Chapter 1: In a cage
Music plays in the background, a logo appears, Warner Bros. Pictures, and the title, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". Zoom in on Harry Potter, now 12-years-old, who is reading his yearbook and staring at his friends, Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger. A screech is heard from Harry's pet owl, Hedwig.
"I can't let you out, Hedwig, I am not allowed to use magic outside of school. Besides if Uncle Vernon–" Harry said, before being interrupted by Vernon.
"Harry Potter!" Vernon shouted in his most hoarse voice.
"Now you've done it," Harry said, angry at his owl.
"I'm warning you if you can't control that bloody bird it would have to go," Vernon informed Harry.
"But she's bored, if I could only let her out for an hour or two," Harry retorted, thinking of his friends. Vernon was busy fixing Dudley's tie.
"Hah, so you could send messages to your freaky little friends, no sir," Vernon commented.
"But I haven't had any messages from any of my friends, not one, all summer." Harry informed him. Dudley just shrugged and bumped into Harry.
"Who would want to be friends with you?" Dudley asked.
"Now, I would hope you would be a little more grateful, we've raised you since you were a baby, given you the food off our table, even let you have Dudley's second bedroom, purely out of the goodness of our heart," Vernon said. Dudley then nearby started touching the cake.
"Not now, popkins, wait for the Masons to arrive," Petunia, Harry's aunt, said.
"Which should be any minute," Vernon said.
"Now, let's go over the schedule once again shall we, Petunia when the Masons arrive, you will be, in the lounge, waiting to welcome them graciously, to our home." Petunia said, with a fake smile.
"Good, and Dudley?" Vernon praised her, before turning on Dudley.
"I'll be waiting to open the door." Dudley said.
"Excellent, and you?" Vernon asked, turning on Harry.
"I'll be in my bedroom, making no noises, and pretending that I don't exist," Harry said.
"Too right, you will be, for any luck, this will be the biggest deal of my whole career, and you will not, mess it up!" Vernon exclaimed, before sentencing Harry to his room.
