boy had given him. In that hug, all was released, and now there was nothing hidden between them.

They were finally…

.

"We are..."

He awoke to the bright light of the morning sun and found himself on an unfamiliar bed. In his line of sight were Professor Laventon and the two children. He had given them quite a scare when he fainted and was brought to the medical ward. He had been out for about two nights. He apologized and the nurse Presslle told the group to let him rest some more. They looked worried but he reassured them that all would be well. They smiled sweetly and nodded before leaving him to rest some more. Presslle checked him over, told him to rest again, and then left to fulfill her other duties.

He closed his eyes, trying to recall what happened. His memories were foggy, but he felt as if he had dreamed. A dream involving a view of an endless sky, a large body of water that mirrored the sky, and a star that floated within the void. No… not a star. The man who looked like him, the man in white, the man who liked winning more than anything. It wasn't just a dream, it was more than that. But he can't recall every detail. He knows, the only memory that is clear from the rest.

That was his…

"Brother…"

Emmet had watched him disappear. He was alone once more. He was alone, but he wasn't lonely. He finally saw his brother again. If Ingo was able to come here once, he could come back here again soon. But even if he doesn't, he would remember the words of the boy.

At the same time as Emmet, Ingo's heart felt words echo from within. They were of one thought and aloud they spoke,

"No matter how far away, whether worlds apart, in our hearts, we are and will be…"

.

"...always together."

.

END

Sub-Ideas: Ingo's Time In Hisui

- His Life Briefly

- His Remembering

- Feeling Emmet's Sadness

- Reunite

I still haven't actually haven't reached postgame, so yeah. I have no idea what goes on next since I stopped after quelling the fifth Noble. If anything's wrong, please feel free to let me know.

If you're wondering who was chosen to complete the Pokédex of Hisui, I kept it vague enough so you can decide whether it was Akari or Rei. Other than that, I don't really know why I came back to this, but I did. So now we have a "Ingo remembers and they kind of reunited" scenario now.

Just putting this here again, this fic was my answer to where Emmet ended up. It's NOT THE answer, just an answer. It's the world of ocean and sky... I understand, it doesn't make much sense unless you've seen gameplay or played KHIII yourself. For those who haven't, spoiler warning in the brackets.

*[SPOILERS HERE KHIII MENTIONED AGAIN: Emmet's in the Final World after getting separated from Ingo in the void. A final resting place for hearts who persist and wait. But on a rare occasion, is a temporary spot for someone who is displaced. Sometimes dreamers can come to this world too.]

Another messy story with probably a lot of mistakes. Like the last one, I just hope it makes sense. Any thoughts of your own on this idea? If you like it and want to try expanding it in your own fanfic, I say go for it! Just let me know, cause I'd like to read you take on this idea.

So that's it! Thanks again for reading another chapter of my strange Sorta, Kinda Crossover? Thanks!
